"Lover’s Only transitioned its business model during the pandemic, eventually leading to its closure. The venue initially opened in early 2018, featuring kitschy wallpaper and schoolhouse-style seating. Its indoor dining space was closed early in the pandemic to focus on Iggy’s Eggies, which operated from a walk-up window. The ultimate closure was attributed to various factors including flawed partnerships and branding issues." - Serena Maria Daniels

This place gets 4 stars alone off the Impossible Burger. Not many places make then good, out the 6 restaurants I've ordered them from, this was one of the 2 that cooked it to perfection. My family ordered a variety of things. Of our meals the loose burger, Classic Smash burger, Green Street (Impossible Burger) and of course the fries were good.

This is really a very cool and unique little restaurant. Very small simple menu. Sometimes I think that's the best - you pick a few things and do them so well you don't need anything else. Their burgers totally hit the spot along with some chili cheese fries. Very easy to stop in before a game or a show in Detroit as its within walking distance to many venues.

A classic Detroit-style burger joint with eclectic decor including chairs that'll transport you straight back to elementary school. With a letter board menu and modern flavors and cocktails, this is a perfectly millennial experience. (And if you're keen for the impossible burger, Lovers Only welcomes veggie eaters alike.) Don't forget a Boston Cooler to wash it all down!

The food was horrible. The order was two burgers and two fries and two lemonades, came to $32. The burger came out dry of the hockey puck, shoe leather. And it was small. The bread taste better than everything, that's the bun to the Burger. The french fries may have been hand-cut, but they had been precooked previously that day and dropped in hot grease to warm them back up. The texture and flavor of the fries were dry and rough. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for a future visit. First and last time going, terrible experience. However the manager did try to apologize but did nothing to compensate for the $32 they had just been spent. I have a former disappointed.

(Vegan) New burger restaurant located downtown. Great atmosphere and excellent wait staff. You order at the cash register and then they bring you your food at your table. Burger, fries and a coke will cost you about $15. They don't really have any vegan options. They do have a vegetarian burger, but I had to skip the cheese, yogurt sauce and the bun, which only left me with a patty, relish, lettuce and mustard. Would love to see them incorporate a better vegan option - but, my opinion is definitely skewed :-) The other 6 people in my party enjoyed their meaty burgers. Definitely get the Mexican Coke - real sugar!

They were out of my first choice on the menu. The second choice, a hot dog, had nice presentation but was served room temperature. Tried to talk to the manager. They couldn't locate her. I won't be back.

You should know, I'm picky. Best freaking burger and fries! I groaned with pleasure with every bite of the burger. Just like mom used to make. And the pickle? Perfect!

Cute little burger shop with a mid-century modern feel. The menu is small but each item - mostly burgers, a couple fancy hot dogs, and a few salads - all seemed thoughtfully composed. They serve a sandwhich built for the Impossible Burger, though you can sub in that vegetarian patty on any of the sandwiches. I tried the Bitter South and its fancy bread, carmelized onions, Emmental cheese, and hash browns and it was a winning combo. The basil lemonade was also a nice add.
