This restaurant has changed its name and the menu. It's a sort of fixed meal of 6 courses including a pre starter and a mouth cleanser before pudding. All done to the very highest standard and served by a group of three who were very attentive and explained things as we moved along. Not the cheapest but worth it for the experience. 59 Euro per person excluding drinks and a voluntary tip we gave of around 30 Euro. We'll worth it for the experience but not something you could do every day of your break in Paris

We left with a huge smile from this delicious restaurant. Food was truly excellent; the open kitchen is a plus. Thank you to the chef and the staff for taking so good care of us.

If you're not french, this is a great place to try tose scary-sounding plates such as snails and sweetbreads. The quality is superb, the vegetables tasty, and the portions generous. Greetings from México. It was a pleasure!

Having the terrine and escargots we are getting the real french tasty experience! Nice restaurant situated in a neighbourhood surrounded by Japanese and Korean restaurants and dito supermarkets. But here they serve classic french food and staff is friendly. We certainly do lick our fingers with desert, the figs and cardamom gratin were just divine!

Loved our meal tonight! What a pleasant surprise in our neighbourhood, close to our hotel. Very reasonable prices and lovely friendly maître d’ and waiters (they even speak English or help you with your French if you’d prefer to try). We had the Prix fixe dinner for €36 per person for 4 courses (1 cold and 1 hot starter, a main then dessert). All were very generous servings. To start: watercress soup and iberico jamon then smoked salmon with perfect poached egg. Mains: pan fried fish with parsnip mash, rump steak with dauphine potatoes. Dessert: pear tart, meringue with roasted almonds and vanilla custard. You also get a show as you can see into the open kitchen and can watch the chefs and waiters running around. Overall a great experience and would go back when next we visit Paris.

Google
Lovely restaurant, just the right size: personable, attentive and private. Food was excellent, the starters of foie gras and escargots, the main of steak and dessert of strawberries and cream. Well paced meal with attention to the food and dinners. Recommend

I had steak and they bring fries with steak. I really enjoyed the food. I paid total 27 euros. Service was also good. Employees know English.

Yelp
Came by for dinner the other night and it was a phenomenal experience! Being a Michelin Bib Gourmand, I had high expectations! The dining room is air conditioned, which was perfect for the heatwave in Paris! Made a reservation online and my table was ready upon arrival. Being in Europe, the earliest dinner slot was 7 pm... Meal started off with some complimentary biscuits and peanuts. There were daily specials on the wall, along with the regular menu, 100% in French. Some of the staff spoke English, if it was necessary. Started off with the Octopus in olive oil, tomato, celery, fennel cream and it was excellent and world class! The octopus was perfectly cooked, cut vertically (a new one for me) and placed over a bed of fennel cream which was excellent. Super fragrant and the portions were perfect. Moved on to the "Normandy Breed" Beef rib steak, Béarnaise sauce and Désiré potato fries and it was also world class. The beef rib steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, seasoned with simply salt and pepper and the French beef was super tender and flavorful. The steak was a super generous portion too! The potatoes on the side were also excellent, lightly charred. Finished the meal off with arlettes, raspberries, pistachio Madame cream and it was also excellent. There were layers of arlettes with plenty of cream in between along with some fresh raspberries. Service throughout the meal in the simple bistro was great. 68 Euro for dinner.

Yelp
Very professional dinner. The staff made our recent visit almost feel like a family dinner. Nothing was rushed and each dish was well executed. L'Oseille somehow provides exceptional value along with serious quality - really a rarity.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. Food was excellent. It is a Michelin bib gourmet for a good reason. Very good wine selection. We had no reservations and they were full and fully booked but were gracious enough to seat our table of four. Entire meal for four with two bottles of wine was under $75 per person. It is seasonal food prepared in the classical way. Excellent meal.

Yelp
Needed a restaurant near Palais Garnier for dinner after an opera. Made reservations ahead of time at L'Oseille which is about 750m from Palais Garnier. We stepped inside and found a smaller restaurant that was filled with patrons. We were immediately seated. We opted for the Diner a l'Oseille menu, which allows you 1 cold entree, 1 hot entree, plat & dessert for 37 Euros. We started with a bottle of Bordeaux. They sell larger bottles (magnum which is the equivalent to 2 bottles of wine). My selections? Cold entree-Foie gras de canard mi-cuit, compotee de figues de sollies (Duck foie gras w/stewed figs) Hot entree-Mitonnee d'escargots, oreille de cochon (mixed snails w/pig's ears) Entree-Lapin poitou servi en cocotte a la moutarde (rabbit served in mustard casserole) Dessert-oeuf a la neige aux amandes caramelisees The standouts for me were the hot entree and plat. The crispy pig's ears on top were crunchy and salty and a good addition to the snails. My favorite was the classic french dish of rabbit in the mustard casserole dish. This was tender and tasty. Dessert was light, but I was too full to proceed. Service was very good and attentive, yet we never felt rushed to leave although we were one of the last patrons.

Yelp
Our visit was ruined by unprofessional manager. We had a bad experience due to the manager who deducted our money twice. When we paid, the terminal didn't issue a receipt but still debited the money. The manager said we hadn't paid and that it was our problem, threatening to call the police. When I asked if we should pay in cash and stay in touch as their assistance may be required to cancel the transaction, the manager told us that it was only our problem and we should discuss it with the police. We waited for 10-15 minutes for the police, but I insisted on paying in cash because we were in a hurry. We ended up paying for our lunch twice. Obviously, the manager doesn't speak English and has no basic communication skills. Highly disappointed experience and the manager's behaviour was extremely rude!! Upd After contacting the bank, the money was returned and the transaction was canceled; but the experience was inadequate at the restaurant

Yelp
Very good restaurant, perfect if you want to taste French classics with a twist. For starters, we took the salmon (excellent) and foie gras (good but too mainstream). The poched egg was divine ! Then the rumsteack and fish were so tasty and beautifully combined with pommes dauphines and delicate vegetables. Finally, dessert are really surprising : we will not forget the splendid mango pie. Excellent service. Delicious, we spend a really nice dinner there.

Yelp
One of my favorite meals in Europe. The chef's technique with simple ingredients is exceptional. Make sure to try the veal main course, and the cheese assortment for dessert.
