While many of the Texas Trail vineyards/wineries have popped up over the last few years, there have been many that either just have service as lackluster at best or wine of the same. Not this place.
Look...I am not a wine expert but I do know what we like,,,my wife likes the sweet wines () and I prefer the deeper reds. This place caters to both palettes..
Let's talk experience first, for if you are reading this, you realize that wine is not about whats in the glass, but who pours it.
Tommie is an absolute ambassador for this place...we were met at the front door (no reservation needed) and greeted us with a firm handshake and smile. Already off to a great start.
Tommie actually asked us about our likes and dislikes...listed very well, and recommended various options that both myself and my wife might prefer.
Tommie also poured short samples for my wife to try (all sweet options) and she landed on a couple.
We were not doing a flight, but Tommie (as well as others from the winery) routinely checked on us, brought out additional options, and made us feel like family,
This is the way it should be.
Signed up on the spot for their wine club...great value and the excuse to show up more.
You will not be disappointed..give 'em a try.
