Lost Coyote’s Happy Hour deals have to be one of the best in the city right now. I only have positive things to say about this place. The atmosphere is modern and luxurious and their prices all around are so fair. The few times I went I had excellent service. The bartender (Kyle) works his butt off and really knows how to manage a full bar and does so with a smile. The server (Dyson) also works hard, is attentive, and makes all guests feel welcomed. All of the HH bites are delicious and the flavors are really thought out. They also have a heated pool in the back and is open year round. Do not miss out on this place!

This is my new favorite place in town! I did the membership and go to the pool All the Time. The pool is beautiful and I absolutely love going. The cocktails and food are amazing too. Indoors there's super nice food and cool dining. So you can go for a nice dinner or you can go for a fun pool day, they have it all. Then outside you can also get food, which is delicious. Cocktails are fantastic too! Can't overstate how much we love this spot. AND the happy hour is great! 🥂🍹🧜‍♀️

We’ve been coming to Lost Coyote since it opened up, and it just keeps getting better and better. The food is phenomenal, with an ever changing list of specials to keep things interesting. Favorites on the menu right now are the cornbread muffins, the pork chop, the Cajun corn dogs, and the Waldorf wedge. Definitely grab a cocktail or a mocktail here too. They are equally creative and delicious. Another big bonus is their pool club out back! $20 for a day pass also gets you a towel and a glass of bubbles, and the yearly membership is super affordable as well! Lots of nice loungers with umbrellas, a great tanning ledge IN the pool, and a special pool food and bev menu too. Lost Coyote is truly a great addition to our neighborhood!

We had a group of 22 people for my husbands birthday on Saturday September 6th and Colin made it happen! We sat at one gigantic table and it was so much fun! No one ever had an empty glass and they somehow were able to get everyone’s food out around the same time and perfectly made. Food was a 10/10 as was service! Dyson took great care of our table and we will definitely be back!

Google
Great experience at Lost Coyote! After a long day of Tuna fishing in Venice. Colin and Chef Nicole prepared an amazing meal for us with our fresh catch. We had a group of 12 and they took care of us like family. The ambiance was great and the staff was very attentive. The Corn Muffins, Pork Belly, and Fried Potatoes were excellent. Thank you for a great experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Great atmosphere, beautiful decor! The food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend the shrimp roll, delicious! We went for the pool and it wasn't too crowded, we had a great time hanging out for the afternoon.

Google
This place sucks. I got charged full price for two Budweisers during happy hour, ordering at the bar. They were supposed to be 2 dollars each, cost 9 instead. Why doesn’t happy hour apply to the pool anyway? Even with free entry, you’re much better off going to the Country Club and paying to get in. Happy hour at least applies for the entire establishment. Mid, over-priced food, aggravating crowd, dirty pool, the water smells like mold and I was picking random hair off me the entire time. They can’t pick a lane with smoking. Objectively, as an outdoor establishment, they should allow it, yet there’s no ashtrays. Non-smokers won’t be happy either, as they don’t stop anyone anyway. Simply put: Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Google
Great new restaurant on Esplanade! Elegant interior with gracious staff. The food was delicious! We had the wedge salad, corn bread and burrata to start. Then the pan seared fish and beef pot pie for our mains. Looking forward to see how they develop the dessert menu. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, The Lost Coyote made us feel like family. Our large party of 12 was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, even though we arrived close to the end of the night. Not only were they incredibly flexible and accommodating, but at no point did we feel rushed--quite the opposite. The staff made us feel right at home and treated us like one of their own. The family-style dining was perfect for our group--every dish felt like it was made with love and meant to be shared. The vibe was relaxed, fun, and full of heart, which only made our night more special. We laughed, we connected, and we made amazing memories thanks to the incredible team at The Lost Coyote. And we have to mention the Cuban coffee at the end of the meal--absolutely phenomenal. It was the perfect final touch to a truly memorable evening. This wasn't just dinner--it was an experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, even better service, and a place that feels like home.

Yelp
Super cute space you wouldn't know when you walked in the door you were still on the corner of Claiborne and Esplanade although I didn't get a chance to try the food yet the menu looks amazing and I look forward to coming back from the food that I made my way out back to go to the pool! Not only of the pool beautiful but for only 20 bucks on Sunday do you get in? You also get a glass of bubbles and they're open till 10 PM. They also have a free pool day right now during the week I believe it's Tuesday or Wednesday, but check them out

Yelp
Ambiance? Check Delicious beverages? Check Kind waitstaff? Check Food? Gross, burnt, and overpriced. Don't go for the food. Apparently there's a pool and a goat(??) I guess for some people that makes up for it! I don't really love leaving negative reviews so wanted to include some good that the place has to offer. Go for drinks and a swim!

Yelp
The best way to spend my Saturday. Always excited to see what adventure my husband planned landed us at this hidden gem. Right off the second line route is this little taste of paradise that makes you forget you're in the heartbeat of the city.. We came in for brunch and after a quick debate, decided to sit in the burlesque brunch and a time was had! Vivi Noir got my husband to step out of his comfort zone and the sights and laughs were endless. Topped with bottomless pineapple mimosas and some delicious eats: we had an AMAZING time. Although due to my orange allergy, I was unable to try the cognac glaze, the beignets were top tier: flaky and delectable. The cajun hotdogs were a great surprise: crispy and flavor-packed. The pork, belly greens and potatoes were perfection. I was full all day but didn't feel heavy. The pool was an added bonus. It was super cute, just deep enough to float around and sip on the spiked Baja blast. Not only was the place great but EVERYONE was so friendly, welcoming and made us feel like we were family. I got a chance to chat with the chef and the passion he has to create innovative meals for Halloween has me excited to come back. I want to tell the world about this place but also want to keep it to myself.

Yelp
Decided to go here for brunch and the pool. Got here at 12:30left at 5:4pm So that tells you what type of time was had here! They were having a burlesque brunch and at first we said no we would sit in the back but the energy said sit in the front glad we did. ViviNoir the host was amazing!! Made everyone comfortable and welcome. 20$ bottomless mimosas and they kept them glass filled! The food was chef kiss everything was cooked to perfection when you can make a corn dog taste gourmet you doing something. Lobster roll has become cliche so they have a cold shrimp roll ! The chicken sandwich is dont know how they got chicken to taste so good and I'm not a big fan of chicken. And do yourself a favor get the Beignets! Now the pool huge lots of chairs also heated for the weather changes. And a bar conveniently outside with frozen drinks and full bar with covered seating also. Support this business to many in Nola are closing.

Yelp
Walking from Jazz Fest yesterday evening and decided to stop at this newly opened restaurant/bar on Esplanade. The aesthetic is beautiful, ambience is very pleasant. My friend and I sat at the bar where this super kind waiter (hate I didn't get his name, he was the sweetest) told us about the current special-- 2lbs of crawfish which includes a pool pass that can be redeemed on another day and a free beer.. we decided to go for it! I'd also been craving crawfish the entire day so I felt like I hit the jackpot!! We decided to order drinks as well instead of the beer. We chose to sit outside since the weather was lovely on yesterday. He walked out and handed us our crawfish, that's where the disappointment started.. the to-go plate he handed us clearly, apparently, obviously, was not 2lbs. I'm knowing this as I am a native of New Orleans, I should know what 2lbs of crawfish looks like. I can typically eat 4lbs by myself, this is what we do here! Lol. I mentioned it and he gave us another to-go plate filled w| crawfish after speaking w| his manager. I was thankful that he did accommodate us. Again, he was truly the sweetest. After digging in, the crawfish were very dry- I mean no juice at all and super cold. At that point, we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. I'm assuming a typical tourist wouldn't notice the amount nor care about the taste. I couldn't dismiss it. Overall, this is a lovely spot. Drinks were amazingly, amazing. Service was great! I'm disappointed the crawfish didn't work out; however, I am VERY excited to try this spot again. I'll of course be ordering something other than crawfish. Truly, everything was great except that one hiccup. This place really is a gem perfect location tucked away in the 6th ward of New Orleans, right off of Esplanade.

Yelp
We Decided to stop here on our way to a festival for some drinks. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see how nicely decorated it was. My husband and I decided to sit at the bar. And we were greeted by a pleasant bartender, can't remember her name but she was a friend of the owner. She was very informative when we asked several questions about the establishment. I ordered a mocktail, but wanted something with lime and mint. Not sure what it was she made for me but it was delicious. So refreshing and the right amount of sweetness. My husband had a few beers. We decided to check out the pool in the back . And that's where most of the guest were . It was packed back there . But the area was nice. And the pool pass is just $20 and includes a glass of wine . Can't beat that . They also have a membership for $300 that has Six complimentary pours of bubbles per month Early/Late Entry Access ,Special Member Only Events , Towel per visit and 1 Guest Pass per month. We didn't get a chance to eat this time but we will be back real soon . Although we did street parking, they do offer parking in the back of the building. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the goat. We were told he came with the building when it was purchased. Next time definitely will sip, eat and dip!

Yelp
The hottest new pool spot in the big easy. It's definitely the place to be on Sundays with the best crawfish boil in the city. Excellent brunch menu, the Cajun corn dogs caught me off guard, they were the bomb. Pool full of young attractive people, enjoying some great cocktails, with all the tinctures made in house. And it's also a great place to come for dinner, it's really a unique place with a lot going on. I'm really excited to see which direction Lost Coyote goes next. They also have a huge ballroom above the restaurant, which will eventually be used for catering events. Huge fan, it's now on my rotation, and it's the most affordable pool membership in the city. Definitely my new pool spot!

Yelp
Cute place inside but no one was there just one other table. Appetizers we started with the olives, ricotta dip and corn bread. Out of all three nothing wowed me to go back. My friend did enjoy her drink it was mom I am home. If food doesn't improve I don't believe this place will last.

Yelp
Happy Hour Menu was amazing. All the plates I tried were tasty. Especially the mini cornbread. Service was great, bartender allowed us to choose the Music. It's a cute spot. House has been in the neighborhood forever, to see how it was transformed is Nice!

Christian W.

Yelp
Good ambiance inside; drinks were hit or miss. Pool area gets the job done, but it could be elevated. It still offers spacious place for sunbathing. Food was not good. Couldn't eat the chicken sandwich bc it was nothing but grease and chewy chicken. They need to figure it out with oil/temp/chicken. In fairness I will be back! It's a good spot, but I will choose differently when I go back. Beer for drinking and maybe a different item on the menu.

Carol W.

Yelp
Delicious meal. I especially liked the fries. Great service. Beautiful pool with soft fluffy towels provided in your fee.

Yelp
I'm so glad there's a new pool/bar/restaurant in town, and this one is in a neighborhood that needed it! I wish I took more pictures of the food and cocktails we had, but everything was SO good. The vibes are immaculate - it's moody and beautiful indoors and fun and sunny outside (plus a pool AND a goat). Our bartender took great care of us and everyone was so friendly. I wish this place lots of success and I'll definitely be back!

Claire S.

Yelp
We found this little gem to have a charming decor, laid back atmosphere, and delicious food. Every item we tried and we tried everything, was delicious. I can't wait to return! definitely try the corn muffins and pork belly!!

Michael S.

Yelp
Amazing!! Food was spectacular. The owner Colin and chef Nicole were extremely welcoming and provided an amazing experience. Great food, delicious drinks, and an amazing atmosphere. We had a large party of 12 people and every dish was amazing.

Yelp
Wow! What an amazing departure from the norm! Pool, amazing wine, cocktails and cuisine. Our waitress, Jessica, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wedge salad was properly prepared and was not "dripping " with dressing. The pork chop was the best I have ever eaten....anywhere! We also added the cornbread which was almost like a desert and way, way over the top! We will definitely be back. Honestly, I thought we were up for bar food but this was a a true culinary experience! This place is new so give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
