I’ve lived at the LPM for a few months now and I can definitely say that from the moment that I toured this place, through moving in, and my current day to day; the people, the amenities, the atmosphere, the location, it is and has been immaculate. I truly would recommend this place to anyone. Shoutout to Liz K and Pelli, they’ve made living here feel really natural and welcoming, they’ve been really supportive since day one helping me get moved in and feel at home. As long as I live in Minneapolis I can’t imagine staying in a different place.

One star. It's unfortunate that negative stars aren't possible. My advice: Avoid LPM and Weidner (property owner) at all costs. I moved into LPM on March 1 2025 and it has been a nonstop parade of problems since day one. The building is marketed as high-end, luxury living. In reality, it is the complete opposite. This is the worst managed residential building I have ever lived in, and I would strongly advise anyone considering LPM to look elsewhere. My shower handle was broken and missing a piece when I moved in. There were a couple of times when I went days unable to turn the water on or off, which meant no shower. It took them months to finally install the simple plastic piece that fixed the issue. That level of delay is typical of their maintenance process. The elevator situation has been horrific. LPM is a 36 story high-rise with three elevators, yet we spent almost two months this summer with only one functioning. Wait times regularly exceeded ten minutes, and once you finally got one, you were packed in tightly with a dozen or more people. Their excuse was that they were always waiting on parts and blaming the vendor. If you run a skyscraper and your elevator vendor is not doing their job, you replace them. Weidner simply did not. They allowed the situation to drag on for months with almost no communication. Doors and door handles throughout the building are frequently broken. At times it is difficult or impossible to access areas you are supposed to be able to use. It is one basic failure after another. Many of the floor to ceiling windows were installed incorrectly or neglected long enough that there is now an unknown substance growing between the panes. It clouds over large portions of the glass and ruins the views the building heavily advertises. Instead of addressing this in the summer, they began replacing windows in the middle of winter with only a couple days notice while temperatures are in the teens. The outdoor pool was broken until July, which meant another amenity we paid for but did not get to use for a large portion of the year. Overall, the building is simply not maintained. Weidner allows infrastructure to break down and stay broken for long periods of time. Communication about these issues has also been terrible. They went through two property directors in a short period of time because of ongoing negligence and complete lack of communication. The newest director and management team have been slightly better but still far from acceptable. Conditions became so bad that residents formed a tenant union. Even then, Weidner and the property leadership refused to offer any concessions. No rent discounts, no compensation, nothing. The only positive thing I can say is that the assistant manager and leasing staff are very friendly and have consistently tried to help. The problem is not the frontline team. The problem is leadership and ownership. LPM has a great location near Loring Park and downtown, but that is the only good thing about living here. Everything else is a headache. I have a few months left in my lease and there is absolutely no chance I would ever renew. I strongly recommend that anyone considering LPM or any Weidner property look elsewhere. They are extremely poor property owners and managers, and I regret ever signing a lease here.

We could not be more fond of this wonderful apartment we get to call home. We have lived here for three years now, and enjoyed every minute! It’s truly a gorgeous building with such friendly residents. The light you get on the daily with the floor to ceiling windows is next level and has improved our mental health day to night! There’s regularly community events that are genuinely really enjoyable - continental breakfasts, wine and cheese nights, bingo nights, holiday parties etc! We just had a Halloween one and everyone got so creative with their outfits and the staff made it so fun. It’s such a comfortable and well maintained space. Weidner took over management in summer of 2023 and while at first we were uncertain about the quick sale and transition simply due to not being informed of the sale by the previous management company, we couldn’t be more pleased with the transition. Everything got better and it honestly was really enjoyable as a home before then as well. The staff are so kind, they greet us by name and are very quick to respond to any concerns. They’re also just super fun and down to earth people, which is so wonderful to experience on a day to day basis. We spent years traveling and moving around quite a bit for work and settling into LPM and our unit here really lead us to want to stay in one place — specifically this place. Loring Park as a neighborhood is a stunning community with sooooo much nature access, which is crazy because it is smack dab in the center of the city. As someone else recently noted there’s lots of parts that feel NYC adjacent - almost Brooklyn like and I didn’t expect that! We don’t have a car and mostly walk, along with the occasional Uber. We walk a LOT to the North Loop and back, it’s a really lovely time to take in the city! It’s actually ended up being a huge blessing NOT having a car because of how walkable it is. However when we do rent cars for work, the parking system in the building is STELLAR, with plate recognition and app control of your parking reservations, it’s a breeze. Could honestly write a lot more here, which says a lot because I’m actually a pretty picky renter! If you’re looking for a comfortable, inviting, safe Loring Park apartment complex that works to ensure your needs and answers are met - this is it. Highly recommend 🤍 (editing to note that I’m genuinely baffled by some of these low reviews, a lot of them are just blatantly untrue based on every lived experience I’ve had here and every conversation I’ve had with other residents living here. So I’m not sure if some folks just are determined to have a bad time, but I personally wouldn’t put much stock in some of the oddly dramatic negative reviews listed here)

I truly wish I could give no stars. Me and my husband have never been so excited to leave an apartment. Don’t let the views fool you. You will waste every penny you have on this apartment. Elevators are ALWAYS out of service. No one to contact. Maintenance doesn’t respond. Management doesn’t respond or notify of hazardous issues. Constant sirens in the area. Pool never open on time. Amenities constantly under repair. Waste of 8’months of my life.

I absolutely love my individual apartment. But management demonstrates that they do not care about resident safety. The elevators get stuck multiple times a week. The emergency call buttons do not work. And cell service is unavailable. Be prepared to have to pry open the elevator doors. Management has been aware of this for months, but has still not addressed. A tenants union has been formed in the building due to the lack of care management has for its residents. Even in forming this union, management dismisses safety concerns.

The move in process was fast, efficient and easy. The leasing staff was very knowledgable and kindly guided me through my options. LPM has a lot of great things to offer that most other apartments don’t. Very happy to call this place home!

I've lived here for about 45 days thus far and am loving the space and location! These apartments get so much natural light with the floor to ceiling windows, which I love. Prices for these apartments are very competitive for the area and the leasing staff are very responsive and knowledgeable. I worked with Nisha during my application and move in process and it was extremely smooth. The building is kept clean and maintenance has responded to any maintenance issues I have in a timely manner. If there are any public space maintenance issues, the staff is quick to update tenants via email before, during, and after repair. Loring Park is a great area and if you are looking to move here, LPM is a fantastic choice!

Yelp
To preface, I only lived here for a few months but when I lived here (back in 2019) it was not that bad. It was well managed, clean, amazing amenities and views. I never had any issues and I really loved living here. I do realize that things have changed since that time... It doesn't take away from the amenities, the views, and the building itself as a whole. I have visited this building a few times in the recent months and from what I can tell, it is still very well maintained (minus some elevator issues) but now that those issues have been solved.. there appears to be no issues. The doormen / security are always nice and not difficult and respectful. It makes me consider actually wanting to move back to this building!

Yelp
Avoid at all costs. This property is a prime example of how you can take a very nice building with awesome amenities and still have it be a terrible awful no good experience - simply because of how it is (or more aptly isn't) managed. Truth is you'll be wowed by the views and the amenities and you'll want to live there.....and if you choose to, that's when the real experience will set in Properties like this are luxury not just because of how they're built, but how they're managed and the community that actually lives there. New owners are cheap cheap cheap. They've cut every corner they can from eliminating the front desk concierge (a necessity for receiving deliveries) to neglecting the pools and hot tubs (often a murky shade of algae scum green). When the wind damaged the cabanas on the pool deck, they decided to leave them broken and in pieces during the winter months because they plan to replace them in the spring. There is no more pride in the property by the management company and the community of people who live there are losing pride as well. If you want to live down the hall from drug dealers who party all night, this is the place for you. If you have an extremely high tolerance for being treated like a burden by your management company instead of a valued resident, this is the place for you. If you want million dollar views of the Minneapolis skyline and amazing balconies....and don't care at all about any of the things I mention above that drove me away, then this is the place for you. After my first lease term was up, I decided this was not the place for me. Good riddance.

Yelp
I was one of the first 10 people to move into the LPM 36-story luxury apartment building when it opened in 2014. At that time, the property was a high-end, high-rise, luxury apartment building and was written up in multiple media sources. The tenants before George Floyd were very professional working people and very respectful. After George Floyd, the caliber of tenants seriously dropped!!! This beautiful luxury apartment building (the tallest apartment building in Minneapolis) has become a run-down free-for-all, which has taken its toll!!! The carpet in the hallways of each floor is covered in dog urine and dog feces stains and the carpet is almost 10 years old, which was the same carpet the building had when they opened the apartments for rental. As well, the hallways have never been painted since the building opened in 2014. The pool is filthy, and the chairs are old and torn up. The cabana furniture at the pool has holes and they are dirty. Bottom line..... The appearance and hygiene of the current tenants living at the LPM are scary and not somewhere you are proud to live. I fear for my safety, and it's very, very sad......:(
