Amazing Tex mex restaurant! Great service, nice ambiance. Good prices for the quality and taste. The molcajete was awesome and well served.

The customer service was satisfactory, with a friendly and helpful server. However, the speed of service could be improved, as there were delays in receiving drink refills and the check. On a positive note, the chips, salsa, and bean dip were delicious. I ordered a salad with charred shrimp, which were exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. However, there were a few areas where the salad could be enhanced. The dressing was excessively sweet for my preference, and there were instances where the salad lacked sufficient dressing, resulting in a bland taste. The soapase were generally enjoyable, albeit slightly tangy for my palate. I also would have preferred shredded chicken rather than chunks, but overall, the dish was satisfactory. In summary, the dining experience was positive, with some opportunities for improvement. The food was mostly enjoyable, with a few minor critiques. I would consider returning to the establishment to give it another chance.

Not bad! Great place for tex-mex. Queso was great and loved that the black bean dip with the salsa. Think I ate more of the bean dip than the salsa. I did get flautas and they were decent. My margarita was 10/10 so I'd come back to drink for sure.

The food, service and atmosphere here are superb! Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is impressive! The staff are friendly, kind and attentive. This has become our new favorite! Come and see what you’re missing!

This place was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Our server was absolutely wonderful. We were a big party celebrating my niece's Sweet 16, so there was a lot going on. At one moment I looked up, and the server was cutting my nephew's food. He was so kind and accommodating. And the food was all amazing. We kept looking at each other's plates and tasting each other's food, because it was all so good. I highly recommend this place.

Love, love their food!!! Great tacos, enchiladas, and beans!! Their salsa is fantastic. And their chicken tortilla soup is the best!!! It is my go-to comfort food. I actually ate it several days in a row to help me over some rough times. It’s that good!!! The orders come with chips, salsa, and black beans. All great. They have a cute patio for nice weather.

What an awesome 5-star evening our group had on a recent Saturday evening. For group dining, Los Jimadores has a wonderful private dining room that is very spacious and can accommodate a large group. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and escorted to our dining room. Our servers immediately started taking drink and appetizer orders for our group. Hot baskets of chips, salsa and a wonderful bear dip were placed strategically around our tables. Chips were filled frequently so we never lacked for anything. By the way, the chips were fried to perfection with no greasy feel to them. I loved their salsa and the After our group got settled in with drinks and munchies, our servers, with military precision, to take our orders in an "orderly" way. My wife loves quesadillas, so she ordered a half of chicken quesadillas, perfect portion for her, and I ordered the La Bandera Platter, I was hungry. It consisted of a cheese enchilada topped with green sauce, chicken enchilada topped with sour cream sauce and a beef enchilada topped with chile con carne sauce. The three enchiladas were served with rice and beans. I probably ordered too much, but oh well, the platter sounded so good. After a short wait, a barrage of servers converged on private room with all of our entrees. It was amazing, each entree was delivered efficiently to the correct individual. Margaritas were refreshed, we were all ready to dig in. My wife loved her chicken quesadillas. My La Bandera platter was SO delicious, the three types of enchiladas each stood on their own deliciousness. I loved the variety of the enchiladas. Los Jimadores rice and bean which accompanied the enchiladas were so flavorful. I ended our wonderful gathering by trying Las Jimadores' flan. Oh my goodness it was one of the most awesome flans I've had in a very long time. My wife and I can't wait to return on our own to explore more items on the menu, plus try a flight of tequilas. Thank you Los Jimadores for a wonderful experience.

I was craving Tex-mex while running errands during my lunch break so I popped into Los Jimadores to place a to go order. 5 stars for service - every that works there is always professional and kind. 5 stars for the taste of the food. I've never ordered anything from this restaurant that wasn't delicious! 4 stars for food packaged to go. This one kind of falls on me. I ordered the crispy tacos lunch special (came with 2 crispy tacos, beans, rice, chips & salsa). Everything was at the right temperature when I arrived home (less than 10 minutes after I left the restaurant)...everything except the taco shells. They were a soggy mess by the time I got home - they fell apart as soon as I tried to pick one up. BUT, everything else tasted delicious! 1 star for packaging issue. They serve an amazing warm bean dip and salsa with the fresh made chips. Unfortunately, instead of wrapping each container individually they put the warm salsa on top of the warm bean dip, then wrapped in plastic wrap. As I was unpacking the bag I noticed the salsa container sinking into the bean dip - the plastic lid broke from the heat of both containers. I'm thankful it was wrapped up, otherwise I would have had a mess to deal with in my car and at home. Maybe wrap the separately for takeout orders? Besides this minor snafu, Los Jimadores is always consistently delicious, friendly, and is a great local spot. I'll definitely be back, but will dine in (gives me an excuse to have one of their yummy margaritas).

Very happy with our first visit!! The servers work very hard and care about their customer service!! Michael was our bartender/server along with his wife and they did an amazing job. Margaritas were FABULOUS!!!!! We had the stuffed japs for an appetizer...WOW!!! Delicious and huge!!!! Served with their great queso even though we asked for ranch too. We loved the combo fajitas too! Both corn and flour tortillas as made in house!!! Huge WIN! We WILL be back!!!

Great service, great food and a calm atmosphere. They have different flavors of Margaritas. The Guava and the Mando are two of my favorites. Try the pollo acolchó or the Molcajete. Both awesome dishes. Small restaurant in Bedford,TX.its one of my favorite places to go and unwind with some good food and a margarita.

Always wonderful margaritas. I love the patio ambiance. It's nice to take my children without worrying about bothering inside guests. The service is always mid.

My husband and I stopped in wanting to see what types of tequila they have. This isn't a place I would recommend for tequila, but maybe a good margarita. The food was ok. I think I just didn't like my meal but nothing was wrong with it. This is a small local business, seems family owned. It wasn't busy at all, yet our waiter seemed really busy. I would go back and try something different.

2 ate for $27 (lunch) before tip. Great salsa flavor and it was warm - they also include a black bean puree - really nice combo for the chips. Food was fresh, hot and portion large. Solid 3 stars!

Came with a party of 10 and they had plenty of room for us. Everyone liked their food. The Karla's dip was good. The margaritas were tasty, even if the two I ordered were made differently. Good choice for Mex food in the area

Wanted to try this place today for the first time. We called ahead because we have 11 people. Table was set and ready for us when we arrived. We then sat there for 15-20 mins without anyone acknowledging us - no drink order, no chips, no "hey I'll be with yall soon" nothing. The place smelled amazing walking into it, food sounded good when looking over the menu, but we walked out.

Always our favorite. They get delivery orders right, great work at the pass! Food is hot and so delicious.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday night - we were greeted immediately and seated. It's a lot bigger on the inside than you'd think from just looking at it. They also have a patio, but it looked like it was closed that day. Our server made sure we had everything we needed, and was quick in getting our order to us. He was very friendly! My boyfriend and I shared the "Pancho Villa" and the "Tres Salsas Burrito". The Chile relleno on the pancho villa was delicious! I would definitely eat it again - it had a great mix of flavors. I liked the burrito, but I wish the inside was mixed better, as sometimes I'd get a bite of just lettuce/rice. I will definitely come back and try more delicious options!

Black bean dip great, queso very good, charro beans very good. Chicken and beef fajitas very good. Dig into the presentation of Tilapia Poblana. The fish was cooked perfectly, the sauce wow doesn't take away from the flavors of the vegetables and rice. It's tucked away in the corner behind McDonald's but you have to visit.

Food and service were great. Came here with my family & left happy. Best tortillas I've ever had; they're scratch made and served hot. My only complaint would be the shrimp quesadillas are made with tiny shrimp & I'd prefer jumbo shrimp...especially for the price. I did not care for the tiny non-seared shrimp and ending up switching out the shrimp quesadilla for the chicken quesadilla. Everything else was delicious and can't wait to come back. This place has the absolute best coconut margarita as their signature drink

It's not Mexican good. It's Tex mex. And rosas has better meat. If you are wanting a gringo Mexican experience, this is your place. All white ppl was sitting to the right of the place. Mexicans to the left. Margaritas didnt taste like they had flavoring. Better luck bringing your own addons. The food was not good. No flavor. All well done like leather. The tortillas where not fresh made. They where raw mission tortillas that where still raw! But for those of y'all that don't know better, it's your place. The music was silly Mexican stuff I haven't herd since I left Mexico. And the server needs to ask the uncle (manager) for everything. Over all it's a Tex mex chillis. There is better choices.

Looove every meal I have had here. It's a quiet, hole in the wall but the food is amazing. The staff is friendly, and the prices aren't crazy, and you get huge portions. One of my favs.

My finances family has been going here for years. Once I moved to the area it has quickly become a staple. They have my favorite chicken tortilla soup in town

This local spot is our other go-to for Tex-mex, specifically the Bedford location! Come for the black bean dip & fire roasted salsa with chips (all free) and stay for the BEST homemade corn & flour tortillas that make all of their meals fabulous. I love the shrimp quesadillas! You can't go wrong with any of the items on their extensive menu

We usually go to the North Richland Hills location but last night we drove by and they were closed, so we came to the Bedford location to get our fix. We started off with the queso fundido, which is so delicious- especially with their homemade corn tortillas. We also got the stuffed jalapeño which were fine but not my favorite, personally. We both got the pollo xochitl which I would very highly recommend for anyone unsure of what to order. Pan fried chicken breast with spinach and chipotle mashed potatoes with a mushroom cream sauce- it's seriously amazing and it's what I always order here. Service was great as always.

I love this place! Very authentic and has amazing salsa. 3 stars due to the fact that they really need to update their chairs and booths. Everything feels very rundown.

It's Sunday morning, and we wanted Old West Cafe for breakfast. You already know what I'm about to say. One hour wait! No thank you. Right across the highway is this place. I love Mexican breakfast, but plain Jane Mikey isn't such a big fan. First, chips and salsa for breakfast? YES! I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos, Mikey the Mexican omelet. My tacos were big , cheesy, and delicious, but Mikey only ate about half of his omelet. He said it was good, but you can tell, he likes plain old American food. Boring! If lunch and supper are as good as breakfast, you'll like this place. I did!

Service was good but the food was bland had the huveos rancheros and charged extra for tortillas that should have been included with the meal

Tex-Mex in Texas is an awfully competitive category, but Los Jimadores earns their 5 stars through and through. The atmosphere is fantastic and we've never had to wait to be seated here. They have a variety of options from the bar to normal tables to a small outdoor patio. Los Jimadores has Tequila Factory in its name for a reason...their margaritas are to die for. Even the house margarita is exceptional, but they offer a variety of flavored or higher shelf margaritas as well, both frozen and on the rocks. In addition, they have a full bar. For food, the menu has all of the usual suspects at a Tex-Mex joint, but I particularly enjoy their seafood selections. The Seafood Relleno is a tasty treat, as is the tilapia poblano. However, my all time favorite here is the seafood enchilada. Prior to your meal, they also bring out warm chips and salsa (yep, the salsa is warm too, which is different but good!). They also bring out a black bean dip that is wonderful. This is easily my favorite Tex-Mex in Texas.

Solid food, good service. Great drinks. Get the Muertos margarita. If the young guy says he don't know, tell him go read the menu.. Siente te en el sección de hombre o mujer--no El Niño. I hope you enjoy your time out.

Food is always amazing. Just be patient. The burritos are my go to and when you ask for the hottest salsa you won't be disappointed.

I want to like this place. It's close to us so very convenient. We have given it many opportunities but the service is spotty and food average and there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants around that get both right.

This was just good TexMex. Nothing spectacular but really yummy at a good price. If I lived closer to it make it a regular stop. The complimentary black beans and delicious fire roasted salsa was an excellent touch. We ordered to go as we had our fur baby with us. So, I only know the service from the register and he was very polite and helpful.

Went here for dinner tonight. The service was really good, so no complaints there. Everyone was very nice. The reason for the one star rating is the food. The food was just really, really bland. Like not a hint of spice or cumin or paprika or ancho or even salt. VERY Bland. Including the queso. How is queso bland? The chips were okay, a bit stale and come in a small bowl. The salsa was okay but Kinda tasted like Tobacco for some reason. I think they must add some kind of flavoring, like liquid smoke? Anyhow if you want good Mexican food don't come here. There are plenty of other great Mexican food places in the area.

It was our first time here. We had good food and good drinks for a birthday lunch. Being lunch, it wasn't too busy. I felt like our food might have been rushed a bit it was good but might have been a little better for dinner when the kitchen is in a groove. The margarita was strong. One was enough

Excellent! !My wife and I used to come here for our date night for years. both the people and the food was always wonderfu! then we moved away and returned for a visit 6 months later and the food and staff are still amazing!

I know it's DFW....but I think their food is special for a small family joint in a strip mall is worth the detour or travel outside your neighborhood place. If I am traveling to or past the airport, I make a point to always stop in.

Wanting to visit this place for some time now and finally we went for lunch today. Without much waiting we were given a table to be greeted with friendly and courteous staffs. There were many choices and we started with rotones, flautitas tortilla soup then I had their coconut shrimp. We would visit again.

Came in on New Years Eve we were a party of five, the waitress was terrible and she charged us a gratuity. I come here all the time for the passed ten years at least and never seen her and never been charged a gratuity. Very dissatisfied and probably won't ever return.

Delicious food and excellent service. Their refried beans are totally tasty and the rice is fluffy and well seasoned. When a place can get these two things right, one can expect good results with entres. That was my experience. I have had chilaquiles rojos and very tasty chicken flautas. I have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Satisfied every time. Nice music and clean bathroom.

We can't say enough positive things about Los Jimadores! We had a wonderful time with Bravo who made great milagro margaritas and was attentive to all tables he took care of. The chicken mushroom fajitas were amazing! When you are looking for a great spot to bring friends and family, come here and ask for Bravo!

My husband and I come here a lot and always share because their plates are a decent size. We always love when Levi is there and able to wait on us, he's great!

Looks like an unassuming hole in the wall in the corner of a strip mall, but the inside is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The menu has a lot of offerings ranging from familiar to unique. I ordered the spinach enchiladas and I really enjoyed my meal. The black beans are different from many other Mexican restaurants and I actually prefer it to the usual pinto. My partner ordered the tacos al pastor and also found it enjoyable. We were both impressed with the salsa, it had just enough burn without being unpleasant. The prices were low very reasonable for the portion and quality of food. I'm glad I found this little place, and I would definitely recommend it

Ive been here on multiple occasions, but never for breakfast. It's not wild like other breakfast locations with crazy wait times. I was seated immediately and treated like the only customer in the building! The chips and salsa/beans came out steaming. Their salsa is one of the best in my opinion. I got the huevos rancheros--also good! I'll probably swap the potatoes for rice next time, as I'm just not a fan of that style. Great place!

Current fave mid-cities Tex-Mex, hands down. Consistently delicious, well made, and travels well if ordering pick-up or delivery. My husband and I both like the ribeye tacos. When I've eaten in the restaurant, it was busy, and the service was great and very well organized. Probably some of the best staff I've seen in terms of managing volume--super efficient, taking orders from multiple people (including kids and people moving seats). They got great food out fast AND got orders and checks right. Love Los Jimadores! It's the real deal. Love the food for delivery or in person!!

I can't believe its been over 4 years since I last reviewed. I come here all the time! It's definitely my family's favorite local hangout, the staff knows most of us by name. It's such a nice feeling to be remembered and warmly greeted every time you walk in the doors. Go become a regular! As far as the food goes, it's not the best Tex-Mex I've ever had, but the amazing customer service, black bean dip, and warm salsa makes up for it! Don't worry, if you prefer cold salsa you just have to ask for it. Otherwise your complimentary chips and salsa comes with the most delicious simple black bean dip and fresh salsa, both served hot! I like to order different things a la carte. A crunchy chicken taco, a pork tamale, a cheese enchilada. A side of refried beans. Bean and cheese nachos with a side of sour cream and sliced avocado. A cup of tortilla soup. The menu is pretty big and has all your Tex-Mex favorites. The fajitas are good too, anytime someone nearby orders them they smell so delicious and I wish I'd ordered them. Plus they have handmade flour AND handmade corn tortillas which are delicious on their own and even better when stuffed with goodies.

Pretty standard mexican food. Interior is weird so the -vibes- were weird. Not very cozy. Worst part is the ssssssllllloooooowwwwww service. Overall not a great experience

This place has been here for a long time.It has just changed names a couple of times.what has not changed is the food.I would say it's average.Not great but not bad.Last time I was there I ordered the beef enchiladas with rice and beans.I also had a couple of margaritas.Like I said my food was ok.The margaritas were pretty good and stout.I would say if your in the neighborhood stop by but if not don't go out of your way.
