A must eat spot for your pizza cravings!!! We had a deep dish w/ our fav toppings, and a Caesar salad (it was enough to feed 3 people). So filling & delish! Also pictured is a tiny, snickerdoodle cookie w/ a scoop of icecream. Heads up, it’s literally like the size of 1 actual cookie (1-2 bits), just enough to meet your sugar craving but not a full dessert size fyi. The service & atmosphere has ALWAYS been excellent from the hostess to the wait staff including the “bus boys.” It’s a moderate sized dining room, would recommend reservations but they stop taking reservations during their busiest dinner-time hours on weekends. Still, we didn’t have to wait despite going right at 7pm. The bartenders made the cocktails to order & the wine section was perfect. Highly recommend & will be back! I am not too excited about the thin crust pizza they offer. However, the deep dish never ceases to impress. This time around I had a veggie deep dish at this location and I was pleased. I like the way they decorated the restaurant. I like the industrial feel. The service is nice and easily approachable. Nice people to deal with.

We celebrated the 70th birthday of a wonderful man! Our server was Claire, who was amazing, and Paul, who took care of the pre-celebration details was so attentive! We ordered large caesar and large Lou Malnati. Pizzas were Deep dish: 2 large sausage Half pepperoni half cheese Thin: Veggie Sausage Gluten free cheese (This was for me...not Celiac so snatched a bite of my husband's; preferred gluten free. This was a fantastic gluten free pizza!!)

It was my first time for everything, I stepped into this cozy yet jam packed place for Dinner that told me it was a place loved by loads, one corner friends having a good time to other a birthday celebration. Being a vegetarian I got myself a deep dish veg Pizza expecting to see some normal pizza jaw dropped when I saw that mouthwatering delicious cheese pizza being delivered to me.. drum roll please. The staff added flavor to the evening with the warmth you got to try this places. Check out their menu I just posted to help you make your selection so you don’t have to waitttt.

Food was good. Staff was not very friendly when I went there. I am not going to lie. Yes there were a few that pretended like they were happy. I get it who is really happy when they are at work? But you have to remember you are in the service industry and you have to create an atmosphere to where the customer would want to return. Coming from someone that had 7 years in the service industry. Do better.

We got take out but from what I could see it seemed nice and clean inside. The togo worker seemed nice and got our 2 pizzas out in less than 30 minutes. We ordered the new portillos hot dog collab. We love portillos hog dog and did really like this combination together. Tasted just like the hot dog just different carb and adding cheese. I do wish there was more peppers. The other pizza we got was the hot honey collab which honestly we didnt taste any of the honey at all, still pretty good pizza. Both definitely not worth spending $42 on. I definitely wouldnt call these a deep dish pizza, not more topping, sauce or cheese than a regular pizza. The only difference between this pizza and a regular from Dominos is the crust. The food wasn't bad just wouldnt spend that much money on 2 pizzas especially if not deep dish.

Everything was sooo good!! My husband and I got the Chicago classic pizza and the honey BBQ wings. The food was absolutely delicious! The wings were so crispy and the honey BBQ sauce was spot on. The pizza not only had an amazing tasting tomato sauce but the crust also had a fantastic flavor! Our waiter Paul was so nice and made the night even more enjoyable!

First time trying Lou's (sounds like Illuminati's). Pretty tasty pizza, not really DEEP though, & prices not cheap. Got a couple Individual deep dishes. They needed more cheese as they seemed just like a normal pan pizza (Detroit or Cleveland style). Salad was pretty decent. Bruschetta bread was perfect but the cheese was not enough for 8 pieces. Plus they don't include any Balsamic glaze! Service was good. Order was to go. Overall I'd give 3.5 stars & give the edge to Giordanos.

A weekend visit to Chicagoland isn't complete without some deep dish pizza. Hosts were welcoming, Tyler was fantastic, the drinks tasty, and the best part was the pizza.

They forgot we were there and it was my birthday! This experience was unreal I don't think they have staff during the daytime. Maybe the experience is better for dinner but for lunch it's terrible. We placed our order for a large deep dish sausage pizza. That's all! Nothing special while I'm wearing a birthday tiara. We got nothing after an hour we asked how much longer. They told us the other table in the back got our pizza. I didn't buy that excuse I think it was never ordered or it went to the many to go party orders I watched get taken out. Ultimately the pizza was free and dessert. That's the least they could do after ruining my birthday!

Ok, this Oakbrook location has dine-in and bar so great choice to catch up with friends and enjoy the appetizers, pizza and desserts immediately without having to wait for the ride home. The place is super clean and staff extra friendly. Definitely be back to bring out of town guests to enjoy my favorite Chicago Deep Dish pizza.

Stopped here for dinner on Saturday, May 25th. We didnt have reservations but were offered spots at the bar or the patio. We chose the patio. Our waitress quickly took our drink order, a seasonal bluebetry moscow mule for my partner and a son of juice IPA from maplewood brewery for myself. Both drinks were spot on! For our meal we ordered the plschetta and a deep dish Lou's classic and asked them to add pepperoni. There was a minor mixup and we actually received (and ate) a cheese pizza that was delivered to our table. The staff sorted it out and got us our appetizer and Lou's special. Everything was delicious. We will return.

So we are in the Windy City aka Chitown...the pizza place was recommended by a local. Firefly the pizza was okay- we were hungry and you know that goes .. I will say having the fresh tomatoes in/on the pizza was surprisingly good. I expected more cheese. The wings were got were crispy so that was a hit. Ambiance was meh...we came in and were told we'd be seated in 10 and then three parties who also came I. Got seated before us - zero stars. Our server Maddie was really wonderful and picked up the slack for the hostess.. We getting pizza from another place to compare.

It is a large restaurant with the tasty Lou's faves. There is nice outside seating with shading on sunny days and plenty of seating inside. The service is fast and friendly, willing to make adjustments as they are able to food. The food is fresh and comes out in a timely manner.

In the Chicago area everyone knows there are those various places to get a deep dish pizza which some people say is a casserole and not a true pizza. This is Yelp and everyone is entitled their opinion. There are the local mom and pop spots you can get this Chicago staple from along with those places that have branched out nationally. I went with the latter and decided to get a personal size deep dish pizza and wings from Lou Malnati's Pizza. You can find these spots dotted all over Chicago and in the burbs. I decided to try out the one in Oakbrook Terrace and get take out from them. Looking back at it I should have just went to the establishment and ordered there to enjoy an adult beverage at the bar. The place is very clean and looks to be new. On the day I went it was not very crowded but I think that was because of all the road construction going on in front of the place. My order was ready upon arrival and it was not the typical here is your food now go. The hostess ensured all was good to go and asked if I needed anything else like plates, utensils, or extra seasoning. The food came out hot as they keep it in some type of oven. I was very surprised at the wings and most of all the size of them. They were no small baby wings. These wings were huge with some meat like they just did a bid hitting that iron in prison to bulk up. I got the bbq (bar-b-lou) flavored wings and I have to say that this place could easily take down so many other wing places that are out there. For my personal pizza that is will fill you up I decided to go with pepperoni, sausage, spinach mix, mushroom, and extra cheese. It is recommended to get the personal size pizza uncut but don't worry if you think this will leave it with no personality, very dull but hey that's some people. I do think that maybe if it was a larger pizza the flavor profile would have been different but this is not a knock as it was still good. If given the option this is a definite place I would consider going back to. It was a good balance of sauce and my toppings. Not too much of this and not too much of that and being able to taste all the ingredients. I enjoyed that it was not just a bunch of bread like some other places that claim to serve deep dish pizzas. U no (Unos) who I am taking about. See what I did there. Doing back to what I wrote in the beginning is that there are many places that have there on take on this pizza and it just takes finding the right one that fits you. I will say that you will not be disappointed by coming here.

The pizza never disappoints but unfortunately this location service was by far the bare minimum. I had made a reservation for my party of 9 so they would be aware of large group . We arrived and were seated by host, it was not busy in my opinion. We were seated for At least 10min before the host came and advised if we wanted water since our waitress had not come to table at this point . After our water was brought, we waited quite some time again before another person who advised they were not waitress would take our order and asked if we wanted any other drinks at this time . The wait time for food was long which was kinda expected since we ordered deep dish pizzas along with other food but it seemed longer than 30 mins , all that is acceptable but our waitress never came to ask for refills or provide more water to table . She seemed to continue to go tonight tables but not ours , seemed like manager was trying to tack her slack . When we finally got food that was first and only time waitress was at table and to give to check . Disappointed by service this day , honestly didn't even want to leave tip to her but hoping she shared with the people who actually made effort . Don't think I would go back to this location . Only thing that made this trip here was fortunately the food was good.

I was visiting Chicago and always heard about the debates of who has the best deep dish. So naturally I had to try Lou Malnati's. We ordered a deep dish Chicago Classic which came with Italian sausage and we added pepperoni. The pizza was huge! We ordered a large because we were sharing amongst four people but at least 6 ppl can eat off this. The pizza was just ok to me but I will say the marinara was really fresh! The Caesar salad was very delicious! We ordered a bottle of wine to go with it and you can't go wrong with Caymus. The pizza was pretty good, just not the best I've had.

Lou's is always a stop on my Midwest tour when I visit home. You have to come sit down for the full experience. The food was delicious, the vibes were great, and our server- Sergio, was an incredibly hospitable host.

A Chicagoan recommended going there for "tavern pizza". I don't even know what that means. Apparently Chicago's thin crust version. I am from Colorado. It was good, but not great. Pepperoni was buried underneath everything else, so no crispy pepperonis for me. Just a presence I guess. However, I also ordered wings (BuffaLou). And they were fantastic. They make wings that satisfy my every pickiness about wings,, which I am always hesitant about. Crispy skin, yet juicy, and sauced perfectly. Most excellent wings. Homemade blue cheese was great too. 5 stars for wings, 2.5 stars for pizza that I guess I had other expectations. I'd be back though. Maybe try the deep dish next time.

Placed an order for pickup and after waiting about 10 minutes the manager came up to me apologized for the wait and compensated me for their mistake in not starting my order on time. Great customer service and I will be back. Food is always solid!

What a sweet place filled with a bunch of sweetie pies!!! Ordered take away after a long day of work and this place did NOT disappoint!!! If you're looking to experience the iconic Chicago deep dish experience look no further. I loved the ease of ordering online. I'm not a big eater but wanted to try a little of everything. I ordered Malnati salad An order of wings An unsweetened tea And a small personal pan deep dish malnati Chicago classic without sausage So good. Chicago deep dish unlike anything I've tasted before. The texture. The taste. It's not sweet. It's not salty. It's different savory flavor. It's a different flavor profile and a different texture altogether. I don't know maybe you've had deep dish before. I never had. It's delicious. And the personal pan is literally the size of a postage stamp but like I said I'm not a big eater so it was perfect for me. It's so filling I could only eat half. Get this. These angels at the place - I asked in the app if well, let me put it this way --- I ordered the smallest order of wings ---- which I believe was eight wings (the wings are HUGE!!!!) and the options for the side that comes with the wings is either ranch dressing or Gorgonzola. Gross for both of those. I don't know about you. I'm used to having blue cheese and celery with my wings. So I put a note that if possible, could I please have a side of blue cheese and celery with the wings if not, that's fine. I'll just take Gorgonzola with celery if possible, even though they don't typically offer celery with the wings. To my absolute delight when I picked up My order there was not only a huge generous cup of blue cheese included with the wings, but a very nice BIG bag, beautiful sealed bag full of celery sticks at least 12 celery sticks in there and not like teeny tiny match stick celery, sticks, like actual big full size slices of celery. Wow super generous and get this - no extra charge!! I've been to cheap mom and pop places that charge 3 bucks extra for drums only and another 1.50 for blue cheese and celery! Can you imagine!? On top of all this beautifully packaged food everything high-quality excellent consistency you can tell this place takes pride and it's work even though it apparently is a chain. I don't care. I love chains because they're consistent typically. This spot crushed it. Was greeted by a super duper nice gentleman at the door. Super nice super friendly very professional just lovely. As was the young lady behind the register at the Takeaway counter and the young man who came out from the kitchen to give me my bags full of food read back to me, confirming the order was correct. Which I really appreciated. Do you know how long it's been since I've received consistent actual nice friendly authentic service from a restaurant like this???? YEARS!!! I travel a lot for work and I've been all over the US - this place nailed it. Yes, this is a chain, but you know what this particular location very clean. Excellent staff generous portions. Well executed the inside. Had a nice ambience highly recommend two thumbs up.

I had to jump at the opportunity to try the new Lou and Mike's hot honey collaboration starting National Deep Dish Pizza Day, 4/05. It also has a new special cupped pepperoni, sausage and giardiniera. Delivery was promptly on time after ordering earlier using their new and improved app. Gonna have to try the honey on their wings before it's gone.

Came here last night with my family, had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the price for everything we got was excellent. Emily was our server and she was the sweetest most attentive, when I mentioned to her we were visiting from CA she proceeded to give me recommendations on things to do around Chicago. Good ambiance all around, very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

The food took a very long time to get We only got a small pizza And an appetizer. the server never checked on us. The food was fine. It's just we were very disappointed in the service. Will not be back to this location. The Elk Grove Village location is so much better. It's worth the drive out there.

Outstanding single dinner out eating at the bar. The bartender and waiter did an outstanding job. The salad is massive for one person definitely leftovers. The pizza was cooked to perfection with great flavor. The libation was excellent. Excellent start to finish

3stars... I don't get back to Chi Town as often as I like, but when I do it's all about the deep dish! Happened to be here during lunchtime and they have an express lunch..personal pizza and salad! Perfect sized pizza and a rather large salad for one... pizza sauce had high acidity, and that was the only negative about the visit. Ambiance is eclectic flea market, service was on point, and prices were as expected. Lou's is one of my go-to, so I'll keep coming back!

There was time where I considered Lou Malnati's Pizzeria to be the best pizza in Chicago followed closely by Burt's Place. I was looking forward to having an amazing meal with my family. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. Lou Malnati's was sold to a San Francisco-based private investment firm in 2021 and the quality has dropped significantly. We ordered two pizza's one was cheese only and the other was sausage with onions. Both pizzas were deep dish and butter crust. While the crust was delicious, both had a lot less dough and barely any cheese! In the past one piece was great, two pieces and you were stuffed. I had 3 pieces and could easily had 4. My god what happened to my beloved pizza place? I do not think I will ever go back!!! The service was fantastic and Sergio was the only good thing. From now on when I want authentic Chicago Deep dish I will go to Burt's Place in Morton Grove. Are other locations any better?

When visiting the Chicago area, we usually have pizza for at least one of our meals. This visit was no exception. I've been going to Lou Malnati's since they were a one restaurant operation in Lincolnwood. Nice to see the huge expansion they've had has not impacted the product which in my opinion is one of the better pan pizzas around. We sat near the bar so we could hopefully see some of the Michigan/Ohio State game. Game wasn't on but they were nice enough to change the channel so we could watch. We ordered our pizza and enjoyed some football while it was cooking. In about 30 minutes, another masterpiece was delivered to our table. Pizza was perfect like the so many we've had before this one. Most if not all Lou Malnati full service restaurants also sell frozen pizzas to take home. (There are also many locations that are carry out only) Armed with a large cooler, we bought 5 to take home and enjoy until our next trip to the Chicago area. Like everywhere, prices have gone crazy here way beyond any inflation numbers out you hear about. As long as the quality doesn't change, I'll continue coming and I really have to appreciate the effort it takes to maintain quality for over 70 locations in four states.

Dined at the bar. Heather (bar tender) is as great as they come...genuinely nice with a server's heart and a great spontaneous sense of humor. She provides great suggestions when you're on the fence of which appetizer, entree, or dessert to choose. The salad was great along with the chicken marsala. I'll be back to enjoy great dining experience at the bar.

My favorite deep dish pizza. Never disappoints. My friends and I usually get together here to have great food and catch up. I usually order the Lou, made well done. Their calamari, salads, bruschetta are my fave appetizers!

I live in San Diego and CRAVE this pizza. They now offer a gluten free butter crust for me and I had it tonight for the first time visiting my Dad for the holidays. It was just as I remember. The taste. The quality. All amazing. I always get spinach and pepperoni and my dad orders pepperoni and sausage. Service was great. Food was perfect. Thank you!!!

The spaghetti was delicious, could have used a little more sauce on it, but the flavor was excellent. Would highly recommend it and the next time I'm in town I will order from here again

The location was nice the staff were nice. I ordered a personal pizza and a salad to go. The crust was not edible. And the salad was not fresh. I think it was made a few days prior and put in the cooler. Order your pizza well done and a custom salad.

Before I begin, I think it's important to say that I love Lou Malnati's pizza and think their butter crust is unmatched. However, the experience my family had with this location last night was unacceptable: We placed a large on-line order for pick up at 6pm. At around 5:30pm, we decided to call and request the order be delivered (authorizing delivery charges to be added, of course). The woman on the phone said that wasn't a problem and that our order would arrive around 6:30pm. Okay, no problem. False. This is when the blatant lack of communication at this Lou's location became evident. 6:30pm came and went, 6:40pm, 6:45pm... 7pm... not a single call, zero follow up. We finally called at 7pm and the woman apologized and said our delivery was on the way. False. Our delivery was NOT on the way. We called back around 7:20pm and they apologized and said that there wasn't anyone to deliver our order to us and told us that our pizza had been sitting for an hour and a half!! My brother in law left immediately to pick up our order. The most alarming thing about this entire experience was that Lou's never called to update us regarding our order. Were they ever going to call? Probably not. Again, we love Lou's pizza but this location needs to get it together. What a disappointing experience.

We regularly order pickup from this location and the food is always amazing! We always as for modifications on our salad (toppings on the side, 2 kinds of salad dressing etc.) and the order is always correct! The staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely recommend this location! 10/10!

Stayed at a hotel nearby and was excited to try this spot as soon as we got checked in. We walked over and it looked closed so we left! We later (the next day) realized they stack the chairs on the tables on the side of the restaurant facing the road which makes it appear closed at night. The actual entrance is more towards the back of the building. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. I found the crust to be super disappointing, lacking flavor, dry and undercooked. Was hoping for better! The tomato sauce and Italian sausage on the pie were pretty delicious though. Mozzarella sticks were average to below average, skip them.

We like the Malnati salad which was large enough for 3 of us split. We had a Chicago Classic and a gluten free thin crust. Classic was good, although I felt the crust was overcooked (dry). I love their sausage it's the best. Gluten free was ordered with sausage and bell peppers. Showed up with no peppers. Waitress was nice and atmosphere was good. Ask for a booth they are roomier than the tables.

Visiting for la la pa lose a! I have never had a Lou Malnati's before. Got a thin crust for the concert go'rs (daughter and friend) and got a small deep dish sausage for wife and I. I thought the wings were over priced but the wife talked me into getting them. I am glad she did. One of the best wings I've had in awhile! highly recommend! wish they had a lou's in blono

We arrived a few minutes after 5:00, really looking forward to the classic pizza. There were very few customers in the restaurant, as it was a little early for dinner. It took a couple minutes for the host to figure out where to seat us. Once we were seated we waited 10 minutes. No one came to our table at all to offer water, to say they'd be with us - Nothing! We saw 3 different servers and a person who looked like he was a manager - none of them even acknowledged our presence. We left. Also, the table was so sticky the menus stuck to the table. Had a server come, the first thing we would have asked was to clean the table. Nope - don't go to this location.

Date night with hubby for Valentine's Day. Last time we had Lou's from another location, we didn't like it (and had Lou's several times previously). Tonight, it was very good. We started with an old fashioned, which was good, but on the tiny side. Went with a small house salad which was sized for at least 2 people. The red house wine vinaigrette, which was sweet and tangy complimented the fresh greens with bits of cucumber and sliced onions. The medium sausage pizza was hot, fresh, with a tangy pizza sauce layered with a nice sausage patty, on top of a buttery soft crust with a crunchy bottom. The sausage slice was thinner than I remember, which I loved. We ordered a cannoli dip for dessert. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Bill was around $50. We will definitely be back.

Gave it three stars because the foods good. We had a thin crust sausage mushroom however, the mushrooms were just little black flecks. Mushrooms I wouldn't get ever again. Service was OK. We had to let people know that we were there. And the ambience is too hectic Customers want you to get out of their way and give up your seat because they're here now so we won't come back again. Too bad, because it's a good location. It's convenient to get to and park and we had high hopes. Maybe in the future they'll get everything straightened out and we can try it again

Ugh, this should be as illegal as any controlled substance on the market. I keep saying I don't understand addictions to drugs, but... if it's anything like my obsession with Lou's, I guess I DO understand. New York - you can HAVE your wimpy, paper-thin pizzas. I'll take our superior Chicago deep-dish ANY day. -- As for this particular location... I placed my order on-line approx. three hours before I wanted it... and it was on-time, hot, and with a friendly driver. Can't get any better than that.

We were in for a conference, and all of us were from another part of the United States and Canada. We were a big party, and they took care of us very well. Also, the pizza was exceptional.

This is a good branch, great location near lots of shopping. But any Lou's restaurant serves the same high quality pizza and salad and other entreès. We had been out of the country for almost a month on a mission trip and returned craving our faves in American cuisine! For pizza? Only Lou Malnati's!! Always!

Tried to eat there last night, but never got to. My family waited at the front counter for at least 10 minutes before deciding to leave. There were plenty of waiters working but all decided to ignore our presence.

I've been curious to re-try Lou Malnati's after some years since a last visit - with this newer location nearby. And now, I think it's time to make my (in)famous homemade pizza again! Crispy Calamari & personal size thin crust Cheese Pizza each had opposite problems. Calamari, rings only, makes a nice pic but was overcooked, a bit rubbery & breading soggy & clingy, but hungry after a long day I ate it. Yet the cocktail sauce was distinct and fresh, with just the right amount of horseradish. Server did kindly offer an alternate so he gets props, I said naaa that's OK I'm starving but thanks. And extra props he surprised me by taking it off the bill. No question an attentative server and regularly checked to see if I needed anything else.. As far as the Pizza goes it tastes about how it looks - crust was underbaked, oily & even a bit wet. Tasted yeasty (shouldn't really taste the yeast it's not part of the flavor profile LOL) but otherwise bland. Cheese more greasy than anything else, not flavorful. But again, the sauce was nice. After decades of Chicagoland history thinking it's unlikely Malnati's would retool recipes and cooking methods, but here's hoping and it would be an easy fix with a handful of changes. Place was otherwise clean and welcoming. Hard to say if I would rush back and try again. But probably not with the people I eat out with the most (you know who you are LOL!) - can already predict the negative reactions from each of them. Recommendations? MOD Pizza, or your favorite frozen pizza (yes, really!), or just make your own.

Paul the host was very rude! We were there at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon, not a busy time at all. my husband ask to not be in the sun Paul replied I'm not giving you a choice. Our wait staff was great, our food was great. The table my husband wanted was never used while we were there. We are just used to being treated better than this

Light sauce pizza was great! Spinach and cheese stuffed bread was so good!! Yummmmm! We definitely recommend.
