Great food, excellent atmosphere. Service is a little on the slower side and each time that we have been there usually takes a little longer than I like to wait for a refill and I think the server may have forgotten a couple of times. Don’t let that discourage you from giving it a try, like I said we have had plenty of items off the menu and have never been disappointed.

Delicious food. The star of the show was the Chile Verde Cheese Dip. That's a meal in itself. Their refried beans are really good compared to many restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

#17 was very tasty today. Ummm good. Also, Tostada de Veggie…. Yes! (On a previous visit: Yay! Tasty Mexican food! Chips and salsa were great. Service was great. New fav!)

I've been coming here with my family for ages and never faced any problems. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently great. I usually stick to the wet burrito, but this time I tried the al pastor quesadilla, and it was incredibly fresh, loaded with cheese, and packed with a good amount of meat and, it was MASSIVE!

Great Food! Got the #11 Combo which included a shredded beef crispy taco, a cheese chile relleno, a shredded beef enchilada with rice and beans. Everything tasted great. The shredded beef is excellent. Even the rice and beans were great. Highly recommend!

Food is great but service just hasn't been the past few months.. service used to be better before then now. Workers used to serve salsa chips with the to go order they no longer do that. Sometimes ordering the wet burrito they don't always pack it wet with melted cheese on top.. over the past times I've gone you can see how more disappointing into their food from the burrito to beans not having cheese anymore..

An interesting little Mexican food place across the from the town hall. We happened to find this place while we were driving by and shopping in the area. They have a Decorative layout inside with skulls and everyone wore jerseys for their football teams. The service was great and they always checked on us. We ordered few combo plates, the prices were not too bad. The food was okay but very greasy and very messy. Some of the food was also cold on the inside and made me wonder if it was microwaved. It’s okay if you want some cheap Mexican sit down food.

This place is the way a Mexican restaurant should look and taste. The design inside is clean and feels like a true family Mexican restaurant. Too many places have lost the feel. We watched the food as it when by for other tables. It all looked so amazing. It made choices difficult. We started with house margaritas and they were amazing with their chips and salsa. Salsa again is real Mexican tasting salsa with great ingredients and flavor. When we finally decide what we want we order an additional margarita but ask for a shot of Grand Marnier to make it a Cadillac. It was perfect. Our server was great and helpful. The service was fast and very efficient. Soon the food came out and it presented just like all the other great meals we had seen go by. Served hot and looked authentic Mexican. We each loved our meal. The 4 star rating explanation. Everything was rated at 5 star. The food, service and atmosphere all 5 star. But then the bill. I too as so many others dislike an automatic tipping process. A tip is earned. I honestly have had service that deserves no tip. The service here was great and would have earned a 20% tip, I just don’t like it being demanded is the right way to go. So I overall dropped the the 5 ⭐️ to a 4 ⭐️. The honest thing I did notice on the check was they put a heart on the tip line of the bill so you don’t unknowingly double tip by not looking at the bill.

Hidden gem... Had lunch here after an appt. Very cute interior. Place is clean. Our waitress was great. Food was delicious. Had chili verde plate & chicken plate. Will definitely be back

This place has really really gone down on food and service quality. This use to be our favorite but went there yesterday and had one waiter serving at least 10 tables. Horrible service and my meat burrito was nothing but beans and tons of cheese and tortilla, very little meat. For 16.00 it was horrible. This place has cut down on servers and quality of food. We don't plan on going there again.

I had heard of this place but we never had the opportunity to try it until our daughter was in surgery at the hospital up the road. Went took advantage of the lunch specials, which had a generous amount of food for a reasonable price. It was excellent food. The salsa was mild, so I asked for something spicy which they brought out right away. While the food was really good, we had a hard time getting our check so that we could pay and get back to the hospital! I'd love to go back and try it again!

The best part about my visit today was Arturo! He is the bus boy! He really helped pick up the slack for the waiter. I really wanted to give my tips to him because the waiter was busy with other tables and Arturo was the one who brought me Extra salsa and napkins etc. so without Arturo there I would've been pretty irritated and probably would've not given such a great review :-) so I wanted to make sure that you guys notice him for that he was super sweet. Let's talk soon! The only thing that I would change would be a little less heat on the salsa or provide a chipotle salsa option. The chips were great I'm very happy to have chips and my waiter did get my beverage. So I was able to munch on chips and a drink while waiting to get my order taken. Little bit long on that but I understand because there is a couple tables in a party that had come in. I got a Moscow mule it was OK as far as flavoring goes but wow it made me feel great! So whoever makes them it was not too strong the flavoring was not too strong but really put me in a very comfortable mood so I'll have to go back and see what kind of vodka that was! so hack off to the bartender! I ordered the smartest items at a huge menu that they have! So I'm really loving the options on the menu there were so many to choose from! The flan was very expensive is like 10 bucks so I didn't get it just normally go to to try out for dessert. I got the sample platter! It had some what does and a couple taquitos and some quesadilla and had a lot of different little mixtures but the main star of the show was this tomatillo bang with cheese on it in the middle.! So everything was about 50 bucks which was a little heavy for being charged a dollar for extra cilantro. But I understand these days with Restaurant but I would've liked to see a little lower pricing on the flan because dessert should be fine not expensive :)) I definitely have leftovers for probably the next two days! So I would definitely suggest the sample platter and I ordered a side of rice and beans. I enjoyed this location very much!!! I would definitely be back :-)

Greedy greedy restaurant, you're not good you're only good for the area you're in. Don't know why this restaurant and their owners are so greedy and rude. Its amazing. They give you uncooked tortilla in their to go orders and when you call, because it's basically mush and can't hold it up the burrito without it falling over, they act stupid and say that's just how it is supposed to be. They serve there piping hot rice and beans in a cheap styrofoam containers that literally warp and melt into your food by the time you get home. Hey why don't you guys invest in actual foil to go containers I mean your food cost enough, I'm sure you can afford it. They don't care about their customers because they been around so long they know they will always have customers. Hate this place. ( used to be a favorite)

It is sad to see how much this place has declined. Their food used to be great and there used to be value for the money. Now they skimp on things and charge a service fee which does not even fully go to the servers. They no longer give chips and salsa on takeout. They no longer do online ordering. Today their phone lines are down. I think we're done with this place.

Chaotic... Loud Latin rock music... crowds of people trying to communicate with each other over the loud music... sounds of chairs and tables being drug across the concrete floor to accommodate large groups... it certainly was not a relaxing Sunday brunch. The service was ok. It took a while to get our food... two orders of Menudo. I thought there was always a big pot of it cooking in the back on weekends and all they had to do was serve it. The food was good but VERY expensive. $51.94 for two bowls of Menudo and two soft drinks. Our check included mandatory 20% service fee. Yikes! I don't think I'll be coming back.

Service was awful today. Server was so unhappy to serve us. She forgot most of our order. She was mad the entire time. It was so slow. She made the margaritas In the kitchen which we felt was odd. Service was awful last time so we took a break. It was worse today

The food and service are excellent! We have been going here for years and it always hits the spot.

We sat in the bar for about 45 minutes waiting for our food. Only to find out that the bartender forgot to put it in. No drinks or appetizers were comped. Wasted 45 minutes of my day and I will never go back there! Horrible service!!!

We have eaten here in the past and the food and service were good. First off tonight was horrible and I'm sad to say we will never return. We got seated pretty quickly but it took a while for someone to come over. When we got our food my order was completely wrong. They did get it fixed pretty quickly. When they delivered the plates out they just kind of throw them on the table and leave and I have to say the Manager was the one that delivered the food. Never asked if we needed anything else or how things were. The taste of the food is not as I remember either the beans had no taste and over all the experience was not a pleasant one.

A 3+ rating this time, one year after my last review which was excellent. Food wasn't as good. Chicken was dryer than last time. Still plentiful. As most, prices are higher. They even add Business administrative charge of 20%. Service was good but the recorded Mexican rap music was so annoying and too loud, made it hard to have a decent conversation. They used to have a nice ambiance before with appropriate guitar background music. I doubt we will go back as there are many other choices for Mexican food.

I've been here multiple time but felt compelled to write a review this time. Amazing restaurant. Evan the server came over and helped us when our server had an emergency with no questions asked. Amazing customer service. The food (chili verde burrito) was absolutely delicious. Spoke to the manager, Willy, to let him know he runs a great establishment. Fav Mexican restaurant in the area!

Leaving this review breaks my heart. Our family used to love Los Reyes as our go to Mexican Restaurant...until today. The quality of the food has diminished significantly. The service (though the servers are all wonderfully nice) is not what it used to be. The abandoned tables of full-ish plates of food, the emptiness of the dining area tells a story. There has been a decline in service and quality where we just can't ignore it anymore. When you are paying premium prices for sub par food and service...you have to assess things. My assessment: NEVER AGAIN. We have dined here and at La Cocina (Temecula) for the last time. The quality, service and prices are unjustifiable for what you actually receive. We will miss the servers who have come to know us, but we (as a family business who understands family business) can't bring ourselves to support this business again.

Since I live in Wildomar I decided to give this place a try. It was packed during lunch time which could be a good sign. They had good music playing and they serve chips and salsa. By the look of the salsa I thought it wasn't going to be good but it actually was. The waitress was friendly but very busy. I tried the cucumber martini. It was ok but I definitely had better. My second drink was the Cinco De Mayo house margarita. It was a good size, good taste, and was strong. Myself and kids order d different items. The food was ok. I expected more from this place. My son had a carne asada burrito. It didn't have any flavor and the meat taste old. The rice was hard so I didn't care for it. I tried a mini chimichanga with shredded beef. If you up grade to soup with your meal you can only get chicken tortillas soup. It was very bland, with no flavor, with what seemed like left over chicken from another day. Do not order this. This was about the only good thing we tried. A lot of the staff wasn't too friendly. I'm glad our waitress was. I definitely won't be back. I don't mind traveling elsewhere to get good Mexican food.

Food alone I would give it 4 stars but the service was awful! No one came to check how our meal was. We weren't offered water. I asked for lemon to go with my tortilla soup and they never came. We were not asked how our meal was at the end or told thank you. It was a bad experience all around.

Stopped in for dinner last night and they had a festive Christmas cocktail menu that we enjoyed! The Mistletoe Margarita and Cinnamon Spiced Martini were delicious! We asked our host for recommendations and was told of the Enchiladas and Tostada selections. I ordered the combination of both with beef and chicken for each. The chicken enchilada mixed in with the rice and beans hit the spot for me! The beef had an after taste I didn't find tasty. It allowed me to know what meat choices I preferred for the next time we visit. Their menu had a variety of entree items to choose from and all looked good to me. I look forward to trying other menu items! The restaurant is located in the back end of the Albertsons grocery store complex, sort of hidden behind the t-mobile store. There's a small outdoor patio seating area that joins the front door entrance. The inside dining area is warm and welcoming. Culturally decorated and festive for the holidays. Open and airy, with lots of room to move with the number of tables spread out in the restaurant. The staff who hosted us were friendly and very informative with their menu items. They made our visit a pleasant one! What I found most interesting is that they don't expect to tip, in fact, they crossed off the tip line on our bill. They do charge a service/gratuity fee automatic (as many restaurants have since the pandemic, so it's not surprising and was expected). Other places I've been to automatically charge a service fee and sometimes still expect a tip, this place did not and removed the tip line.

Been a couple of times and the service has always been great. The food is always great and they do their best to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They USED to include a 20% service fee due to COVID but that has been removed. So if that was something you were worried about, there's no need.

I came with a friend and we ended up walking out. The girl at the front took forever to seat us, and let alone even acknowledge us. After about 10-15 minutes she said she would seat us in a moment. We waited, she came and finally set us up at our seat. After a few minutes of being seated in the back, no one came to services us, and we finally got up and left. PS, we went to Angelo's Pizza across the way, and it was Awesome!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area by far. They have great chips and salsa, good drinks, and we have always had good service every time we go. Food is authentic and delicious. Some of my favorite dishes: Quesadilla chapala Garlic lime chicken salad Camarones a la diabla Enchiladas tapatias (served sizzling on fajita veggies!!) Tacos Los Reyes The only thing I wish is that they still had their taco tuesday special! The little street tacos were delicious and it was a fun casual night there.

First time here. Delicious! Totally smaller on the inside than what I expected, but that made for far better service. Staff was quick and attentive. Unsure what to order, wait staff said if I didn't like what I ordered, they'd make something else, on them. Really put me at ease. Went with tacos (after all, cant lose) and they were amazing. Stuffed full of meat (chicken for me), plenty of cheese (yum, and not fake yellow cheese), and tortilla was fried FRESH for my order. Rice and beans, always a staple, were quite good. Very generous with the chips and salsa while we waited for our order, even got a free soda (we all love free things). Will be going back, maybe too often, but hey, there's a gym right across the parking lot. Try it, you'll like it.

We have been her before and was happy with the food and service however we where there today and was completely disappointed We have ordered their version of queso fundito and they allowed substitutions because their version has pork They completely refused and frankly were rude about it, every question we asked was no, I literally just asked to put the pork on the side NO management won't allow it no where on the menu did it say no substitutions we paid for our drinks and left very disappointing

I love this place! The service is great and so is the food. They do charge 20%, but I have no problem paying for good service and I've always gotten that here. I see people complaining about how the break up the 20% tip, yet the servers I've seen working here have been here for years, so if they aren't bothered I'm not sure why it's concerning other people. Great ambiance, will for sure be back.

I placed order to go. I was very disappointed when I asked for salsa they said the crispy tacos already had salsa and there will be extra charge. Which I find so tacky and cheap. I ate my tacos dry with a teaspoon of salsa provided and didn't enjoy. It leaves a dour taste in my mouth to even come back here. Mexican food as we already know the salsa is the cheapest thing you can make. The two ladies that helped acted like they are that ones buying everything to make the salsa. I paid 16dls for two crispy tacos expensive.

Sadly I feel they charging the 20% service fee has made the service sub par... the waitresses don't care anymore... they know they get a guaranteed tip... this service model shows people work and care for a tip

The service was very busy yet efficient, and the environment was well-organized and clean. I ordered the wet burrito with beans and rice. The free chips and salsa were fresh and enjoyable. Both the beans and rice were of high quality, which made my overall dining experience better. However, I found the guacamole to be somewhat lacking; it could benefit from adding a little lemon juice and salt to improve its flavor. Additionally, I was somewhat disappointed with the wet burrito, as it tasted more like mole sauce instead of the expected chili rojo or chili verde sauce. Overall, while there were some positive aspects to my meal, I believe there is room for improvement in certain areas.

FYI if you are reading this and you are looking for a place where you can get great al Pastor tacos a la carte , try el Rey Mexican restaurant on Bundy Canyon Road across the street from the high school

It was our first visit to Los Reyes Bar & Grill. Our server David was attentive and explained the menu to us throughly. We enjoyed their tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, beans, and rice. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine, Los Reyes Bar & Grill is the place to try. I definitely will be revisiting.

Came here on a whim one evening after my "JnC" buddy got off work. We both had never been here before and just wanted to grab a quick drink. He was in the area already and when I met him there, we saw this place across the way and decided to try it out. It's located off the 15 fwy, near the Albertsons shopping center at the Clinton Keith exit. Lots of parking available. As we walked to the entrance, we weren't sure if they were allowing indoor or outdoor dining. They did have a tent set up nicely right outside the doors with tables, chairs and heat lamps. When we got in, we were pleasantly surprised that they were allowing both indoor and outdoor dining. Since it was a chilly night, we opted to dine in. The lady seated us in a booth right away. Once we were seated, we ordered his jack and coke, and my mojito. They serve complimentary tortilla chips with salsa which was nice. We both dove into the salsa and agreed it definitely has a bit of a kick! Shortly after we got our drinks, our server informed us that we had to order food. We weren't really hungry so we looked for the cheapest thing on the menu and ended up with their guacamole. When she brought it to us, it looked great and was pretty fresh, but I felt it was lacking a bit in flavor. I asked for some lemon wedges to wake it up. Magic!! Lol Note to self: smuggle some Tajin when going to a Mexican restaurant in case they don't have any! That would have really blown it up! We had no complaints about the drinks. =) Service was a bit slow for them not being busy on a weeknight. They were all wearing masks and the restaurant is covid prepped with plexiglass barriers separating the booths. I knocked off a star due to the somewhat slow service and because we didn't get to experience any of the entrées from their menu. Other than that, I would come back for sure.

Food was great! If this review was based off of food and food alone it's getting 4.5-5 stars all day. This fixated tip is an issue because now the experience isn't based on performance it's based on an owner not willing to pay their employees what their worth so they force a 20% service charge aka tip. While I generally tip 20-25% on every bill I also don't like rewarding poor service. Come here for lunch, place is pretty much empty. Drinks, appetizers relatively quick, again food was good. Refills were non existent my appetizer came out I had crumbs left for chips and they were not replaced. Then I asked for the check and that was another 15 minutes until it came back. This is lunch people in and out. I could see it being slow because it was packed but there were only a few people there no big parties. Between here and the temecula location I'm moving on

My son and I ordered takeout since I flat refuse to pay his 20% tip policy for dining in. I ordered a 2 taco combo and steak fajitas with peppers and onions only. I asked for extra salsa for our meal and chips and was yold they don't give out chips anymore so did I want a large or small salsa. I responded a large. My son was there to pick it up and the bill was over $50.00! I called him and told him to get a refund for the $10.00 salsa ! He got home and the fajitas were full of zucchini, tomatoes which I hate cooked, and mushrooms which I'm allergic to. I called back and told them what they had sent which was inedible to me. She refunded my dinner that I couldn't eat. Please don't eat there If the owner is that cheap, he needs to fold and let a decent establishment in there. Guadalajara in Temecula is worth the drive a.d doesn't nickle and dime you!

We had not been to this restaurant in many years after our first visit the food just seemed blah. I'm happy to report the food we were served this past weekend was excellent. I had fajitas with giant pieces of shrimp in it. We ordered the El Jefe which was also delicious. The service was very fast. It was not loud inside the restaurant and there was no additional charges on our check. Seems like management is checking reviews to see possibly why there was a drop off in customers and are making changes as needed. I will definitely be back here again.

2nd time visiting this restaurant. Decided to give a non impressive experience one more shot.. Maybe 10 people here at 7pm on in a Saturday night. Bad sign. Ordered the Carne asada So tough I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. Enchilada and beans were really tasty. Waiter couldn't have been more apologetic. The big surprise, however, came with the check. There was a 20% service fee added, much to my surprise. Wth??? Asked the waiter and he pointed to a little table tent in the corner of the table that I was supposed to read, I guess. I've attached a picture. When I asked the waiter what his share of this fee was, he said he gets about 12%. This is just shady. It's not like the costs were kept low and this fee made up the difference. The unedible steak was $22.00. No. They're screwing their staff out of decent tips and doing who knows what with the rest. Pffft. I won't be back. Be warned, read the fine print!!

The food is awesome the atmosphere is one reason we love coming here. The staff are all always very welcoming but Timothy always makes it amazing, what a man. Here almost every Friday.

WOW! In writing this review I just noticed that it has 3.4 stars,you have to work really hard to get a 3 star review and now I understand why! The food is good but that's where it ends. The issue is the way that they run this restaurant, they nickel and dime you and they will not make ANY special requests at all to the menu. For a start, they automatically charge you a 20% service fee regardless of how good or bad the service is and it's hit and miss, normally a miss. I just spent almost $50 on a meal to go and they would not include the normal, complementary chips and salsa that if you were to eat in they would provide an unlimited amount, they wanted to charge me for it,$10!!!. A few months ago during their Taco Tue specials I requested some consume for their Biria Tacos, nope they can't give you a small cup of consume!!! And finally I was on a special diet and I requested a few pieces of lettuce, 3 to be exact to wrap the tacos in instead of tortillas, guess what, nope we can no longer do that either. When I questioned the manager her response is the same every time, that's our policy, pretty much take it or leave it. So if you want decent food and if you are ok with paying a 20% tip with mediocre service and zero accommodations in regard to even the smallest request then this is the place for you.

We have been coming here since they opened and love their food, very authentic and consistent quality. We went there Sunday and ordered the combination plates, 2 enchiladas with rice and beans and were shocked at the price which was $20.99 each. I realize that prices have increased due to inflation but in my personal opinion this is very expensive for lunch. the service was great as usual and the food was good, however the price is way too high.

The server was very rude, the environment was very dirty, the food gave me food poisoning, and was to expensive.

Service is extremely slow. There are no people to greet or sit waiting customers. Forget call in orders.

My wife and I have been going to this place every week for over a year. Always served by Tim at the bar and he's always friendly and welcoming. In return I always tip well. Then tonight, there's a wait for the bar. I tell the small girl with an attitude at the door we want the bar. A high-top table opens up along with 3 chairs at the bar. We think we are about to be seated. Then a man walks passed us, talks to attitude girl, walks into the bar, motions to Tim he wants a place for 4 people, and he sits these narcissistic scum at the bar and they take one chair from the high-top table, rendering it useless. I tell attitude girl and of course she interrupts with her attitude and says the man just sat there without telling her and there's nothing she can do. I ask attitude girl for the manager and an equally inept man approaches me and identifies himself as the "manager." This, "manager" claims there's nothing he can do. He doesn't tell the narcissist that we were waiting ahead of him for the bar. He doesn't attempt to sit us in the dining room or offer us any explanation as to why he'd allow the narcissists to sit wherever they want ahead of us. He just stares at me and does nothing. Stay away from this place. The prices are high and the food is just ok. We still went due to convenience and Tim. But now he, the attitude girl and the "manager" combined efforts proved they don't care about regular customers. Terrible attitude from the little girl they employ followed by a man that has no idea how to manage a damn thing followed by an empty apology from Tim. STAY AWAY. THEY WILL SCREW YOU TOO.

Starts off with the guy seating us dropping the chips on the table from about 9" up and then the salsa as well. Salsa goes everywhere, It's on us and all over the table. He says sorry, brings a few napkins and we had to ask him to wipe the table off. The waitress was great and the service was good. Food was also good with the chili relleno being the star. Of course other than the top few chips being whole the rest were no larger than 1" crumbs. Next is the bill. We are handed the bill and there is a 20% charge for service fees. My uncle was paying and thought the server deserved a 25% tip but because of this money grab he left nothing extra. Every other restaurant in the world put the fees in the price of the food. The prices of the food are already on par or higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area so this is obviously just a money grab by the owners. This is ridiculous and we(my friends and family) will not be supporting this type of business.

This place is a joke... food is mediocre and the service is worse. On top of that they want to charge you a service fee? Lmaooo 60% goes to the servers (for what? Not doing their jobs?) 40% goes to the business... for employees benefits and business cost... isn't that why you price your food and beverages to cover all these costs? Total scam. Then they ask you to leave once you pay? Save your money and go somewhere better.

Terrible customer service from the host to the waitress, Kim. Long wait for food and drinks. Food was more taco shop than restaurant. Couple of people complaining to who I assume was the manager but she didn't seem to care. Won't be back. Chips and salsa were the highlight.

Food was great ! Waiter was attentive and fast ! But yes 20% added on automatically and for the first time ever in my 50 years we were asked to give up our table because people were waiting ? Host actually sat down by my friend in the seat ? And said can you please wrap up ??

Our server Marley was outstanding. She knew everything that's on the menu and gave great recommendations. We will definitely be back because of her.

One of my family's go to place! On a nice day we sit outside and bring our fur baby. The food is yummy. I enjoy too the happy hour specials.

I feel bad leaving a 3 star review. But feel worse for their staff. We were just in for lunch. Food was great, service was good. 20% mandatory fee with only 60% going to the wait staff and 40% for maintenance fees. This business owner should be ashamed for that. You're taking money out of your servers pockets by doing that. I planned on leaving at least 25% until I saw that nonsense.
