Loving Hut

Loved visiting Loving Hut again. Missed it. Of course I had to get all the desserts. Udon noodles are always a good choice. And the original zucchini bread. And omg, their drumsticks are good!

Thank you Mrs. LYN or Linda. She was very welcoming friendly and greeted us when she saw us figuring out what we wanted to order. The food was delicious. The beyond brat sauerkraut was very filling, the crispy chicken sandwich was nicely crisp and had a yummy sauce on it. The walnut raisin and the pecan raspberry cookies were delicious as well. We had a cherry soda, but the coconut water would have been better to complete this meal. There are a variety of beverages to choose from and the food menu hot or raw has a great selection to choose from. I’m not into pets. However they have treats for sale for dogs, which is great for animal lovers. The temperature was comfortable, plenty of seating, the restroom was clean, parking was available and the overall atmosphere was great. The two personal things I did not like was… one, the dog treats next to the cookies. I think it should be in a separate area away from human food. Two, the paper label being inside the cookie bag with the cookie. However as Mrs Lyn said the health department never said it was an issue. Hence this is my personal opinion and I bought five cookies.

I love the Loving Hut. The food is so delicious, and ample portions, for a very reasonable price. I treated myself for my birthday and got the glass noodle special with grilled veggies and CK (faux chicken), a bowl of chickpea curry soup, and faux wings for an appetizer. It's well worth the wait. The soup has an indescribably delicious flavor even though mostly brothy with few chunks of veggies or chickpeas. Still, excellent flavor. the wings are crispy and not greasy, very satisfyingly chewy and substantial (just watch out for the skewer in the middle). The glass noodle dish is easily enough for three hungry people. So good. Yum. I have enough food to last me for several meals.

Recently had my first experience with this establishment. I do not live close-approximately 40-45 minutes away. I was in the area and decided to fit in several things in there in my day. I ordered ahead for pick up. Very glad I did. When I arrived at my pick up time I waited at least 10 minutes to get to the register. The customer ordering took a lot of time asking questions. Then everything seemed to stop as the cashier was very busy helping in the kitchen area. I don't think my food was even cooked yet at my pick up time. I finally walked out almost 15 minutes after my original pick up time. In saying all that... I must say that the cashier was extremely friendly and apologetic. She explained that they have several "rush" times, and I hit one of them. Sort of understandable. But the timeliness of my order pick up is still a reason I did not give 5 stars overall. I will definitely give a HUGE 5 star rating to the food! It is hard to find a 100% vegan establishment. This did not disappoint as far as the quality and taste of the food. I tried the spring rolls-spot on with the dipping sauce. The dumplings were a delightful mix of seared, chewy outside and flavorful inside. Other reviews mentioned you would either love the mac n cheese or not. I am a LOVER for sure. Great texture and wonderfully creamy. I had the chili cheese brat as my entree. WOW!!! This place nailed it with the Cincinnati chili. I would give this way more than 5 star if I could. I ordered chocolate cake, carrot cake and a cookie. I have not tried those as of this review but will revisit. So aside from the timing issue I will definitely be back when in the area. I'll just be mindful of the possible wait time. Highly recommend.

Insanely good vegan food! Cheeseburger really impressed me, BBQ drumsticks we're very tasty, Pho was excellent and the CK Panini was substantial in size and flavor. Complimentary hot tea is a great touch, very reasonable price for a hugely satisfying meal! Oh and the strawberry cheesecake is a MUST

The buffalo wrap was delicious! The dumplings were just okay and I didn’t like the Mac n’ cheese at all. The oatmeal walnut raisin cookie was my favorite. The cranberry pecan cookie lacked flavor.

I did a doordash order here. The food tasted delicious and was devoured very quickly. we are the philly sandwich, impossible sandwich, Mac and cheese, and chilli. Food is expensive, but if you're craving it once in a while, definitely worth it Only issue was that there was a piece of plastic in the sandwich my husband had. Totally unacceptable, loses 2 stars.

We love the loving hut! My favorite things are the cheesecake and the crispy rolls. We also like the chick'n wrap and the crispy burger a lot. The sloppy joe and 3-way are good too. My husband also liked the drumstick and I like the macaroni. Good customer service and good prices.

Great staff and so many excellent vegan options. The vegan cake slices are outrageously good.

This is healthy real food prepared with Love! Do yourself a favor. Try it. The restaurant is very small. If you're in a hurry, get it as take out. Otherwise, be kind and be patient.

I was skeptical at first in arriving to the restaurant as the parking situation is not the best. The restaurant is more of a pickup food place than a restaurant as it only has 3 small tables. They have a lot of different food choices to choose from which made it hard to pick a good dinner. I decided on the Glass Noodle Stir Fry special for dinner. It was very good and the wait wasn't awful but the staffing is not very high based on the small kitchen so you will order and wait about 20 minutes for the food. I would highly recommend trying the desserts in the fridge as we tried a slice of vegan chocolate cake which was delicious.

Best vegan food ever! Took my husband, who is not vegan, to try the food and he loved it. He got the Philly and ended up ordering another one because it was so delicious. The workers are always so helpful and friendly. You can't leave the restaurant without a smile on your face. I also love the little touches of celebrities that are also vegan. It's just a really fun and nice place. Can't wait to visit Cincy and stop by!

Been coming here for over a decade, and after today will not return. Quality has gone down hill since covid, but we still patronized this restaurant. But today, sign says open, door's unlocked, and one very rude and crass owner didn't even let us catch our breath, just said "we're closed" and threw us out the door - this was at 3:35pm and they reopen at 4:00pm???! What a crock! This is not the way to do business, some potential options - "our grill is closed, but if you want to have seat until we re-open" or "we're closed but you can grab something from our counter " - not only did she lose a sale today but also long-time regular customers. Very disappointed but not surprised.

Food, services, environment great a1 as soon as you walk in you catch a great vibe and leave with grace goodies

Great vegan food served in good surroundings. My favorite is the sunny burger. Simply delicious. They are expensive, but worth it.

Friends recommended this restaurant for year but I didn't really consider it because I'm not vegan. I was missing out. 2 weeks ago I tried the Philly and I've had it 4 times since.nit is so good, perfectly prepared and the banana peppers hive it the perfect boost. I like mine without the ketchup but it is always perfect any way they serve it. Always get the house salad too. I save half for the next day and it stays fresh. The balsamic dressing is tasty. For the taste, quality, and dietary needs, this is a 5 out of 5! Missing a few big bites because i couldn't wait!

Pretty much the food I've purchased there was really really good and helpful and the people that work there are very very friendly. The burgers are delicious. Glass noodles is really really good.

My boyfriend and I are vegan, and have found it incredibly difficult to find quick, inexpensive vegan food in the NKY/Cincy area. Loving Hut solved this problem for us! We order takeout from here about twice per month, and we have never been disappointed!! This hidden gem has a cute little dine in area, and the staff is always nice and talkative. The beyond philly and the buffalo wrap are our go-to's, and if we're feeling crazy, the mexican wrap, spring rolls, and assortment of vegan cakes/desserts are incredible as well!! 10/10 recommend!

The food is amazing!!! The size of the food portion for the price is amazing also. I love how all the food there is plant base no animals were harmed!!! Lynn is such a precious human with a beautiful heart

I was looking for good vegan food in Cincinnati and this spot did not disappoint. The food was excellent. I got the cheesesteak, Mac and cheese, BBQ wrap, and carrot cake. The cheesesteak and carrot cake were especially great. Loving hut closes at 7pm on Monday-Saturday and is not open on Sunday. There also isn't much in door seating (probably 4 seats available), so it looks like most of the store is carry out. I recommend calling in ahead of time because the food sometimes can be a 20-30 min wait. All together I really liked is restaurant and I know I'll be coming back.

Food is fresh and there are many healthy options, including gluten-free and raw. This is an Americanized Loving Hut, so if you're looking for those favorites like Spicy ChaCha, Noble Broccoli, and other Asian inspired deliciousness, you'll be disappointed, as was I. Raw Taco Salad - Anything with the word taco in it should be amazing. Point blank. Period. This was underwhelming. The salad part was a spring mixture with iceberg lettuce, carrots, and avocado added. As always, I omitted the cucumbers and tomatoes. The raw - it pains me to say this- "taco" meat fell short of flavor. The spicy cashew nacho cheese attempted to save this dish, but could not overpower the sea of bland beneath it. This was basically crunchy lettuce. Veggie Rice - All that missing flavor from the raw taco salad was injected into this dish. My first visit was during lent and I was eating no gluten, so I ordered this without any protein, making it GF. It was delicious! Flavorful jasmine rice topped with tons of broccoli (my fav!), carrots, and onions, all seasoned and sautéed to perfection. Then there's a Vietnamese sauce they add to seal the deal. Simple, yet remarkable. I returned after lent and tried this with udon noodles and with the protein, which is Gardein Chik'n strips. I preferred it without the protein. The noodles were ok, but it faired best with the rice. I also tried their desserts after lent. The chocolate chip cookie and zucchini bread. Both were very good. I didn't frequent them as much as I would have had they been a traditional Loving Hut. That being said, this is still an awesome place for healthy, vegan, allergen-free, and/or raw meals. They even offer comfort foods like burgers (Beyond Meat and Impossible) and brats. Being that this is Cincinnati, it's pretty awesome that they have a Loving Hut to begin with. Not all major cities are so lucky. (There is a LH location in Columbus, whose menu features some of the traditional favorites, but they were temporarily closed due to COVID-19.)

Service was great. Food was wonderful. Ordered the raw Reuben and it did not disappoint!

This place is a vegan's heaven! It has all the entries that meat-eaters get, but plant-based. The zucchini bread was delicious as well and I got a kombucha with my meal. The ambiance is great as well.

I waited more than 20 minutes for my order - 2 sandwiches came out to $26. The food was absolute shit. I go to loving hut all the time in Virginia which is awesome. So I expected a lot from this one as the menu looked quite good. Stay away from this dumpster.

I happened to be driving down the street and finally saw this location. I had heard about this spot for awhile and actually turned around so that I could give it a try. Parking was available in the front. It's location is near a residential area so it's easy to go by fast and miss it. The staff was nice and patient with me since I wasn't familiar with the menu. I ended up ordering a burger and philly along with pho and spring roll. I did get two desserts, a chocolate cake and cheesecake. I tried a little of everything. The burger and philly was really good. I normally don't like pho but this was actually good. I will try it again. I went through those spring rolls. They were small so I was able to eat them quickly. The chocolate cake was also amazing. I would try more menu items next time. It was really good, full of flavor and healthy. I'm trying to do more vegetarian options. Will definitely be back. Appreciate the friendliness of staff.

Welp cincinnati don't have too many vegan spots and I regretfully have to RIp the Loving Hut for horrible customer service and mis information on a menu item. I am allergic to egg and dairy so often times my preference is vegan because I can order whatever. Loving hut advertises as using Gardein chickn. I am allergic to egg and dairy. I immediately experienced some sensitivity in my mouth and had to take Benedryl . I waited until customers left because I didn't want to give the impression that I was causing a scene, but I asked about the items in the dish I ordered. I knew it had to be the noodle or the protein. When I began to ask questions very politely, she took offense and pleaded that they are vegan and would never have items containing egg/dairy. I expressed to her that accidents do happen but she ended up telling me the chickn wasn't gardenin. I asked her to tell me the brand she said she can't tell me that. I really wanted to know so that I can google ingredients because I'm willing to bet it was egg white as many vegetarian alternatives contain. I reminded her that you can't just be switching up ingredients and not informing your customer because people have food allergies. I also reminded her that she actually SAID do I want the gardein strips. She said "I'm sorry" but there was no empathy. She literally said I'm busy and walked about. I won't be back! Then when I called they said you can eat in now. The back area is closed and it's basically just a table in front of the window . I will NOT be back just on the strength that she wouldn't share the vegan chickn used. I wonder if she can legally withhold that info and who I should call. I'm going to ask several people specifically call to inquire about that chicken just because why is it a secret.

Wow is all I can say!!! This place really knows what it's doing. I googled "vegan restaurant" as I normally do when I'm out of town and was intrigued when I saw all of the stars. So of course I punched the address into my navigation and off I went! The restaurant is small and located in the Norwood area of Cincinnati - nothing fancy but who cares? I was hungry!!! When first entering, it looks like a takeout only establishment with a counter and a few small tables but as I walked, I noticed a dining area in the back. Now about the food! It was MAGNIFICENT!!! Everything was put together and seasoned well. There are many options, as well as "daily specials." The staff is friendly, courteous and answered all of our questions. Service was made to order and ready within 10-15 minutes (there was a line, as well as people in the dining area). I ordered "Grilled Spring Rolls" and a "Reuben" (they used Beyond Meat Sausage). I washed it down with Sparkling Grapefruit and topped it off with a slice of vegan cheesecake with strawberry topping. My husband ordered a Beyond Meat "Philly Cheesesteak" (all vegan) and ordered vegan chocolate chip cookies to go. Everything was delicious! To be honest, I wanted to return later but we already had a dinner engagement to attend. My only regret? There's no "Loving Hut" in Cleveland! I love this place!!!

It's a great place that serves and promotes great vegan food. It was a kind of end to our search for good vegan food in Cincinnati area. Food: We went for Korean Glass Noodles, Raw Pizza, and Black Rice Burger. Raw Pizza came with a side of salad and Black Rice Burger came with a side of chips. We tried Glass Noodles for the first time ever and loved it so much (we got one in our next visit to the grocery store and made it at home as well). The Korean Glass Noodles were delicious. Raw Pizza was very innovative and good. You don't feel the slice is too heavy, unlike traditional pizza. The topping of avocado brought a lot of freshness to the slice. The Black Rice Burger was amazing. The patty was delicious and the veggies perfectly in harmony - MUST TRY. Ambiance: It looks like a small place from outside but they have a good seating capacity further inside. Just as you enter, you see a lot of business cards of local businesses. On one side on the walls, they have kept plaques with famous personalities who are vegetarian or vegan. In addition, there are some motivational quotes. On the other side is the order counter and the open kitchen. So you can see how they make what they make. There are a couple of on the go items as well already made like cookies, jams etc. They provide biodegradable utensils for eating which is good and very environment-friendly. There are two rooms inside which has a couple of tables and booths. They also have a rack with a couple of books which you can take to read. Overall, loved the ambiance. Staff and Service: The lady at the counter, perhaps the owner, was very friendly. The service was quick. No issues there. It's a great place to visit if you are a vegan or a vegetarian. Great food and service.

The food gave me an upset feeling in my stomach and I couldn't finish it. Would not recommend it.

This place is amazing. I def try to get here every time in Cincinnati (the only bad thing is sometimes that may be a Sunday or Monday ). All vegan restaurants are the best places on the planet and this is one of my favorite ones. I like to switch up my order whenever I come and I've yet to have been disappointed. Side note: Higly recommend the cheesecake

I finally got a chance to introduce my daughter to Loving Hut! She was apprehensive, thinking it wouldn't be flavorful. Oh, was she surprised! She ordered the Spring Roll meal, and I had my usual, Veg Protein, Veggies, and Noodles. This place is absolutely delicious. If you haven't tried it, you must!

i'm not vegan (or even vegetarian for that matter) and this has to have been one of the best burgers i've had. meat or not. such a cute spot and the staff are so lovely

For vegan food this is 5/5 stars! Everything on the menu is 100% vegan and even with that restriction the menu has a ton of diversity. Truthfully, if you aren't vegan I wouldn't go out of your way to eat here as you'll end up longing for the "real" thing but for those with dietary restrictions add this hole-in-the-wall to your rotation!

I was working the other night and saw a customer eating this delicious-looking chocolate cake. Being the sugar addict I am, I asked her where it was from. She said the Loving Hut! I am not a vegan, but I went the next day to try it out. When I saw all the positive reviews on Yelp, I was even more excited to try it! I got the spring rolls, mac and cheese, and of course the chocolate cake (not the gluten free one). The spring rolls were fabulous, but I also believe you can fry anything and make it taste great. They tasted fresh and were still warm by the time I got home. They also came with a delicious dipping sauce. I was not a big fan of the mac and cheese, mostly because I expected it to taste like Kraft. But if you're vegan or are looking for a more natural version of the bright-orange powdered heaven, I would recommend trying it. As expected, the cake was phenomenal. I wasn't sure how vegan cake could be delicious but Loving Hut nailed it. I would absolutely come back again just for the cake, it was that good. Unfortunately I was inhaling my food so quickly that I forgot to take photos. For all 3 items, my total was only $9! I was shook. For serving all vegan items, this place was extremely affordable. I got carryout so I had limited interaction with staff members, but they all seemed to be friendly and helpful. My order came out quickly and was correct. I am now telling all of my vegetarian and vegan friends about the Loving Hut! It seems to be one of the few vegan friendly spots in Cincinnati, and I love that about them. The prices are unbeatable and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes (and more cake)!

Only been once and the line was VERY long. I also find the hours to be inconsistent. However the food I ordered was good, especially for being Vegan and they have excellent variety on the menu.

I got the quarter pounder and holy crap was that AMAZING!!! I was literally licking my fingers couldn't even tell the difference between that and a "real" burger. Came stacked with lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato, vegan mayo, ketchup, mustard. And a side of tortilla chips. I also ordered a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and zucchini bread. The cookie was a little dry but still good, and the zucchini bread was so moist and delicious. I'm already going back this weekend to try something else with my boyfriend (a die hard meat lover) and even my mom is up for trying it! (She's super weird about vegan food and thinks it's all nasty) The customer service was great and I loved being there! Dying to go back !!

The food is decent but feels very heavy in the air when you are inside. Every time I go I leave smelling like what seems old grease. There is not enough ventilation.

I have been going here for YEARS. I love this place. First off, they're always swamped, so I order ahead by calling in ahead of time (~15-20 minutes) NOTE: Their phone will be busy if there is someone on the other line. Usually takes 5 mins for it to free up so try calling again in a few minutes. My go to is the impossible burger with cheese, it is so filling and addicting. We've all had that impossible patty but they really make this burger one of a kind, comes with chips and I always opt in for the carrot cake or cheese cake when I'm feeling dessert. They have it all. Staff is always kind and willing. I've gad their spring rolls, mac, burritos. I've tried it all and they've never disappointed.

My wife and I were trying something different and it was good. Service was a little slow, but what we ordered was good and I believe it was fairly priced.

I was excited to try this place - I'm vegetarian, so I can't help but get excited walking into a place and knowing that I can eat anything and everything on the menu. My husband was less excited, worried things would be bland, but he ended up loving it! The parking situation is a little odd - you pull into a small parking lot in the back, but it is a single lane entry and exit which makes me a bit anxious. You order at the counter. I went with a Vegan A1 Hoagie with a cup of Vegan Macaroni and Cheese, and my husband had a Buffalo Wrap. The food was all really good. The burger was probably one of the best I ever had, and the vegan mac and cheese didn't just taste like plastic like they tend to do. The only complaint on the Buffalo Wrap was all the hot sauce kind of pooled at the bottom, so there was this unexpected pocket of spicy. We ate in the back of the restaurant where there is a decent-sized eat-in area...with loud acoustics. I normally have a rather soft speaking voice, but it felt like every word I said was amplified. Or heck, maybe it was just my excitement at eating such yummy food! :)

Overall, I like the aesthetics of the place. I kind of wish we could order our food at the table instead of up front, but regardless it was fine. I had the "Grilled CK Sandwich". It was okay. Honestly it wasn't what I was expecting. The "chicken" tasted kind of weird to me and I've had substitutes before. The cheese was something I've never had either and I've also had soy and almond milk based cheese? The presentation was nice (however fries would have been nice if it came along with the meal) but okay. I might go again just to try something else, but i was kinda of disappointed. I'm a vegetarian so i like finding new restaurants but his one was just ok.

We love the loving hut. We go at least once a month as a family tradition. Our two year old daughter loves the food. The employees are super friendly And that's one reason why we keep coming back.Your ordering could take a while if you arrive after 11 AM. There's usually a long line after. So far we have tried the sunny wrap, sauté veggies with rice, salad and Spring roll plate, nachos, pho, Raw pasta, Raw pizza, veggie Panini, kelp salads, chicken drumsticks, dumplings, etc. They are all very delicious.Good selection of vegan desserts. There are a few free parking in the front and a free parking lot in the back.

If you like plant base food this is the place to go.Very friendly atmosphere. You won't believe you're not eating meat.

This place is my go to for vegan food. Its always consistently good and the staff is super friendly.

The Loving Hut is on Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge right downt he street from Everybody's Records. You can park on the street or park in the back, but if you do park in the back be very careful turning into that narrow ass driveway because you will curb your wheel or maybe even hit your fender. Take your time and turn in as slowly and straight as you can. You've been warned. LOL They have a very extensive menu...I mean good grief - what to get??? I settled on the grilled spring rolls, house salad w/almond ginger dressing, and a glass of tea. I was surprised how small the rolls were, but they were good. The house salad was soooooo goood! However, for the luvva gawd the service was slow. There weren't that many people in line, but it took about 25 minutes for me to get my food and I was dining in. I was thinking "did they forget about me?" Knowing all of this...I'd still go back. There are so many things on that menu I want to try...I guess I'll just bring my tablet and grin and bear it until the food comes. It will probably be worth it.

8/11/23 @2:00 p.m., I literally just left Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant & waited about 15-20 min. for someone to take my Order. The lady spoke & said she would be with me but instead she was unpacking Potato Chips & doing some sort of Paperwork then preceded to pack up an Order for someone else. I was really looking forward to eating here but once again, I was "Disappointed" on the Wait-Time. I left after not getting to place my Order & not really sure if I would return. Good Food but "Wait-time is too long!

Some of the BEST vegan food I have ever had. Mac n cheese is delish with the chips & salsa, and the carrot cake soooo delicious. We came from Indianapolis and were very excited to give this place a try. The owner and employees were so sweet and there wasn't a single bad thing about this place at all!! If you get spring rolls, they are cute and little so make sure to get four!! Can't wait to come back :)

I travel from Columbus to come here. I love the options. I love the cheese cake and everything else on the menu!

This place is absolutely delicious! The buffalo chicken wrap is my favorite. Ever since becoming vegetarian, I really missed getting these when I go out to eat, and the ones from the Loving Hut has filled the hole of buffalo chicken wraps in my heart. The portions are so big, so I personally don't find it necessary to get sides. Will definitely be here on a regular basis!

I came here for the very first time with 2 coworkers today on a Friday for lunch. I was super stoked to see they had so many gluten free and dairy free options! They had a little seating area in the front of the establishment followed by the counter where you order the food and then a larger restaurant-style seating area in the back. We ordered our food to go and there was maybe 4 people ahead of us in line when we arrived. Between waiting in line, ordering our food and receiving it, it took AN HOUR! They are definitely not known for their fast service and it was a bit frustrating considering we only had a half hour for lunch. I paid $11 for a gluten free Mexican Wrap ($9 usually, $2 extra for the GF option) which I thought was a bit pricey.. but it was SO GOOD! Vegan cheese and sour cream is typically disgusting but everything about this wrap tasted great! I will definitely be back because we all liked our meals and I'm excited to try their other GF and DF options, but will only order ahead of time via phone and get it to go.

I am definitely not a vegetarian or vegan...but I love the Loving Hut! I recognize I'm not the target demographic of The Loving Hut. Still, I feel compelled to share my excitement for their craft. They create simple, fresh, delicious dishes. I love that their meals are fast but healthy. And that they have a socially-conscious mission. But mostly I love the taste. I've tried multiple offerings and always been pleased. I do tend to gravitate towards the tofu or seitan meals that are titled "chicken" or "turkey". The 'faux-meat' options, if you will. I point this out because meat items in quotations are always something that makes meat-eaters hesitant...but I can tell you (to all my fellow carnivores) that you'll enjoy ever bite! And your vegan/vegetarian friends will appreciate the chance to enjoy a restaurant where THEY have multiple options to choose from. Having been here multiple times, I plan to continue frequenting the Loving Hut. PS- Love the vegan mac and cheese!

I've been here several different times and I have not had a bad experience! Today I gave the Impossible Hoagie a try and whoa! It was amazing! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed!

This place never disappoints! The food is absolutely fantastic. I've been vegetarian for 3 years now and it's rare to find a place with good vegetarian or vegan food. This restaurant makes you forget there is no meat in the dishes. 100% vegan cruelty free meals. Today I got the CK Veggie Rice meal to go and dumplings. I ate the dumplings before I could take a picture lol

wow!!!! this place was fantastic! the cincinnati chili was great! the salad was ridiculously good! the pho was great! the cookie was great! the service was friendly and efficient and the prices were very reasonable one of the best vegan meals i have ever had!!!
