My fiancé and I had our engagement party at Lovejoys and we had an absolutely wonderful experience with the team from beginning to end. We found this space online when we were initially seeking venues and went to scope it out in person. Miranda was there and gave us a discount so we could try multiple cocktails, all of which were delicious. We could hardly decide which to feature on our special menu! Then Aida was amazing with handling all things communication. She made sure we had everything we needed and more, offerings extras like blackout curtains and frames for our signage. On the day of, Miranda and Lily were there making sure everything was in place and helping when small things popped up like labeling the catering and a special spotlight for our performers for a short show we planned during the party. All of the bartenders that night were also great, being super friendly and hospitable. Most importantly, our guests had a lovely time. Overall, the team went above and beyond to make sure we had a special night. I’m an event planner myself so I’m very detail oriented and I found the team matched my energy the entire way and never made me feel like a burden. 10/10, would love to host an event here again! Thank you, Lovejoys! You made our engagement party a night to remember. 💞

This place is amazing! Having our book club meeting here and the vibes are so perfect. Definitely feeling the fantasy vibes which went well with our book of the month. So beautifully decorated and spacious. The couches are comfortable and the drinks are amazing especially the passion fruit margarita

I recently visited a new bar that’s fully embracing the Christmas spirit right now and it was such a magical experience! The festive decor created a cozy and cheerful atmosphere, with twinkling lights, holiday-themed decorations, and a warm, inviting vibe. The cocktail menu was fantastic, featuring creative, seasonal drinks that perfectly captured the holiday mood. Each cocktail was thoughtfully crafted, delicious, and beautifully presented. Just had my wedding reception here and so glad we chose a venue that so perfectly matched the aesthetic and vibe we desired. The staff were all very helpful and moved fast with bar service, answering questions and filling in the gaps with our guests. Our only con was the DJ/emcee (volume, song selections and program announcements) failed to meet our expectations unfortunately. Do inquire if that is important to you. Otherwise, I highly recommend Lovejoys for ambience, atmosphere and delicious drinks!

I highly recommend Lovejoy's for hosting an event or private party! I recently organized my friend's bridal shower here and all my guests kept telling me what a fantastic time they had! As someone who can be quite particular when it comes to planning, I found Aida & Miranda on the Lovejoy's team to be amazing to work with. They were extremely communicative and accommodating to all my requests and budget. Their flexibility allowed me to bring my own catering, flowers/decorations, and my own playlist, and I was able to customize the event to what I had envisioned. They went above and beyond to make the event special and offered a cocktail menu with customized drink names, which the bride-to- be loved. Also, they were so helpful and set up tables and tablecloths upon request for me, which made my life so much easier! In terms of the space itself, the décor is tasteful, fun, and so aesthetic - from the chandeliers, to the hanging plants, arched mirrors and bespoke wallpaper. We were given the balcony/dancefloor space in the back, and there was enough room for my party to play games, mingle, and set up a DIY photo booth. Not to mention they have a cute outdoor space with a garden wall for people to hang out. Finally, the cocktails are delicious and beautiful, and you can tell they only use high quality ingredients in their drinks. The Stardust is my personal favorite, which is made with hibiscus gin and has gold flecks in it! Overall this place is just such a gem and made an amazing venue for an event!

Yet another cocktail bar that I was pleased to cross off my Want to Try list! Lovejoys is a spacious bar serving up a tiny but mighty menu of craft drinks. I stopped by while waiting for a later reservation at The Monkey King nearby and ended up ordering the Zephyr- a whiskey forward drink with passion fruit, yuzu, and lime. Delicious! Zephyr is a stray from what I would usually order but I was itching to try something new and this one definitely stuck out to me. I was honestly pleasantly surprised with it and would give it about an 8/10 in terms of taste and balance. I'm excited to give the rest of the menu a try soon! The only downside of this bar was the service sadly :( I was barely greeted upon entering and the bartender on site looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but working. Hoping that was just an off moment though!

Great ambiance, good service, good drinks and aesthetically pleasing. Came here for the first time on Sunday July 22nd and will definitely be back. The music wasn’t overpowering, so I was able to hear myself speak :) Perfect ending to my Sunday evening.10/10 would recommend. Oh and Shashi is an amazing bartender, she made us feel welcomed and drinks were delish! Will be back with friends!

My favorite Bushwick cocktail bar! Such a photogenic location and it’s definitely an elevated and polished place to look cute, have drinks, and enjoy. The staff are super friendly. You’ll always catch a cute photo. An impressive place to throw an event. I can go on and on, definitely check out this spot if you’re in Bushwick and don’t want a grubby location to hang out.

I love Lovejoys!!!! Get it? No seriously, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! How can you not?! The staff are sooo incredibly welcoming. I recently attended an open mic here this past weekend and was blown away by the space. Their music was fun, the decor was beautiful and the ambiance... well, it was off the charts. It looks like they've been open since 2022, which is surprising as they've already amassed quite the brand name recognition across Bushwick. I see that a fellow Elite recommended you come during the day to further notice and appreciate all the detailed decorations.. noted! I'll certainly be returning during my next Saturday afternoon visit to Brooklyn!

One of my go to spots for a night cap. Always a vibe. Drinks are amazing. No cover charge, most nights.

Expensive drinks for no reason, paid 40 bucks for two piece of garbage drinks that the awkward bartender girl with a rude attitude made with two ingredients. We're in bushwick, get over yourself. Also the people there couldn't dance to save their lives, saltless establishment and gentrified hot mess. Don't go here.

There's something about those gold arched frames and purple backlighting against the navy blue walls that feels so soothing at Lovejoys. The elevated dance floor and disco ball in the back totally nail the intentional retro aesthetic they're going for, and I'm here for it. I'm tickled by the fact they call their drinks "libations" on the menu and even have a zero proof section. As I get older, I've been enjoying my low-abv and sometimes no-abv drinks. They even have a solid happy hour with $14 house cocktails and $10 glasses of wine. Of course, I did want to try something boozy on this date though. The Tiger's Eye impressed me with the mezcal base and a list of ingredients I could barely name. Said ingredient list included genepy le chamois, cynar, banane du bresil. I don't know what any of that is but if it was in the drink, it tasted great. The Zephyr cocktail with whiskey, passionfruit, yuzu, and something called "fee foam" was also easy to drink. I was too deep in conversation with my date to really pay attention to what fee foam is, but the cocktails were pretty good. Great spot with pretty aesthetics for a casual date.

Great and sound bar overall, pretty good selection. I visited once before for an event and the space is gorgeously decorated. It looks different at night but I highly recommend coming during the day to see the huge mirror and small details everywhere. The service is always fast and pleasant; during my recent visit I ordered one cocktail and got the "LoveJoys" cocktail. It had Tequila, blackberry-basil shrub, ghost chiles crushed onto the rim (not insanely spicy-just right), lime, and ginger beer. It was well made, boozy and super tasty. Would love to come back and try their other options. The vibe js always right when I come here; music and people are all great during my visits here. Such a good time and great cocktails

Stopped by to celebrate a friends birthday. It was so cute how they printed her name on the menus at the tables. A decent sized, beautifully decorated bar. I had the stardust cocktail and also had a French 75. Both were good! Good drinks, good service, good music and clean bathrooms!

Okay.. I like it here alot. I came on a Friday night around 1am and there was a nice size crowd. The decor is pretty and its dimly lit. There are tables/couches where you can order drinks if you're with a group and as you head to the back of the spot theres a dance floor. The music was good and I loved the vibe here. Plus theres a little outdoor patio(not that big). I didn't try any of their drinks but I definitely would on a return visit. Definitely recommend stopping in here on a night out.

I'm such a sucker for decor ..VIBES ...I'm in love with the decor ..it's so sexy ..really really sexy . I came here as a "pre game " , I was not disappointed ..the menu was for drinks(no food) and the prices were reasonable ..I told the bartender who was very pleasant to make me the most popular drink..in which she kindly did ..It was the "lovejoy" the space is spacious enough to where I saw DJ equipment and was told , the weekend was where it was happening ..this is definitely a date night; definitely an all "girls night" definitely a solo and I need a cocktail with my "mini dress" and Chanel mirror night ..I even came back that evening to have a nightcap...the drink wasn't as strong as I would have liked it ..(but Uhmm that could be just me)

-This cocktail bar is absolutely beautiful! I would give it 5 stars if I could but something was off about my cocktails and they don't even serve light bites. -I got the "Taboo". Its with vodka but something about the rosemary didn't do it for me. Not as pretty as their other cocktails either. Next time i'd try the Stardust! -It's a straight up cocktail bar, no food so great place to meet up for a drink before or after a meal elsewhere. Hopefully they get some food soon since its still fairly new. -Love the decor, the pink/purple uplights, the music and the overall vibe was just so on point. Super aesthetic. Kind of a different look for this area but cool nonetheless. Return? Yea I'd love to try another cocktail and just vibe out Recommend? Yes

This bar is super cute. There's are booths you can sit in, there are seats at the bar and is also a dance floor. The drinks were good. And there was a good selection including a couple of mocktails. Came on a Saturday night and there was a DJ playing. The music was all over the place but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. I would revisit.

Lovejoy's is a great escape from the grungy Bushwick streets offering quality cocktails in a beautifully dimly lit setting. The space doesn't look like it even belongs on Troutman Ave, with it's standout centerpiece bar and plush couches. I've been here on various types of occasions: casual drinks, birthday celebrations, dancing - and all have been so fun! Would love if they eventually served small appetizers, I think that will elevate the experience here.

Beautiful lounge with comfy chairs, lighting, and sexy vibe. Won't say the bar tenders are welcoming, but maybe it's because we arrived around 11pm (who knows?). On my first visit I ordered the Tiger's Eye from a male bartender who had a blonde pony tail and I absolutely enjoyed it. My second visit the following week I requested the same cocktail but was disappointed. The bartender was a younger gentlemen who seemed preoccupied with chatting with his friends and female colleagues rather than making a proper cocktail. His service was unimpressive and unwelcoming at best. A place that beautiful should be complimented with better service! I'm giving Lovejoy 3 stars overall because the second experience was worse than the first. I'd return for the ambiance and decor, but I might just order something from the bottle or can next time

Wow! What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! I've enjoyed socializing in the neighborhood before so I had a pretty good idea of the establishments there - but I did a search just to see what I'd find - and I'm so glad I found Lovejoys. The pics themselves showed the unique beauty, ambiance and character that can't be found anywhere else in the area and I felt compelled to go. I wanted that experience. Well, Lovejoys lived up to what they advertise and more. It's a beautiful, classy, sexy place to be with its warm color, perfect lighting and great layout. They even have an outdoor area in the back. Who wouldn't enjoy being there? So, while I was enjoying all the exciting trappings of this great establishment, what topped it was the customer care given. We were greeted, attended to and our engaging conversation made us feel welcomed and special. This was exactly what I wanted as an option compared to all the other options. Lovejoys, Thank you for your style and customer service.

When it's 7 pm on a Saturday you're wandering around Bushwick looking for a nice cocktail, Lovejoys is a great option! There was no one else in at that time so we sat at the bar and made ourselves at home as the bartenders were still setting up for the evening. The interior of this spot is, as my friend says, "swanky." Lots of jewel tones and plush seating with gold accents. They have a dance floor for later in the evening as well as a cozy backyard/patio area. I opted for a glass of wine, and they pour samples before you commit to a glass which is always appreciated. I sampled the orange which wasn't as full-bodied as I liked so ended up going with the rose. I'm really not a rose person in the slightest so was pleasantly surprised. I tasted the glass slipper which my friend got and it was a beautiful cocktail with full-on glitter in it. I was also able to try the all nighter, which is their take on a espresso martini and it was very good. If I come back, that would definitely be my cocktail of choice.

This is for the grown and sexy. The bar, plush and leather seating, the decor, the chandeliers, and the drinks were simply beautiful. The DJ, energy, and overall vibe were great. There is no room for killjoys only LOVE.

We came to Lovejoys to celebrate the birthday of a relative. We arrived early enough to get a good seat before the craze of the party crowd. It appears there were sever birthday parties in the same night. The place had a nice ambiance and the drinks were pretty good. I personally did not enjoy the first DJ that played music but I believe she was for one of the parties. The DJ changed throughout the night and I enjoyed that second DJ much better. THe night was going really well. The hubs was getting the majority of the drinks and had an open tab. At one point in the night, I went to order the drinks. I ordered several rounds. While ordering one of the rounds of drinks, after ordering 2 other people came up and sked me to order for them. While trying to place the order, the bartender, Julian, told me he's not making them because I am ordering too many drinks. I have NEVER EVER been to a bar and was told I've ordered too many drinks. I was not drunk or rude and was in complete shock. I was able to speak to the manager at the time, Aida, who was extremely helpful. I advised her of the situation and she was apologetic and seemed as surprised as I was. After speaking to my husband, he advised that he was ordering from one of the female bartenders and not the rude male. Leo was working on clearing tables but was also super friendly and helpful. I would return but would definitely not order from Julian.

I must say that I have experienced a lot of parties in my life and I have personally organized quite a few, but what I experienced yesterday was beyond of a limit everything I saw so far and unfortunately it was on my bday. I was at the beginning of the opening LoveJoys and I was big fan of this project in Bushwick. Beautifully designed lounge with great selection of cocktails. That's why it was one of my picks for potential place for my bday party. I met owner, introduced her my friend who is also DJ and we made deal for my birthday celebration. My friend put together great line Up od Djs for all night and we were all so excited! Everything went well until another bday group came and things became nasty Management couldn't handle situation at all! If we wouldn't leave, police department would join our party probably soon because some of us were physically attacked by other group and still, no one have balls to deal with it ! Such a disappointment. I left my birthday in tears and very upset.

LOVEJOYS! such a fun place that plays such good music. the vibes and the ambiance are super welcoming and everyone is a VIBE. the place itself is super decorative and the service is great! great place for a night out and they even have a cute backyard which is perfect for those summer nights!

This past weekend I hosted a private event(my babyshower) at Lovejoys. From the very beginning Aida and Emmy have been very accommodating and informative. I chose Lovejoys because of the ambience and décor, which meant I didn't have to do much decorating myself! Everyone at my shower was asking where I found this spot and LOVED everything about it. The staff on site were amazing and attributed to the best vibes I could have ever imagined. The cocktails are beautiful and delicious! I am still receiving compliments about the event and this was all because of Lovejoys' help. Thank you Lovejoys for making our day all the more memorable!

Disaster place. The level of disrespect we faced at this establishment was insane. Absolute disappointment with border line physical assault. My girlfriend was celebrating her birthday at Lovejoys two days ago. She bought balloons and decorated the place. We made a flyer, put an official DJ lineup together and invited dozens of people. The owner approved everything. However the whole night went down alarmingly wrong: All of the sudden these men came to the DJ booth and wanted to play. The owner was asking if we could let them dj for a bit. I said of course. There was another party being celebrated in that place so I wanted to be nice and friendly and sharing. First they were missing a cable to connect their computer (asking me if I had it). Then they found it somewhere 30 minutes later. I said they could play after me. They wanted to set up the cables and while doing that, they unplugged the dj equipment and stopped the music. We had to fix it and fight with them and kick them out of the dj booth. The owner was on their side. Instead of backing us up as official djs for the night she just repeated she was sorry. Owner overbooked the venue, the second birthday was larger group (more of our people were still on their way) and she thought she will get more money from them if she lets them play their music. My girlfriend who's birthday it was bought all the decorations and now the other group started to take her balloons to use them for their party. They tried to take the balloons directly from my friends hand and were extremely rude. The poor birthday girl had to get into a physical conflict with them. It was an absolute mayhem. And if we didn't leave we would have to call 911. They were very hostile and owner absolutely useless and unprofessional. Never again. I cannot express how outraged we were from this experience not even mentioning the bday girl ending up in tears on her big day. Yelp deleted my other friend's review, attached in screenshot. Shame!

Stopped in on a Sunday after brunch with a friend. Let me start by saying this bar is beautiful!!! If you're looking for some place cute, chic and classy, definitely go here. They even have the cutest outdoor space. Initially it was just my friend and I there all we had the entire place to ourselves. The two bartenders were welcoming and sweet. They did mention that they will be getting small bites soon but as of now, their menu is just drinks so eat before you go, or after, whichever floats your boat! Both the drinks I had was delicious and refreshing. I've been in my well made cocktail phase and these didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back!

10/10 experience! Hosted my 31st birthday happy hour here and Aida and Emmy were phenomenal with helping bring my vision to life. My favorite part was the handwritten speciality menus! Highly recommend for any private celebration.

So far so good. The drinks are valid. You can bring food inside, that is a plus. The service is great. Great ambiance. It looks good in here. I like it.

Night club vibe. The ambiance was nice, the music and service was good and the drinks were on point. It's a nice place to dance or just drink and chat with friends. Plus they allow you to bring in food from outside til 10pm which is great because the area is flooded with all types of cuisine.

This is a new addition to the neighborhood! It's massive, making it a great place to meet a big group of friends. The bar has dim lighting and feels ~intimate~. When I went, there were a lot of first dates - so probably a good date night spot! The servers were kind and communicative. This bar has a lot on the menu in terms of cocktails, beer, and wine. The drinks were pretty standard but kinda pricey. With tax and tip, each cocktail averaged about $20! There's so many places in the neighborhood where you can get a drink just as good (if not better) for way cheaper. I had a pretty pleasant experience, I just would rather get more for my money!

When you're looking for a great place to celebrate your bday and don't want any stress or hassle, This is the place you need to host. Management is super accommodating and their creative ideas will have you confident in your party style and energy. Make sure you solidify your DJ and time slot because folks who didn't solidify, will try and ruin your party. I'd completely have another party here! Aida is a boss and manages very well! I was seriously taken care of from coat check, to music selection, to water hydration and care for you through out the night.

Lovejoys is this sexy little spot located just around the corner from the L train and across the street from LOT45. Its quite large and spacious so its actually not a little spot lol. You can easily fit 150 in there. They've got a great cocktail menu and friendly staff. Seemed very LGBTQ friendly but it was a pretty mixed crowd. They played a lot of house music the night i was there. I just stopped in to pregame so I was only around for an hour or so.

Absolute gem of a place with wonderful and attentive staff. Cocktails at the forefront, they really brought it home with some standouts for me: Stardust Glass Slipper The Lovejoy Honestly I'd name them all if I could but these are the ones that keep me coming back for more. Besides the cocktails, the ambience is stunning and definitely something the area it's in needed. Every time i walk in Im transported to my own little bubble where time flies due to the excellent music, low lighting, and incredible service. Definitely coming back time and time again!

My waiter was professional and courteous when I arrived for my daughter's birthday party April 28th. The Manager introduced herself to my group, and was highly accommodating and nice. We loved our drinks ,ambiance and music. I'm sure when the food comes we will be back! This is the perfect location for a bday. Staff and management was easily accessible for party coordination.

I searched for the perfect venue to host my birthday party for months, and I am elated that I came across LoveJoys. Outside of the venue being JUST as gorg as the images, I recently hosted my disco-themed birthday party there, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and the staff was lovely and accommodating. The drinks were amazing. The bartenders were skilled, kind, and knowledgeable, and they were more than happy to make suggestions based on our preferences. As for the organization of the party, Lovejoys exceeded my expectations. They worked collaboratively with my team of friends and family for set up and handled clean up without a fuss. The disco ball set it off for our other disco-themed decor, and Aida was lovely throughout. The kindness of the co-owner is reflected in how warm and enthusiastic the staff was. Overall, I highly recommend Lovejoys to anyone looking to host a fun and memorable event. The staff, drinks, and organization are all top-notch, and you won't be disappointed.

This place is soooo cute. The high ceilings the ample amount of space. It was really nice in here. I take away a star because the bar selection is limited and they do not have food yet. Otherwise it's a very nice place to grab a drink at the bar.

Loved the decor, classy ambiance, and vibes here at Lovejoys! I got the Lovejoys which was a classic, spicy marg with a twist of blackberry basil but my favorite had to me the Palme D'or which was a pineapple tequila cocktail! The staff was attentive and it was a really enjoyable bar to catch up with friends.

This place is truly A VIBE. I came here to celebrate my birthday with some of my friends and everyone was friendly and attentive. We had The All Nighter, LoveJoys, (The Signature cocktail) Kiss Kiss, and The Glass Slipper. We enjoyed our drinks with great music and beautiful ambience. I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a place to have a good time with your friends, LoveJoys is definitely not the right choice. Our experience there was a complete disaster, thanks to the terrible management and out-of-control bar. We had made reservations and planned everything in advance, but none of that mattered when another group took over our reserved area and brought in their own DJ. We would never recommend LoveJoys to anyone.

Aida was the most accommodating lounge manager and was great with communication. I didn't have to worry about anything because she was on top of everything along with her team. We were able to have our own music and had free range of the entire space. If people don't solidify their plans with documents and communication with the venue then they don't have the privilege to complain about their service. Helena D* has no documentation of being promised a whole night of music so it's unfortunate that she felt entitled to DJing the whole night. Very organized and beautiful space for your next event! We will be going back.

Interesting decor for this neighborhood. I'm not sure how I feel about it. But I have gotten drinks here for the sole reason of it not being too packed. It's clean and the music is alright.
