I volunteered for 3 months with this association. It was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone. The staff are very nice and very good instructors, I learnt a lot during this placement. You have to go and help them with their wonderful work, which is a great help to the people of New Orleans.

I spent 3 months with the Lowernine association, it was a superb experience and i met some superb, friendly and endearing people. I recommend this enriching experience. you'll work on interesting projects with welcoming families. If you're french and you want to learn english, learn how to work with your own hands, then go to new orleans to help families in need.

A great organization that continues to help those most affected by Katrina. Do a volunteer work shift here while visiting New Orleans and help them build one home at a time. This is the poorest and hardest hit ward.

It's a great program I go every Sat.and I can really use the food I'm on a fixed income and the price of food is so high thank you for bringing this to the neighborhood
