Edit & Update: Changing my overall rating, which includes my first experience, to 4 stars.
My previous review mistakenly referred to the wrong person as the massage director. Vanessa, the actual Massage Director, reached out afterward and encouraged us to give the spa another try. After some hesitation and time to let our initial anger fade, we agreed — and I’m so glad we did.
This visit was exactly what we had hoped for the first time. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were greeted by Janine and Norma at the front desk. They truly embodied the spirit of the spa — calm, professional, and attentive. Check-in was seamless; we were provided with robes and slippers, given a quick tour, and walked through a breakdown of our experience for the day.
Per Vanessa’s recommendation, we began with red light therapy, which was the perfect way to kick off the relaxation. From there, we enjoyed some quiet time in the zero gravity chairs before starting our massages. Tonya and Jonathan took incredible care of us and I’d recommend them to anyone. It had been one of the toughest work weeks for my husband and me, and they worked out every single knot and tension. They really emphasized the thoughtful touches — water prior to beginning, lavender oil on our pillows and masks, and even tea post-massage — made the experience feel truly personal.
We continued our visit with the steam room, cold plunge, sauna, and another session of red light therapy. I especially loved the steam room — it helped with my allergies and left my skin soft and refreshed. My husband enjoyed alternating between the cold plunge and steam room for the perfect balance.
When Vanessa mentioned that many guests spend an entire day at the spa, I initially wondered how that was possible. Now, I completely understand.
While I wish our first visit had gone this smoothly, I’m truly grateful to Vanessa and her team for reaching out and encouraging us to return. This experience completely changed our perception, and I would absolutely recommend this spa to anyone looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating day.

The only redeeming factor of my experience with this business is how nice the masseuses were. My initial interaction with the business did not begin in a pleasant manner.
The address you’re provided in the confirmation email takes you to Torrance instead of El Segundo. The staff is aware of this (they mentioned it has happened to folks before when I called) but they do not accommodate the mishap for first time goers. This misfortune caused us to be 15 minutes lates instead of 15 minutes early. The massage director and front desk were aware and gave the okay to continue with the appointment.
Upon arrival, the greeters seemed to lack organization and inattentiveness. There was a group just hanging out not acknowledging the customers still inside and coming in. The next interaction was with the massage director is she is was just flat out rude. I understand the need to stay on schedule, but that was more of a concern to her than letting us use the restroom.
She did not do a brief introduction of the premises while escorting us to the massage room. Instead she directed an order to the masseuse to cut us on time. There was no room for discussion to compromise the time management incident.
The masseuses were able to give adequate direction, even let us use the restroom, and tried the hardest to help us relax. I did opt in for aromatherapy but didn’t smell any lavender.
After the massage, you’re able to enjoy spa amenities. You’re brought a beverage, but after that there were not any refreshment stations visible or available.
The locker rooms are well maintained and have nice add-ons. The showers have gaps in the doors and the only indication of someone using it is if the overhead light is on. So please be careful you don’t walk in on anyone.
Overall, this experience was not worth the cost or time.
