Positive evaluation for the fine and delicate food. Moreover it’s quite unusual the interior modern space provides a rare urban atmosphere in such a small traditional village. Great location that is suited in the center of shopping district. Besides it’s also unique to know a Star Michelin chef manages the restaurant kitchen. The guests can easily find the delicious delicacy on the menu. The price is certainly not regular but worth for a try at least. But what I want to present is something specially made for a private birthday event. At first it had came up with the custom-made menu which was prepared a week ago before the event, and the next let me show you the dinning table setting had been nicely decorated with discreet service. Then finally let me show you onwards a sequence of food that are adorable and tasty. From cuisines you can identify some interesting French-German twist . It was a real treat! Good Job!

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant yesterday. Was walking around the entire town looking for a place for dinner and came across this one by chance. The staff were nice enough to find us a table quickly and the service here was superb. And they had live traditional music which was a great addition. The food was very good and was very reasonably priced too. The restaurant is pet friendly and has a very nice atmosphere for all to enjoy. Would recommend to any one!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Löwenwirtshaft, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt right at home throughout our visit. As for the food, it was nothing short of fantastic. My husband had the deer, and he absolutely raved about it, saying it was one of the best meals he's ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was cooked to perfection. As for myself and our baby, we thoroughly enjoyed the schnitzel. It was crispy, tender, and incredibly flavorful—truly a comfort food masterpiece. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Löwenwirtshaft, and I can't recommend it enough. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance made for a dining experience we'll remember for a long time.

Tasty food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. Perfect lunch at the Löwenwirtschaft.

Just go here when you want something that has that extra little touch. Stayed in Oberstdorf numerus times nog and this place is in a class of its own.

We liked this restaurant during our last trips. But after the visit today we left very disappointed. The menu has stayed the same, but the quality of the food has dropped to the lowest possible level. The carpaccio is typically thinly sliced raw meat. The version we got served was essentially over cooked (roast) beef, thick slices and hidden under a generous layer of salad dressing. As main courses we had various version of the schnitzel. While the meat was ok, not great, the side dishes were of unusually bad quality. The potato salad seemed to have been served right out of the bucket from a factory. The local pasta (Spaetzle) had no flavor whatsoever and might have originated from the same whole sale retailer. What has happened here? A bad night? Did the chef have his day off? A new chef. In the last two years the food and service were great. Traditional Bavarian cuisine with a modern twist. Tonight was just way overpriced and utterly uninspired food.
