"The design at Löyly (which is Finnish for the steam that comes off hot rocks at a sauna) is distinctly Scandinavian, with straightforward hardwood floors, clean light woods, and minimalist wooden lounge chairs occupying the communal space. It’s just a $23 fee to get in, but we recommend springing for one of their famous—obviously Swedish-style—massages, which start at a reasonable $45. This is the larger of the two locations (with more saunas), but there's another outpost in Southeast Portland. "

Massages: 5/5 stars Facials: 4/5 Sauna: 2/5 stars I've been coming here for years and have gotten many massages, a facial once, and the sauna once. The massages have all been great and are priced very reasonably. I have had some that really helped my back and leg pain especially. The facial I got was on a whim and it was fine. Honestly, I don't have any skin problems to address, so it was just a relaxing experience. The sauna is a mixed bag. The facilities are very clean and everything feels quite premium. The products for the foot soak and face mask feel nice. However the sauna itself, they use a LOT of essential oils in the actual sauna room. To a point where it stings my eyes and I can taste it with every breath. I found it very difficult to be in there longer than 5 minute intervals because of how intense the essential oils were in the air, and frankly I won't be using the sauna again unless I find out they have stopped doing this, or have drastically lowered the amount they use. My eyes stung for hours after using their sauna, and I have never had that experience elsewhere (This is the only sauna I have been to that does this) Anyway. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place for massages. But I would reccommend somewhere else for the sauna experience, unless you want to feel like someone is spraying perfume directly into your retinas and mouth while you're trying to unwind.

I absolutely love this place. It's quiet, unpretentious, but with an eye for design and aesthetics. I try to go once every other week (I would be there almost every day if funds allowed). Grateful it exists. I've tried several others in Portland and this one hits all the marks for me.

Google
I had an amazing massage from Hannah today! She worked on a gnarly knot on my back and had me feeling much better than when I walked in, both in body and spirit. Highly recommend booking with her!

I go here every time I am in town. This is a lovely retreat located in middle of the city. Spending 2 hours here rejuvinates me for the rest of the week. It reminds me to be calm and quiet in body and mind. However it is not overly stuffy. I often come here with my sister to catch and relax. The pricing is a good value for what you get. The staff is nice. There are swimsuits for rent if you forget yours There are single sex days of you want the option to go âu natural though my bun prefers to be covered. They give you a towel to sit on but the sauna gets hot!

I brought a group of 4 here for a bachelorette party and the entire experience blew us away. The spa is gorgeous and so peaceful. We all had massages booked but one of the two massage therapists they had coming in that day was sick. They managed to still get massages for three of us and went above and beyond to make it up to us. I've had plenty of massages before but Bobby was on the next level. Highly recommend booking with him, and though I usually don't spend so much on myself, I won't go anywhere cheaper next time I need one. The warm foot soak and face mask was worth the sauna upgrade. You deserve it, don't skimp on yourself. I'm so grateful for the staff and can't recommend Loyly enough!!

Google
Friendly and kind staff, warm welcome. The place was a hidden gem. Very clean and simple decor. The sauna special was delightful combination to allow me to fully relax for 2 hours. Also enjoyed the massage special for an hour. Both experiences were incredible. 10/10 and would highly recommend. Would go back again!

Google
This place is cute! The staff is nice. I loved the foot bath and the tea. There were a few things that weren’t the best. The changing area is small and one of the showers smelled like rotten eggs. The hair conditioner that they provide doesn’t work well as conditioner, which is fine, but I wouldn’t have washed my hair if I knew that beforehand. The lighting is not quite what I would expect in a spa. Part of the space is not lit and seems kind of dingy. I would definitely go here again, but just with different expectations.

Great full body message followed with a sauna and cold shower. Definitely adding loyly to my list of Portland activities.

Yelp
I've never had a facial before so when I booked the 90 minute facial I was hoping for an experience that left my skin feeling fresh and renewed. Unfortunately because I have a treenut allergy the facialist couldn't use many of the products because it could result in a reaction. It felt like more like a massage, which was ok but not what I was expecting. The products that they were able to use left me feeling greasy and like I was going to break out. I wish Loyly would put allergen warnings on their website because otherwise I would have booked a massage or gone somewhere else that could accommodate me. I feel very disappointed. Editing to have another detail: there was no aftercare instruction provided or any products recommended even when I asked. I was just told to find more hydrating products. I really never would have thought having a nut allergy would really get in the way this much. For 180 dollars plus 20% I could have gotten a much better experience elsewhere.

Yelp
Heaven on earth & hottest temps in PDX!! My favorite sauna in town. I have memberships to most spas in the Portland Metro area and Loyly NE is my favorite by miles. The tone and vibe are impeccable. The diverse spa staff help make the space feel inclusive and safe for people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. They also just happen to be the kindest and most beautiful humans, which is an added bonus. If you're a person who prefers high quality ingredients and herbs, spend the extra $5 on the detox tea and upgrade your sauna to whatever sauna special is happening that month. You won't regret it. Loyly tea makes the tea at knot-it springs and cascada taste like gas station soda fountain Brisk iced tea in comparison. I've read a few reviews on Loyly NE that described the neighborhood as "scary". I've been a regular patron for 18 months and was confused by those reviews. I finally realized that the commenters were scared because the neighborhood is a historically African American area, lol! This is so funny, and very Portland! I live in Nob Hill/NW and feel more comfortable parking my car behind Loyly than in my own neighborhood. Dark skin doesn't equal danger folks! In short, go to Loyly NE, get the upgraded sauna package, drink the tea, read your book, TIP THE SPA ATTENDANTS, get a massage with Anneke, don't be racist and have a nice day.

Yelp
Loyly is my go-to sauna in Portland. It's at a slightly higher price point than some other sauna experiences in the area, but I think it makes up for it in its minimalist and comfortable interior, free amenities like shampoo, body wash, and wonderful staff. It absolutely smells wonderful the moment you walk through the door and the folks to go here are typically also very courteous and respectful of the space. I've been going here for almost 2 years and I've yet to have a bad experience.

Yelp
Loyly is a gem. I love being able to go to an affordable sauna experience. Being able to add a message on to it makes it even better. The space is clean, bright, and inviting.

Yelp
Just no. I took my friend here today and we both agreed we would never return. Let's start with the uncontrollable: 1) parking in neighborhood easy, but not a great location. We had a homeless man approach our car window the second we parked. Didn't feel safe & there was graffiti on the building. Alas, I can let all that go and move on Controllable: 1) we were told not once but twice we had to bring our Covid cards showing our first vaccine set and no one checked them. Also, I wont even go into how dumb that rule is since vaccines from 2+ years ago aren't really effective anymore. 2) Didnt get an appointment email or text. Had to call them the day before to check I still had an appointment after reading here about being cancelled on. Annoying but ok 3) we arrived early, and check in was easy. We both were wearing heavy coats, holding purses and had day/tote bags with bathing suits, water, champagne etc. They handed us robes and flip flops and told us we change into them after the massage. Sorry but Why? We asked if we could at least drop our tote bags and coats in the lockers and the girl got awkward but showed us where to go. Again, weird why can't we just change into robes and be called from the locker room by the masseuse. 4) I brought champagne and asked if we could have that. The answer was "well we usually do that for private parties"... which quickly changed to we don't have a liquor license and no when they asked. Last I checked you don't need a liquor license to not serve me my own wine. 5) Massage was pretty good... I do recommend Mason and he's the only redeeming thing about this whole experience. However, lockers being slammed throughout my massage from feet away and people talking outside the door, not relaxing. Also my friend said they used hot towels in her massage and none were used in mine, which I do expect at a nicer place. 6) Massage room had 1 chair for all your clothes and robe stuff... but no where to set down jewelry or anything and almost lost mine by putting it in my jeans pockets. Back to point 3) above.. let's just start in robes. 7) We were told we would get a tour of the facilities after our massage, no one showed up to do so... granted it's pretty self explanatory 8) Everyone raves about the tea. But apparently even that is $5 on top of the annoying $30 we paid to use the sauna... which gets me to my last point 8) this isn't anywhere near a day spa experience which includes a sauna, steam, etc. I'll be paying the extra $$ for Knot Springs next time. Save your money and go somewhere else

Zach R.

Yelp
My massage was canceled after I had changed out of my clothes and after its scheduled time. I was told there was a lingering smell in the treatment room. They told me I could use the sauna for free but did not offer to reschedule my appointment. Up until this I have had great experiences here. Very disappointed in how this was handled, will not go back.

Yelp
I was given a gift card for Xmas that allowed for both a massage and a facial. Sari did my massage and did an excellent job. I have chronic neck and back pain and felt so much better when I left. Amber did my facial and she was s fantastic esthetician . Both services were great and wished I had booked longer time for each.

Yelp
Ready to melt away stress? Need some help getting out of that endless winter funk? Interested in simply treating yourself?? Löyly is your spot! I had my first massage in YEARS a couple months back with Amber and it was life changing. She really listened to where I was experiencing pain and I could tell she's an expert at her craft. I also can't get over how affordable their prices are! We decided to come back last weekend to try out their sauna (first time in a public sauna!) and it was probably the most relaxing thing I've done for myself in months. So affordable and luxurious. They were also so polite and detailed when explaining how the public sauna worked. We were total rookies and definitely should've brought some light reading (and maybe a change of clothes) I can not say enough good things about this place! An absolute must on list of things to do in Portland.

Yelp
I had a great Mother's Day massage here. The space was clean, small but inviting and Mason did a great job getting all my knots out. I really appreciate their products as well.

Yelp
Typically I love loyly! Today, I unfortunately had a less than ideal customer service situation. I stood for almost 10 min waiting to be assisted IN PERSON for a scheduled appointment while I waited to be checked in while the desk person helped someone on the phone. You should always help your in person customer first. It won't stop me from returning but feedback for the future.

Yelp
I love coming here to unwind, slow down and to stop thinking. Specifically, I love: --calming space and scents --calming voices of the helpful, friendly staff --lush towels --simple, cotton robes --simple soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion --samples of skin care products -- ease of scheduling --Zen feeling for hours after my visit --the quiet sauna and the scented water for steam ---the rest lounges ---the chilled water --the big lockers Actually, there's more I could list, but I'm three hours out from my wonderful session there, and I'm too blissed out to write more. Go experience it for yourself!

Yelp
I absolutely love Löyly. If you've never gone to a sauna before, I highly recommend coming here for your first experience. The staff are helpful and the culture and rules are clearly defined if you're like me and had first time jitters. Being naked with strangers can be intimidating in expectation but once you're in and have the lay of land, it's as natural and chill as being in your own home. Everyone is very quiet and self-focused and it's a meditative experience. If you're a non-nudy, bathing suits or towels work just fine and there's no judgement. The facilities are spotless and I love the option of a social or silent sauna. The tea and water are endless and the treatments are refreshing. I highly recommend trying the monthly special! It's affordable and makes me feel super pampered on a budget. I take my mom and sister every year for Christmas now and it's the highlight of their visit. Cons: - MLK is not the nicest part of town - it can be hard to find on your first visit Overall, I can't say enough good things! Just go!

Yelp
Won't return. Masseuse never showed up for my massage. I waited for 20 min before walking up front assuming someone was aware, NOPE, no one had a clue. This was not my first visit.......My first visit was MEH. I had a massage that was very lack-luster. I tried this place again today and included the use of the sauna for an additional $30.00 charge. I was not prepared for Co-Ed locker rooms, but maybe that was my fault for not reading up. The Sauna was not as hot as some. The "cold plunge" was a cold rain shower, not an actual plunge. You could fill up buckets and pour it over you tho. The lounge was filled was hard wood chairs, no cushions to allow for pure relaxation. In the end, no massage.....what a disappointment.

Yelp
Send a gift card to someone you care about in PDX and let them have the treat of Loyly treament! They will thank you~

Ritu S.

Yelp
After booking the appointment and providing my information, I reached there for my 3:15 appointment and she canceled it. I was sitting there for 15 mins and they canceled. If i would have canceled they would have charge the full amount. The therapy didn't showed up. Lack of common. This is highly unprofessional. Will not recommend this place

Yelp
My partner got me an amazing birthday package. This package included a visit to the facility for up to two hours, a one hour massage, a thirty minute facial, an aromatherapy foot soak with herbs and Jacobsen's mineral salts, a spruce body scrub and organic cleansing tea The massage was done by Aiden and the facial was done by Jessi. Both were so lovely. This was my first time getting a facial done. Jessi used the Evan Healy products. She explained everything that she was using on my face which I really appreciated. After I was done with using the facility she left me a note at the front where I checkd out. It had notes about how to clear up my acne scars!

Shami J.

Yelp
Called front desk explaining we were going to be late and if it would be a problem, unfortunately was not communicated that it was problem. We drove there and because we were late the massage was cut in half. Heidi was not very welcoming and could have been a little more positive and friendlier Overall it was subtle but would not recommend it due to the lack of communication. I wish I could have enjoyed the Zen as a pregnant woman.

Joanne L.

Yelp
Was my first time there, unfortunately they only had a few times available due to lack of staff... Which is no problem at all. They were so nice and accommodating. I really needed this massage between traveling and and moving, I needed this bad! The pressure was a little light, although I did keep asking her to go a little harder, poor thing, I don't think she was able to. :( Other then that... it was very clean and cute. Smelled amazing in there.

Amanda G.

Yelp
My massage with Bobbie was not very good. He seemed very new and wouldn't stop talking. Was not the relaxing massage I was hoping for.
google avatar

Kali P.

Yelp
I've been to both locations 2-3 times each and I love them both. My preference is for the MLK location because of the cold mist option, which I prefer to the cold shower. I also prefer cedar saunas and the MLK has one of each for quiet and social. I always get the monthly special with the foot soak, face mask, and salt scrub. I love going and sweating it out after a stressful week or two at work. It's the perfect cheap way to relax and rest yourself!

Yelp
This is a review of the massage services at Loyly, as I have only used their sauna twice. Loyly has a great group of massage therapists. Unlike other spas that take their scents and ambiance more seriously than the massage itself, Loyly has a balance of skilled therapists and soothing atmosphere. I especially recommend Devi, who is skilled at deep tissue massage.
google avatar

Shirley L.

Yelp
I came here for my bachelorette party and was really disappointed with the poor service. The receptionist (short blonde hair) was pretty rude and had a bad attitude with a few of us individually as we asked questions (including if there was a way to cancel a facial appointment due to them scheduling one after the other vs simultaneously, bc only one aesthetician that day which they hadn't properly informed of us and changed our scheduling). Aside from the bad service -- which I never expect at a spa where you pay for some nice relaxation and detox from negativity -- my full body massage was pretty mediocre. The masseuse didn't seem to have a ton of energy and I didn't really feel like it was worth the price. Overall the only redeeming factor was the sauna and my friends.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
Great place to warm up in the cold Portland weather. Lots of natural body scrubs, foot soaks, masks. Your provided with towel, robe, flip flops, and locker. The facilities were all clean and well taken care of. The massages were out of this world...I for get my masseuse name, but it felt like maybe he had a background in sports medicine because he was working out some pressure point in my shoulders and lower back, he did this thing where I would apply pressure opposite of his pressure points and while it was a little uncomfortable in the beginning, he reminded me to breath through it and omg I feel so much better and lose! Great body work! Next time I travel to Portland, this will be my go to!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I decided to come for the sauna experience. Sunday morning. It was a bit tricky to schedule online, and so it is easier to call I think. We just did the two hour sauna deal. It was really nice there. I do wish the lounge area were more quiet for you can really hear it in the sauna areas, but it was still really a nice sauna and lounge area. Everything was clean and tidy, which was nice. The location was a bit far for us, but well worth the drive. We'll most likely be back and buy a 6-pk as it is way more cost effective.
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place, but... Unfortunately, they don't have robes to fit all body sizes. And, they don't allow you to bring in your own robe.
google avatar

Meredith M.

Yelp
What a place! I was in love as soon as I set foot in the door and my visit exceeded my expectations. Löyly NE is a haven of quiet and calm on an otherwise busy, nondescript block and is just the thing if you're looking for a moment of relaxation. I've taken advantage of their monthly specials--the August massage and the September facial--and have come back with three girlfriends for the 3+ Friends Package. The facility and staff exude beauty and relaxation, and provide everything you need for a smooth visit. I'm planning on many more visits this winter and highly recommend the lovely Löyly!

Yelp
Excellent place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the sauna arrangement was easy to use. Looking forward to a return visit.

Yelp
Gosh, I absolutely love Loyly. The facility is beautiful and relaxing. There are two saunas for use, one that is a silent sauna and one that is a social sauna. It is never overcrowded and has always been a lovely experience. The ONLY reason why I gave three stars rather than five is that booking the sauna is a huge ordeal. I tried to book the sauna out because I had a friend in town but it turned into a mess. Each employee told me something different about group bookings. And some staff flat out said there were no openings when I had a friend call and have the staff communicate something different. Such a disappointment because I love using the facility. Hope they can pull it together in regard to scheduling.
google avatar

Yelp
I got to visit for the first time yesterday. Beautiful, functional facilities. They have everything you need, from robes to towels to shampoo/conditioner and body lotion, and even a blow dryer - it makes coming and going with minimal extra stuff really easy. I enjoy the women's only option so that you can bring even less with you (no swimsuit necessary!). I also had a facial, done by Heather, and it was excellent. I added the facility use before and after and it was such a treat to start with about an hour of sauna time, get my service, then hop back in the sauna for a quick warm up before getting showered and ready to go - all in all I was there about 3 hours and it was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I saw a couple people add on the foot soak service and they looked heavenly as well - I will probably give that a try next time. The staff were all very friendly and gave guidance where needed for a newbie like me - I was sort of intimidated going into this new experience, but it was very easy to get acclimated with their help. I did just have a quick note that the appointment scheduling ("requesting") online is convoluted and dysfunctional - the services listed there didn't match the services on their menu and it was hard to find the correct thing to book. Then when I did book, it didn't look right so I called the spa directly and sure enough, they said it hadn't booked correctly and fixed it for me (plus were able to move me to a better time for me that wasn't showing up online). Long story short, just call the spa directly to book.

Yelp
My friends and I came here early on a Saturday morning and were disappointed to say the least in the space. Sure, the place was relaxing and clean, but the amenities were sparse and minimalistic. We were expecting just a wee bit more things to do. But no, you walk in, are handed a robe and flip flops and towel, change in the co-ed locker room (probably because the space is so small they couldn't afford to or didn't want to pay for two separate locker rooms), and proceed out to enjoy the amenities. The "amenities" literally consist of an "Experimental Social Sauna", an "Experimental Silent Sauna" and a shower room to break things up. Literally. Three rooms to roam in between. Then there's an "open" area with four lounge chairs and some magazines. It was frankly very lame. The 45 minute massage that I paid for was nice, but the rest was not worth it. I would only come here if I had a service or treatment scheduled. I would NOT pay the $26 to sit in a sauna for a few minutes, listen to gaggles of girls talking way too loud, and then go shower and change in a space with creepy bearded men hovering nearby. Next time I'll take my business to a Korean or Russian bathhouse instead.

Yelp
Great relaxing spot with friendly staff. Visiting Loyly should be part of your Portland itinerary during your visit.

Yelp
Just spent a nice four day weekend in Portland and was craving a good massage. It had been awhile since I'd visited a spa and I wanted to do a little research in the area to be sure I ended up with a good experience. I found Loyly and read about their Scandinavian-inspired spa design. I had never been to such a place and was intrigued. I also looked at the Yelp reviews, which were mostly all positive. Though this location includes a sauna facility, I did not have the chance to use it (not enough time), but I wanted to share my experience with their massage services. I booked my massage two days in advance at the NE location and requested a Yelp favorite masseur, Mason, for a 1-hr massage. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted by name! The receptionist had me complete a simple massage waiver which is standard at all facilities (all modernized through an iPad). Within minutes, I was checked in and after I made a quick restroom stop, Mason was waiting to greet me. After going through a review of what to expect, he offered a choice of three different aromatherapy options (I chose eucalyptus) which he then added to a bowl below my headrest and poured hot water over, thereby creating a fresh and fragrant steam. I cannot begin to share how extremely satisfied and impactful Mason's massage was for me. He was professional and used precision to work out special areas in my back and shoulders by pinpointing the troubled spots. He was always communicative with me and asked me to be the same if pressure was too soft or firm. At one point I shut my eyes and fell asleep for a few mins. It was wonderful. Wrapping up, it seemed like just the right amount of time had passed, I neither felt rushed or that I went into overtime. I left completely invigorated and once again, the staff was extra hospitable on my way out. I would recommend Loyly to anyone looking for a beautifully minimal, yet clean and relaxing facility to enjoy a massage at. I'm counting the days until my next trip... and visit to Loyly.

Yelp
I love Löyly! It's a nice way to treat yourself after a long day & my skin always feels amazing afterwards. The facility is clean and well-kept. The foot soaks are highly recommended! The reason for not being 5-star is the front desk seems a bit disorganized - not sure if it's the system they use or human error. Each time we've visited, there's always some sort of confusion or mistake about the appointment which is awkward. I'll still be back!
google avatar

Yelp
If there is an afterlife, I hope it's half as good as my experience at this place. I had a 60 minute massage by Julia. Not only did it relieve all the pain and soreness in my back, but it set my day off with a positive and hopeful mood. The facility is gorgeous and I'm definitely coming back to utilize the sauna and relaxation areas.

Yelp
I just recently received an email and a gift certificate apologizing for the mix up. Wow! The gift certificate, which is great of course, but even more lovely was the nicely written apology. Totally made my day, and I am definitely going to spend the next drizzly Sunday in the sauna. Thanks Loyly!

Yelp
My girls and I did the Summer Happy Hour Spa Special for $69! This gets you a 45min massage + 2 hours in their spa which includes 2 dry saunas (different temperatures in each one), wooden benches and lounge chairs, magazines, showers with aromatherapeutic shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, lockers, bathrooms, and changing rooms. They also have a bottle of lotion above the wash sink. You can buy bath salts, foot soaks, face masks, or some tea as add-ons. They don't have a steam room. My massage by Chrissy was AWESOME! :) You get to choose between 3 fragrance oils in your room - lavender, sage, and another one that (woops!) I forgot. Chrissy gave me a relaxing Swedish massage which I thoroughly enjoyed, even though I usually prefer deep tissue massages. 5 stars for her! I usually don't talk during my massages, but we actually ended up talking quite a bit during my massage. That was my choice though. 3 stars for the spa since dry saunas aren't really my cup of tea. Plus I didn't feel like the add-ons were worth it for the price. Next time, I'd probably skip the spa and just get a massage + facial.

Yelp
Had a great experience today! The space is beautiful, clean and inviting. I enjoyed moving between the sauna and cool room. The foot soak made my feet smell better than they ever have before. I will definitely visit again. I gave this only 4 stars because this location would be even better with a steam room like the SE space.
google avatar

Jared H.

Yelp
I did the $39 special. I may be spoiled as my fitness club offers an experience similar to this minus the mud mask and bath salts without extra charge. Not super cozy or spacious. If you're looking for a massage and sauna, that could be cool. I was just checking this out for a new wellness scene to go unplug for a couple hours. Chairs are hard wood. Towel scene is weak. Give me a chase lounge chair with pads, and unlimited towels and a more spacious area to dress up and down.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
Another reviewer wrote that they'd take their business to a Russian or Korean bathhouse. Hello? There aren't even any of those here in Portland. So don't listen to them - Loyly is lovely. To some, the accommodations may seem a touch spare compared to other lavish, overstimulating spas - don't let that dissuade you. Calm is what is happening here. Beautiful, peaceful calm. Minimal interruptions on the eyes and ears make this spot an absolute gem in the hustle and bustle world. My husband and I have been clients for over three years and were downright angry to realize we could have been steaming our cares away the years before had we known Loyly was here - our loss is your new gain.

Yelp
This was my second time in. I had a massage with Rebecca C this time and it was amazing- one of the best I've ever had! She had the perfect amount of pressure to work through some knots, but still allowed me to enjoy the massage. The facility is simple and inviting. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Yelp
Having a robe 3 sizes too small and the giggling in the back made for a less than relaxing experience.

Yelp
Loyly is just lovely! Great massage, great atmosphere. I loved the sauna, foot soak, and relaxing time I spent there while visiting a good friend who now lives in Portland.

Yelp
I had a great prenatal massage with Rebecca. She was a knowledgeable therapist and provided a calming atmosphere. My only complaint is that the room was not sound proof, so I could hear everything that was happening at desk front desk. This made it hard to relax fully. Good experience otherwise!

Yelp
Got the monthly special for Mother's Day and had a wonderful experience. The special included a foot soak, kombucha, face mask and hour long massage with two hours of sauna access. He facility is very relaxing and clean. The highlight had to be the massage with Aiden. Hands down the best massage I've ever received. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Wow. Melissa gave the best massage I have ever had in my life. Absolutely amazing! I've never had a 30 minute massage (only 60 min), so I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make, but seriously -- the best. So relaxing, and her techniques were incredible. All in all, a beautiful time spent at this spa

Yelp
Had a great relaxing evening here with the monthly special package. It included sauna time, aromatherapy foot soak, face mask, bath salts, and rose kombucha (although this package changes every month). The locker room and showers were very clean and welcoming. The saunas felt amazing and putting the birch water on the sauna coals smelled fantastic. Foot soak was heavenly too, a sensory experience. The bath salts left me feeling smooth like a newborn baby. All that relaxation for $40, I will definitely be coming back :)

Yelp
Just went for the first time for a happy hour massage. Jen was awesome and did exactly what I requested. I would certainly go again and would be interested in checking out what other spa options they have to offer. If I went back, I'd definitely ask for Jen again, but spring for the 90 minutes (60 is just too short!)

Yelp
Can I just live at Loyly every day please? Such a great reset going there for some sauna/relax time. I've had massages and facials there too that were exactly what I needed. Thank you, Loyly!

Yelp
Just went for my first time. The sauna session was very pleasant, and I do like the minimalist facility. But the acoustics are loud and you can hear everything everywhere. I opted to add a 30 min massage and facial to my experience for a total of $100. These were unremarkable. It started with a debrief and questions about target areas, where I explained my hips were very tight and that the therapist could focus directly them and I would be happy. This was followed by a super gentle caressing of my legs and back. When I asked to apply more pressure, i was met with "I'm getting to know your body first" and it never happened. My upper hips were not touched. She found a knot in my neck and without ever actually kneading it, said it would be worked on during my facial later. Jump to the facial: I must admit I've never had one before. It was relaxing. A series of applying what I think were cleansers, light massaging, rinsing, repeat. But my knot in my neck was overlooked. The whole experience left me feeling wanting more, but not in a good way. I'd recommend sticking with the sauna only.
