Los Tacos

I love them REAL BAD! I’ve been going to them since their first location. Over 10 years and I’m sitting here eating my tacos and the steak sooooo fresh!! Keep doing a great job guys, even the brother in the back cutting all the meat!

This place here...... delicious, seasoned perfectly, spot on awesomeness. The tacos, the burritos... oh those beans...yummy, the rice, very good. Service is fast, and welcoming. This place is clean, very clean!

The tacos were seasoned well, and very delicious. I will definitely make this a regular stop since I love Mexican food, and it's close to me. The service was great.

This place has few man chefs/cooks and they are very clean and kitchen also nice and clean, food was excellent, I was so hungry and start eating finally figured out I haven’t had a chance to get pictures of food.I’ll visit this place again and again

This was me & my wife first time trying it and it was so good the steak was so flavorful I’ll definitely be back the fries was so good I never had fries wit some type of season on I made it home they was cold but i still ate them no only complain have is get some diet cokes for the pops lol . Oh one more thing I never had a shrimp taco Y’all when I tell y’all that shrimp taco was so damn good. It has so many shrimps in it only thing they put on it is cilantro pico de gallo if I’m not mistaken it’s so flavor it’s not overcooked. I’ll definitely be back.

Always fast flavorful and the food is always hot..I've only eaten the tacos but every time their on point.

I almost went into convulsions wen they were closed over the holidays! The BEST Mexican ove had in a LOOOOOONNNGGHG time! I JUST ordered from there again, and AGAIN it's like they PURPOSELY ignore wat u order! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after 4 times I asked to NOT have hot sauce in my order, and I asked for lime wedges and NOT get lime wedges while watching maybe the owner eating tacos w/ lime, it's starting to seem as if the customer is being ignored! I added to the only AFTER trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I'm going somewhere else now!

Enjoyed the fish sandwich was very good, the taco plate was good as well

Very delish. The beans and rice are a little different from typical Mexican restaurants. However, very very good and different in great way. Fast too. Super fast. Pleasant experience.

Excellent flavor in the El Pastor tacos and the Horchata. Fast and reasonable prices. Very few tables. Most people get cary out.

The only taco place that's pretty close the food here is good for a smaller size place.

Once again I found myself on the hunt for some good food in the nearby area and stumbled upon this place. I had passed it before in the past, but had never thought to go in. A quick review of Yelp gave me all i needed to want to try the food. The restaurant is pretty small, and ideally folks will come in to order take out. There is a counter where you can sit if you choose, but again the area isn't really that big. Ordering your food is kind of awkward because the sign takes up a lot of space so you have to bemd down to see the cashier/waiter or they'll have to bend down to see you (at least if you're tall haha). This place is more of a taquería mixed with a grill. You have your regular taco/torta/burrito options but you also have burgers, pizza puffs, fries etc. Ordering was painless, and I eavesdropped on conversations while I waited haha I ended up ordering two tacos (Carne asada and chorizo) and figured if I liked it that I could come back another day to try more things. When I got back to the office I was excited to try the tacos. They come with 2 tortillas (in case you only like 1 with your tacos),lettuce, cilatro, and onion as well as red salsa. The chorizo was cooked, but not well done (I'm sure you can ask) and the steak is chopped finely. The tacos were good and will definitely do the job. I'll probably be back to try other things

The tacos are great every time. Smaller space but that doesn't bother any. The definition of a hole in the wall. Any item with steak from this place is going to be good. Tortas, tacos, burritos, etc. Most importantly, it's always fresh. Would recommend.

This place is great. Came up on it after looking for a restaurant further west and it was closed. The fish tacos are great. My wife says it's the best chimichanga she has had. Speedy service open kitchen.

Great steak tacos!!! Everytime I crave tacos this is my go to spot. Sauce is made fresh daily so is food that's prepared. Never been disappointed

I love this place. They prepare the food quickly, and their food tastes fresh. I always order either the taco or torta special w/ fries & soda.

With the exception of El Ranchito in Harvey, THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!! First off, I ordered a side of rice which had absolutely no flavor whatsoever! It was literally just like plain white rice! The same goes for the tacos I ordered. As soon as I looked at the beef taco I could see that it had no seasoning at all and sure enough when I took the first bite it didn't. The chicken on the chicken taco tasted like it was a week or more old! One bite and in the garbage it went! Honestly, it didn't even taste like chicken! I need to knock on some doors in the neighborhood and see if anyone's cat is missing! What I want to know is, who payed off the 7 people that wrote a good review of this place! I'm reading some of these other reviews and I'm like, ARE THESE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME PLACE I JUST ATE AT?! I've worked in the area for 20 years and never stopped in this place before, nor have I heard any recommendations by my co-workers for this place. Now I know why! And to add insult to injury, the place is like a freaking cracker jack box! However, I'd be willing to overlook this if the food was worthwhile. Needless to say, I will NEVER be back to this shit hole again.

Lost tacos is the best tacos I've had in Illinois ...period!!!! Jose and Ranaudo are really cool, sometimes they give you free chips and salsa while you wait for your food. The food is A1, Full of flavor and always fresh!!!

This a straight up taco STAND - the only place to sit is the picnic table outside. However the food is AWESOME! Takes me back to South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. If you prefer flour tacos, Taco Bell is down the street. The only thing keeping it from a fifth star, is you never know what they're going to have or not have

Los Tacos is taco stand with amazing flavor. My first visit was on a very cold day in November and I actually stopped at Taco Bell for my hubby....however looking at what my hubby ordered I figured let me grab some extra since the purpose was for me not to cook this particular evening. Now let me be honest I have seen this stand numerous times on Sibley but never stopped but this day I did and I'm happy that I did. I ordered the three taco dinner and you can choose your meat...for us steak and it came with the traditional beans and rice...three regular size tacos with all the typical toppings for 6.99 plus tax not too bad. When I got home and shared the meal with my hubby we could not believe this small joint had some delicious food. The rice is superb never had rice with some much flavor ever! The tacos could used a little bit more meat but again you could get the supreme or ask for more meat pay the up charge...but let me tell you it was DELISH! We will come back to try other items but for now we Might have found new taco spot...definitely worth trip! Oh by the way this is a shack not a eat in restaurant just grab and go unless on a sunny warm day eat outside on the benches...or in the car but take note this is not eat in joint.

I have been driving past this little taco stand going on 5 years now and finally stopped in the other day to give it a try! It was a little dump of a taco stand dump being a good thing! I ordered 1 el pastor and 1 carne asada with hot sauce and just cilantro and onions.Needless to say they were awesome!! Spicy meat, cooked in the traditional way! Service was fast and polite, clean looking place and I will definitely recommend this if your into real street tacos!!
