The tasting room is a dark and simple space that mirrors the striking modernism of their Elgin location while adding a Scottsdale touch. This place is breathtaking. If you're into wine, great food, disconnecting and nature this is for you. They have 9 casitas to stay in and a beautiful tasting room/ restaurant. We are in love with this gem in Arizona's wine country.

Google
Amazing secluded getaway! The casitas are beautiful and well appointed with coffee, teas, and breakfast items. We did the wine tasting with a light lunch and had dinner at the Biscuit- all food was delicious. We received kind and prompt service throughout our stay. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you Los Milics!

Google
Wine is phenomenal — rich, balanced, and full of soul. The setting is just as impressive — modern design meets desert magic. A must-visit for any Arizona wine lover.

Absolutely amazing!!! The owner even greeted us and told the beautiful story of the property! We had dinner and stayed on the property as well! The wine is amazing, the food is amazing and the views are stunning!

My wife and I love it here!! We’re locals to the area and we think they do a great job. The wine is good, food is great and everyone is always very happy!! 10/10 recommend

Google
Wow! My new favorite winery in the Sonoita-Elgin area! Beautiful setting and vistas, awing architecture. Restaurant has full window wall that opens to outside patio and unbelievable mountain views. Oh, the wines! The best, rivals any places in California. The food is phenomenal and award winning! Definitely a special gem, and I can't wait to go back! Awesome service, top notch experience!

A year after our first visit to Los Milics our original impressions have been confirmed: This truly IS a destination winery, lodging and a 5-star restaurant. Service this time came courtesy of the fantastic and delightful "Allie" (Alejandra). Incidentally, Allie was unanimously voted WORLD'S SWEETEST SERVER (by my bride and me!). The cuisine once again blew our collective minds with a gorgeous and lightly glazed grilled salmon with patatas panaderas. These traditional Spanish potatoes look like scallop potatoes, but they are OH SO thinly sliced and delicate that it will not soon be forgotten. Just wow. Wine was fabulous and our favorite brewery, TOMBSTONE was also represented with their fabulous Rye IPA. After dinner we toured the wonderful casitas that feature huge picture windows and beds that raise and lower from the ceiling to create more living space. I told you this place blows our mind and is simply unreal at every level.

Google
Fun, fancy, welcoming vineyard! Alejandra was wonderful and super informative. The wines were tasty, we especially liked Lorenzo's tempranillo blend and Carolyn's petit verdot. The Cheese plate was more substantial than we expected and the croquet monsieur sandwich was savory and satisfying.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. Amazing and very accommodating staff. We arrived here on a trip with our family who live in Tucson and we got to enjoy their delicious white wines, as recommended by their bartender. The place was very nice with great ambiance. My wife, son and family had a blast here. I also happened to have brought along some artisan cheese that I wanted to pair with the wine, and they were very accommodating, allowing us to enjoy it with the wine even through we had brought it ourselves. The casitas are also very lovely and relaxing. Highly recommended. This might end up being part of our annual visit to Tucson and Arizona.

Yelp
I came here with a group this time, and everyone thought it was a beautiful tasting room with stunning views. I did the tasting and, on this visit, preferred Lorenzo's--it was my favorite of the wines I tried. Their tasting is more generous than most, equivalent to about two glasses of wine rather than the standard one you get at many other wineries. The tasting also includes a wine glass to take home, though we unfortunately forgot to grab ours! They've started offering dinner service, and I'd love to come back and try it sometime.

Yelp
Loved every part of our dining experience. It was our first time in Sonoita, and I'm so glad our friends booked a dinner reservation. The wine was excellent, and the food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We had the vegetable entree which was a stuffed eggplant and the rack of lamb--each one a hit. Perfect for sharing and pairing with their tempranillo. The setting is what really makes it though. The dining space is open-air with views of the vineyard and surrounding mountains. We went on Saturday night and watched the full moon glow behind the mountains and fully shine from above. Such an incredible experience. Service was friendly, attentive, and refreshingly down-to-earth. The vibe here was welcoming and relaxed, and the quality of wine held up against some of the best we've had in other California wine country. I'd recommend a reservation if you're going on a weekend. The architecture is stunning--modern but warm, and it's built right into the vineyard. Definitely our new favorite spot in Sonoita, and I'm already looking forward to bringing our friends who come visit us.

Yelp
The first visit has been very positive. The wine tasting room was comfortable with great views and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the tasting flight and the seasonal salad was tasty. Future dinner reservations at "The Biscuit" and another afternoon of wine tasting have already been set.

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DINNER IF YOU'RE NEARBY OR AT RUNE VINEYARDS!! Wonderful dinner spot with great wines in Elgin! I went in a Saturday with my fiancé and his parents and WOW- the food, service, gorgeous sunset views and vineyards all around was GORGEOUS! Slightly hidden in a gorgeous landscape of mountains and fields. The architecture of the place was breathtaking. When inside, the glass allows you to see the beautiful sunset peaking through. We ended up getting the wine pairings with the dinner menu. The pork was FABULOUS, it was perfectly cooked and the sweetness and crunch from the pomegranate was outstanding! Lamb chops were also delicious, they were so tender and tasty and also cooked perfectly. Charred octopus with the cheesy grits were very nice. I loved the burrata too, so well seasoned and went really nice with the crispy breads!

Yelp
Just excellent! Met the owner and his wife who were both gracious, Will come back to pick up a bottle of Jules.

Yelp
What an amazing vineyard. I can see why it is the #2 vineyard in the U.S. the staff was amazing. Fanny was the sommelier that helps us and she is one of the best I have ever met. The staff at a whole were great. She knew so much and taught us a thing or two about the wines. The tasting room is beautiful and very unique, the view from the tasting room is phenomenal. We will definitely be back. We shared the croque monsieur: ham, gruyère, béchamel, dijon on barrio bread focaccia yumm and the panna cotta with wine reduction so worth the drive.

Yelp
Let's start off by saying that the place is absolutely stunning and has gorgeous views of the Biscuit! Really really really great place. Great architectural lines, but....the wine.... My personal opinion, not the best, not the worst. Their whites are doable their reds are young. I got the MO's and it had a really really bad weedy smell, not the best to drink either. Oh, and let's just say that we also got a really bad demeaning look by the hostess when we walked in with our glasses from another winery. Usually the Sonoita wineries will give you a discount if you bring in a local wineglass but I guess Los Millie's is beyond that. Our bad for not informing ourselves before visiting. Oh well...

Yelp
This is a nice place to wine taste. The tasting was $25 per person and you get to keep the glass. We had an appetizer and it was very good too. However my palate changed after I had a few bites. I was unable to finish wine tasting after that :(. They do add in a 20% service charge automatically but we did ask if that applied to wine purchases, which it did not. The restrooms were clean.

Jill C.

Yelp
Now with dinner service and a new chef; still a delicious menu. I had the grilled Mahi mahi with pipian (green mole) and shared a dessert of chocolate mousse. Get the house made bread to start!

Yelp
Wonderful venue with amazing views of Mustang mountains and Biscuit. (See photo) All of the wines were excellent. We did the tasting. Generous 2 oz pour of 5 wines for $20. I had a Croque monsieur. It was served on Barrio bread. Awesome. Only 8 items on the small plates menu Velvet ordered all of them. They were out of all three of them. Service by Shauna was excellent.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful. I wasn't aware of this place last year during our previous trip to Sonoita and I'm so glad we found it. The wine was great and food was yummy. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. We kept it basic with the roasted potatoes, beet salad, and burrata. All solid choices. We shared the appetizer plates and a few bottles of wine. The place itself was gorgeous. The dining room is open air facing the vineyard and the mountains. So picturesque. What a view to sit and drink wine! We went on Saturday and it was pouring down rain, true monsoon style and it felt incredible inside. The service was just right, very attentive and friendly yet not wine snobby as I've sometimes experienced in other wine regions (ie Napa, Santa Rosa, Sonoma). The wine itself was definitely on par with being as good as the California wineries. Other reviews say this place gets busy and to make reservations. We were fortunate to walk right in and get seated (we also had a driver who helped with this process). After we sat down a couple large groups arrived as walk-ins and had to wait, or decided to leave. This is my new favorite place in Sonoita. I liked the modern architecture and style of the building, it's built right in the middle of the vineyard. It's like a "wine Stonehenge" and I thought it looked very striking against the greenery & grapes. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Rated - "Best Winery" by USA Today, 2024. Winning in polls currently. This is my art studio away from home. Absolute Uber Contemporary / Modern glitz architecture aesthetic. Pronounced quality Wine flavor profiles. Great comestible dishes. Residing on the slopes of the Mustang mountains, a bizarre geological uplift, utilizing as a catchment for natural groundwater flow. Wine master and server "Ale" is the finest and sweetest around, she's fantastic as always. With the Whetstone mountains to the north, Rin Con mountains and Santa Catalina mountains to the northwest, Santa Rita mountains to the west and the Canelo Hills to the south, (all Sky Islands) truly a vast view of some of the worlds greatest bio diversity. This is a must, stepping into another art tasting portal. We all love you.

Yelp
We absolutely LOVED our stop at Los Milics while exploring southern AZ wine country. Actually, it ended up being our favorite stop. First starting with the ambiance..walking into the tasting area was incredible. The architecture was so striking and loved that it made it as if you were walking into an exclusive space. The service was warm and welcoming from the hostess to our server. We brought our baby with us and no one made us feel like we did not belong. We shared a tasting before deciding on a bottle to bring home. Our server came to check on us and fill our cups and a nice pace. We enjoyed all the wines and opted on bringing a bottle of the 2019 Lorenzo's Tempranillo home! Looking forward to returning in the future. xx

Yelp
Visited 8/4/2023 Michelle (cat mama) over at Charron Vineyards recommended we visit here, touting the view and food... The wine tasting room is probably one of the top 5 most beautiful that I have ever seen. This relatively new winery has a few growing pains...signage/directions on where to park are not clear, as is where to enter the tasting room. Online reservations are encouraged, but when checking in, they confusingly refund the reservation fee....and honestly, the disorganization takes away from the beauty and wonderfulness that the experience should be. Ambiance/Cleanliness-Breathtaking. Chen + Suchart Studio designed one of the most striking tasting rooms using concrete, cor-ten and glass that I have seen in any state or country. They absolutely highlighted "The Biscuit" mountain, as a matter of fact, that is the name of the restaurant. The acoustics are such that for such a cavernous room there is little echo and it was very relaxing to sit and watch the vineyard. So clean, shiny and new! 5 stars Service-....but the service sucked. We had an inattentive young man as a server that showed no interest in explaining anything or even in taking our order. If the winery truly wants to enter the world class that it could, it needs to either adequately train, fire this employee, or add staff. 2 stars. Food-Mixed bag...we ordered the pintxos of jamon Serrano, Manchego and salmorejo + chevre, piquillo peppers and artichokes. That was the description on the menu...wasn't sure how it was going to be presented. Could be a plate, a finger sandwich, a bruschetta...it was on crostini, sort of a finger sandwich....served with almonds and stemmed jumbo capers. We had to ask for plates, silverware, napkins...eating with the hands was messy. When my gf asked for the setup, the "lead"/manager? comped us two desserts, the panna cotta, which was devine, served with an almond/egg white ball of a cookie that was so yummy and a chocolate mousse, which was too chocolatey for me....the food was delicious and I would order it again, but the kerfuffle with plates and service left a bad taste in my mouth. 3 stars

Yelp
Unique architecture, nice patio seating with views of the vineyards, and small plates to go with your tasting are all reasons you should go to Los Milics Vineyards. When you first drive up, it doesn't feel like this winery is in southern Arizona - the building is very modern and stands out amongst the rolling grassy hills if Sonoita. Recommend making a reservation for a table through their online platform so that you are guaranteed a spot if you want to be outside. We had a beautiful morning of wine tasting to escape the Tucson heat - the tasting features 5 wines (2 rosés and 3 reds currently); it's a bit on the pricier side compared to some of the other wineries we've been to in the area, but you get $5 off if you bring your own glass. We typically prefer red wines, but we were surprised at how much we enjoyed the rosés which we thought were better than their reds. With the tasting, we had the Spanish style bruschetta plate which was light and complimented the tasting and ended with the panna cota which featured a red wine reduction. Intrigued to see how this winery continues to develop and would definitely come back!

Yelp
Came in for just a tasting and some Pana Cotta, it was all delicious. The place is beautiful, what amazing architecture, I was very impressed. I made a reservation to secure our table and had the fee refunded as soon as we checked in. This was hassle free and I really appreciate that! My partner and I shared one tasting and bought the beautiful glass as a souvenir. The wine selection was amazing, the white was an excellent starter. The service was impressive, it was typically only a few minutes after our last sip that the server came back to pour us the next selection. The pana cotta with the wine reduction and the dessert that came with it were delicious. We really enjoyed the visit out here and cannot wait to come back and bring our friends and family :)

Yelp
Visiting for a girls' weekend and could not be happier with our lunch/brunch decision. Every wine for tasting was great, the food complementary and excellent and all enhanced by the incredible views of the mountains and vineyards. The architecture of the tasting room/restaurant is incredible and it matches the entire experience. Note: reservations required.

Yelp
We sat by a window and had some amazing views. Had a very delicious burger and salads. Great service and wine tasting.

Jessica L.

Yelp
the experience was amazing! The service the ambiance was all great!!! & big shout to Osvaldo for taking care of myself and my group of girls. Such a fun experience worth the drive from phoenix

Mart W.

Yelp
Not a big menu and it's pretty pricey. But the view and service is fantastic! Expect to pay what they call a 'service fee' of 20%. This fee includes all of what you purchase, food, wine and even if you buy a $58 bottle of wine. I don't agree with this and it's not in writing, just on your check. Ask for Kyle! Very knowledgeable and fun!
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
This place is absolutely STUNNNNNNING!!!! (And their wine is phenomenal)... Their tasting room wasn't technically open to the public when we went but we were still able to go check it out. I cannot wait until it's actually open for business and we can come back to experience it in full operation mode.

Yelp
What a beautiful place and experience! I've been wine tasting in Elgin/Sonoita before, but this place must be new and is AMAZING. The architecture of the building is amazing; it's open on one side to the east so you get a great view of the vineyard and surrounding hills. The wine and the service were both EXCELLENT. When you look online they recommend that you book/schedule a reservation. At the time, I was like, "yeah, I don't do that." It's hard to say exactly when you will be there. But now I understand why. It's a small place, and they want to keep things flowing evenly, which I totally get (now). Luckily, it must not have been a super busy Sunday and they were able to work us in, and honestly, I think they gave us the best table in the house. :-) My new favorite place in Elgin! Can't wait to go back in the summertime when everything is leafed out and green. And yes, I absolutely support businesses in Arizona that are dog friendly.
google avatar

Sofia G.

Yelp
My friends and I went to Los Milics Vineyards in Elgin for the first time and it was breathtaking. The architecture, the scenery, wine, and small plates were all worth it! This winery is definitely aesthetically pleasing and has great vibes. Reservations are recommended, especially on Saturdays since it's their busy day. Walk-in are welcomed but there's limited seating. My friends and I were walk-ins on a Saturday, luckily we were seated right away since we arrived at 11am right when they opened.
google avatar

Yelp
Delightful and delicious! We got the tasting of food and wine and could not be happier with the food and the service. The venue is gorgeous......Sonoma style earthy informal elegance and class. The ambience has vast room for improvement. There was a table next to us that were hideously loud and the acoustics here are concert quality. Really took away from the experience. But the server was delightful and suggested a delightful poached pear dish that wasn't even in the menu. Overall a lovely time and we would definitely come here again.

Sharon R.

Yelp
We went for dinner and it took an hour and a half to get our meal. The lamb chops were so tuff you couldn't eat them. The service wasn't good either. I would would give them a 1 out of 5. They were also very expensive. Get a new chef and more cooks.

Camille N.

Yelp
Excellent view (very beautiful, high end place)but more importantly the service was a 10++ (our server was Alejandra and she was absolutely wonderful), the food amazing and the wine we drank (Lorenzo) was spectacular

Julie T.

Yelp
I stayed at Los Milics for two days and two nights (in one of the casitas), and loved my experience there. The tasting room is a beautiful, modern space that is complemented so nicely by the serene backdrop of the mountain known as The Biscuit. Both the food and wine from the tasting room were excellent. The casita we stayed in offered upscale comforts, from the very cool bed that came down from the ceiling (!) to the great complimentary snacks and wine that greeted us upon our arrival. To be able to sleep right next to the vines that churn out award-winning wine was surreal. Upon waking up, we loved having our Keurig coffee in bed while we took in the beautiful sunrise behind The Biscuit. High recommend!!
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
Scenic and modern tasting room. Wine tastings are pre-selected and offer a good variety. There's also a small food menu and we ordered the Spanish bruschetta plate which was great. Service was great too.

Amy D.

Yelp
I will start with a positive note. My friend and I stayed in the a casita on property. The views are beautiful, but there are signs of warning of snakes everywhere. We enjoyed the wine, yes, the food is very pricey and there is a 20% tip already calculated no matter what kind of service you receive. The tasting room menu (no food after 4pm) was good, but the dinner menu lacked options. We opted for the beef ribs, since there wasn't any other options that we cared for. It was inedible. We forced ourselves to eat it because we had been drinking wine all day. The next day, we left property and had lunch in town and went to Rune for wine tasting and a snack from there. I hate to be negative, but for what we were paying to be there, we looked forward to having a delicious meal for dinner.
google avatar

Greg O.

Yelp
Good red wines. If you can i recommend sitting near the edge on the outside area. The view is like a movie screen, from your peripheral vision you see the walls and ceiling and then a great mountain view with grape vines up close.
google avatar

Isabella J.

Yelp
A gorgeous a new addition to the wineries in Sonoita. As others have mentioned, setting is stunning. Los Milics bring a more modern vibe to the Sonoita wine country. Taste in wine is subjective, so that's up to you to decide. But I recommend a visit here for the overall vibe, which is fabulous. They also have a menu with small bites, which is another plus, since options are limited in the area. This is definitely a must on your visit to the area.
google avatar

Mary N.

Yelp
This was my 5th wine tasting location to visit in Sonoita and 1st time sat at a table with a server. It is fancier than we expected and a more bougie vibe. I prefer places where I can roam around the grounds but was glad to have this experience. Peppers and potatoes were awesome. View was incredible. Architecture amazing. Our server was very knowledgable and friendly. Wine had brett flavor that isn't my fav hence loss of a star. Also tasting was $25 and they did not give us a glass, unlike other vineyards in the area. More expensive so this location would be better for a visit by itself rather than part of a vineyard hop.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 12:30 and arrived earlier from our road trip and they were able to get us in. Much appreciated. The food was great but I have a few suggestions for next time. Maybe prioritize the people that are at your establishment over the dogs. We were surprised at how many dogs (at least 4) were able to be seated inside. Some were being held up and on the benches...just unsanitary when people are eating and drinking. Speaking of unsanitary, our server dropped the wine screw top on the floor, picked up and then placed it back on the bottle. My mother in law discovered that she preferred the white wine vs the other wines during our tasting. for her last 2, I asked if she could have the white wine for her last 2 but we were refused since there are no substitutions. Server mentioned it is not her decision but the owners. It was a little shocking as the white wine was less expensive compared the last 2 reds in the tasting. Again, would be nice if the team provided more care and customer service to the people vs the pets.

Yelp
This place is a must see and have a tasting when in the Sonoita area. Very good wine and the space is awesome. The nosh plate is perfect during tastings

Yelp
Los Milics just took the lead for my favorite winery in Arizona! The first thing you will notice is the amazing design of the outside! You walk in and notice the inside is just as beautiful, if not more! THEN, you're hit with the hospitality of the Milics familia & BOOM, the experience just went way up! The wines they are serving up are sure to please the most finiky wine connoisseur! The tapas Chef Ana is serving are five-star. They take reservations for groups of 6 or more. My favorite part? Getting a beautiful view of the grasslands and the Mustang Mountains, especially when their beautiful doors are open to the breathtaking landscape, while tasting an even more beautiful wine! Come & bring your guests! You'll love it.
google avatar

Jolinda B.

Yelp
Last time we were here they were still constructing, the dining and tasting area. Which has turned out to be gorgeous! The property overlooks the vineyard and the mountain range. This was our last stop on the tour. I think we each had a glass of the Tempranillo.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
Top notch customer service, and wine - we had an amazing time here! 5 of us girls stopped in for a girls birthday/day trip. We didn't have reservations, but we were happily accommodated! They even offered us a table where we could look out at the grapes as soon as it opened. We did the 5 wine tasting, we all loved all of the wines so much that we couldn't decide! The sommelier told us about each wine, and came over to check on us and give us our next pour regularly. We also tried the chocolate pudding, it came with a divine little sugar cookie, and the pudding was fantastic! They brought us 5 spoons, so we could all take a taste! It's gorgeous inside, beautiful paintings, and seating areas, and a nice view of the vineyard - I would love to have the place to myself one day, and just sit in here with a book and some wine in the rain! Will definitely be back to try that amazing looking charcuterie board!
google avatar

Yelp
Snotty! Just one gal - a server that "greeted" us. People travel too far to be treated that poorly. Good luck. (10/14/23)
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Truly the best place in the neighborhood. if I could buy the pizza sauce by the jar I would!!! The wine is also amazing! Xx

Rowdy R.

Yelp
Awesome place to go! Went with my fiancé and dad yesterday and the food and wine were amazing. Let alone the service and view from the dining area/ Tasting area
google avatar

janie s.

Yelp
Fascinating architecture, fabulous views, incredible cuisine and fantastic wines along with impeccable service make Los Millics a destination. Altho I live in Sonoita I look for excuses to come here and have a glass of wine or a dessert or do the entire wine tasting experience again along with the fabulous grazing plates that are entire meals if so desired . This is my new mini getaway .
google avatar

Stan F.

Yelp
Well, had high expectations. Made a reservation for 6. Thought we'd be getting a tasting and small plate for $20. Not the case. They zero out your $20. You start over. Okay. Place is beautiful. 10 stars for the venue. Not as intimate as other tasting rooms. No 1 on 1 conversations regarding the wine. Feels more like a wine bar,not conducive to touring the local wineries. We were here for an hour and a half for a tasting. It's just not the experience we were expecting. Will wait until the Casitas open.

Laura G.

Yelp
The whole experience was beyond our expectations. The view was spectacular, food and wine were excellent. We plan to return every time we come back to Sonoita.

Olivia J.

Yelp
My family and I recently visited Los Milics and we had a wonderful time dining on the patio and taking in the gorgeous view! The wine tasting was lovely paired with our food. I had a cheese board and my husband had the burger and fries (which he was blown away by). I was a little hesitant going at first due to the fact that we have 3 young children, but the vineyard was very family friendly. The service was great and I highly recommend making Los Milics high on your wine country priority list.
google avatar

Tessa G.

Yelp
The atmosphere was amazing! It didn't even feel like southern AZ! The wine was good and small plates were filling and tasty.

Yelp
We saw the U.S.A. Today article on wineries and were surprised that an Arizona winery captured 3rd place. So I opted to try Los Milics for my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint. The structure was something you might see in Palm Springs. It was truly gorgeous. The tasting provided five specific wines which I appreciated. I am not an expert so allowing the winery to use their expertise and then the chef to pair small dishes for the select wines was tremendous. Suffice it to say that there will be one or more wines you will love. We took home four of the five chosen for us. The food, however, was out of this world. I have seen some comments criticizing the food. My only thought is that they really had no idea what the food was so they had a bias against it. The entirety of the five dishes we selected were delicious but within each dish there were individual tastes that are indescribably good, I do not think you can go wrong picking any dish the small plates list. The panna cotta with wine reduction was beyond perfect. Go there. Go there now. You will not regret it.

They need to update their hours online. Online it shows they are open until 9. We showed up at 5pm and were told they close at 5pm by a very unwelcoming employee. The employee was rude and insisted I must be looking at the Scottsdale location, I told her no I was looking at the correct location and showed her on my phone that it was in fact this location. We won't be back to experience this winery.
