"Long before Brazilian rodizio steakhouses became ubiquitous in Miami, Nicaraguans held down the fort when it came to fancy Latino-style palaces of beef—and none more so than Los Ranchos, which has been a local institution since 1981. The original location on 107th Avenue in Sweetwater (now sadly closed) was not only a place where Miami’s Nicaraguan community could sample a taste of home, but also a community center where refugees displaced by the Sandinista regime discussed their homeland’s politics. Los Ranchos currently has three locations in Miami, including one at Bayside Marketplace. The menu includes traditional favorites, like carne asada, as well as more creative dishes, like emerald fish, which is drenched in a creamy spinach sauce." - carlos c olaechea
Los Ranchos Steakhouse Review - Hialeah - Miami - The Infatuation
"Long before Brazilian rodizio steakhouses became ubiquitous in Miami, Nicaraguans held down the fort when it came to fancy Latino-style palaces of beef - and none more so than Los Ranchos, which has been a local institution since 1981. The original location on 107th Avenue in Sweetwater (now sadly closed) was not only a place where Miami’s Nicaraguan community could sample a taste of home, but also a community center where refugees displaced by the Central American nation’s Sandinista regime discussed their homeland’s politics in addition to their situation in their new city. Los Ranchos currently has three locations throughout Miami, including one at Bayside Marketplace - perhaps the only restaurant worth checking out in this otherwise generic tourist destination. The menu includes traditional favorites, like carne asada, as well as more creative dishes, like Emerald fish, which is drenched in a creamy spinach sauce." - Carlos C Olaechea

Good eatery. Specialty in Nicaraguan food. Steaks and gallo pinto. Also Queso Frito. Our waiter, young guy with glasses, very good. Inside the mall. Very simply decorated. Bar inside as well.

I went here twice. I guess the first time I didn't record the food. The second time I ate in and recorded the food. I ordered the Churrasco Presidente pictured below. The steak came with vegetables and a side salad. I ordered a espresso after that. Cafe La Llave. The food was pretty good. I like the chimichurri sauce definitly a good stop. There are plenty pictures of the menu. This is at Westland Mall in Hialeah. I do recommend

Excellent Nicaraguan styled steakhouse the barbecued ribs are fall off the bone good the flavors of the meat and seasonings were perfectly married and from the minute you enter until the time you leave you are a special diner because the staff makes you feel that way our waiter was a brilliant gentleman who knew exactly what combo of foods went well with each other.

We have been going to Los Ranchos for a while, the service is great and the food is amazing. It was a good suprise to have live music on Fridays. Great experience!

Good location at the entrance of Westland Mall in Hialeah, FL. Food taste and quality is still good, but lost the old glamor, and table decoration is mediocre, considering the dishes prices, I would expect better.
