Los Olvidados is a cool café with a Santa Fe vibe and a carefully, curated collection for the five senses. At every turn, each corner was thoughtfully composed.
The menu has enough variation to keep you interested but not too much to thrust you into executive dysfunction. Given the heat during our visit, we ordered from the aguas frescas section: El Quetzal y Pura Pasión. They were fresh and pulpy. You could see the natural separation of the fiber and juice. Perfectly refreshing.
As you wait, you can browse their music selection, vintage T-shirts or just take in the music playing overhead. The tables are separated into sections creating intimacy despite the large openness of the building. As an introvert who dislikes congregate seating, that’s always a plus.
Judging by the many stickers under the counter, it seems this place has many visitors and is well-loved. I hope it stays that way for many years to come.
