Most of the dishes were quite tasty, with the exception of the trout, which unfortunately was not very impressive.
However, a much stranger situation happened with the service. At the beginning, the waiter quoted certain prices for the number of pieces in the appetizers, but later, without any agreement from our side, he practically doubled the portions, which automatically increased the bill. The same happened with the main courses: even though we clearly mentioned several times that we were not very hungry and wanted to share dishes in order to try the restaurant’s cuisine, we were served more than we had asked for.
As a result, the bill became unreasonably inflated. Fortunately, the manager stepped in, apologized, and corrected the amount — and we truly appreciate his effort to smooth things over.
Nevertheless, the waiter’s behavior felt aggressive. He did not really listen to our wishes, communicated rather harshly, and at times came across as confrontational. This is definitely not what you expect when coming for a relaxed dinner.
So despite the situation being resolved in the end, I personally would not return. It was the first time I experienced something like this in a restaurant in the Italian mountains.
