Words cannot describe how awesome this place is! I had 3 drinks in the time I was here because the syrup was so good. The earl grey syrup in their classic matcha latte is AMAZING. Cute little location with great easy parking, lots of table space, and Taylor & Logan are SO NICE. I’d be back every day if I could!

Loved my matcha here!! I ordered an iced matcha latte with salty honey vanilla bean syrup (owner told me it was house made!) and it was very well balanced and delicious. My friend ordered a hot latte and also really loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Cute little shop with DELICIOUS matcha. It’s literally a tiny building where you just order then can sit outside - imagine a food truck but you can go inside to order. There isn’t much parking like most thing Austin, but for a quick grab and go, this is convenient. One of the best matchas in Austin and not too far off 35!

You will not find better matcha in Austin. The staff are incredibly friendly and it’s a really cute, little corner in Austin!

This place is amazing!!! Great vibe, incredible matcha- I got an iced oat latte and it was delicious!! This is real matcha, if you’re a fan of matcha you can really tell the difference in the quality!! Soooo good!! I will definitely be coming back!!

Best matcha in town! So well balanced, creamy and delicious! I ordered the salty honey vanilla bean latte with double matcha and vanilla cold foam. Can’t wait to come back! The girl working was so kind and helpful as well.

HIDDEN GEM - you will feel like an explorer to get to this shop, but if you find the white jeeps and the sea foam painted fence, you have arrived. The shop owners (Taylor & Logan) are so lovely and they don't compromise on quality. The matcha we had was hand whisked, one cup at a time, and the foam on it was top notch. We got hot matcha because it's 30° out but I can see this place being a gem in the summertime as well as they have a somewhat shaded patio outside (A rarity in Austin!)

Enjoyed my first experience at love lamp! The location was a bit hidden, and the gravel parking lot near the entrance could use some spot signage for more clear parking. The store itself is quite small, with just enough room for the stand and a couple people inside, but the outdoor mural/table was very cute! I was greeted by a very friendly employee who was outgoing and asked for my drink preferences. I appreciate their focus on customizing your drink to your liking, would recommend that they continue asking for ice level/sweetness preference. Not the best matcha I’ve had, but was definitely solid - I could see myself stopping here if I wanted some on the go rather than making it at home.

Love this cute little shop, a hidden gem! Got an oat milk matcha with cherry syrup. Had good flavor, very smooth! Kind of pricey for the cup though.

Awesome little shop that is super cute but closes a touch too early! I love getting their blueberry matcha and having a vibey place to chill out and do some work on my laptop.

I went in with high expectations, as it was the only dedicated matcha spot around. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed the matcha was much lighter in flavor than I prefer. The place is very small, more of a grab-and-go setup. I really appreciated the effort put into each order. The server prepared every drink authentically, whisking the matcha in a bowl by hand, which shows dedication. But I personally enjoy a stronger or more balanced matcha, and this one leaned too light for my taste.

If nothing else, come here for the adventure of finding it. At first glance, the map might make you think it's in the shopping center with 99 Ranch Market at the northeast corner of Lamar and Airport (sometimes called The Crescent). It is not. Instead, if you're heading north on Lamar, turn just before the train tracks onto a side street that feels more like an industrial area than an area that would have a tea shop. Drive to the end, and you'll spot a seafoam-blue shed with "Matcha" and an arrow. Follow the arrow, and in the far corner of the parking lot, you'll find even more of that seafoam color--and you've arrived. The menu is small, featuring just four matcha drinks, but the quality is solid, the baristas are friendly, and it looked like they had a rotating blend of unique syrup flavors. There are a few outdoor picnic tables under the shade of some trees, making for a nice, laid-back spot to enjoy your drink. It's an unexpected but charming matcha shop tucked away in an industrial park, and while they have another location on Barton Springs, the original is worth checking out for the experience alone.

We drove 30 minutes to get to this place and there's no restroom!!!!! It's so annoying

Matcha was really good and quality! Hand whisking the matcha right in front of you. Service was great and super fast. Location is painted very cute, but a little hard to find from north Lamar. I recommend using Waze not Apple Maps.

Earl grey matcha... YUMMM. I have also had their cherry matcha which was seasonal for Valentine's Day. Loved that as well

One of the best matcha lattes I have ever had! The barista was very friendly and welcoming, and did not skimp on the matcha powder like so many coffee shops do. It's tucked away in a quiet corner, and I definitely would have stayed to read at the tables outside if it wasn't for the rain! l got the iced matcha with oat milk and homemade thai tea syrup (they also had an earl grey syrup or just plain agave option) and it was phenomenal, will definitely be coming back!

I recently visited Love Lamp Matcha and was absolutely blown away by the experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with excellent service and a calming design that perfectly complements the matcha. If you are new to matcha or a matcha expert this place is perfect to you!

Once you find it, it's amazing! I got the Cherry Vanilla iced matcha (current special) and it was so yummy. And the service was amazing and so kind. Hoping for immense success for this little place!!

Easily the best Matcha I have had in Austin. I moved to Austin from New York and frequented very high quality matcha cafes such as Kettl. I had not found any matcha remotely similar in Austin until now. If you enjoy matcha in any capacity, this is an absolutely must try.
