Low Country Fish Camp

Great food. Really enjoyed it. Very friendly staff. We were able to sit outside with our dogs and they have large fans to create a breeze.

Have had this place on my radar for a while and it did not disappoint! We had a bit of a wait (20 minutes or so) but that was our fault, we went at prime dinner hour on a Friday night. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fast; the atmosphere is laid back/casual and really makes you feel like you’ve been out on the boat all day and are sitting down to enjoy your catch. When we left I was disappointed to remember we WEREN’T actually at the lake on a summer night! Only issue is that parking is tricky, don’t park in the first gravel lot right next to the restaurant unless you need accessible parking or you’re picking up a to-go order.

Very good food and very good service. Our server Leah was great and on top of everything we needed. Catfish was good. Hushpuppies very good. Everyone was friendly. A bit pricey but worth it.

Very casual laid back place. We stopped here for lunch on the way back home from Charleston. I ordered the blackened grouper over a salad. It was very good & good portion. My salad spring mix was very fresh. My wife ordered the shrimps & grit. Plenty of shrimps. Grits was cheesy & saucy. I prefer a thicker grit. Overall a very good lunch. 2 thumbs up!

The food was delicious! Our server was very nice and friendly. It is a laid back casual atmosphere which is perfect for my husband and I. Our food was fresh and delicious and was reasonably priced. The sangria was very good too. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Outstanding local spot for fresh seafood! Skip the tourist spots and opt for Low Country Fish Camp instead! Food is always hot and amazing (I love the fried shrimp platter). Cocktails are cheap and strong. Patio is such a vibe. Get there early or be prepared to wait…but it’s worth it!

Best Hushpuppies in the South! You simply cannot beat this place for lowcountry seafood. The first time we ate here an F150 pulled up to the backdoor of the kitchen, threw a tarp off the bed to show a half load of ice topped with 5ft long fish. It was right then, I knew I had arrived at the right place. 👌

My husband & I have been here twice and we have loved it both times! They have a small menu so it’s a great place to go when you’re craving some good seafood. The grouper bites were delicious but honestly the thing that I know will always taste amazing are the homemade desserts. Omg I would visit their pastry chef’s bakery everyday. But definitely recommend this place, great service!
