"I note they’re also opening a dedicated sandwich spot called Lou’s Deli in an adjacent space, which will also include a bottle shop." - Candice Woo

This spot goes crazy with the Sandwiches. The menu is huge and each item slaps. Prices are decent and they don't skip out on the ingredients. I ordered the #8 Kevins Bacon. I also had the chance to try their reuben. Man! Flavors make you wanna hum. Customer service is very much "Detroit" You get what you get. When you come be respectful, be patient, and mind your business. The place looks like a regular deli with plenty of seating inside and parking outside. Open late as well so it's good for a late night craving. Definitely recommend to come through if you're in the area.

The service was not welcoming, the food was ok at it's best. My bread was burnt and sandwich wasn't the greatest. I've been here for years and the quality has just went down, now I prefer the oak Park location, at least if they're rude the food is good. I hate that staples in Detroit are losing their quality due to rude and unprofessional people.

Ordered via door dash link from Google for pickup. I was charged. I showed up, I had no number, they had no record of my order. We talked a few times, there was another Jason with a huge order. I only had a David's Drip. I never got my food, they could not locate my order. I am just going to have my CC charge back thos transaction. It is what it is, I would love to try the food. I will update of we can get this to work next time.

Well, I literally haven't been here in about 25 yrs easy!!! Of course, the price of everything has jus about doubled, though! I believe they are cashless, but will accept tips. Your order comes up pretty fast, but it takes a while for you to actually get it as the lady is doing too many other things as to actually give you your order. It's pretty ridy inside and jus as i remembered when my dad use to bring us here when we were much younger. I would return as the fries were delicious. I wouldn't get the eggs rolls again as they were skinny and tough. Not worth the price. And the chicken gumbo was ok.

I went yesterday. I got a super duper and a regular. On point! The lady that took my order was unprofessional and sneaky but thankfully management handled the situation that derived from my initial visit when I went back over there.

MAN THEY FELL OFF. If your old enough to have eaten here in the 70s and 80s, or the 90s you're going to be HIGHLY disappointed. Corned beef doesn't even taste like corned beef (salted bologna). Rye bread has NO rye flavor. The "meat" was sliced way too thick. So much sauce my so called rye bread turned to soggy mush. Purchased 2 sandwiches, and only ate 1/2 of one and a 1/4 of the other, threw out the rest in the trash. $30 of $45 in the trash. NEVER GOING BACK. Customer service was great though.

I ordered a corned beef in rye and a pastrami. The corned beef was excellent!. Large portion i made 2 sandwiches with it. 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The pastrami was a bit salty and oily. I'd give it a 3/5⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hate this location. I called in an order and drove all the way here for them not to have my order and to tell me to order again, which defeated the purpose of calling in. I rather drive the extra 10 minutes and go the Greenfield every time. The customer service is FAR BETTER.
