Loulou

We were looking for a nice lunch before visiting Centre Pompidou, and were going to another restaurant nearby, but saw how busy this place was, even with locals, so we thought we'd give it a try. I have to say we were not disappointed!! It always pays to follow what the locals are doing!! We had the Angus beef and the pork for mains, and both were nice. Unfortunately, they ran out of clafoutis by the time we were ready for dessert, even though we had ordered on arrival, so that was a slight letdown, but the apple crumble was pretty good. The pinot noir was good too, and service was friendly and very helpful

My friend recommended this restaurant to me before I traveled here. I ordered lamb shanks, beef tartare and duck confit. The portions were really big and very satisfying. The price was very reasonable. I will recommend it to friends who travel here in the future.

Fantastic find after a long day walking around Paris. Delicious fresh food. Plenty for a vegetarian- I had an amazing Tegine. Service quick and very friendly. Live double bass and piano during the meal. Highly recommended

Everything from ambiance, service, food and drinks was TOP NOTCH! Our server Michele paid attention to our every need which made our dining experience amazing!!! I highly recommend Chez Lou Lou! I'll be back ☺️

The food is good and affordable, their baguette is especially fantastic. Located at the heart of Paris, Loulou is very easy to find and it’s a good place for tourists to try French cuisine. When my friend and I are here, there are some people singing and playing music instruments which makes the atmosphere very pleasant. Loulou also has plenty of seats, and the dining environment is comfy.

Delicious lunch at Chez Loulou. We are a family of 4 with two girls aged 10 and 9. We had chicken spring rolls, guacamole and mozzarella sticks to start which were delicious followed by caesar salad, the house salad and the smoked salmon salad. All were excellent. My husband and I also had dessert and can recommend the fig tart and the creme brulee which were superb. We have eaten in hundreds of restaurants around the world but the service here is outstanding! Thank you!!

As this restaurant is in a historical quartier, We have dined here few times. This time I wanted to try their recommended couscous with chicken. The service was great and quick however the same can’t be said about the tajine. The poulet (chicken) had no flavour and the gravy was chickpea afloat in a watery sauce. The copious size of couscous made up for this. I certainly will be back to try thé agneau tajine. Yet a great bistro to go for their menu and prices.

Overall a good experience at LouLou. Ended up eating the Couscous with beef, and the beef was very tender and flavored well. They do play live music, which if you’re not a fan then you will not enjoy that aspect as much.
