Got fish and chips and the chicken sandwich. The food was pretty good. The Hoosier hoche cocktail was not very good, tasted like a spiked tea. Also, the meal was good, but not very expensive kind of good.

Very cool pub. Duane is a great server. He knows the menu. Pork tenderloin is huge. Menu is typical.

Carrie was super awesome waitress while my friends and I were sitting at the bar! She was very chill and told us a little bit about Indianapolis as I drove from Kansas this weekend to see the Royal Rumble! I ordered the JackKnife Chicken and an Electrifying Elixir!

Have stopped in twice now during GenCon. Food was good and the service was great. Bartender is a super friendly guy that kept checking in on everyone while chatting, even though it was a busy night. He never let my glass of coke get empty.I loved the themed food menu they did for GenCon this year 2025, i can't remember if they did the same last year.

The food was so amazing!! The service was what I was expecting for such a chill place like this but it is not typically an atmosphere for younger people. It’s perfect for the office workers in the area and it’s a great spot for locals. The only thing is that the price doesn’t match the portions at. It was a little expensive for what we got but it really is the best Reuben in Indy

Nice ambiance, great customer services. First time eating a pork loin sandwich, found it to be bland and not very interesting. On the other hand, southwestern chicken nachos are good, something worth the try. Our best part was the jalapeños! Variety of beer and craft beer…

Always get friendly service and great food. Got the tenderloin this time with their Chilli.

Went before the Dwight Yoakam / Mavericks concert…Solid bar offerings, but our server was a champion at hide-and-go-seek, so that was a letdown. Our food order (5 people) didn’t come out together (one person’s sandwich came as 2 of us were already finished) and the first part of the order wasn’t very hot / fresh. All in all, a convenient location for things downtown, but not our best family outing of recent. Hoping for better next time.

Great bartender. Quick and easy place for a beer at a reasonable price away from the more downtown area. All firefighter decor, very cool. Will return when in Indy. Great place for a local beer before going to an Indians game at Victory Park.

Maybe 2 1/2. We got there a little bit after 10 and the kitchen was closed. No problem that the kitchen was closed, except for the fact that soon as we walked in, they told us the kitchen was closed, as I was walking to the back, we were told the kitchen was closed, when we sat down The waitress first thing out of her mouth not out can I help you kitchen is closed. It was 100% like they were not interested in having you there and they thought the kitchen being closed would keep you from staying. We ended up with about 15 people in there and you would've thought they were excited to have that. The waitress will certainly not accommodating at all throughout the night. I fully understand it was a very busy weekend with a lot of sport activity down there, but it seems like if you're in the service industry, that is a great opportunity to make more money than an average night . The kitchen closed and I heard other groups ask if they could order some pizzas because there was a group on the outdoor patio probably 50 and you would've thought they asked to bring in their own bottle of liquor. I also know that group of 50 out on the back Was trying to talk and having somebody speak for a few moments and they ask if they could turn the music down in the bartender didn't even entertain the idea or seem sorry that they couldn't.

After a long day traveling, this was exactly what was wanted. Near the convention center downtown, not too pricy, burgers, beer. They've clearly been serving the GenCon crowd for a few years and seemed ready for the influx of nerds. They even sell a themed t-shirt (nerds love merch). I liked the wall of firefighter patches. May or may not wind up here again in these 4 days.

Great place and wonderful service,the a was very nice and the music wasn't super loud just in the background at a volume where you could carry on a conversation. Very highly recommend

Horribly slow service. Whoever is overseeing the kitchen flow needs help. Hoping the food at least is decent. I'm now late for my meeting. Never got an apology for waiting 40 minutes for our food. A joke is always nice to lighten the mood, but a sincere apology to go with it is probably the most important thing. I'm sure they've had better days. Today was not one of them. It happens.

Stopped in for cocktails after IU Indy Graduation! Although it was near closing time, Taylor and Carrie went out of their way to make us feel welcome! If you haven't been there, it's a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy great company!

Mariah was a great server. She recommended the fish and chips and they were delicious. A different server brought them out and didn't think my fish strip was big enough so they brought out a 2nd whole plate. It was so much food, I'm happy to have leftovers now. Really great service and vibes!

We're from Maryland stopped here for lunch. Great local pub for lunch. There were 10 of us. One friend had the English Beef with applesauce which she said was delicious. Another friend had Ruben, chili . Couple of us had the bacon jam burger, great burger and fries, yummy ate everything. One person had a taco salad that interestingly enough looked very much like a frito pie. Thank you Corky, service was great.

Pretty decent pub. Up the street from my hotel I wanted some mozzarella sticks but that's just it lol they were pretty basic. The mocktail was good. People were friendly. Really chill vibe and the set up was nice

Service was friendly and fast. The food was heavy but that's the vibe at most pubs. A very classic and local pub experience and ambiance. My burger was good with Swiss and provolone cheese. My friend got the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was HUGE and had a spicy kick. Another two of my friends had a fruity pomegranate and lemonade drink that was amazing. They had to stop themselves from downing the drinks in one go it was so yummy. Good place to stop by in Indy. Also has outdoor seating! But the price was a bit too expensive for the experience but I guess that comes with being in downtown.

Classic pub, done very well. It's clearly pub food, but it's very yummy while not adding frills. Good flavor beyond just salty, which is rarer than it should be! Really friendly staff. Nice bar vibe. Never a bad choice!

Who doesn't love a good pub? Solid 4 stars for this place. Ambiance was perfect and warm after getting out of a blizzard. Was sat quickly and only w the intention of grabbing a quick burger. Opted for something w fried onions, bbq sauce and bacon and it was delicious. Burger seemed above average but perhaps some of the fixins and condiments not so much. All in all, solid meal. Oh and they had Coke Zero. Huge plus for that. Cuz fuck Diet Coke. Service was awesome. Don't rememebr any names but I wanted for nothing and was taken care of impeccably. Wouldn't hesitate to grab another meal there.

Atmosphere is relaxed, servers and bartenders are great. Food is solid; feels like a place locals come for a drink and a bite before activities down in the city. Been twice, the Buffalo chicken sandwich was outstanding . Beers I recalled were tasty but don't remember which ones I ordered as it's been nearly two years. Grilled chicken sandwich Cajun style was a bit overcooked but still tasty. The chilly was good and not spicy. I'll come back after a good workout and get more traditional meals like the Buffalo chicken or a burger.

There is a nice patio to sit and people watch walking down the street. The service was great. She was very attentive to coming by the table to see if I needed anything

Longstanding favorite in downtown Indianapolis. If you prefer a local option to the corporate chains or overpriced hotel restaurants and bars, this little spot remains unpretentious and welcoming. Food is not exceptional but honest. Have a Guinness and talk to a stranger.

The staff is very kind and the service is quick. The inside is similar to an old pub. Such a great environment. The Bacon Jam Burger was very good. I highly recommend this establishment when you're downtown Indy.

We were at a conference and went to lunch at Loughmiller's Pub yesterday. We were charged one dollar more than what was shown on the menu for each of our two meals. When we pointed out the error to the waitress, she removed the extra charge but the manager did not come out to apologize or make amends. An error on one meal is plausible. An upcharge of a dollar on each meal... not so much.

The service was honestly the worst part. I've worked in customer service since I started working as a teen (including food service) so it's very hard to make me say this. However nothing is more frustrating to me than someone just blatantly not doing their job. Our waitress was the taller lady with dyed red hair and glasses. After she got us our waters she proceeded to sit in the back corner booth on her phone for just under 15 minutes before coming up to ask if we wanted to order. Meanwhile there was maybe 2-3 other tables in the restaurant that the shorter darker haired woman who was working tonight was tending to. Not once did she have a chance to sit down. I really wish she had been our waitress. Once our waitress put in our order she sat right back down in that back booth on her phone for another 15-20 minutes as it was getting busier. Had she been 30 seconds later on coming to take our order we would've already had walked out. The food was pretty good other than that, nothing special.

Having this pub right outside of the hotel made it a super convenient spot to grab a meal with my mom and grandma before the marathon! I just ate chicken and rice to keep it safe, but the burgers and french onion soup looked amazing here!! It's definitely worth a try if you're in the area

The staff is amazing here. Stopped by to watch the Stars playoff game last night and noticed the attention to detail on service and cleanliness. Kodos to them. Fair pricing on drinks and bevs. A few folks having a hell of a time but I don't mind it. Been there done it. Great place to hang out. Back tonight for a few and same thing but different faces. I'll be back next visit to Indy.

Monica our server was great. She provided excellent service. The food was great. We will be back . The environment was friendly and accommodating.

The food was probably more like a 3 star, but the local charm and the great service made it a 4 star lunch. We kept it simple - we had a pork tenderloin sandwich, a Southwest salad and we shared an order of the Chili Cheese nachos ... which our server happily converted into Chili Cheese fries upon our request. Striking up a pleasant conversation with the strangers sitting at the table next to us just added to the enjoyment of the meal.

As an Indy native, I'm embarrassed to say I'd never tried this place or heard of it. Perhaps because I moved 20 years ago before I was of legal drinking age. Anyway, in town for the weekend and this would scratch my breaded pork tenderloin itch. Perfect sandwich that reminded me I was home, with wonderful, charming Hoosier service that also reminded me I was home. Basically, I started singing "back home again.." to myself. It was super busy before a game but the hustle was on and the entire place delivered. this place.

I had the bacon jam burger & substituted the beef patty for the turkey burger. This burger was so delicious. Moist & full of flavor. The fries were fries. Our waiter was nice & friendly. The atmosphere was also nice.

Food was lukewarm- bacon jam cheeseburger had little I any bacon flavor- fries were cold.

Solid bar not too far from the museums and government center. I popped in to wait out rain and was pleasantly surprised. The bartender was very friendly and easily recommended a drink based on my go-to faves. Ordered some whiskey, cider, and chicken nachos, chatted up a guy there for a conference, and had myself a nice time while the weather cleared.

Food was awesome and totally worth the $15. There was so much food for the price, and everything tasted great. Our waitress was a total sweetheart and was very attentive as well (think her name was Nana or something like that, but she was great). Would totally come back if I were in the Indy area.

Mediocre experience. Food was meh. Waitstaff was less than enthusiastic and not attentive. Seemed like we were bothering them. Beer was cold and the fries were hot. Otherwise, not impressed.

Fish and chips AMAZING the Coleslaw delicious. Cheese bites delicious. Service great. Prices very reasonable. Sport bar atmosphere great. We will return the next time here.

This place is great. Good beer selection and great food. Very nice atmosphere and Scott the bar tender is a lot of fun.

Work locally so have come here several times in the last year and a half. It can be hit or miss. Lunch time is very very busy, so seating can be tough. It's a small space. The outdoor seating can be nice on a nice day but it's not super comfortable as its lawn chairs and tables are close together. The food I've had ranked by best to worst: 1. Tenderloin - can't go wrong with an Indiana tenderloin. Fries are good but they're just your standard frozen crinkle cut fries. 2. Indiana Cobb Salad - good! I swap out the poppyseed dressing for ranch, naturally. 3. Taco Salad - eh. Could be good with some tweaks. I like Fritos but about midway through the salad my mouth is shredded and the shredded lettuce is wet and soggy (hot chili on lettuce isn't super ideal). 4. Bacon jam burger - I don't understand why this is so popular? The butter patties seem like frozen patties with little to no seasoning. The "bacon jam" seems to just be sautéed onions and bacon? That is not jam. People expect something sweet/sticky/concentrated flavor. We thought they forgot it on our burger but when they brought a small bowl of it (like 15 min after asking for it) we realized it was on there it was just bland l, basically steamed bacon.

The food is ok. The location is good. The server made a mistake with my beer, so they gave me a free one.

An easy recommendation for those seeking good pub style eats in the downtown Indy area! Stopped in during a lunch break with a couple brothers-in-law the other day. The place was well filled, yet we were able to get seated right away outside during favorable weather. Despite the lunch rush, our server was very attentive, and we were served in more than reasonable timing. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich, which was juicy, tender and well made. The gentlemen I ate with seemed to enjoy their sandwiches as well. Although we were inside only for a moment, the interior seems very clean with good decor. The seating outside is nice and quiet for being downtown, with a good amount of shade. Certainly a great eatery for those in the mood for pub chow, and looking to not break the bank like some other downtown spots!

We waited a ridiculously long time (over an hour) for mediocre bar food. The staff was super apologetic and very kind. This place needs to employ more people and support the ones who are there. It was chaos. We witnessed 4 groups of people sit down, wait, and leave frustrated when no one even acknowledged their existence.

Wonderful Restaurant!! The food was delicious and the Guinness was fresh and proper!! I make it a point to come here , whenever I am in Indianapolis

They could improve the service and when we came for the eras tour the service was awful and the servers could not get it together.

Didn't actually eat there. Looked like a cool joint, grabbed a beer and decided against dinner, had a nice vibe. Irish pub with very little Irish pub food and not much in terms of good beers on tap. Restaurant smelled funny. Server was kind & patient. Since we didn't eat, didn't seem fair to give less stars but also not fair to give more when we wanted to eat there.

Great location. The outdoor patio was pleasant. Customer service was slower than expected during the lunch hour. Refills and a follow-up after the meals arrived would have improved the experience. The plastic chairs were unstable.

Whenever I travel for work, I look for places like this. The best staff I have experienced in a while. My beer never emptied... and the food was fantastic. Love this spot. What a crew! The owner should be proud of their staff.

Great bar to pull up and catch a game and have a tasty sammich! I used to come here all the time when I worked at the State Office building. They still have an expanded bar food menu and lots of made from scratch items. We had the Skillet burger and Bacon Jam burger. I got a side of aoli for my fries and I'm hooked. Next time I'll just get chili by itself. It was delicious and nothing weird added...just good ole chili yummm.

Excellent burgers and terrific service just before Monday nite Colts game. No reservations but no wait. Add a good selection of beers and the busy 'Cheers' atmosphere and you've got a casual dining winner. One alert: the front door is seriously heavy!

Pretty good local eatery that the Indy government reps we were meeting with recommended for lunch. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo and a serving of fries. The portion was large and the chicken was cooked nicely but there was barely any mayo on the sandwich. Service was friendly and attentive while the prices were reasonable.

Disclaimer: I've been coming here regularly for 6 years, so my review may be slightly biased. That being said, I truly believe that the food and service are top notch! While it may not be the cheapest option downtown, the food portions are generous, and they offer a decent selection of rotating draft beers, along with well-poured cocktails & shots. Seating inside is 21+ only, but the outdoor enclosed patio is kid and dog friendly! There is a super tiny lot, but it's reserved parking until 5pm, and then free to the public. Otherwise, easy (metered) street parking is also available.
