I came across this café about 15 minutes from the Vatican and it turned out to be one of the nicest stops of my trip. I tried the croissant with cream and it was outstanding fresh, soft, and full of flavour, probably one of the best pastries I’ve had in Rome. I also had two coffees, an Americano and a flat white, and both were excellent. The Americano was smooth and rich without being bitter, while the flat white had a creamy texture with a perfect balance of milk and coffee. You can tell they put care into every detail.
The café itself is bright and modern, with big windows that bring in natural light and create a relaxed atmosphere. It feels like the kind of place where you can take a break from sightseeing or sit down to work for a while. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
Even though I only tried one pastry this time, the quality left a strong impression and makes me want to come back and explore more of the menu. This is definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for excellent coffee and pastries near the Vatican, away from the usual tourist places.
