Where to Stop on the Ribera y Rueda Wine Trail

"This widely-celebrated tapas bar from the Gonzalez brothers near the Plaza Mayor has earned awards for its modern take on tapas, like sweetbreads with garlic, veal and foie gras meatballs, and hake taquitos. Order the Menú Maridaje that features nine of their award-winning tapas like “Obama in the White House,” a wild mushroom and slow-cooked egg dish served in a white dome, all to the tune of €33." - The MICHELIN Guide

Google
Food is great, several different traditional tapas + awarded ones. Obama en la casa Blanca was my favorite. Recommended place!

Google
Interesting tapas bar out of the traditional offer, all of them served very originally as brief story where all tastes are perfectly combined and exceptionally presented. The house Ribera wine was very good as well. On the high price tag for tapas but they are well though and totally different.

Great food. Great service. The gazpacho and salmorejo were yummy. Arroz con bogavante delicious. Pluma de cerdo braseado con salsa de bourbon was exquisite. I recommend the arroz con leche (rice pudding) for dessert. There's a menu during the week that includes dessert.

Food is so cool and amazing. But it’s very busy so try to go early if you can.

Delicious, creative, and fun. We had a great meal of very original tapas and a salad and everything was delicious. Service was courteous and attentive.

Interesting experience for the appearance of the dishes. Tigretoston, breadbag and Obama en la casa blanca were our favorites.

Yelp
Try Las Zagales for the quirkiness! They take tapas and turn them on their head. Truly, a nutty experience that has earned them recognition during the Concurso Nacional de Tapas y Pinchos. I particularly enjoyed the Trigretoston--an inventive twist that was both delicious and fun to eat. The Breadbag was another standout, combining calamares bravos and salsa de ajo picante in a way that was both surprising and satisfying. The atmosphere is lively, making it a great place to enjoy a casual meal with friends. If you're in Valladolid, don't miss out on this gem for some unique and tasty bites!

Yelp
Very nice tapas bar. Several of their Tapas won prizes in the past 10 years and are worth a try. Wine selection is extensive and the service is great.

Yelp
Tigre Toston is a must have; a roll with blood sausage, red onions and cream cheese. Delicious. The McChurro lamb mini burger was also delicious. Tried it a while ago and wasn't impressed since it was overcooked. This time it was cooked to perfection. Also tried their new pincho shaped like a cigar. Very creative and it was quite interesting to be able to dissect and figure out the ingredients. Unfortunately, it failed on flavors for me.
