How Bermuda Chefs Make a Baked Spiny Lobster Dish | Eater

"A Warwick, Bermuda seafood restaurant opened by fisherman Delvin Bean after he discovered he was catching more seafood than he could sell. Bean, who began fishing around age 18, learned to cook from his mother and shaped a menu inspired by her recipes, with a standout spiny lobster dish. Spiny lobster — prized locally for its sweeter flavor and generous tail meat — is the seasonal star (a seven-month season) that draws customers seeking very fresh shellfish. Chef Anthony U. Gomez readies the lobster by halving it lengthwise to retain meat on each side, seasoning it with garlic powder, lemon pepper, and paprika, roasting it, stuffing the shell toward the head, and glazing it with a lemon-butter-garlic sauce before plating with vegetables and rice; Gomez emphasizes that garlic powder is essential. Video coverage of the operation highlights that the lobsters are caught by the team, underscoring the restaurant’s focus on fresh, locally sourced seafood." - Avery Dalal

A true culinary gem!! —LITT (Lost In The Triangle)—where we’ve now had the pleasure of dining twice in the past two days: once for lunch and again tonight for dinner. And let me tell you… wow! Both times, we were lucky to be served by the absolutely wonderful Nikka. She made us feel like we were guests in her own home—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food. Her recommendations from the daily catch were spot on. Hands down, the hogfish was our favorite—flaky, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And don’t even think about leaving without trying the conch fritters… they’re a must! Chef Delvin is clearly a master in the kitchen—each dish was bursting with fresh, bold flavors. On top of that, the manager came over personally to chat with us, offer some great local tips, and just make us feel right at home. It was such a thoughtful touch. So if you find yourself anywhere near Warwick, make it a point to stop by LITT. And honestly, even if you’re not nearby—it’s worth the trip. Cab it, walk it, sail in… just get there. You won’t regret it. 📸 Sharing some snaps of our lunch from yesterday and tonight’s amazing dinner and apps. Enjoy!

Great little place for fresh fish and sushi...very clean & accommodating and right on the main street with bus stop in front.....quick 20 minute ride from cruise ship dockyards... about $9 per person round trip.

I was also one of the patrons that really wanted to give this place 5 stars. It came highly recommended by my taxi driver(found out they are friends). I had the steak and shrimp. The menu very clearly stated 4 shrimp. I got 3 and no they did not bring another. 2 club sodas $9. Over cooked steak. The spinach was very good. Honestly I could have lived with all of that until I asked if they could call a taxi. The waitress walked away and came back a few minutes later and said NO. I asked if the restaurant had any phone number for taxis? I was told NO, if I wanted a taxi go stand by the street and wait until one came by. I would not recommend this place.

Go straight for the spiny lobster if it’s in season (Sept-March). Baked, not thermidor. Really firm, sweet meat, much sweeter than Maine lobster. Get either mash or mac and cheese for sides. Spinach good too. Owner-run and he’s on the premises, taking care of his customers. Reasonable price. A real gem!

Great food. Good service. Fish sandwich was "lit", 🤣. Conch fritters were good too. Super solid spot for very good casual food. Appears to be a local spot.

Visited Lost in the Triangle and found the overall experience to be decent. The pricing is fair, which is a big plus, especially when dining out can be quite expensive these days. The staff deserves a special mention for their warmth and friendliness; they truly make you feel welcomed. However, there's room for improvement in other areas to make the dining experience more memorable. A solid choice for a casual meal. Do try the spicy stir fry chicken with rice…

We travelled to Bermuda for a wedding from Canada and went MANY times to this restaurant because of how incredible the people were. Not only were the servers phenomenal, especially Fernan (spelling may be incorrect), but the food was to die for. The chef, Jason, was wonderful. He spoiled us with his incredible talents. We came with 8 people and they accommodated us with great welcomes and friendly smiles. I have never loved food so much after being here. The wahoo fish was unreal. This place has to be on your list if you are coming to Bermuda. After being here, no restaurant measured up to the friendliness and quality of food. We ate here 5 times in our 7 day stay in Bermuda and we’d do it again when we come back. We wanted to send a friendly thank you to the restaurant staff and chef who made us feel at home while staying here.
