This place exudes classic 70s dive bar vibes, reminiscent of Stranger Things or a retro arcade with its ceiling lights and open floor layout. The vintage lighting at the bar creates an intimate, cozy ambiance. As soon as you walk in, the space feels surprisingly spacious—no crowded feeling here. On one side, you’ll find tables, with a long bench down the center. Across the room, there’s a dartboard, and at the back-a private karaoke room, perfect for letting loose with friends. The vibe here is versatile—whether you’re looking to have quiet conversations over drinks at a table or head into the karaoke room for some raucous fun, this dive bar has it all. The outdoor patio adds another layer of charm for those who prefer fresh air, and the interior is great for both small gatherings or larger groups. While parking is a bit limited, this spot is ideal for meeting up with a big group of friends and having a good time without feeling too cramped. Overall, if you’re looking for a chill yet lively bar experience with a retro twist, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This bar is the best. Happy hour is unmatched!!Karaoke 24/7. I live a 20 minute walk away. The team is great. Alex the bartender is great. This is the only place I consider myself a regular at as a local 😃

Karaoke guy was so annoying… her tried to “explain” to the karaoke room how you should “sing” versus “sing” and it was weird and rude because its karaoke… in Nashville… like if you are doing karaoke in Nashville on a Saturday and trying to be a good singer… that’s sad. Weird vibes all around

At Lowbar I felt unwelcome from the start hostile service and two drinks turning into $50 in unexplained charges didn’t help. As someone visibly wearing a Star of David, the whole interaction left a bad taste. The bartender was so rude for absolutely no reason. I asked if she was okay, because her attitude was so bad. Whether it’s poor management or worse I’m definitely not going back.

One of my favorite bars in Nashville. Good drinks, fair prices, and immaculate vibes. There’s a pool table, room for dancing, and karaoke in the back. Bonus points, I’ve never heard a bad DJ playing since I went there, they’re always throwing down some fun and groovy tracks.

Rude staff, specifically the black guy with the Afro. Disrespectful & speaks to people like trash. You would’ve assumed that he wasn’t apart of the staff AKA a representation of your establishment. Zero hospitality. After frequenting here for months, won’t be back!

The staff here is extremely rude. Their drink menu states ‘Daily Happy Hour’. When we asked, the bartender very rudely said “not on Saturday”. The doorman was also very rude.

Low bar feels like a space for everyone - you'll see a man in a fedora, a man with a gold chain, a girl decked out in Lilly pulitzer, a goth, someone in all athletic gear and everyone is just co-existing and vibing. The karaoke room is so much fun, it's causal, you don't have to know how to sing, and each time I've been the crowd is super supportive! I love that they have pool tables, a DJ, booths, and a giant rhino head.

It's loud in here, but other than that, the vibe is cool. There's a nice seating area under the rhino by the entrance. They have a DJ booth, karaoke room, 2 pool tables, and a few dart boards for entertainment. I ordered a whisky sour and a last word. Both were delicious! Service was super fast as well, but they weren't very busy at the time. Since this place is under the basement east, it's convenient for a quick drink or two before a concert!

While waiting for a table at Attaboy, we stopped in at Low Bar next door. The space has a club and lounge vibe, which is probably poppin' on the weekends. Seems like a good spot to host a large party like a birthday since it's so spacious. We were there on a Thursday night and there were only a handful of people there though. There seems to be a few entertainments including darts, pool, and karaoke. We each just had a mixed drink at the bar for $13 each. The drink was pretty strong, so I'll give them that. Other than that, nothing too special here.

Love when Coach is Dj'ing- Im def going to dance! Vic is my fave bartender, always takes care of the people and the lady at the door checking Id's always has a compliment ready, how many places can you say that? Lol always a great vibe at lowbar!! Great outdoor area to catch a breather on!! Kareoke room is always a great time too!

Came here before a show at the Basement East. We played a game of pool and saw some silly people dressed up as Krampus for a bar crawl. They played really good tunes and we had 2-1 beers. This is a great space.

Super cool place. Beautiful decor. Lighting is amazing. Very spacious. AC is pumping. They have a private karaoke room a pool table and really nice staff. This bar is in the same quadrant as four other fantastic bars in the East Nashville area. East Nashville is the shit. Love East Nashville!!! Make sure you see Cane and Nicholas at the bar. Very cool folks.

I came with some friends to celebrate a birthday. We waited at the bar for a drink for over 15 minutes which was not a big deal. I work in the service industry so I completely understand a busy night. After being approached by the bartender we asked for some shots (which were directly from the menu) and the he said "I've never made that, hold on" and then asked the girl next to me for her drink order which consisted of over 5 different drinks. He continued to make her drinks for over 10 minutes and never made ours. Very disappointed

I'm from New York and I am just on a little girls trip to Nashville and was brought to the low bar by a local who really enjoys it but we could have really saved our time . When we got there , me and my friend were carded by someone even younger than us. He looked at our IDs for a very long time scanned them and then finally let us inside. When we got inside, I'm not sure who the person was. I don't know if he was the owner or just a bartender I'm not sure who he was, but he came over to us and again took one of our IDs and proceeded to not scan it, but look at it with his eyes and glasses under various types of lighting, and decided that it was not real. He was rude and proceeded to motion to the door and say we had to get out of there because our IDs were fake, not only are they real, we're both almost 30 years old. I asked how he came to this conclusion and he claimed the font which was identical to my own which he deemed real , and he said he would not argue with us and proceeded to kick us out . 10/10 do not recommend. Your scanner works , but somehow , your eyes are the one that seems an out of state license fake ? There were about five people in there anyway . They can keep the attitude and the rudeness for someone who needs a drink that mf bad .

This place is way too loud! It feels like you're in a club. The speakers need to be turned down significantly, especially outside. The DJ needs his own booth facing the room since he dances around away from the crowd and backs into people. The booths are too small and can only hold a few people. If you're 24, this is the spot for you.
