"It’s a salad and sandwich duo for lunch at Lost at Sea, where Pasadena locals can enjoy a meal that looks like a chopped Caesar salad and an Albacore tuna melt with iced tea to wash it down for $15." - Crystal Coser

This place is tucked away from the main drag in Old Pasadena, so you might never notice it. But, the food is spectacular. Every single dish we had here was fantastic. There was not a single one i wouldn't order again. Great variety of flavors, but not overcomplicated. Everyone is head over heels about Union right now but this is my new favorite place in Old Pasadena.

I'd be happy if I was adrift with the "Lost at Sea" crew! The service professional and friendly, menu varied, great wine list and delicious food. The most amazing crudité ever!

Chef Tim Carey is a true talent. Everything on the menu is cooked with an incredible attention to detail - from the flavor to the presentation. The wait staff is very friendly and the wine list is carefully chosen. This is a great place to take a date or treat a friend to a world class meal.

Nice place and great service, the staff was top notch. However, a bit overpriced for just above average food. I had 2 appetizers, the octopus crostini and the coliflower. The coliflower was good but it said with almonds and it barely had 3-4 slivers of almonds and the crostini was ok, I've had better. The wine was nothing to write home about and $16 per glass, I had the Sauvignon Blanc, only one choice, not likely to go back...

Avoid this place. It is so noisy that my companions and I literally could not hear each other. Picnic table funky seating, rude waiters ( He reached in front of me, picked up the fish knife I had moved to a more convenient spot and put it back at the top!!!) "That's a fish knife." Not kidding! And very minimal food at hideous prices. The menu is unintelligible. Save your $$$.

We had a wonderful meal this evening at Lost at Sea! We sampled most of the small plates, and the octopus, cauliflower pannacotta, and prawn ceviche were the highlights. While the cauliflower was a bit pricey it was absolutely worth it for the inventive combination of flavor and texture. Our entrees were well prepared, especially the buttery, flakey salmon and light, fresh gnocchi. I would highly recommend Lost at Sea to anyone looking for a unique and delicious meal!
