A great spot for Vegan food lovers in Laval. I went there with a friend. We had a great time and the food was absolutely great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything here is vegan so make sure you carefully read the menu when ordering. The theme of the place was great and their prices are average to other restaurants in this category.

Overall a really nice experience. The setting is great and they have a menu with lots of options (gluten free included). I got the pancakes which were amazing, for the price i thought maybe they’d be more matcha ice cream but it was just a small serving. But overall I definitely recommend these. My partner got the chicken waffles, which was good but the waffle was so dense. Yes vegan cooking is sometimes a challenge but a recipe change for that is definitely needed. Or maybe it was just the end of the batter. Service was quite slow, but our server was incredibly sweet and they had minimal staff in the kitchen. So on a busy Sunday it’s very understandable. Also surprisingly inexpensive!!

I really enjoyed their different approach of preparing traditional meals such as lasagna, creme brulee and many more. Although the tastes are not what I am used to, they were still tasty and amazing in their own ways. The appetizer, main course and dessert were all flavourful and enjoyable. The various textures and flavours that complement each other makes each of their unique and complex dishes delightful. Furthermore, throughout the night, we had friendly and pleasant service which, along with the soothing decorations and atmosphere, made the dinner experience ever more enjoyable. Although, it did take quite some time before we received our food and no one checked in on us even though we had finished our meals. My biggest complaint would probably be the portions served. For the prices they charge, some could say it's reasonable but I still find it small. Nonetheless, the food tasted great and I had an amazing experience.

I had some food delivered from here a couple of days ago, and I was not disappointed! The tacos were incredible; the tofu was fried perfectly, just the right amount of crunch to go with the soft shell. I really enjoyed the Kimchi Fries with the sauce, and I actually saved the brownie for later... It was delicious then, too. I'm happy this spot was able to deliver exactly what I needed:)

I am not a vegan but had my birthday meal there along with my vegan son. The risotto was delicious and very filling as well as the kimchee fries that my son had The table next to ours, had a very delicious looking burger that they polished off. The waitress was professional, polite and very knowledgeable about wine pairing. The atmosphere is superb, beautiful decor. More importantly, the bathroom was spotless. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back again and sample the rest of the menu. Thank you for making my first vegan experience a very memorable one. Since then, I have suggested this restaurant to friends and family whether they are vegan or not.

Google
Good service, great food. I even managed to bring a non-vegan friend and he had more satisfying options than he could've wished for. The decor is refreshing yet chic. The ambiance is pretty calm and comfy and the service was amaizing. We both enjoyed all of what we ordered and we're both very satisfied.

Google
LOVed this place. Always looking for healthy vegetarian/vegan places that are actually good. This place has aa chic atmosphere that is great for any date or going out with friends. They have a good wine selection and the food is flavorful and well-executed.

Google
This restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful places in Montreal/Laval. The decor is absolutely stunning. The food, however, is nothing special. We were a group of 6 and we each had something different on the menu; trying to taste as much as we can. I personally feel that this restaurant does not do vegan food justice. The desserts were good and the coffee made me happy. The staff was very friendly. I would perhaps come again to enjoy the decor and have a cup of coffee.

Yelp
A must for vegans... and not. Everyone can find something there. Gotta try their kimchi fries...omg! The décor ambiance is always nice. The staff super helpful (I have tons of intolerances ). Gotta have to be my spot from now on!!!

Yelp
What a delicious find! I had the lunch menu, which meant their potstickers (great peanut dipping sauce) and the cheeseburger (black bean) which were excellent. A little messy, but that's OK. I liked my cappuccino and the creme caramel dessert had a nice crunchy top, though maybe slightly too burnt. I am not a vegetarian, either. My wife didn't like her mushroom burger because it really wasn't a burger... they should call it a Fried Mushroom Sandwich. It was odd that no one came to seat us for a long time, even though three waitstaff clearly saw us. But once sitting, the service was great. I also liked that they had swinging suspended chairs the back for a break on the way to the bathroom.

Yelp
Went with a bunch a cousins and the food was amazing! Vegan food tends to be a little heavier since here's so much protein and carbs. But the taste was definitely on point :) Some of my recs: - Brussels sprouts - sweet potato fries - burger

Yelp
Hate it or LOV it. Carnivores beware! @lovrestaurant stays true to their roots, literally, with their plant based menu. We really enjoyed the Big LOV Cheeseburger. We can tell it's not real meat but daaaaamn! Menu is creative, staff is young & hip, and the decor is F-n' nice ! Show some LOV and check' em out @centropolislaval . Follow @JackyEatsMTL

Yelp
It was hard to decide on an overall score for this place, I hesitated between the 3 and 4 stars. Going with the food as the deciding factor, I had to give it a 3 star. The decor and service were definitely worthy of a 4 star. What was lacking for me was the food. This last year, I have been making an effort to increase my intake of plant based food so when I heard about LOV, I couldn't wait to try it. We tried several different dishes including the beet tartar, the quinoa fritters (a must try!), the BBQ burger, the Big LOV burger (weird texture), a side of sweet potato fries and onion rings, and for dessert the Creme brûlée (also highly recommend!) and a latte and cappuccino. Besides the 2 stand outs that I mentioned, everything was ok, not bad, but not amazing either. Also, since the burgers are served alone and sides have to be ordered separately, the cost adds up quickly. I have to say I'd choose the food at less pretty Copper Branch over LOV any day.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat and since he's vegan he suggest we go to lov since he'd been there before and likes the food. When we arrived the interior looked phenomenal there were plenty of hanging planter bowls and a vertical garden which was all fantastic to look at. The menu had many options so we decided to split everything we ordered ... and we ordered a lot ! We got the quinoa fritters, kale mac and cheese and fried buffalo Brussels sprouts to start. Although we had also wanted the dumplings we were told that they had unfortunately run out. The starts were all very good and I was happy that the buffalo Brussel sprouts were not overly spicy. The mango salsa on the fritters was also very good. For our main course we got the barbq jackfruit burger and the tacos ( because I had to give these a try) The tacos were okay but seemed to lack a bit of flavour they were very 1 note. However the jackfruit burger was delicious and one of my favourites from the night. We also treated ourselves to some dessert despite being veryyyy full. We got the caramel pecan cheese cake which was also pretty good. Looking forward to trying out some more options that I don't have to feel guilty about eating !

Yelp
Vegan in Montreal: lots of veg friendly options in a beautiful setting // I stopped into LOV early last year and immediately thought I had walked into an instagramer paradise... the menu is full of delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes, the service was warm and polite, and the ambiance was just positively lovely. Definitely a great place for a relaxing weekend brunch or lunch that you want to share with friends.

Yelp
First of all, I want to start my review by saying that I'm an omnivore. I see food, I eat food. My favourite type of food would be sushi and japanese chicken skewers. That being out of the way, I was blown away by the food from this restaurant. It is a vegan-friendly restaurant with a lot of gluten-free options for those that have Crohn's disease or those with celiac disease. We made reservations since we were afraid it would be full, and we arrived at 5:45pm on a Saturday evening. It was already packed! To give you guys a little advice, RESERVE a few days in advance! Started off with two drinks, I had a Kombucha Mojito and a Basil Paloma as cocktails. They are on the pricier side, but they were definitely on the stronger side. For our starter, we had the Quinoa Nuggets. It came in 5 pieces with a nice mustard sauce with fresh spinach, a type of pico de gallo, and some fresh herbs. That might have been my favourite of the night, but... then we had the Kimchi Fries, that stole the show. I loved the tangyness and the spicyness of the Kimchi along with the nice crisp from the fries. Definitely my favourite (Kimchi Fries that is, I hope I'm not confusing people). We had the tofu burger and Big Lov burger. They were alright, but the only problem with the Big Lov burger is that the patty kept slipping out. I had to eat it A&W-style and used both of my hands to keep the patty in (greasy and saucy hands warning). We finished the night with a "cheese" cake. It was really good and had a good consistency to the "cheesey" part of the cake. Bill came in and it wasn't shabby, not crazy expensive but definitely not on the budget end. Then again, we did splurge to get a drink each, an appetizer each, a main dish each, and a dessert to share. As a carni-omnivore, I approve this restaurant.

Yelp
I was at Centrepolis and I saw this beautiful new restaurant called LOV. It was so beautiful that I had to go inside and see what kind of restaurant this was. I asked for the ne u and sat in this chair/swing. I quickly realized that this was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and this got me really excited. Although i do eat meat but I also love how they can create recipes that imitate meat or dairy. I have tasted many veggie burgers that I love or vegan cheese that was truly tasty. As it was still a bit early for supper, I asked the girl in front if we needed reservation, she asked me when will I be back and I said about an hour and she said no you will be fine. So I left and came back in about 45 minutes. There was another girl in front, I told her i wanted a table for two and she asked if I had reservations, I explained that I was just there and her colleague told be no reservation was needed. She said we don't have space u can only sit at the bar. Although this was not ideal but I agreed. We ordered veggie lasagna with imitate bolognese sauce with vegan cheese and Caesar salad and a mushroom risotto. The lasagna was very average, the vegan cheese was not so good. The Caesar sauce was really not good. But the worst was the risotto, the presentation was ugly and the taste was worse. Honestly, it looked like someone had already eaten the food once. The smell was too much. It wasn't good at all. The only positive is that its looks really noce inside, fresh, spring look. But I personally did not like the food at all.

Yelp
I have been to LOV a few times, both at the Centropolis and McGill locations. Before yesterday's visit I had only been for supper (where kimchi fries are a must). This was my first brunch. We ordered three main dishes, and two extras on the side: the "Cabane", kale mac and cheese, and the apple pancakes as mains, and extra apple and maple sausage as well as "tempeh de Lupin" on the side. For drinks, we stuck to coffees: latte, cappucino, and americano. The "Cabane" was great, a generous portion of beans, potatoes, sausage, avocado and cherry tomatoes that comes in a cast iron pot. The flavours remind me of a sugar shack meal, which is what the dish was named after. The apple pancakes were really good, and gluten free to boot. If you are not GF you might have an issue with the texture not being exactly the same as wheat flour pancakes, but if you are familiar with GF baking, you know the struggle. The pancakes came topped with fresh fruit and a type of spiced (cashew?) cream. The kale man and cheese was not the best batch I have had from LOV, I preferred the one I had on McGill (there was an extra tang that was missing at Centropolis). But overall still a solid option. Now, the secret to brunch at LOV is to order some extras on the side, they are low priced and the portions are much more generous than I expected for the price. Don't skip out on the tempeh de Lupin, if you don't like tempeh, it will change your mind. The texture is great, and the sauce is rich and tangy. Coffees are quality, I recommend those as well. The whole bill for 3 people came out to 64$ (with tax, before tip). We came with big appetites and left there full. I give 5 stars to LOV for brunch based on quality of ingredients, service, decor, and quality/price ratio. Extra tip: I suggest you reserve a table for brunch, space is limited and it is a popular restaurant.

Yelp
Well I went to the famous LOV. I was excited to see the new Vegan place available in my hood ! One thing street parking here is crazy try for one of the parking lots around the restaurant though. The decor inside is clean and fresh with Macrame hanging on the walls. They have the option to sit inside or out on the patio. Usually you don't need to make a reservation but you can make one. Also there is seating at the bar that you can grab. The menu is filled with amazing items. I do not however recommend the fritters. The portion is very small and I did not enjoy them at all. The next time I went to the restaurant I had a power bowl and an avocado side salad with tofu that was absolutely amazing ! They also have amazing tea and you get a whole pot of water which is nice in comparison to most places. I was impressed with the decor and some of the menu. I mean for a Vegan place I was excited it would taste and be amazing but I was a bit disappointed. The service was very slow which I didn't enjoy. We went on a Sunday and it's there all day brunch. It took an hour long that time for my food and the rest of my meal to come which really unimpressed me. Tips: Have patience when you are here it takes awhile to get food, pay the bill and leave. Some of the dishes are okay but nothing too magnificent.

Yelp
The food is always amazing fresh and flavorful. The vegan nachos are incredible as is the curry. The staff is fluently bilingual and very helpful. I love coming back with different friends every time. Must try the lov burger and their home made ketchup. Keep it up guys. All you need now is some of my vegan peanut butter cupcakes

Yelp
I'm hesitant about rating LOV after only one visit. Admittedly, I was disappointed when my expectations were shattered upon receiving the menu. After seeing the supper menu online, I was looking forward to the supper options. But we went at 1:30 p.m., during brunch hours. The brunch menu is very simple--too simple, in my opinion. I'm not vegan, but I enjoy vegan restaurants occasionally; I have seen much more elaborate vegan brunch menus. Only one item on the menu tempted me--"La Cabane." When the food arrived, my disappointment was replaced with curiosity. My meal came in a hot cast-iron bowl. I enjoyed discovering the different sections and layers--turmeric potatoes, vegan sausage, maple baked beans, and kale, garnished with avocado, grape tomatoes, and a sauce. The kale, beans, and vegan sausage were good. The potatoes were under-seasoned (a little more salt or seasoning would have helped); the sauce was flavourless. I also ordered a hot lemonade, which is essentially ginger tea steeped with lemon and (I believe) thyme. This was excellent. My meal, overall, was three and a half to four stars. The meal was very heavy, though. My husband finished my potatoes for me. What locks in the four stars is the decor and atmosphere. LOV is so bright and inviting, furnished with white wood, glass, and touches of green. I'd like to return to LOV for supper and adjust my review based on that experience.

Yelp
I don't have the opportunity to try vegan and vegetarian restaurants all the time since my friends and family are all carnivores, but when I do, I like to go try new places and that's what happened when I tried LOV last March. I'm a pescatarian and one of my friends is a vegetarian. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, the walls are decorated with beautiful plants, they have gorgeous seating areas, the bar in the middle is very modern and the bathrooms are beautiful as well. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our waitress was lovely and she knew exactly how to answer our questions. As soon as you walk in and get the menu you'll get a little disappointed since it's very small. I started with an iced latte with soy milk which was delicious but small (especially for 5$). Then, I tried the Avocado Toast which didn't mention on the menu that it had coriander which I HATE, and a lot of people too by the way, so I was surprised they didn't mention it on the menu. The toast was good but left me hungry. So I ordered a yogourt. It was delicious as well, and that filled me up. I was full but not in a gross i-couldn't-walk-after way. My friend tried their Shake-Shack casserole and said it left her a bit empty despite it being very good, she had to order the Beyond Meat sausages as an extra. My other friend had the breakfast potatoes and the salad and said everything was delicious, but again, it wasn't anything too fancy, especially for the price. Despite that, the quality of the food is astonishing, everything seems fresh and definitely organic/biological and nothing felt artificial. Overall, I can understand that vegan and vegetarian food is more expensive, especially for the quality of the ingredients they're getting. I would like to try this place again for lunch or dinner because it didn't meet my expectations for brunch. I really hope they update the menu soon and make it bigger and fuller.

Yelp
Great service. Love the Kimchi fries. Tofu burger could have been better. It was a bit bland after the fries.

Yelp
My Complaint at LoV was their 2 For 1 Promotion. My Daughter and her friend (13yrs old) had a brunch alone this past Sunday. When it was time for the Bill they were not allowed the 2/1 but was only on 2/1on individual selection. En Bon Francais "Arnaque". The only item they got was a free coffee they ordered the same items. If you are going to promote 2/1 then do it right. and not try to swindle 2 13 yr olds. The waitress had to call the manager...like really. After they got back we reread the famous coupon which was diligently sent to everyone. No mention as to the aforesaid items or maybe i didn't read the fine Lawyer print. Next Time save the planet ( with needless mail that is in all honestly False advertising to your I am a Vegan I'm better than everyone attitude) Dad

Yelp
Excellent vegan cuisine. The lasagna is delicious! Missing the lumber jack breakfast dish they used to have it was out of this world; don't know why they removed it from the menu. Some of the servers need to be friendlier. Great location.

Yelp
We chose to try Lov because it was close to our hotel and we wanted to try something different. We are far from being vegans and never gravitate towards vegan/vegetarian foods, but their dishes won all of us over! We got there around dinnertime on Monday thinking that it would be okay without having a reservation, but when we got there we were advised that there was no space and that reservations are strongly recommended (tip: make one!) However, the host was really nice and told us to wait for about 10 minutes to see if the next two parties show up or not. After sitting in these cute rattan egg-chairs for a minute, he told us that there was a table available and got us seated quickly. We had the kale mac and cheese, truffles and caviar, coconut curry, and mushroom risotto. The mac and cheese had a sauce made of some sort of squash, and was pretty close to a real cheese sauce in terms of consistency. The truffles and caviar had a zucchini spaghetti base... I've always been wary of veggie spaghettis but this was delicious! The other two dishes had fresh flavour too. We ended dinner with a hot matcha latte, a cold one, and hot chocolates. They were good and presented quite nicely, but nothing too special. Lov is a light, airy, garden-like space and perfect for an intimate dinner, but still great for larger parties and conversations. I would probably return on our next visit and hope that they expand and open one in our city!

Yelp
i went here with my friend on a friday night when they were completely booked but we were seated at the bar which i LOVE! the cocktails here are amazing!!! i didn't expect it to be this good. i had the spaghetti truffle which was okay(taste was great but sauce too watery) but my friend got the general tao tofu which was soooo yummy!!!

Yelp
I have been wanting to try LOV forever... so maybe I had high expectations. The greeting at the door was friendly and the decor lovely, all whites and greens. I asked the waiter to help us sample the most popular dishes and so we tried the following: Oh my avocado: pieces of radishes and avocados in cucumber water with sesame oil... that's it! Nothing more. Very uninspired and flavourless. Nachos with organic cheese: very good. The beans were perfectly seasoned. Quinoa fritters: just like eating uncooked batter. Very unappealing texture. The turmeric mayo had no taste at all. Banh mi: the bread and condiments were excellent but the tofu itself was deep fried, yet completely unseasoned and not marinated. Like biting into a brick of tofu straight from the package. Kimchi fries: If you enjoy kimchi, this is a good option for you. However there was almost no aioli in this so it's basically just cabbage and fries. Onion rings: The batter is completely tasteless and so was the vegan mayo. All you taste is oil. Vegan cupcake: Frosting made with shortening and lots of it. Cake itself was moist but tasted weird, like grass somehow. So unfortunately I don't think I will be visiting again. This food is just very bland.

Yelp
Went twice so far and really enjoy it very much! The service is really good and the quality of the food is impeccable. Definitely recommend it if you are open to vegan recipes.

Yelp
Unfortunately, my group and I did not have a pleasant experience when dining at your restaurant today. This was mainly due to the waiter who was attending to us; a young man named Alexandre. From the moment that we arrived, we felt as though Alexandre was rushing us. He was impatient while we were trying to figure out what to order and proceeded to speak to us in a very rude tone for the duration of the evening. He never came to check on us during the meal, which resulted in us going to see him several times so that we could order additional items. As we were leaving, he made one of our party feel very uncomfortable by insulting her appearance and implying that she was not feminine enough. Other customers at the restaurants, who were not with my party, even commented on the waiters rude behavior while we were departing. We were all very excited to try this restaurant, however by the end of the night we all agreed that we will not be returning here due to the terrible service.
