Louisiana Fried Chicken

This Louisiana makes sure the food is fresh and the prices are a bit better than others. The service is as friendly as expected but the promptness gets them the 5. Atmosphere is blah....pick up food and go vibe.

We got chicken biscuit fries waffles gumbo lemon cake mango slush and a coke. Let's talk about it! Yes the chicken was hot ! It was Not cooked all the way in all the pieces tho very disappointed. Biscuit good yet it seemed small. Fries seasoned good waffle was still hot gumbo Tasted extremely better then it looked loved the lemon cake mango slushy coke Not coking (fountain) Grandtotal $56 Yes I would go back I tell them fry the chicken hard and the get the gumbo again. I gotta try the fried rice next

Haven't had Louisiana Fried Chicken in years. This place was on the money. Still good tasting chicken. It was still warm after driving for 25mins. Love It.

This is the best Louisiana I know because the breast be breast size and everything else is good here too I got fried rice and my chicken and some fries delicious y'all not get jumbo shrimp this good from the fish market 😋 delicious also shrimp fried rice

Not a mask anywhere in sight. No masks on server, no mask on cook. Lady all rubbing her nose and cook back there sneezing. There was floured meat sitting out under a filthy bowl. The entire experience was appalling. This is nasty of there was no pandemic, YUCK

Every time I go the man never acknowledges you when you walk in. It took a really long time for my order. So the problem I have is I ordered red snapper. On their menu there is a choice between red snapper or catfish. What they gave me was neither one of those. I’m pretty sure I just paid $30 for tilapia. I won’t be going back. I’ll stick to Rosecrans and Crenshaw.

This is not the same chicken I grew up on in the 70's and 80's. I decided to try this place and was disappointed. I got a two piece breast and reluctantly got the gumbo. Chicken was bland and dry. The gumbo was just plain awful. People were nice , but the food sucked!

Open on Sunday till 8:30, not sure why google has refused my edit 3 times!! Small location with tables. Chicken is always hot. I prefer to go a little out of my way to get food here. Even order for delivery on Door Dash for my elderly mom.

I got the 4 piece fried chicken (breast, leg, thigh and wing). The chicken was a dark golden brown color. The skin was crispy. The meat was moist. Seasoning was good - not too overbearing. Great deal at sub $8 price.

This location doesn't miss a beat. There's plenty of parking seeing that it's shared with other establishments on the lot. Love the chairs that are supplied while you wait for you order. Menu communication is very clear. Employees move efficiently so the wait isn't long. The food is delicious.

I ordered 4 pieces of chicken .... Waited inside the establishment with friends and then we parted ways upon noticing that's not enough I go back to order more . My first experience was okay then the 2nd got a bit awkward . After ordering my food for the 2nd time myself and 4 friends wait inside for about 10 mins and there's about 10 other people inside we were told to wait outside ... only us not everyone else but us . I felt targeted because we just left the establishment and he didn't tell us to wait outside . So we waited about 15 mins still no food . I ask about my food and I'm given a bland answer so I felt as if he was trying to make a example out of me , 30 mins for 8 pieces of chicken no way I simply ask for my money back .. I felt targeted, the guy even laughed when I asked about my food ... we have to value our money in these communities because we keep these businesses afloat . Please read this and be mindful of where you're going

Love this location. Convenient, easy and the chicken is always hot and juicy. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because 9 times out of 10 they never actually open at 10:30am. My lunch break is at 1030-11 and most days they don't open until after 1045-11ish. Otherwise i have zero complaints.

I always ask for my chicken cooked fresh. Good service and cooked to perfection I've never hand and issue with my service this is my go to spot for good fried chickhen

Must have stopped here 200 times on the way to CSUDH and always got the nuggets. Always good. Left the area so have not been there for 25 years. Miss the chicken.

That lady in there be tripping. We always ask for fresh food and tell we don't mind waiting and she acts like she has to cook it.

The staff is quirky and a little hood lol, but the food never disappoints. We typically order the riverboat family meal: 16 pieces of chicken, large fries, and small fried rice. Be sure to ask for (included) rolls (sometimes they forget). Also condiments are upon request. Ranch is extra. Nice beverage variety.

Very friendly staff and pretty quick service. I get the same thing everytime so I can't say everything is good but the shrimp and catfish combo is the go to for me.

Been eating at this joint for over 10 years. It takes me 30-40 minutes drive but it's so worth it. I have been to many locations but this location is the best. The chicken is made fresh made to order and the seasoning is just right. Customer service is great very friendly.

This restaurant needs a serious upgrade. I did an online order and they sold out the Mac and cheese and didn't want to give sauces for all those tenders I ordered. The place was just old and out of touch. The soda machines didn't work neither did the credit card machine

Great looking deep fried bird but may be a bit bland in taste if you're used to the high sodium content in Popeyes chicken. The chicken here is similarly seasoned with cajun spices but won't make you thirsty from the saltiness. I ordered 4 pcs for $8 (breast, wing, leg, thigh) hot and fresh off the oven. The chain may not be black-owned anymore but the recipe is still the same thank goodness!

I used to go to this restaurant all the time for the shrimp fried rice. Last time I went the shrimp was spoiled Never again. I'm tired of these businesses cooking spoiled food and still selling it.

Wow!! My first time here and the quantity of the food exceeded my expectations. A 10 pc. Chicken strips comes with fries and rolls. This is enough to feed a family of four. The quality of the strips were good. Not like the fast food places where you wonder if there is chicken in it. I met some people that were waiting mentioning that they drive to come to this location due to the service and generous portions of food. The value meals are under $6. It can probably feed two people. I highly recommend this place!!

A rating of 2 stars = "Meh. I've experienced better." The funny thing about my better experience is that it was from ANOTHER Louisiana Fried Chicken spot. I've had chicken (and other things) from that ONE other LFC, nowhere near this place. I've always gone to that one because it came highly recommended by many of my peers. However, I had a sudden craving for it last night and opted against the out-of-the-way drive. Decided to check this place primarily because it was much closer to home. And I was getting really hungry, so... Ordered the 8 piece value pack with 2 sides of fried rice and rolls. Don't get me wrong - the chicken was delicious - not AS good as the other place, but it'll do. The rolls were what I expected. And their rice was nowhere near (in appearance or taste) how good the other LFC spot is. I now understand why people go out of their way to go to the original one I usually go to. I wish there was some consistency. I think I'll just stick to my original spot.

This is probably the worse Louisiana Fried Chicken I have ever at at. I ordered a 3 piece meal and the chicken wasnt fresh. It tasted like it had be under a heatlamp for a couple hours. On top of that they charge you .50 for jalapeno peppers that they cut in half and sell it to you with a slice of carrot. Will not be returning as the Louisiana Fried Chicken on Rosecrans and Crenshaw is blowing this spot out the water and is much better option.

I normally don't complain cause I've been coming here for years... they service today was horrible she gave my food to somebody else and putting some greasy ass chicken they got out the oil n a bad with some hard ass fries.. they don't deserve a one star at all big fail I do not recommend and I called in was waiting for 30 minutes have everybody they food that just came in

I haven't eaten here for decades. Way back then I didn't care for it much. It was the closest chicken place so we got it. It's really good. The crust is crunchy and tasty. The pieces are good size and not because it's thick with batter. The meat is juicy and flavorful. We got a big cup of gravy to go with it. I would definitely eat here again!

Found this one because the Carson LFC was packed, about a 5 min wait but chicken was fresh and fries had the perfect amount of seasoning, will definitely go back again.

It's a hit or miss here. No consistency. One day they rude and the next day their nice. One day the food is good and the next day it's bad. I been living in Gardena for about 20 years and my brothers always walking here to get food on days I decide not to cook or drive because its walking distance from where I stay. My brothers have put up with the rude customer service the daughter has giving them until today. I will not eat here no more. Also I had a peach cobbler here once and it was nasty. I don't know how long they had it because it was partially frozen and had no expiration date on it. The grease taste old like they use the same grease for two days. Fries are cooked super extra well done. It taste like I'm eating chips. I can go on and on. You decide your fate when you come here. Good luck! PS. Prices are slowly creeping up

Unfortunately this was the worst Louisiana ive been too. Fries were hard and tasted like they were fried in old grease. Shrimp seemed old and fried in the same grease. Wasted my money and lunchtime. Go on Crenshaw and imperial, or century and myrtle. Bomb

Always hot, always fresh. The manager is always pleasant, once she knows your face, she greets you like family. I recommend the nuggets or regular pieces of chicken.

NEGATIVE TEN STARS, repeat NEGATIVE TEN STARS. The service is horrible, super bad. I ordered a 2 piece with fries. One minute later I added on a wing. Instead of charging for a 3 piece with fries she just added on the wing which was significantly more. She got mad when I told her I wanted to be charged for a 3 piece with fries. I asked for 10 ketchups, she gave me 4 and when I complained she gave me 2 more. After I got my food I went to my car, looked in the bag and realized she forgot to include the additional wing I added on. She was angry when I showed her my food missing the wing I had added on. Never ever go here. Her being cheap with the ketchup and bad service makes this place a complete no. NEGATIVE TEN STARS, repeat NEGATIVE TEN STARS. The owner is arrogant and condescending to her customers. If you want to sell to my community, treat us with respect, not just a dollar sign. DON'T GO HERE EVER!

Fresh, hot chicken every time I visit this place. The lady who is always taking the orders is such a sweetheart. I would rank this location over the most hyped one on Manchester and Normandie.

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, but don't let the cover fool you! The fried chicken is excellent! The batter has some extra kick to it and crispy. LOVE THAT CHICKEN! The only part of the deal I didn't like is their sides. Their cornbread tasted like stale store bought. Also, mash potatoes were nasty. Next time, I'm getting just the chicken to-go. This place has seating for while you wait, but no one stays and eats there. It's more of a take out joint.

Awsome gumbo, tasty chicken and smoothies, cheap prices , easy phone in orders, nice people.

First time eating here and eating Louisiana Fried Chicken. Not too much to complain about since I've never been but the service was okay, speed was fine and the food is pretty good. Might come back one day.

If you close at 11pm then CLOSE AT 11pm not 1048 pm. And have a attitude yelling through the speaker like i was wrong for coming at 1048 when it's advertised you close at 11pm.

I've been living in Gardena almost 1.5 years now. I usually eat at the Louisiana on Normandie and Manchester. Just a few days ago I was starving and decided to buy one piece of chicken. I wasn't sure if I would like this location so I had my guards up LMAO. To my surprise I could not believe how fresh,crispy and perfectly seasoned the chicken was! I liked the chicken so much I had it again last night for dinner 4piece wings and fries with a roll for $6.00 and some change!!! This is my new spot next time I will try the fish and shrimp!

DISGUSTING!!! the bread was hard and the chicken was way greasy and like it had way too much garlic and the mash potatoes were favourless!!! all 3 of my coworkers trew our food out.

it was funny to see all asians working at this location! not only do they sell chicken but they also have a side menu of egg rolls and fried rice and boba! the location is not the best but the ladies were really helpful! i like that they helped us order because we don't come here much. we ordered the chicken and fish combo and it came out just okay. it was very greasy. it seemed like they used old oil to cook. ! i like the hot sauce they have but it taste very sour. maybe i should try their asian food instead!

There's not an really awesome place to grab chicken and fries nearby so I keep coming back. It's not like I'm going to write home about it, but it does the job. Price is okay, not good not bad. Like I said tho, unless something dramatically bad happens, I'll keep coming back.

They are horrible , their shrimp isn't clean, they sell you old fries, the bread is always hard, and they give you these small pieces of chicken when you pay a lot for a "meal". I paid almost 10 dollars and couldn't even get half my money back the woman in the front argued with me and said nothing was wrong with the food , what happen to customer is always right?

my husband went to get food thru their drive thru after arriving home he noticed that they didn't give him fried rice instead double chomein...well he called to say hey where's my rice.... The girl who answered said "well bring the food back and I'll change it" WTF really we live 30mins away and to begin with my husband wasn't being rude at all....and why you want the food back.... Gross they better not be reusing it... But the attitude this woman had was like really you talking like if you about to start your karate practice on him... Relax! I for one worked at a restaurant and know how hard it can be but I wouldn't question customer how this women did..... Food is overall delicious but this woman today just didn't make it happened. Three stars for good food

My first time there...First off, the chicken was smelling so good while I was taking it home...I just couldn't resist sampling it before dinner. My god...every piece is excellent....almost like the way Louisiana Fried Chicken was back in the day. My only regret is that I didn't get more than 12 pieces...I may go back tomorrow.
