"Low Country Kitchen, a Southern comfort food restaurant, has closed its Denver location but continues to operate in Steamboat. The Steamboat location recently moved into a new space, formerly home to Cloverdale Restaurant. The Denver location was known for its 'bucket-on-bucket' fried chicken and cava special, and its rooftop patio with a bar and daytime live music." - Josie Sexton

Beyond amazing food and the staff is incredible as well. After a long day of traveling to Denver for our anniversary vacation we came here for dinner. The pork belly biscuit was heavenly, the fried chicken was perfect, and the Mac and cheese was one of the best I've ever had. Big thumbs up from this southern girl!

This place had good food and a fun vibe but just MUCH too pricey for what you get. All the portions are pretty small. I wanted a fried green tomato which they were happy to provide but it was not good at all, pretty much tasteless. Everyone did race about the fried chicken so I suppose I should have gotten that. I would have rather gone next door to Lola’s for brunch.

Go for fried chicken, stay for the atmosphere. We sat at the bar and bantered back and fourth with the bartenders. They were so much fun. They guided us through both the dinner and the drink menus. I highly recommend starting with the bone marrow. We got one per person. The three of us shared a pot pie on the side. Finish off with the 3 or 6 piece chicken with mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts. 👌🏽

good atmosphere, friendly staff. The food was amazing-your typical southern style comfort food that puts you in a food coma and could eat over and over again. Drinks selection also very impressive, alot of whiskey based drinks. Very packed, around dinner time especially during ski season, might be helpful to have a reservation. Would highly recommend

Spectacular food and amazing service. Close your eyes taste the food and you will think that you are in the deep South. We had the biscuits with jam and honey which are amazing. They come 4 to an order. The salads were fresh and crisp. We had dinner family style. The ribs were wonderful, the fried chicken was perfect, crispy skin, but moist inside. If you are in Steamboat and looking for something new and different, give them a try.

Can’t say enough good things about this food!! I had a chicken biscuit as an appetizer (cut to share)yum! I also tasted the fried green tomatoes which were good but not amazing. For dinner I had cauliflower soup, brussel sprouts in a mustard sauce(don’t let mustard scare you. My companion hates mustard and loved this), beet salad and a piece of chicken!!! The food was amazing! Perfect!

The place had amazing food and I would highly recommend trying it! The atmosphere here was also cool and I loved the aesthetics. The only downfall was one of the workers at the bar. She had friends visiting her and she clearly was paying more attention to them then us/others. However, the rest of the staff did a great job so I give this place a 5/5 for sure!
