Went here during lunch hours during the holiday, and it was pretty dead. I was the only one there. The hostess was very sweet though, and recommended a few things. I got a burger, chips, and some chicken tenders. The burger was ok, nothing to write home about, not much flavor, especially for the price. But I did like how the housemade chips came out warm. The tenders weren't that impressive in flavor, but were hot and juicy. I understand the atmosphere was going for a rustic vibe, but the place seemed dirty. Dirty tables, floors, etc. Which was interesting since there didn't seem to be any rush to keep things clean. The layout of the place was odd, but figured they were mostly drink/bar focused, and not so much food based. They have live music which is nice, maybe they're busier more towards the evening? Overall, it's fine to grab a drink or something, but I wouldn't go back just for the food, and a bit disappointed with the cleanliness.

Google
Love Shack is a very laid back unique restaurant with live music. It's nestled between two building and is half covered and half open. There is no AC but it is shaded. Burgers looked good but we did not order any food, we were there for the music and drinks. It's worth the stop.

Google
We were at the Fort Worth Music Festival, and the Love Shack was one of the participating venues that supported live music...so we decided to try some of their food. Sooo glad we did! Burgers, fries...and cold beer! Loved it! They're located just across the bricks from the rodeo arena! Great location, even better food!

Google
Great burgers and fries!!! The love sauce is sooo yummy!! The burger was really delicious. The fries were fresh cut and perfectly cooked. The buns are thin, which is my favorite. They are set on the grill for a tiny bit and had a little crunch to them.

Leslie Iacono

Google
Walk up bar you can get a drink Togo right on the street. Super friendly and fast service. Came back later for some live music and food. Music was great. Should have skipped the food. It took forever to come out, like an extremely long time. Onion rings were like a ball of grease, burgers were cold. They have a mushroom vegetarian burger option. I think it was a fried mushroom, it was just like flat and greasy.

Google
We thought it would be fun to try a local place while visiting the stockyards. Sadly we should have read the reviews first. The dirty love burger did us dirty. Flavor was okay but it was undercooked which we didn’t realize til we were halfway through. We both got food poisoning and ended up sick for several days. It ruined our vacation having to spend it in the bathroom.

Austin Mostrong

Google
I knew this was a mistake as soon as I tried to order with the girl up front that had an attitude from the very start. Maybe my fault, but I ordered a burger that I thought had mushrooms ON IT, which turned out to be entirely of mushroom with no "burger" about it. Why not have it on a separate vegetarian menu instead of the burger menu?? I got onion rings just to receive tiny strings of clumped up onion slices in batter and in return, again, horribly rude servous to fix the unsatisfactory experience. My husband and I came in here with excitement due to the apparent atmosphere but left disgruntled and searching for a new place for dinner although we paid full price here...save yourself the money and just go somewhere else.

Alyssa

Google
Food was awesome, particularly the onion rings - huge serve and so delicious. Place was awesome to sit at with live music and look out over the street. 4 stars because they said they call your food order over the loud speakers but we never heard anything. Would recommend

Yelp
food was bomb and had a good time listening to music with my fam definitely try the onion rings

Yelp
They have Good inexpensive hamburgers & fries. Cool vibe but can get hot downstairs since there is no breeze that can come through. The female cashier and the other lady were not real friendly people. There was a trash smell in the main down seating area. This overlooks the stockyards sign and the stockyard hotel so nice view upstairs.

Yelp
Yes, we dined at Love Shack. Did I eat? I had beer after leaving the neighboring White Elephant Saloon! Yes, as denoted by my level of intoxication there will be lots of exclamation points! All owned by celebrity chef Tim Love. In my opinion he get most experiences right. Especially in Ft. Worth! My posse ordered food here as opposed to his sister restaurant at the Springhill Suites Atico. ALOT cheaper than the hotel choice. Realistically, the approval rating food wise was mixed. Memories were gained however and one of my best posted slow motion GF and buddy will be forever in the Yelp archive. Apparently, after this adventure a buddy's wife gave me the head pat she was done with alcohol so we could head to our hotel and I tried to pay for a LYFT driver to do donuts around a fountain. Seems IMHO it was worth that sum!

Yelp
Order right at the bar! Get a number on the ticket and grab your food & the sauces you need!! all self service, great location for people watching outside Forth worth. The ONLY location with such a cool patio upstairs outside location. Live band too. Burger was delicious. Taste like a JR sonic burger, however it was a Love Shack Burger!

Yelp
While the food is an average array of Americana fare (#1), I would argue the actual venue itself is anything but average. During the weekday afternoons, Love Shack is a sleepy lunch spot for folks craving the burger + fries life, but at night at on the weekends, it's a place to indulge, drink and gather. All while enjoying the patio life and catching live music. All this in the in the middle of the Fort Worth Stockyards? Oh yes. From the outside it might not look like much, but the place goes deep with the outdoor seating and a pseudo stage / amphitheater. There are numerous views to the stage, including a second floor walkup that's is perfect for groups. I could see this place being fun but I'd have to knock off a star for the shoddy customer service. Being patient and prepared will go a long way. The menu is divided into three main groups of burgers, yard birds (#2), and (hot) dogs. My group and I managed to order a good number of items, which included various burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, and chips. All of it was nice and greasy, but not overly memorable. To maximize the experience, I recommend doubling up the patty for all burgers and go for chips over fries. Throw in a alcoholic beverage and some stellar company, and it may not matter what the live music act is. Don't take the place too seriously and a good time is likely to be had. ____________ (#1) Burgers, hot dogs, fries, and drinks. (#2) i.e. chicken.

Yelp
First time here on the first weekend on 2024! I truly had a good time with friends. Space is good. Love the live performance of Mike Barretto and Sarah. Nice outdoor space, chill vibes. Good service. Food- burger was amazing; onion rings with good breading. Fries- not recommend it at all especially if you like your fries crispy (this is not for you). Overall good spot to hangout especially if weather is good. Would definitely be back.

Yelp
Man, I should have looked at the reviews first. I went here cuz I saw a YouTuber recommended it as a place to go in Fort Worth. Don't bother. I'm sure you can make a better burger at home. It's small for one. A grown man will need a couple of them. The onion rooms were not onion rings. They are soggy rings covered in crumbs. I'm more made that I paid $18 parking just to come eat a mediocre meal.

Yelp
Food awesome! Amazing burgers!! Stopping here. You won't be disappointed. And health and happiness, cheers!

Yelp
We've been in a few times, it's usually very crowded and not a lot of seating but our lady visit we were able to sit close to the stage and interact with the live band which was fun. You can walk up and get drinks, food has to be ordered and takes a long time. Fun time, we will return!

Sierra B.

Yelp
Wanted a quick burger but we didn't even order because the cashier was SO RUDE. We went somewhere else.

Yelp
We were in the stockyards for a movie last night. Didn't expect it to be busy but sure was for 7pm on a Sunday night. A little disappointed that they had run out of all their draft beers. Seemed to be the theme that night. They also didn't have any catsup for the fries. So I ordered the Yard Bird chicken sandwich. It comes with cheese and bacon. My son ordered a cheeseburger and we split an order of fries. The beer was definitely cold. That was a plus. A little surprised that there were only 5 tables sat and still took over 20 minutes for two sandwiches. Even a little more disappointed that when I got the chicken sandwich it wasn't very hot. To a point that the cheese slice never melted either. It was ok but not the great taste I was expecting being a Chef Tim Love owned restaurant. The fries were really good! Overall ok but not what I was expecting.
google avatar

Brianna M.

Yelp
the cashier was super nice even though she was busy, but the food was awful. our food took almost an hour even though tickets after us got served and when we asked, the cooks just handed our food that they had discarded to the side. no numbers were called. the nachos were soggy and cold and were made wrong. the cheese was literally water. I'm disappointed because it's a nice environment but the food was so bad!

Yelp
For me, enjoying the Love Shack experience is only possible when the weather is enjoyable since the entire space is outdoors. I'm admittedly very negative about our lousy Texas weather the majority of the time since I don't handle humid heat well at all (why do I live here), but when we DO have decent weather, I think the Love Shack is a really fun Stockyards spot to hang out. Next door to the iconic White Elephant Saloon, The Love Shack greets you with a small outdoor counter and menu: burgers, hot dogs, fries, and beer. This is a Chef Tim Love creation so you can expect the food to be a little more interesting than usual; burgers with a fried quail egg and signature "love" sauce, hot dogs topped in Chef Love's Lonesome Dove pork green chili, house made potato chips with chili seasoning and parmesan cheese... Yum. You order and pay upfront and then pick up your food from the counter when they call your name over the loudspeaker. The restaurant space has multiple levels, all outdoor, and all spaces are covered. Plenty of shade. Downstairs there are fans, misters, and a stage where there's often live music. I sat upstairs overlooking Exchange Avenue, sharing my burger with the sweetest tuxedo cat who lives nearby.
google avatar

Petra N.

Yelp
3stars definitely goes for ambiance and live music playing here on weekends. The place itself is really groovy and cool and definitely a nice spot to hang out! You can look out to stockyards and it's outdoor, in a nice weather definitely the it! But... service is awful here! Everytime I ordered something they always seems like they are in a hurry to get your order and that's it! They don't want to deal w you anymore! They have this "go away" attitude. Food is also just ok in my opinion. I can definitely make better burger at home! 100% I keep coming back here for the live music but tend to just drink some beers and just hang around.

Yelp
They are very knowledgeable and know how to treat their customers as if there the only ones there lots of one on one and they will explain anything they sell if you need a how does this work or ??

Yelp
I loved this causal, outdoor burger bar while on a break during training session. My coworkers and I were in sessions all day at the nearby Stockyards Hotel when we decided to get lunch here. It was a perfect sunny day, so we were thankful to sit on the upstairs deck. Even though there were 10 of us, our orders came out quickly and were perfectly prepared. My cheeseburger was perfect, and the onion rings and french fries were delicious. I think the only thing I would do differently is make sure the menu is very clear about what comes on each burger. My colleague is gluten free due to a severe case of celiac disease. She ordered the burger that had the portobello mushroom, not realizing it was breaded and fried, and wasn't able to eat it. She didn't make a big deal out of it, but I think a bit more description on the menu might be warranted.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
It was a little difficult on the stomach to watch the cattle drive and then come straight here for burgers for lunch (eek). However, our party of 12 enjoyed having this low-key atmosphere to ourselves right in the middle of the Stockyards. It was a fast option for lunch and we all placed our orders for burgers and other things. Grilled chicken sandwich for myself with a side of parmesan chips. While all the sides looked scrumptious (the chips themselves were so good) wish they had something with veggies to make this meal slightly healthier. Those on my team who went w/ the vegetarian option (portabella mushroom sandwich) were a bit disappointed to learn that it was fried...and left hungry. My grilled chicken was good, although I think if I were back in the area I'd try to eat somewhere with more healthier options.

Yelp
At the stock yards... great music horrible food. Absolutely nothing good to say. Rude counter, rude cooks / food pickup. Soggy burger, bbq sauce which is charged for is watery. Do not go here
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Popped in here on a random night whilst exploring The Stockyards and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and funny and the food was solid!  My buddy ordered the chicken sandwich and onion rings and the girls ordered fries and nachos with a burger.  The batter and slaw on the chicken sandwich was so good! The onion rings were probably some of the best onion rings I've had in a while. The batter was crunchy, and the onion was thin enough to where it didn't make the batter soggy but still maintained that onion flavor...and the ranch they gave us. SHiiiiet. I don't usually like ranch, but ya boy was dunkin like Vince Carter over Frederic Weis! If you don't get the reference...you're too young...and someone should check your ID at the door.  Fries were ok, nachos are mid...you can skip those. I definitely did not expect much, but left happy and full of good beer and good food!

Julie I.

Yelp
Open air venue with very loud music. Food was average. Thank goodness for cold beer because it was very hot and only one fan was working. My husband found plastic in his burger but we got a full refund. So service was very fair.

Rey S.

Yelp
Food was bland and patties were tiny, worst of all was the bad service. I will say the environment was nice, live music while you eat and/or have a cold drink. Definitely won't be going back

Yelp
I've wanted to try one of Chef loves restaurants ever since seeing him as a guest judge on Top Chef. I was overly excited about going to the Love Shack, however, I'm not sure if I picked the wrong day or what but I was not impressed. The menu is on a board outside of the restaurant/open air bar, it's also on the bar top when you walk up to place your order. The young woman that took our order must have been having an off day or something, she was not very friendly, helpful (for 1st time patrons), or seemed happy to be working in a place that was not air conditioned in 90 degree weather in TX. Hmmm! Anyway, I ordered the burger that came on a tortilla instead of the bun thinking it would have less carbs, not sure about that. My boyfriend tried to order the burger w/quail egg & bacon but they were out of quail egg?? So he settled for the boom-boom w/meat. We all shared fries. Like I said it's an open air dining I don't know how anyone can eat a got burger when it's any hotter than this? They have umbrellas & a net over the top but it doesn't stop the TX heat. There are 3 levels you can sit on. The bottom level has fans w/sprayers. (Must've been nice) we sat on the 2nd level.‍ I really love the atmosphere & the concept they are going for, but damn it's hot! Just know that! They had over flowing trash cans on the 1st floor w/flys that's why I didn't sit down there. Also we had to clean our own table, the table was sticky & dirty & I had to get a wet paper towel & wipe it down. When they called our # we picked up our food, it was in a paper back went to sit down. The fries were piping hot. The ranch (we requested) was delicious. Javier dug into his burger. I had to go get napkins before I could eat... LOL upon return he was 1/2 done. He said it was good. I bit into my quesadilla type burger & it was good, but not grand. Nothing worth getting boob sweat for that's for sure. I tasted his burger too just to be sure. Still not worth the sweat. Overall I guess it was a mix between a patio bar & a Burger King . I wish I could say better. Hey they sale beer! Cheers!

Will H.

Yelp
What a cool place to stop by for a cold beer on one of Fort Worth's hot summer days. It's an open air bar with live music. You can even leave the bar with an open beer in your hand. Down side is they just raised the price to $6.25 for a 16oz beer.

Yelp
If you're looking for an excellent, juicy burger in the Stockyards, this is a great choice. I had the Boom Boom Burger and it was really really good. Piled with toppings, my favorite of which was the deep fried and battered portobello mushroom and the Love sauce (kinda like Canes sauce) Great flavor. Served hot. Not bad for a fancy $9 burger. I'll go back and try another option.

Yelp
Such a cute, casual, outdoor spot to grab a bite while you're exploring the Stockyards. Their menu creations are really fun; I especially enjoyed that they have a creation of the month which tends to be a little more out of the box. Even cooler that they allow customers to submit suggestions on what the next month's creation should be. In addition to burgers, they also have chicken sandwiches, which is perfect if you want to keep it a little lighter or just prefer a non red meat option, and hot dogs, too. I was here for a work conference so I opted for the classic chicken sandwich so I wouldn't fall asleep during session from the itis. However, I definitely had my eye on some more hearty options like the crispy chicken sandwich or the love in the boom boom burger (the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich was also whispering my name ever so gently, but I refrained. Next time, sweet treat, next time.) Instead of fries, I went with the chile parmesan chips which were quite tasty and a great pairing for my sandwich. Don't worry too much about eating outside in the Texas heat, the covered deck upstairs is the perfect respite from the sun and it allows you a great view of all the action on the main street and in the courtyard depending on your preference.

Yelp
$2.50 for a cup of Arnold Palmer with one free refill. Cheap food and convenient. My bf and I came to this area wanting to see the herding of bulls through the streets - a real Texas experience. I definitely enjoyed the experience however it was quite hot that he wanted something to drink. Finding a place nearby - we found this place which was super casual and easy. They offered a wide range of food and drinks and definitely not at a tourist price! They have nice patio seating and 2 floors where you can see the famous street. If you're in the area and hungry or thirsty - I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Closer to a 3.5 but between a 3 and a 4 star review I leant more towards a 3. First, the service was spectacular. The woman up front was very helpful and patient when it came to us ordering. We are visiting from out of town, so this was our first time, and we took a while. The staff in the kitchen was also very friendly and accommodating. Most of us liked their onion rings more than their fries. Personally I thought the fries needed to have more potato but more importantly more salt or a seasoning. However, a friend said he preferred the fries over the onion rings. We really enjoyed their chicken sandwich. The quail egg was a good touch and the chicken was really juicy and tasty. My main complaint (which goes for the burger as well) is that I couldn't taste the love sauce they add. I'd definitely recommend getting a side of it if you actually want the flavor. I think it will go good as a dipping for sides as well. The burgers were good but a little thin for my liking which made it a tad dry. A friend got the double cheese burger and it looked like it was cooked better and he really enjoyed it. Lastly, I did wish they had more beers on draft.

David B.

Yelp
if I could give a 0 I would. Tim Love should be embarrassed to have his name on this place. The wait for our food was 1hr and 15 minutes. when we got it the burgers were charcoaled hockey pucks and what was there was hidden by the bun. Absolutely the worst excuse I have ever seen for a burger. You had to actually look for the patty. They use either an 8/1 or 10/1 patty which means the patty is about 2oz before cooking. This is a total tourist trap and needs to be avoided. The wait is not worth the money. I would suggest going down the stree to the Shake Shack for a burger. Tim Love you need to go in and see what your name is promoting. Tourist trap buyer beware.

Yelp
I live in Dallas and when I find myself in Fort Worth I choose my meals carefully. I went to Love Shack based on the good memories I have of this place. I don't believe I will ever be going back. The burger was very small and average and that is as generous as I can be. My burger, fries and water came out to a little under $17 as all they have in terms of water is a $4 mini bottle of water. Based on my credit card statement the cashier helped herself to a $5 tip. All in all I was very let down. As I left I passed a shake shack and wished I had ended up there. At one time Tim Love was a respected chef but he clearly is letting this concept run itself.

Yelp
Love Shack (LS) Redux I'm passing through Cowtown for the wrestling Olympic Trials (where the world-class tough guys are today), and I stopped by LS for some live music and a brew tonight. Listening to Johnny Cash songs hell yeah with a diverse, eclectic crowd and a mangy dog. God's Gonna Cut You Down By Johnny Cash You can run on for a long time Run on for a long time Run on for a long time Sooner or later God'll cut you down Sooner or later God'll cut you down Go tell that long tongue liar Go and tell that midnight rider Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down Well my goodness gracious let me tell you the news My head's been wet with the midnight dew I've been down on bended knee Talkin' to the man from Galilee He spoke to me in the voice so sweet I thought I heard the shuffle of the angel's feet He called my name and my heart stood still When he said, "John, go do my will!" Go tell that long tongue liar Go and tell that midnight rider Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down Hygienically it's a grungy dive, but real people need a dive every now and then, I guess. So if you are self-absorbed and haughty, pass LS and go to Lonesome Dove a couple blocks away.- if you can afford it. - Redux - brought back or bringing back In Latin, redux (from the verb reducere, meaning "to lead back") can mean "brought back" or "bringing back." The Romans used redux as an epithet for the Goddess Fortuna with its "bringing back" meaning; Fortuna Redux was "one who brings another safely home."

Yelp
Family day at the stockyards and I always wanted to try this place out. This is just outside over looking the street front so beware no indoor seating it was extreme Texas heat!! Got some chicken nachos and they were actually super tasty, there loveshack burger was really tasty as well. I forgot the name but we did try a hot dog with red chili and cheese and it was super messy but tasted amazin! Now I will say fries lacked seasoning or salt they were pretty bland but other than that check this place out if u like chilling outside

Yelp
GET. THE. ONION. RINGS. YALL. big Tony at white elephant recommended my husband and I get them with our burger orders and woah, best I've ever had!! Seriously! But of course, the cheeseburger with love sauce is amazing too, the service is so fast, and the establishment itself is so fun and lively!!

Tim M.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try the food at the Love Shack, the last week of December, while seated in the White Elephant Saloon next door. We both ordered a burger and and order of onion rings. The burgers are great but OMG, the so called onion "Rings" were more like onion garbage, they were soggy, little to no breading, not a single one of them was actually a ring. For a restaurant connected to the famous chef Tim Love, we sure expected much higher quality food. The service was good.

Yelp
Excellent Burger. It's amazing how they operate and produce these excellent burgers from a tiny kitchen. You will be sitting outside.

Yelp
Didn't try any food. But for the drinks and atmosphere - definitely a 5 star place. Perfect spot to grab a drink and watch the stock yards streets. Ranch water- best seltzer for sure ! Beats white claws hands down

Yelp
Worst. Nachos. Ever. Cheese wasn't melted. Beans runny. So much iceberg lettuce. Horrible. Can't speak to the other food.

Kenny A.

Yelp
The food was very good for the price! The service was really friendly, and the ambiance was 6/5 stars! Great views!

Brianna C.

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The staff was rude, the food wasn't good, and the live band was making racist jokes. First and last time I'll be here.

Yelp
Don't let the delicious grill smell and hole in the wall vibe fool you. We actually walked down to another cafe and turned around to come back here because it smelled phenomenal. We were in search of a good, greasy burger, and were sure this place was it. We ended up waiting over 45 minutes (they were not busy) for what ended up being cold and dry and worse than old fast food. We requested medium, and our burgers were well done and dry. The HORRIBLE customer service from the beginning should have been a red flag. They charge your card an extra 25 percent for tips, just in case. A bit presumptuous? They also charged us for two waters at $6.46 because they were out of small sized waters. How about letting the customer know this before charging extra? We WILL NOT be back. The only great thing about this place was the live music. He was outstanding! A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT OTHERWISE.
google avatar

James D.

Yelp
This might be my favorite burger joint in Fort Worth. There's many good ones, but this one is certainly at or near the top. I always get the dirty love burger. The only question is whether I get two patties or one. On my last visit I went with one. You really get a unique taste with this burger between the quail egg and the love sauce. They both add some phenomenal flavor. The burger comes cooked medium with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. The bun is a perfect consistency for this type of burger, truly outstanding. I also ordered a side of onion rings. I don't know what they batter them in, but they're mighty tasty. Last, but not least, the cover band last night was also pretty good with quite the repertoire of songs.

Reviewer B.

Yelp
The burgers are so out of this world disgusting. Glad they were kinda cheap. Didn't feel like I took that big of an L?! The music was so loud. Imma give two stars because it's smells good and the onion rings was good.

Jan P.

Yelp
We came here with friends from out of town. We decided to try this place because it had had chef Tim Loves name attached to it. We placed our order and sat down to wait. We ordered first and waited while everyone around us that had ordered after us got their meal. Our meal finally arrived and it was wrong. My husbands burger was correct but mine was not, I was supposed to have boom on mine & it was missing. Then, we had ordered 1 of the onion rings and 1 of the chili Parmesan chips. We got 2 of the chips & no onion rings. Went to have it corrected & they did get my boom on my burger but the onion rings they gave us were devoid of most crust, just slimy sliced onions in grease. Plus don't go if want to have conversation because the band was way too loud & not good. Probably ok place to get a burger when you come out of the bars and you're drunk. Drunk food. Won't be back. Can't believe Chef Tim Love would attach his name to this.

Yelp
YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 59/100 CASH ONLY! Plenty of time to kill before meeting up with a buncha people for dinner across the street. Big bro and parental units thought it a good idea to have a brew on this nice, hot and humid day while we wait. Its looks are very deceiving from the outside. Initially, I thought it's just some corner bar where one can buy beer to chug during a walk around through the Stockyards. And then a whole open hangout area upstairs AND downstairs, what?!? It was a weekday stop, so it was reasonably calm and empty. But I can imagine how bangin' this place must be during summer or any holiday seasons! If we didn't have dinner plans, we might have hungout here much longer. TIP: There is an ATM right behind the bar if you don't have cash on hand. Would love to someday spend happy hour here! Someday....

Yelp
Saturday night before the Blue October concert. Business was nearly nonexistent. We had 5 orders before us yet Service was slow and took nearly 25 mins to get our two burgers and onion rings. Amore Caliente was a cut in half burger carelessly tossed in a cold tortilla, the green chili was bland with no heat. Onion rings were soggy with grease. It was cold and Patio heaters a weren't working. Wife said her portabella burger was "just okay." Won't be going back.

Yelp
Cute little spot we found while wandering away from the Fort Worth stockyards was the Love Shack--an adorable, secluded outdoors bar with a limited section of alcohol. We went for a light beer and sat down upstairs and listened to some live music, and simply relaxed after a full day of walking. ANGRY ORCHARD BLOOD AND HONEY We went with these beers and we liked them based on our preference. The Angry Orchard was light and sweet and the Blood and Honey was a bit heavier for a hot day. This place is cash only. Service was great!

Yelp
F O O D The burger was okay. The flavor was really good, but it was very greasy. The fries were also really good. A M B I E N C E This is a very cool place to go to, it is an open air place. So beware there is no inside AC. There is a stage in the center, which makes this a place you can come and take a date and listen to live music. But remember there is no AC which means it can get pretty hot in the summer. When you get here, you order at the front and then you can pick where to sit. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH. There are some tables upstairs that overlook the main street of the Stockyards, and you can get a nice breeze. They will call your order when ready, and you have to go pick up your order from the front. Overall very chill place to sit, listen to music, enjoy breeze (if there is one) and eat some greasy burgers + fries. P A R K I N G WARNING. The parking here in the Stockyards used to be free. I would come here often, and I loved that it was free. I could come down, park, walk around, grab a bite to eat. But now you *MUST* PAY FOR PARKING. There is no more free parking here in the Stockyards, not even on the weekends. O V E R A L L I wouldn't mind coming back here and checking it out if I happened to be in the area and they had a band playing.

Yelp
Burgers were completely over cooked, Highly overpriced, my little brother's hot dog was sadder than his face when he saw it. Buns were stale, it took forever to come out and they didn't even have the hot dog. The one redeeming quality was the atmosphere but that wasn't enough. There were flies everywhere, how would they pass a health inspection. Thankfully we got our money back. Do not eat here ever!

Yelp
Let's be real: This place is overrated, and people go here for the atmosphere and live music but not for the food. The burgers taste good, but there isn't anything exceptional about them. It's like eating a Sonic or Whataburger burger. I ordered the Cheeseburger, and we got Fresh Cut Fries and the "Crazy Good Onion Rings" to share. The fries were good, but I was not a fan of the onion rings. There weren't your traditional ring shaped onion rings. It was just thinly cut up onions thrown into some kind of sweet batter/oil and then served in a jumbled mess. Not great from a flavor or texture perspective. We were lucky to get there before the lunch rush, but it still took forever to get our food. There's no clear line. They want you to line up on the sidewalk, but you can't tell if people on the sidewalk are in line or are just standing in the sidewalk. They have 2 people cooking at once, but it takes a really long time. You couldn't hear when your order number was called because the live music was too loud. Then you had to go up and touch someone's bag of food to see if it was your number, and that felt really weird with COVID. A Shake Shack recently opened up a couple doors down, and this place is in a lot of trouble if they don't stop up their menu and service.

Yelp
I ignored the 3 stars and decided they must be wrong considering it's a Tim Love restaurant. Burger was just Ok. Tables were filthy. Food took a long time. Was disappointed.
