LOW DESERT / MODERN MEXICAN

Decent food, but comes out very quickly so I am not sure about the freshness. The carne asada had a nice spice, and the Oaxaca cheese was pretty good too. The venue is a bit plain, with mostly outdoor seating.

Low Desert is a fun spot to eat in the valley. Great vegan and veggie options. The cauliflower/corn dish was phenomenal. The cebiche was good and you need to pair it with the habanero salsa. The pineapple margarita might be the best margarita I’ve had. Anis was an amazing host. Paul was an accommodating and enjoyable waiter. Would definitely come again.

We threw a birthday party at Low Desert. Reserved their amazing patio which fit the 32 of us perfectly. It is protected so don't have to worry about the weather. The food (as always) was terrific and the service was even better. Thanks to Paul for helping to plan the party and seeing to it that it all worked out and to Marianne (not sure I spelled her name correctly) for keeping everything well fed and happy. Perfect Margaritas too!!

Incredible Experience from Start to Finish! This restaurant is a masterpiece of modern Mexican cuisine! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant decor and warm atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is innovative yet true to its roots, offering a perfect balance of traditional flavors and creative twists. We started with the tableside guacamole, the freshest and most flavorful we’ve ever had. The entrees were equally spectacular – the shrimp tacos and the vegan enchiladas were rich, complex, and perfectly executed. Don’t skip the cocktails! Their signature margaritas are a work of art, expertly balanced, and delicious, especially The 111-Paloma. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making the evening feel special. Paul paid exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding my gluten sensitivity. Whether you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine or just love great food in general, this is a must-visit spot in Palm Springs. We can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant has quickly become our favorite place for Tex-mex cuisine in Palm Springs. They have a really diverse menu that includes multiple vegetarian and vegan options, which is perfect for me and my wife. The food not only looks amazing, but it is very delicious and satisfying with large portions and plenty of sides. We especially love their burritos and enchiladas, but they also have great tacos, salads, quesadillas, etc. We have always had good service. We like sitting on their covered patio, but they also have good indoor seating and seating at the bar. Happy hour is recommended (2-5 PM) for inexpensive drinks and their happy hour menu.

Amazing tacos, salsa, apps, everything! The service is phenomenal, including several visits by the owner. Water came immediately with the silverware and menus. Chips and salsa were fresh and fast. The appetizer came quickly after with separate plates for sharing. We tried the Brussels sprouts mixed with Mexican corn and cotija cheese. It is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had trying something new. I’ll definitely have it again and again. I had a shrimp taco and Al Pastor, both were bright and tasty, no muddled flavors. Paying is a breeze with the QR code on the bill. We’ll be back!

1st try here and definitely saved on my google map for Palm Springs. Traditional and Creative margaritas and good food with friendly service. Tucked inside the smoke tree mall which lends to shaded area on a 108 degree day. Definitely recommend and will return.

Service was good but the food was average, especially for the price. We shared the zucchini bites (I don’t recommend), the nachos with carne asada (underwhelming), and the aguachile which was a bit strange. Something was off with the flavor compared to how I’ve had and made it before. There are plenty of other better places to go to in Palm Springs.
