I got the adobada plate with corn tortillas and an El Diablo burrito. While it looked good, with big portions, the food was unfortunately just okay for me. The plate was not very flavorful and while the adobada tasted fine, it was not hot at all when I ate it (within 10 minutes of getting it). Their guacamole tastes fresh, but once again lacks enough flavor for me. The refried beans were strangely dry and tasted bland. The corn tortillas were unfortunately very tough and not very soft but they look homemade and taste fine.
Similarly, the burrito was just fine, but it wasn't that spicy, which is disappointing. We did ask what was in it, and it seems the only spice comes from sriracha sauce which is already extremely mild of a hot sauce. So we didn't expect it to be that spicy, but I wish they would make an actual "El Diablo" burrito that's actually spicy....for Mexican food.
The highlights of this place is definitely the salsa. Their green salsa is delicious and packs a punch. It's very spicy and it made my plate much more enjoyable. The red salsa is a more tomato based one, which was refreshing and sweet but not very spicy. Their customer service is also good, guy at the counter was very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our food.
