Loved it! Came for Randall King and the venue is really fun! It was windy, but that didn't stop anyone! 😍 we had a great time and the music is always good! I hope there will be more country concerts soon! Can't wait for Midland and Aaron Watson!

I am glad more indie bands (and more classic ones) come to our city but this place is not very good for that. Security is not very polite and aggressive before the entrance. They ID you and do not have a trash can for all the trash they generate. We went for an event last weekend and the AC was not working and the place was very crowded and the heat was horrible. Probably at close to 100F temperature inside with no air flowing. It was cooler outside. Management needs to be on top of this things and have everything ready before an event that was sold out. Totally unacceptable to have a place that crowded and without AC. Security would not even let you step outside to get some air. Drinks are also very expensive and nothing was ever mentioned about why the AC was not working or at least to say sorry or offer maybe free water at least. Show was great but the overall experience was bad because of this. Probably will not go back to another show.

Venue is okay and as simple as it gets. The sound quality isn’t the best and sounds distorted at best. The redeeming qualities are the bench at the back and that’s about it, sorry I thought there was more. Atmosphere is just lacking severely and the four Pilar’s obstructing the view of the stage doesn’t help. Overall I think I’ll travel in the future to experience my favorite artists, indie artists and the other great bands in Albuquerque and Phoenix. Place was hot and AC is maybe swamp cooler on its last legs. Miss the old venues that this city had and this place is a reminder that those days are long gone. I hope in the future that there is a better venture to host these awesome bands. Great performances and just a shame the place was such a let down. Expect rude security and whoever is checking IDs to be aggressive for no reason. These people must be so miserable that they try to ruin a good evening for the concert goers. Sad this place books such great talent.

Awesome show. People very nice. Violent Vira was amazing. Can't wait till she comes out again.

I thought venue was bigger, the stage was small and it seemed that there was not enough space for the band that was playing. Overall i had a great experience. Caloncho was awesome live, very humble and down to earth guy. Kudos for lowbrow for bringing this kind of artist. I hope they bring it again.

Love this venue! Just saw XIMENA SARIÑANA on Tuesday and was ecstatic to say the least! Appreciate the small setting which makes the experience a tad more private but still packs a punch with their eclectic selection of performing artists. Keep them coming!

The sound was great! Its just that it felt like a sauna in there! A/C 🧐🥵🔥and the guys outside checking the tickets were so rude yelling at us even that the concert had already started and we were just a few people outside. Giving instructions of going first to check ids but really like if we were in the military. With no common sense and shouting in our face!

Google
The big bellied bouncer was rude to my very tiny friend. Tried bouncing her off his belly out the door and told her to buy a ticket outside, outdoor box office wasn’t open 😑 rude, unprofessional, and just plain gross.

Yelp
Not a bad lil place to hang out for the night! Since its so small, the ambiance of the live music on stage can be on the much louder scale than most dives. And the place has that typical dingy bar smell which can scare even the cats away. But after knocking a few back, one may not notice. I love the layout of the place with cushiony sofas all around and faces the stage. And its tiered with the stage at the lowest level so you will always be able to see the stage no matter where you stand. Not sure the pricing on the drinks since we went during a special event but what they did have was great if you like fruity drinks. Wouldnt mind coming back for a lil fun and music.

Yelp
Extremely unfprofessional. The show was pushed back an hour and didn't bother to update the crowd that the band isn't going to play till after the movie started even though we had asked if the band was still playing. When we arrived they still weren't ready and the only reason we found out anything was because we asked what was going on after waiting for almost an hour.

Yelp
came for a back to back friday saturday to see a couple dj sets. i think this is a venue that is used for all kinds of different shows thrown by different organizations/promoters? so my review is sure to be a thin slice of the pie, of what you, ghost reader, will experience. Going to see electronic music and dancing all evening is my idea of a good night out, and seeing little boots and kill frenzy (lnsc) here made me feel so at home like edward sharpe. the small space makes for a very intimate show, you are at furthest like 15 yards away from the artist. the ambience is dark, gritty and divey, which is absolutely my scene. i'd definitely suggest tracking the shows that go on here for those with a finger on the pulse of current music trends. for any homies from la, it reminds me of echoplex, where big names in indie music let their hair down at a smaller venue. sometimes it can be hit or miss, but they usually play differently than say, seeing them at an arena or festival, where they sorta have to preach to the masses. met a bunch of friendly ppl here. well, at an electronic music event ur liable to meet very friendlies, if u know what i mean. big shout out to bartender lluvia. friendly, prompt service and cutie pie of the year. i've ran pie redundant if u haven't noticed. its a good thing it was in sliver. pee pee maw maw, lowbrow palace. pee pee! maw maw!

Yelp
Just a local bar that occasionally has all ages concerts. It has all the feelings of a dark mysterious place. When you are watching a good band it definitely is a great time.

Yelp
I mean, it's a bar. It's not subpar and it isn't over the top. It has an excellent setup (except the grafitti near the bathrooms made me confused and I walked into the staff area like a dumbass). This bar did bar things, served alcohol and had live music. The yelp event was amazing for my first time and really enjoyed getting out. I didn't have any issues at this bar. It was pretty full and I didn't really have to wait long for drinks. Aside from a female getting served as the bartender watched her walk up next to me after I was honestly clearly there before her (I've worked in a bar and have done the same thing, I ain't hatin') it was excellent so I would say this is a solid choice for a night out to listen to live music.

Yelp
Awesome venue. Located near UTEP, it's a great place to catch a show. The actual room is cozy and intimate. I highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
Great place. Have been there a couple of times, once for an art show/punk concert (REAL punk music haha) and another time for some drinks. The stage is situated in a multi-leveled pit with allows you to either get close to performers or stay up top and chill on some of the comfy sofas or chairs. The speakers are well placed so you can hear the performances equally well no matter where you are in the building. THIS IS NOT A QUIET PLACE! I like how loud it is, but I know that isn't for everyone. You have been warned. They have a good bartender who makes good mixed drinks. He's a man of few words who gets your order right out. Their alcohol selection is nice. Not a huge selection of beer, but what they have is good. Considering this is the only place in El Paso that I've seen someone else other than me wearing alternative attire, there is a good mix of people that go here. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Bartenders treat us well- a great oasis for seeing shows. I like the atmosphere and layout. I'm sad it's in its own now since I use to like to travel to the trifecta that was - Black Market, Palomino, and this place. Last week I met some good people here and saw Dead City, Victory Victory, and Ralphene

Yelp
Went for a concert and although a small venue, it was awesome! My sister, friend and I, saw Saving Abel. I really likes the chill vibe. I will definitely return.

Yelp
The Lowbrow Palace is a very cool place to relax and enjoy the view outside or just listen to good music inside. Staff is friendly and well experienced. Sound guy is amazing at his job when bands play. Great for concerts, local shows, DJ, Parties, all kinds of events. Lots of room inside for large groups. Highly recommend this bar. Chris

Yelp
If I could, this bar would get zero stars. This bar used to be so cool. This was a go to bar, whenever we wanted to go out. I came to see a show this weekend & a drunk guy assaulted my friend, & after we left, he managed to follow us & yell at us. Besides this, the bartenders overcharged my card of what we drank. Absolute bs. Bouncers & bartenders should keep their drunk men in control. Never coming back, so sad. Beware. Other places which are way better, don't overcharge & control the crowd.

Yelp
It's sad to see this place go down from what it was but as a former regular, your new new service / bar tenders the worst. This used to be my favorite bar but yeah never again... Up your service please train your staff . If it were possible I'd give 0 stars sorry new owners but here is a serious review

Yelp
This place was absolutely nightmarish! The place smelled of urine and vomit, people were being thrown everywhere and bleeding from their face. Blood was everywhere and nobody seemed to care or clean it up. Multiple people slipped on this blood and got it all over them. One of the walls was cracked and I noticed a white substance seeping out of it - I think it was asbestos! As soon as I noticed this, I got out of there. Knowing this is a bar absolutely terrifies me. I could not even think of purchasing anything from this place! It reminded me of a "Saw" film! The conditions were like that of a horror movie! Also, the manager refused to give me a refund. Not to mention the awful musicians they showcase! Absolutely terrible experience. Will never ever go there again! Will never recommend this place to anybody, not even my worst enemies!

Yelp
Small intimate venue is the only bright spot for this place. Saw a show and the place never turned on the AC. Never going to see a show at this place a again. If I could give it only half a star, I would.

Yelp
Just opened March 2011, El Paso's up and coming music venue- the Lowbrow Palace. Formerly Zeppelin's, this newly renovated building has already hosted a variety of artists from indie groups like Foster the People, Twin Shadow, and Toro y Moi to the likes of Wu-Tang's Raekwon the Chef. They have a full bar, and a decent variety of drinks for the prices. It doesn't have as much going on as other live music bars yet, but it is worth stopping in for the acts that DO make it through.
