Café on the Green

First visit. Perfect for quick stops if you've booked a table or takeaway. If you want to stay for more than 90 minutes, this is not the place. The food was brilliant. We all chose our favourite breakfast options with a drink, followed by a sweet treat. The sweets are legendary, our original reason for giving the cafe a go. We're gonna stick with takeaway cake in the future. Parking is difficult at the location, so parking further away and walking, especially in good weather, is recommended. The cafe is dog friendly, for the well-behaved only, 3 barks and you're out.

Visited here as a group of 5 for a family lunch. Food was fantastic, tasty and super fresh. Great value for money too. If I'm being picky, the wait we had to receive our meals was a bit long, but to be honest, we had plenty of time. All in all, it was very enjoyable and will definitely be going back at some time.

Absolutely amazing experience. The ladies that work here are lovely, the choice of cakes is incredible and the scones look so delicious. The vegan breakfast was the best I have ever had in my entire time living in the UK :-) Super tasty! 100% Will be back again. Thank you.

First visit to ‘Cafe on the Green,’ and we’ll be back. Huge selection of baked goods; the cheese scones were absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff and dog friendly too - offered water and treats, so everyone happy! 🐶😊

Unbelievable breakfast. The cafe has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Great menu with food cooked fresh to order. GF and vegan options. Staff friendly, also dog friendly which is a bonus for us too! Gets busy - we arrived at 930 and by 10 it was full. Booking advised.

It was our second time visiting today and can’t wait to be back again! every member of staff made us feel so welcome and such a cosy friendly atmosphere xx all fresh and home made with such a wide selection to choose from. The Scones are absolutely delicious and today we had a yummy bacon,Brie and cranberry sconewhich 😋and a chilli chicken bagel with chips which were all so yummy and we can’t wait for our next visit to try more items from the menu! would absolutely recommend a visit you will definitely be back again and again xx

Just popped in for a spur of the moment breakfast. Lovely little cafe, really friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was excellent. Very well worth another visit as the cakes look amazing.

I have to say, I've been really impressed with the staff here. They're all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Plus, the tea they serve is consistently excellent. I haven't had a chance to try the cakes yet, but I've heard they're also very good, so I'm definitely planning to give them a try next time.
