"Lost Boys is a vampire themed pizza joint and basement absinthe bar in Camden. Okay, we hear you, anyone who’s seen Interview With The Vampire knows that sun rays and blood suckers do not mix. But bear with us because this place has a garden patio situation out back that is completely hidden from the street, heaters, and is chilled enough to feel like you’re at your mate’s place. If you’re thinking that a spot that has something called ‘Fangs For The Memory’ on their menu would be naff, think again, the pizza here is great. "If, right now, at this very second, a meal deal is calling your name because those three pints during the warm-up act have made you sensationally desperate for anything resembling a carbohydrate, then we would like to introduce you to Lost Boys Pizza. Near Mornington Crescent, it’s a vampire-themed pizza joint named after an OTT cult horror film. We know that sounds terrible but Lost Boys is so committed to black charcoal crusts, bloodsucker puns, and a banging playlist of ‘80s classics, that it’s actually pretty hard to have a bad time here. It’s got that mate’s place energy and although the pizza isn’t going to change your perception of space and time, you’ll be fed fast and not receive any side-eye for being a little tipsy." - heidi lauth beasley
"If you would have asked us what a chiminea was prior to the pandemic we would have tilted our heads and said ‘is it, like, the Gen Z version of the macarena?’ But alas, thank you global crisis, we now know all about fire pits, fencing, and the exact shade requirements of a lemon tree due to spending so much time in our mate’s gardens. If your comfort level hasn’t passed ‘casual London garden’ then Lost Boys Pizza is a good shout for a lowkey catch-up. Complete with sweet naff bunting and lots of happy faces, this small Camden pizzeria is as close as you can get to a private garden whilst still being able to pay someone to mix the cocktails. Technically, it’s, erm, vampire-themed, but that’s fine because frankly, nothing scares us anymore, and a little wink wink nudge nudge silliness never hurt anyone.
