Great food ,service and location. We stopped by for brunch, 5 people , excellent . Waiter David was great. Seated quickly, served fast. Outstanding house bread.

I adore Louise’s Trattoria. The food is great and they treat you like family. My fave spot in LA to have a chill dinner. You can sit inside in a comfy booth or sit outside and enjoy the street life of Larchmont. My fave dish is the Garlic Shrimp pasta, but I get it without garlic. Kudos to the kitchen for accommodating that request. The staff is an absolute delight, and we look forward to seeing them and catching up. So thankful for this cozy, welcoming neighborhood restaurant!

I share this with the most spontaneous discovery of this place. The ambiance of this whole street and the restaurant's outdoor dining area were really nice! Came by on a Wednesday afternoon, ambiance was amazing, there was a live music nearby. We sat outside and were served delicious cubes of bread. I can't recommend enough Pappardelle & Italian Sausage, so creamy and rich, except I customized with shrimp instead and no spice (just a heads up the shrimp alternative was $9 extra for like three to four on the plate). Nevertheless, genuinely I have not tasted a pasta sauce this good. Food came in quick. Definitely coming back to have the same as well as try the tiramisu, as there was no appetite left after this delicious plate.

Really enjoyed eating here; food and service was great. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, I would pass on the pizza. Next time I’ll try a pasta dish and a cocktail.

Came here for a quick bite was greeted quickly and sat down. Love the setting here and was clean. We started with an appetizer of 'Nonna's Meatball' which was really good. Hot and fresh topped with plenty of Parmesan cheese. The bread on the table was really good with the little dabble of oil to go with it. We also ordered a 'BBQ Chicken Pizza' which was really, really good. The crust was just perfect not too soft and not too crunchy just the way I like it. The server was attentive and came by to check on us to make sure everything was good. If your shopping around here would recommend 100%.

The restaurant is small, so I think it's easily packed & difficult to walk through during a Saturday evening. They do have outside seating, but it was a little too cold for me, so inside it was. The server was clearly overwhelmed but still nice, his perceived panic and racing around put me in a panic, so I opted not to ask too many questions and just proceed with my order (this is a me issue, not his fault). I ordered brick pressed chicken and garlic mashed potatoes. I opted to remove the mushrooms and artichokes. The meal came out in a timely manner, was hot, and looked delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't seasoned, which is a pet peeve of mine. It seems like a lot of restaurants depend on the sauce to flavor the meat, but that generally fails, and it honestly is disappointing. The mashed potatoes didn't have significant flavor either; the bread was the best thing I ate. I believe the meal was $33 with a tip (no drink), which isn't that bad for a meal I really enjoy, but this was average or below, so I won't likely eat her again unless someone else is paying. However, I wouldn't discourage anyone from going because it can be a vibe, and I'm very picky!

Don’t get me started about this place. I’ve only traveled to LA like 2-3 times and I have eaten here 3 times. I brought my friends this past time and they CLEANED their plates. Their fettuccine alfredo is the BOMB. I mean everything they have is good, but that’s what I always good. Chefs kiss to this place.

The shrimp scampi pasta was tasty and pizza was appetizing but the hostess was trying hard to be nice in the beginning but the dislike attitude toward customers was very obvious. One of the server was very attentive and nice but OUR server only showed up when it was to get our check. She greeted the guests who were seated after us. Some of the reviews are on point with the service they received.

Come here during brunch and try their avocado toast. It is a culinary experience you won't forget. Service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is relaxing and casual Friday style.

Feels like I hit the jackpot dining at Louise's Trattoria! My love for Italian cuisine upped a level after having this huge serving of the most delicious succulent chicken marsala I have ever had honestly! Each bite was moist full of flavor, perfectly cooked topped with thick, sliced mushrooms to absorb all that wonderful gravy. What a bonus surprise that for $25 (M-Th) you get a prix fix menu that includes soup or salad, main entrée and slice of tiramisu. I had to pinch myself Our waitress has been working there over 25 years and it shows in her friendly, professional, efficient service and tableside manner.

This place is proper! We came here around 7:45pm on a Saturday night and we got seated right away (party of 5). Our waitress was beyond friendly and gave us a rundown of the menu. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was beyond delicious! They even gave us focaccia bread that was warm and straight from the oven. Honestly, I've been to many Italian restaurants around LA this one is in the top 3 and I've been to Italy multiple times very delicious! The ambiance was great small inside but spacious enough to have many people and very clean as well. Parking: Multiple street parking on Larchmont, I highly recommend circling for parking on Larchmont. It is a pay meter parking.

Came here alone on a Monday night and every single person working tonight was absolutely amazing. The most warm and friendly service and it was so nice to people watch here and see the staff treat the customers like they were family. It was so sweet. The food was also delicious. I had the presto set and loved the focaccia and soup. The linguine with clams was also yummy and i loved the tiramisu cake. I'm so satisfied and will definitely come back the next time i'm in larchmont. But overall the service was great! They do get a little busy but if you don't mind then this is the perfect spot for you

Louise's Trattoria in trendy Larchmont Village has been a local staple for almost two decades, serving Italian style food. Street meter parking is a challenge but if you get lucky, 2 hours max. There are a few pay to park lots in the village. This restaurant didn't have a wait for seating compared to Great White restaurant which had 25 minute wait during lunch time. Was out with my niece, who prefers vegan and gluten free foods and the menu had a decent selection. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and is pet friendly. We sat outside beneath a parasol for shade during a lovely sunny day in LA Ordered the signature Louise's chop salad, which we shared. This salad was delicious and I could have eaten this salad as an entree as is. My niece ordered a gluten free and vegan penne bolognese. Upon presentation, it looked good but since I'm not a fan of fake meat aka Beyond meat alternatives, it was all for my niece to enjoy. She ate about 1/3 portion and boxed the remainder togo. There is a Louise's located on Pico Bl in WLA, which I have been to years ago. My last visit at this Larchmont location was over 15 years ago. Not much had changed, the food hasn't changed either. I would consider this restaurant as an Italian food diner which is great for families, it's kid and dog friendly. Our waitress was cordial, attentive and nice. Unfortunately, our waitress had zero help from any servers or other staffers to help clear tables, wipe clean and disinfect the tables/seats and bring out the food. The waitress did most of the work. The restaurant wasn't too busy, yet the kitchen staff were slower than usual preparing our food. If your time is limited I don't recommend dining here, the food takes too long to be presented. My niece liked the food, but I can tell she wasn't too impressed with the bolognese as she barely ate it. We both agreed the chop salad was delish, light and was loaded with various veggies was also full of flavor. For the salad alone gets my Recommendation.

The food's delicious here. We've feasted on their exquisite focaccia , chicken fettuccine, rigatoni bolognese, and tiramisu. This is definitely my go to Italian spot. It used to be affiliated with the one on Pico but not anymore. The service here is kind and bring you virtually endless focaccia. The ambiance is good whether you're inside or out. If you're in Larchmont and want Italian, this is definitely the place. Sorry CPK, Louise's got you cooked.

Came here last night with my friend wanted to try it since it was on his list of places to try. He's vegan and I'm vegetarian so we were glad to see a place that offered options for both of us. This is a nice place to go as a date, family or even just catching up with my friends. I had the roasted vegetable pizza while he had the bolognese rigatoni. The pizza was pretty good and was quite large for just myself. We also had the mista salad to start off with and that was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and checked in with us. Overall the place was pretty good and is one of the better Italian restaurants I've been to out here but nothing extravagant stood out to me as far as taste. Maybe I'll try the fettuccine next time.

Placed order for delivery through Uber Eats. Food was as good as always. Unfortunately the bread was not only half the size it used to be but no longer free; I paid $6 for 4 miniature pieces.

Excellent service, so many wonderful, tasty dishes! There weee at least five dishes I wanted to order, sounded so delicious: butternut squash ravioli, chicken piccata w/garlic mashed potatoes & fresh veggies, a goat cheese, beets,, & pine nuts starter drizzled w/balsamic glaze (yum!), to name a few. We don't live in the area but will definitely return every chance we get!

I tried the lasagna and the buffalo chicken pizza and neither one let me down. I don't usually care much for buffalo chicken but I would love to get it again from here. The lasagna could have used a bit more cheese but I enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly here and it's a great date spot with all the lights on the street outside.

Great eatery... no matter what you choose everything is delicious and the service. The staff is always so friendly and always recommend their delicious specials.

We had a really relaxing brunch on their sunny patio out front on Sunday after the Larchmont Farmer's Market. I had breakfast eggs benedict and he had the chicken parmigiano. Everyone was really friendly and the restaurant smelled wonderful and restroom was super clean. Big portions for brunch and dinner but they also do lunch specials and Happy Hour during weekdays.

Kids Love the Pizzzzzzaaaaa!!! Pepperoni and cheese combine. Soft and delicious specially when its hot!

The bread they serve at Louise's is amazing! If you're not careful, you'll eat too much and not eat your dinner! I get pizza here and it's definitely worth it. Their chicken parmesan is out of this world too! Major differentiator here was our server, Tess. Tess was outstanding and helped us feel right at home.

I was car-less on my birthday and wanted to order a nice meal in for dinner. I ordered two entrees so I could pick at both and have leftovers. Up first the Garlic Shrimp Pasta. I really loved the delicateness of the buttery pasta as a back drop to the shrimp. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. (I would have liked if it was accompanied by a couple slices of lemon) Lasagna was top notch! Layer upon layer of pasta packed with flavor. Every element of the dish complimented eachother. They sent everything you needed to dine. Plates, utensils, napkins. Grated parm, and as a special touch fresh warm bread. Very solid meal, I would definitely order again. Thank you for saving my birthday!

Great service, friendly staff, and delicious food! Right on larchmont street. Restaurant was clean and pleasant. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the Village special which were both great. We also ordered a gluten free pizza which was available in 10" and delicious. The arrabiata penne pasta was spicy as it should be. We will definitely be back.

Used to frequent the Santa Monica & Pico locations, thought it would be nice to have dinner at Louise's. It just happened to be our anniversary. Enjoyed the focaccia and waited for our main courses- there was a good stream of takeout orders being picked up and Tess our server brought out some minestrone for us to try while we waited which was an unexpected treat. We had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and sun dried tomatoes which has been my husband's favorite from years ago and the lasagna. Hot and delicious, husband was delighted his favorite was still on the menu. I had a lovely glass of Malbec to go with my lasagna. We were surprised with a delicious tiramisu to celebrate which was really lovely. Tess went above and beyond to make our evening feel special. We had a wonderful time.

Better than expected with large portions, however, the service was lacking. Can here on a Tuesday night and I got the Parmesano which was the chicken parm and boy was it filling and so flavorful without overdoing it. The pasta had a nice light cream sauce that blissfully balanced the chicken. We found it difficult getting the attention of the staff for water refills or asking for the check. Maybe they were short staffed and someone called in sick. It was surprisingly packed for a weekday night.

We went here after a book reading. It was not very busy so we were sat down fast, however it took the staff quite a bit of time to take our order. I enjoyed the scampi linguini and ate the whole thing. My brother had the spicy fusilli which he said was tasty.

Great Food! I love their meatballs and the chicken salad with the peanut butter dressing. It always fresh and delicious.

First time here! I wasn't initially going to eat here, but walked by Louise's and decided to eat here. Small little restaurant and I love pasta so decided to give a try. The bread they provide was so good, that was my first instinct the food was going to be great and I wasn't wrong. Their Caesar salad, Rigatoni and cheese pizza was delicioussssnneeesss! We had their regular pizza with cheese only and first bite I was in love. Their pizza dough was soft and melting the moment I tried, their rigatoni meatball sauce was bold and perfect. I will definitely come back!! Thank you for making great food !!

Louise's always offers very tasty dishes prepared and delivered by friendly staff. Ambience is nice inside and on outside patio.

Normally my favorite. Today we got the smallest cups of water and barely any bread. Trying to get attention of waitress was next to impossible. Not the place we've been coming for years.

Got two salads and some pasta. All was delicious. My salad had some roasted beets which were fresh. The salads are very large. Certainly enough for a football player's meal. Adding chicken really helped fill me up and the dressing was delicate.

I had lasagna. It was absolutely amazing. This restaurant would be able to make it a Manhattan and if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. The waitress was really cool and I would definitely come back and I recommend this business. The prices are very reasonable. Great choice for any dinner.

Food is sooo delicious! Their chicken parmigiana is amazing with the pasta on the side. It's so creamy.

The food price was too high for amount of food they serve. Customer service is slow for large parties. (16 persons). By the time they served the food to the last person in the party, the first group of the people (5) have already finished their plate. The initial wait for food readiness was 40 minutes. Food tasting was OK. having 3-4 shrimps on the shrimp dish for $26 dollars over pasta is over kill. I thin I had 3 shrimps. Not recommend for large parties.

Spaghetti and meatballs is $28 so i was hoping for handmade pasta. Instead they vouched for the factory grade option and it downgrades their handmade meatballs. Great minestrone soup(saves it from being a 3 star) Under seasoned yet massive meatballs.

Took the family to Louise's on Larchmont. It's a very underutilized restaurant and while we were fairly early for the dinner crowd, we had the place to ourselves. Shocking to say, as the food is simply excellent! We started with the baked cauliflower and the Brussel sprouts . I could have stopped with the starters. They were amazingly delicious. Nothing mushy or over cooked, fresh and filled with flavor. I highly recommend!!! We ordered a pizza for the table and went veggie. The crust was perfect. Not to thick or thin , just awesome. The mains were on point as well. Sea bass with angel hair pasta, chicken piccata with fresh vegetables and a classic spaghetti and meatballs. All excellent. The meatballs were the size of a small baseball. The portions are more than enough and there were definitely takeout boxes involved . I would have taken a few pictures but I was simply enjoying the experience. Great place and staffed with amazing kind people. Go there and enjoy. I will definitely be back to try out more items. You really can't beat the location. Great neighborhood with plenty of parking options.

Food was ok. Great bread, delicious wedge salad was good, my Seabass was horrible but Joel, our server, was fantastic!

We had a work dinner/ birthday on a Friday night at Louise's and it was fantastic. Thank you Julio and David for being so accommodating for our large group! Our server Senait was beyond wonderful as well! And of course the food was great. If you're craving Italian food this is the place you want to go. So many options that were delicious and they also have gluten free and vegan options as well. The Ahi Tartare, Crab Cakes, Meatballs, Cacio d Pepe, Rigatoni Bolognese, and Roasted Veggie Pizza were hits! Everyone was full and happy! :)

I remember years ago visiting the locations on Melrose , Pasadena and Los feliz. Los Feliz was my favorite location. Great food , awesome service. Is a shame there is one location only. I looking forward to visit soon.

Besides serving up delicious Italian food on quaint Larchmont Blvd, Louise's boasts the friendliest servers. Next time you come for some authentic pasta or pizza, look for Tess (center in photo). She's one of the best, and guaranteed to make your dining experience even more outstanding.

Louise's is a favorite stop when we are in LA. The food is always fantastic and the service excellent. The addition of outdoor seating has been a plus as well. No better place to end your day!

Food wasn't good at all. In fact it was so bland, that my friend and I got to go boxes so we could take the food home to put more flavor in it! Crazy Sadly I will not be back.

I so wish there were still many Louise's around L.A. county as it's a bit of a schlep for me but if I'm anywhere near Larchmont I insist on going here. I gave high recommendations for their pizza to several meat lovers and people who can have dairy on their pizzas and they were shocked at out tasty their pizzas were. But so are the other dishes too! The staff is incredibly accommodating, mindful, friendly and truly know how to treat you right. If you want to eat outdoors for those still having concerns of COVID--as the virus is still thriving--they have great outdoor seating too. Any negative comments about this place I really cannot fathom it nor can I relate. NOPE NOT HERE!! (sorry for the duplicate review. just consider me giving 5 stars for my friends)
