Louie’s Wine Dive Opens in Nashville - Eater Nashville

"Louie’s Wine Dive, a wine-focused restaurant and bar based out of the Midwest, unlocks the doors in Midtown tomorrow, June 1. Located in the first floor at SkyHouse Nashville, at 101 17th Avenue South, Louie’s Wine Dive will offer lunch, dinner, brunch and happy hour. Chef Bradley Hoffmann is the executive chef of the Nashville location, and the lunch and dinner menus contain items like cheese and charcuterie boards, four-pork gnocchi, fish and chips, ratatouille, two burgers, grilled guacamole, and more. The brunch menu offers various omelets, eggs Benedict, avocado toast, breakfast flatbread, and more. Louie’s Wine Dive not only serves wine, but craft beers and cocktails as well. The hours are Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Whitney VinZant and Corey Gonzalez started Louie’s Wine Dive in 2012 in Des Moines, Iowa. I am so glad I finally tried out Louie's! As a local I tend to go to the same spots over and over and this restaurant will be a great addition to our regular rotation. This visit we stuck to small plates and a wine tasting. I love that you can make your own flight and even choose the pour size. The olives, goat cheese and beet salad were each incredible and different from what I can get any where else. Our server was friendly, helpful and perfectly attendant. The corner setting is tastefully decorated and gives you a lot to look at and enjoy...such great attention to detail!

Nice concept! We enjoyed several items of the menu and several wines. Flights might be a nice addition to the menu, but overall the food and prices were solid. Especially the Monday night all night happy hour pricing! The cheese curds were outstanding.

A wine lovers oasis ! Absolutely fantastic trendy and chic retreat. Prefect date place! Korean taco and pineapple tuna nachos were beautiful and delicious.

We came for brunch and it was great. We got the beignets and they were extremely delicious! I've had them from Disneyland before and these were better than that! We couldn't stop talking about how the outsides were crunchy and the inside was so soft! Weve made them before too and ours never turn out like this. I would definitely recommend them. You normally get 6 but I had eaten 3 before I took a pic.

This was a really cozy spot for really wonderful small plates with, not surprisingly, an extensive selection of wines. Service was excellent and ready with opinions, options, and answers to a number of questions. Let them surprise you with a wine flight! Cheese board was good bang for the buck, and the kitchen made good use of unique, seasonal fruits and veggies. Get the beignets for dessert - they don't skimp there either!
