LOVE'S SEAFOOD & STEAKS

The service was amazing and MY food was delicious. Naughtia, our waitress, did an outstanding job. She served us with such joy and attentiveness. For starters we got the Rockefeller Oysters and the Fried Green Tomatoes. For my entree I got the Crispy Scored Flounder with red rice & corn. It was really good. Very crispy & fried to perfection. My boyfriend got the Stuffed Flounder. He hated it. He was very scared to tell our waitress, so I told her for him. In its placed he asked for the Crispy Scored Flounder. She heard our concerns, took his dish, minutes later came back with the new order. It was so dissatisfying. The flounder was undercooked (very pink in some areas and he automatically assumed it was blood), it was wet (not crispy at all; soaked), and it sat in a puddle of water. He ordered it because mine was literally perfection. Fried hard & crispy like he and I likes. It was a very noticeable difference. At that point, it was after 9 pm and we didn't want to burden our waitress who had already done an amazing job. I rated 4 stars because on one hand, the services was exceptional, the food was great, but that replacement dish was made with no effort or care. I could be wrong, but it appears the chef was either annoyed and/or ready to go home. We had seen what the dish looked like prepared perfectly only to get it again made horribly. It was a little discouraging, but for the price I really wished we could've gotten a better prepared fish. Like the first one. I still highly recommend though.

We had our Daughter’s College Graduation Party at Loves and we were blessed to have a wonderful staff to assist us. Amy, Tyler and another sweet young lady (I didn’t get her name) were extremely accommodating and provided the best customer service that I’ve haven’t experienced in a while. They were ver attentive and made sure all our guests were happy. Even when our little ones were upset they couldn’t sit together, they assisted us in giving them a small space so they could sit together. The food was hot and delicious! I haven’t heard any complaints! We celebrated her High School graduation here and so happy you were able to accommodate us for her College graduation. Thank you so much for making our event of 30+ people an enjoyable experience!!

My Church Family & I frequent this restaurant a lot! Especially, when we have our Church Fellowships & Special Events. Ms. Amy the event coordinator is Awesome 💜 She always accommodates us if she can! Our server Ms. Jersey was excellent, professional & able to service our large party smoothly. The food was delicious & fresh! I love how Love's staff worked as a team to assist Ms. Jersey to bring our food out! Of course we'll be back again!

Fantastic restaurant! Everything was delicious. Two of us split crab stew, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp and grits. Portions are large, we left the restaurant feeling full, very satisfied and with a leftovers. Also bought more crab stew to share with family. Highly recommend this place!!

We got the gator bites, catfish with fries and fried okra, and shrimp skewers with fries and green beans. First of all, atmosphere was great. Very nice vibes and friendly service. Food was high volume and price. Gator was chewy, but had great flavor! Shrimp, beans, and okra all needed some more seasoning but weren't awful. Catfish had a good flavor, but was a bit overcooked. Again, not awful at all but could have been better. I would go again, but would probably try something different next time.

We were visiting Savannah for a short weekend. We enjoyed great food downtown but received Love's as a recommendation from the bell staff at the hotel. This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We had gator, shrimp and gumbo for appetizers. For dinner most got the combo platter and I got the blackened flounder. The flavor was beyond delicious. The portion sizes were huge, the food was piping hot and the service was great. Although we were there just prior to closing they did not rush us but they were patience and allowed us to take our time ordering. The next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back again.

The food is always good here and the portions are more than enough. I have ordered from here on several occasions and never had a bad experience. From the servers to the food they make you want to come back. This place is a bit on the pricey side, but the food definitely makes up for it. I ordered the fried shrimp with red rice and green beans. This is something I always order and it has always been good.

If you are ever in this area you have to eat here. Everything was amazing,I couldn't finish it all, I'm looking forward to finishing it for breakfast. Yummy
