"With the opening of the Larkspur location of Loveski Deli in late 2023, bagel fans now have two places — including the original Oxbow Public Market outpost — to try Christopher and Martina Kostow’s bagels. Create a custom bagel sandwich with your choice of bagel and spread, such as the yellow chive and fermented onion schmear, or go with one of the bagel sandwiches, such as the pastrami, egg, and cheese option, which comes with harissa mayo, shallots, and dill, plus melty American cheese. (And while you’re at it, true pros know to add on a side order of mini potato latkes.)" - Dianne de Guzman

Outstanding service, amazing staff, and delicious food! This is the best bagel place I’ve ever tried and I wish I could leave 10 stars! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is a complete joke. For example they serve a $22 panini with about $3 worth of actual raw input costs. Marin/ Sausalito/ San Rafael restaurants and shopping are rarely about value and more about overcharging the locals based on property values/ incomes…But this place takes it to another level and should be embarrassed. They find a way to extort you in every possible context while you’re simply attempting to procure a meal. A bagel/ sandwich meal for 2 adults and 3 kids costing $80 is almost so surreal I thought I was taking crazy pills for a hot second…. Then I realized while looking the receipt that the nickel and dimming here is out of control. An extra $5 charge if you request the gluten free bagel!? Why?…. Well cause they know that if you’re trying to eat clean; that’s another opportunity to pad their margins. One and done and never gonna be back.

I rate bagels by a toasted everything with cream cheese. Loveski was good but not great. I compare to Ess-a and liberty bagels.

It might be good, but outrageously priced. $22 for a corned beef sandwich that costs half that down the street at Zee's Deli or even the Mollie Stone Deli? That is an unbelievably high price for something that didn't taste any better, and was even smaller portions. All the prices seemed very high, and that sandwich was one of the cheapest items on the menu.

Food is great. However food is prepared without gloves. Cross contamination and dirty rags used to wipe fingers. Saw prep people touching their faces and then putting tuna and then salmon on plates. Easy to fix. Come on. Very gross. Grossed out.

Solid bagels (sesame are the best of the lot), and excellent whitefish salad sandwich. Like the other reviewer said they are *excessively* overpriced even by local standards. Their lox bagels had a nearly transparent slice of smoked salmon on it; we could barely detect any texture. Sorry but for the price this is unacceptable. The cookies they get from Rory's are excellent. Minimal counter service but it's a nice quiet dining area.

Only reason for 4 stars was the wait but not the employees fault. Food was AMAZING! I got the avocado and cucumber sandwich on a sesame seed bagel. The cook who brought the food out was very nice as well. Highly recommend

Awesome new bagel joint in Marin! I loved my traditional lox bagel with capers, onions, and dill. Fun vibe and nicely designed dining area. My partner who is an east cost Jew approves.
