Lovesick

I hosted a celebration cocktail party for my daughter and her husband last Saturday. My experience was wonderful! Taylor the event coordinator was very helpful and a great communicator. I enjoyed working with her. Kendall and Jordan were great to all my guests making sure they had everything they needed during the party. The place itself is a great space with a really nice vibe. I highly recommend Lovesick for an event!

Lovesick is the perfect spot for an intimate event. We hosted Welcome Drinks and Small Bites here to kick off our wedding weekend in Asbury Park with 60 of our closest friends and family, and it couldn’t have been better. The entire process was seamless, thanks to Taylor and Tessa, who were incredibly helpful in the lead-up to the event! The food and beverage options are diverse and delicious, and the staff—including the bartenders—were so warm and welcoming. The space itself has great ambiance with playful lighting, vibrant colors, and newly renovated lounge and bar seating that made everyone feel right at home. Bonus: We had our rehearsal dinner at Homesick and simply walked over to Lovesick for the party—it couldn’t have been more convenient. 5 out of 5 stars for the Lovesick/Homesick crew—thank you for helping us start our wedding weekend off perfectly!

Jordan offered AMAZING service! We were waiting for our food quite a while and she was great in resolving this. Would come back purely based off this experience. The events they host are also casual and fun. Thank you, Jordan!

I recently hosted my baby shower at lovesick and had the absolute best experience. Taylor Larson was the event manager I worked with and she was incredibly helpful and clear with all expectations. The day of, Grace and Kelly were our bartenders/points of contact. Both of them were amazing!! My friends and family came up to me throughout the day to point out how wonderful they were. We did a cocktail style event and all of the food was perfect. Vibes were exactly what I was hoping for—laid back but moody. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Low-key 70s free-love era feels, records playing old tunes grom the 60s-70s, beautiful arrangements and divey bar feels makes Lovesick an amazing stop after work or late at night. Food was delicious, I had the tonkatsu ramen, and everything tasted great! Bartender/winetender Johnny was seriously fun to chat with and had good knowledge of wine selection (over 100 selections). Dope dude. Come by, stop here to get some good food, good tunes and a great atmosphere.

recently hosted a group at Lovesick and had the best experience. The bar has such a unique vibe that feels like it’s in NYC. The drink package we got was surprisingly affordable and our guests could have whatever they wanted. Jordan was our server/bartender and her service was perfect and she was on top of everything the entire night, I also worked with Taylor who organized the reservation, and she was so so helpful. She answered all of my questions and was so responsive throughout

Lovesick is a cool, relaxing vibe in downtown Asbury Park. Service is excellent & the ramen is delicious! I will definitely return.

Stopped in late one Friday night for a glass of wine and cannot compliment the friendly employees (everyone from the moment walking in which includes security). If I remember correctly Paul was bartending & helped me choose a wine —comprehensively knowledgeable & incredibly personable. Atmosphere was great and I look forward to returning.
