LTD Brewing has been on my list for a while after seeing their cute flight paddles on Instagram - and it will continue to be a go-to spot!
We walked over to LTD after being at a different spot in Hopkins, and we're happy to see it buzzing on a Friday night! We walked inside to be seated and we're greeted by a host/waitress. They said we could find a seat inside or outside and we would have table service! The inside was warm and woody, yet a little eclectic with their decor and signs - I loved it. The bar is at the center with two sides to order from, while the table service orders are picked up on the corner under the LTD sign - it's also nice and spacious inside! Since it was a nice summer night, we grabbed a space for four outside on their patio - where LTD has taken over the sidewalks near them and put up a white tent with tables and chairs. It's the perfect little quaint Mainstreet vibe.
The service was excellent at LTD. After finding our seats, only a minute later a waitress came by with a QR code and said we would be helped in a minute or two. We had just enough time to look at the menu and decide when another waitress came by and took our orders. Throughout the night different servers would check on us, which was great! And it didn't feel like overkill either. The drinks were super timely as well, coming out to us less than 5 minutes after we ordered every time - even though the patio was full of people! When we wanted to go inside and enjoy the live music, we didn't even need to close out - they just made note of it and said that the tips are pooled so we didn't need to worry about tipping each server that helped us. On top of it all, while being busy, every single server we encountered was kind, attentive and helpful.
Now for the drinks! I ordered one of the flights I have been ogling over on Instagram, and it did not disappoint. I don't think I've ver had a flight where I liked every. single. one. until now. The OPPC was an orange infused version of their light Patio Crusher beer. It was perfectly citrusy without being like a sour. The Muffin Top was a crowd favorite by my group - it really smelled like a blueberry muffin and you could definitely taste it in the light beer. One of my favorite specialty beers I've had anywhere! The Apricot Hefeweizen was also a deliciously fruited light beer without the sweetness of a sour - similar to the OPPC. Their Raspberry Seltzer was delicious! Nothing unique, but a delicious sweeter seltzer. Finally, my favorite of the rotation was the Mangonator - it seriously tasted like drinking alcoholic mango juice. It was sweet and smooth, and I wasn't even sick of it when I got a pint after my flight. When we went inside, I tried their signature Friday Night Drink - Firken Friday, which rotates every week! This week was a pineapple mango seltzer, and it was delicious, sweet and refreshing.
Overall, I absolutely loved my night at LTD and loved every drink I tried! I can't wait to come back and continue to try their beers as they rotate.
