This my favorite childhood spot. My father would always take us after church. Even though I moved to Texas I would always stop for that famous Pastrami sandwich and it’s always filled. If you ever visit Compton, stop by and give it a try. Like my post after you taste it.

Somehow even better than the Long Beach Location (to be extremely clear, both are wonderful I just like this one a little better)! The drive-through was a somewhat long line, but that is to be expected on a late weekend night. They did a good job getting through the line efficiently. Chili cheese fries were so delicious, and a generous portion. It’s a bit out of my way to specifically come to this location, but I will definitely make the stop if I find myself nearby!

Whenever I'm in town I always come to my Louis Burgers, gotta have my chili cheese fries with pastrami, tomatoes, pickles and lettuce, don't knock it till you've tried it I promise you you be hooked

I seen on google that they sell Lettuce wrapped grill chicken breast. So I called to place an order. The women that answered was rushing me. I told her about the lettuce wrap and she didn’t have no idea what I was talking about then she kept saying is that it. I get it was lunch time. But overall the lettuce wraps was so good I wish they put it up on the menu.

Their slogan is "Best Burger in Town" and they are right. I was in the neighborhood and spotted this burger place, the smell from across the street of fresh charbroiled meat was intoxicating. Stepping inside was a whole different experience. It was peaceful and welcoming. The young lady at the counter was cheerful and courteous. Got two 1/4 pounder burgers for under $8.00. They differently are the best in town.

There's no debate about this place having LA's best chili cheese fries!! 😋 Want an exciting taste bud experience? Order the taco with the chili meat instead of ground beef. Thank me later 🧨🎆

Hood classic, breakfast, burgers, pastrami, chilli cheese fries with or without pastrami you can't go wrong. Clean establishment, good customer service. Great portion size and decent prices. Make sure to remind them to season the fries.

This is the LAST TIME we are ever going to this location! We keep trying to give them a chance because we grew up eating here since the 90s but this is absolutely disgusting! Chili definitely does not taste like the original chili, chicken was burnt & dry, fish patty for fish sandwich was literally thin as cardboard and hard, & club sandwich had rock hard bacon and super soggy bread. How does bread get soggy if it takes me 7mins to get home after receiving the food?? You can tell everything from that fish patty to the french fries to the chicken was REDONE! Fried & then RE-FRIED! In all our years of eating here, we have never gotten our food so quickly! The wait was long in the past but we always knew the food was FRESH! I do NOT recommend this location to anyone!!! $90 for food we did not enjoy!

I have been a long time happy customer of the Bullis location. I don't go often, but when I do, it's always been a pleasant experience as far as the meal that I buy. On Aug 30th, I decided to stop by on the way to work for a breakfast burrito. I actually live closer to the location on Atlantic, but I always prefer Bullis, so I don't mind driving out of the way. Anyway, I asked for no other meats, but bacon only. I get in my car and leave.. As I'm eating I tasted first the bacon had pieces that wasn't fully cooked and there were a couple pieces of ham inside. I didn't want that, but I didn't make an issue. I took a couple of bites and decided to finish the rest later. I never did because later on I was vomiting everything in my stomach up. I went back the next morning with the food and my receipt and requested to speak with the manager and explained to him what happened and if I could get a refund. He flat out said No..From the beginning, He started off wrong by constantly cutting me off with a barrage of questions as if interrogating me .. asking me why didn't I come back the same day. I told him I had to work and I didn't get sick until later. He also said, "How does he know it's them who got me sick?" Just very disrespectful and unprofessional. I can see him being justified if I ate the majority of it, then have the audacity to ask for a refund, but that wasn't the case. Rather than have things escalate, I requested the owners contact information. It could be social media or an email or a number. That was refused. The manager who I spoke with did give me his name Martin(Marteen).. I just don't understand the unprofessional attitude. Bottom line, I am proud of myself for keeping my composure because it was almost like he was trying to push me to get out of character. I just chucked that $11 as a loss and a lesson to never return there again. I'm sure the owner obviously doesn't care, based upon his responses to others on Google reviews. It's a culture taught. I did not want to publicly bash them, but I was left with no choice... so here we are. My advice is no matter how uncomfortable you think you are making them feel, watch them like a hawk when your food is being prepared. Not because they will do something to it (the cooks have been there forever and are always kind and respectful and will speak to me every time).. I only say this because if something is off or wrong, it will definitely be your fault no matter what. Even if you stay 30 min away, no accommodation will rarely be made .

Delicious! As soon as you arrived into the parking lot and stepped outside, the aroma of juicy burgers surrounded you. It reminded me of a time in Mexico where I walked down a street with all these shops to the left and right of me, and found a "hole in the wall" restaurant with great burgers and glass-bottled Mexican coke. My boyfriend got the chili cheese fries and chili burger. Delicious ! Great customer service

I drove a long way to get THESE PASTRAMI BURRITO EXTRA PEPPERS I drove hours and sat in hours traffic getting home & yes it held up I still had plenty of meat Definitely WILL BE STOPPING BY AGAIN

They really have gotten soooo desperate they're charging for PICKLES???????? Lmaooo something that MOST PEOPLE ask them not to put on their burgers....i asked for a side of pickles and got charged 60 CENTS FOR SIX PICKLES lmaooooo imma post the receipt! I'm in tears! Man they did us dirty I was born and raised in Compton and grew up on Louis burgers so I'm always bragging about them but come on new years day & we got frozen bread sucks not to mention they didn't give us the exact order of fries we payed for when they literally told us all our order is there we don't need to check it so we didn't but when we got home we regret not doing it !! I called and spoke with them and they told me I had to drive back with the food and that's the only way to get a refund or new order terrible service it's like they new what they were doing it crazy why they would do that

I hate the prices keep going up but the food is definitely delicious and fresh. Fries always on point and service is friendly as usual. The inside is always quiet and clean. Anytime I'm in Compton I have to come by this is a landmark for us locals and was hurt when it was closed due to the electric issue fire. Great place to go eat with the family or solo

Food disgusting oily ass food I had to return it I couldn't eat it like this I don't understand how can people eat here awful food and customer service.

This is the only place I get my fried zucchini (extra crispy and extra seasoning on the side with ranch). It's hard to finish the entire zucchini on your own so it's better to share (plus it gets redundant after the 18th zucchini, trust me, I know!). I usually have it with a bacon cheese burger and a coke! Best place to get this combo in Compton! The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Been coming here since 2004 and these 2 items hasn't changed.

Good place for a cheat day , chilli is great , been coming here my entire life. The only thing is there are no burger specials. Fries and drinks are sold separately for most things.

Bomb cheeseburgers and fries with thousand island. Thousand island costs $1 now for each cup but it's a big portion. Lines can be long, but worth it. The renovation is definitely a lot better.

Fríes are trash I ask for my fries to be seasoned an they didn't seasoned them plus they are all saugy I won't be asking for fries anymore straight up not the same as before...

It's been some years since I've been here. Stop today and got the breakfast burrito and it's huge and very delicious. This is best breakfast burrito I've had in years. I can get three meals it's so big.

Went for breakfast & asked for my hash browns EXTRA KRISPY ! looks like I asked for extra mushy or for mashed potatoes... SMH ! Never Again ! Tams Up the Street would never !!!

Very good burgers and fast service when I went I love the hamburgers with french fries and smoothies. It's a nice place to go eat with your family it's suitable for kids and the place also has a television. It's a very big location and it also has a drive thru in case you don't want to eat there.

The food is great but the attitude of the girl taking orders on the iPad sucks. She didn't have a menu attached ro the iPad and when I told her I needed to see the menu board, she rolled her eyes and took a hard breath and walked off.

Ok the food here is good. I like some of the burgers and the chicken strips. The fries are my favorite part along with the thousand island. But ONG their beef burrito is the worst piece of hot ass I've ever seen. It's like a meaty gooy chili cheese mess that flops when you hold it and feels like throw up in your mouth. Do not spend $10 on that shit. For that they get a 3 star.

The food and the service since they had their "grand reopening" is trash. I went there to get a bean and cheese burrito, probably the simplest thing they have on their menu. I asked the guy at the window. Please make sure the cheese is melted. Just leave it on the grill for a moment. The guy refused to tell the cooks that I wanted my cheese melted. Then the manager told me to take it home and put it in the microwave! Why would I come to you to get food in the drive-thru, in my car, to take it home and put it in the microwave! Then he said, "I'll do it this time, but don't ask again." I got a refund.

It's back, I think they opened up again about a week ago! I like their chilli cheese fries but my order today was a little off. There wasn't enough chilli for the fries, still tasty good but way more fries than equal amounts of chilli cheese to make it chilli cheese fries! Otherwise service was good & price is right!! Glad they opened back up!

im honestly very disappointed on the owner how his ingredients are very low quality . By far never thought this place would sell very bad chicken dinner for 20$ and the peaces were the size of a finger . this place might had gotten a make over but there food quality has shrunk!

The food was no bad. I asked the. To swap out my chicken and onion rings because it has been the second time that they burned it. They refused said that's how it is now. Also the chicken was very small and very bland. Horrible food , the ranch tasted bad , and the thousand island was very runny. I asked to speak to the manager and they said no. It has certainly lost its integrity

I'm never going back to this hideous place. You must be wondering why their food is always cold and Their customer service really sucks. There is not one female in that place who is courteous. At all, all of them have a stick up there ass like if your asking them for handouts if you don't like your job, then quit and fine something else to do, but most definitely none of them have the slightest idea of what customer service means and the owner of that business well that's simple he doesn't give a shit how the consumer gets treated why because we are just another dollar more in his pocket that's why and the vibes we'll no different from the shitty service you pay for would I recommend it to anyone NOPE NOT EVER!!!

Honestly my family used to come here a lot, now I hate it here so much because (1st) the prices are ridiculous like c'mon charging me $1 extra for ranch, ik its not a lot but still, why? If I am already paying around 41 dollars for just 4 burgers and one packet of fry...go anywhere else and they complement you without even asking with 4 ranches. (2.) The lady at the drive thru (didn't get her name) was really rude. (would assume it was the manager because she was wearing all black...if it is I'd say definitely she's in need of a demotion) She was disrespectful towards my mother and even gave us a side eye. The only good thing was how fast the drive thru went so I'd say the ambience was okay i guess. Definitely do better.

Service is okay but the food isn't great anymore. It seems since they opened after the renovation the food is a hit or miss. We've ordered chili cheese fries, fish sandwich and regular fries. Some orders had undercooked fries and others had burned fish patties. The quality has been a bit on the poor side. It's a shame because they were once great and this was our go to place.

My wife and daughter saw this on TikTok and we were out and about in LA and were hungry and said Let's Go. It was a wise decision of my wife to say let's eat. So we pull up and the drive thru is packed, so it could not be that bad if the drive thru is loaded. We ordered the Chili Cheese Fries with Pastrami, a French fry, 2 plain patty melts for our daughter's and a lemonade. The Patty Melts were the $&@?. The Rye bread just made it even better. The cheese and beef Pattie's were on point. The lemonade was really good sweet as it should be when you are in the hood. I grew up in Cleveland and when we made lemonade or Kool-Aid, if it was not 90% sugar you would not drink it and this brought up good memories. Only thing is there were no refills, so down graded a half a star. The regulate fries were good and crisp and my other daughter ate them up. The main reason for going was the claim they made the best Chili Cheese Fries. Well they do make the best we have had in a long time. The chili and cheese were so good. However, they lose another half-star due to the Pastrami did not taste like Pastrami. It was like a combination pastrami and Al pastor. It was a little oily. Overall, definitely a place to go and to get PM and CCF's

Forget your diet if you are going to Louis'. This is not for those on a diet or a vegan. They have the best greasy chili cheese burgers and fries in town. They are so tasty. The place does not look like much, but it is clean and the service is very nice. You can go through their drive thru, eat there, take away from the counter or have a third party company pick up. Everything is good. They also have great sandwiches like, pastrami, ham and cheese, chicken breast, and turkey. They even have melts and they are great. You will like everything here. Have a great time.

Wow! What happened to Louis burgers. This had been a city staple for a many years but after re-opening I have to say they lost there touch. I tried the chili cheese fries recently and the taste was not it. We used to love the chicken dinner but now it's a little bitty half a chicken with nasty French fries and uncooked onion rings. Very disappointed not sure if there is a new owner or new cook but I have a feeling it will no longer be the burger spot it was for many years.

The food there is way better than tom's jr or McDonalds!! I love adding avocado to the sandwich named "Chicken Supreme" or "Spicy Chicken" and the service work so quick and nice to the customers

Celebrated my retirement with a coworker. What huge meal sizes. Whew! My 1 meal became 2.

I have only been here for the chili cheese fries with pastrami. This is an awesome entrée. It is big enough to feed two people. This is also a great appetizer for a few people. If you're Counting calories, then this is not something that you would want. There's Tons of grease in it. It does taste fabulous. There is plenty of chili cheese and pastrami on top. There's a lot of workers behind the counter taking care of all the customers. They work efficiently and are pretty friendly.

Finally, they re-opened! Their cheeseburgers are as good as before, can't say the same about their fries. The fries were unseasoned and not crispy. I hope to have a better experience next time.

Five stars because they have the best charbroiled burgers, fries, salads, onion rings, chicken tenders and chili cheese fries YUM!!! The area might not be the greatest and it's ok, just take it to go. I've are inside and it's clean and the customer service is ok. It's a must try! Don't miss out YUM

**THEY REALLY HAVE TO GET A CONTROL ON THE PPL WANDERING THE PARKING LOT. IF I GAVE A DOLLAR TO EACH INDIVIDUAL APPROACHING MY CAR I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY MY MEAL** The food always on point! Ever craving a guilty pleasure this is the place to be. The chicken salad delish! Its grilled chicken with great flavors & moist. Now! The Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger! Oh M Geee & the Chili Fries. I can't count how many places I have tried their chili fries & its nothing compared to Louis. I've heard ppl brag about The Hat & I have to highly disagree. We always order the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger split that & share the chili fries. Sometimes we'll just share the chili fries BUT have Pastrami added to them =) if you ever pull up & the drive thru line is long don't let that scare you their service is fast.

They will get you order wrong even though it's on the receipt!! Waste my time had to go back and forth to only be inconvenient with long line . Plus someone harassing at the window so I couldn't get my correct order.

Horrible customer service they snatched and through my form of payment to me. I asked to speak with a manager and he literally didn't even see what his employee did to me and he immediately stood up for her and said no she didn't no she didn't as a kid going growing up eating Louis it shows now that everything is watered down ‍
