Which Minneapolis and St. Paul Patios Are Open Right Now, Summer 2020 | Eater Twin Cities

"I found their patio is currently open with tables sometimes placed on existing patios, in parking lots, or on sidewalks; guests are asked to wear masks and all staff will be masked, with precautions in place—check with the restaurant for individual days and hours. Studies suggest lower exposure risk when dining outdoors, but that benefit depends on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines." - Joy Summers

Which restaurant patios will reopen June 2020 in Minneapolis and Saint Paul? | Eater Twin Cities

"I expect its patio to open next week; seating will require reservations and be at a diminished capacity, with social distancing enforced. Masks will be required for workers and for Minneapolis diners (but not in St. Paul). Minneapolis has relaxed zoning to let restaurants reclaim outdoor space such as parking lots and valet stands, though Mayor Melvin Carter and the St. Paul city council are still expected to address zoning concerns. This list may change as the date nears; for updates emailminneapolis@eater.com." - Joy Summers

Google
They through the best block parties and events! I love that they support the community. The owners are great! I wish the place was a little bigger, but that's out of their control. Not always my favorite beer, but that's my personal taste preference.

Google
Through a few visits I've built a pretty solid read on the brewery here. Overall LTD has good place with a calm atmosphere, uncomplicated vibe, and good beer. There's usually a good spread of beer types though the slant is typically more standard pale ale styles. The place is clean with nice decorations. Not much else to say, my experiences have been pretty positive. One sort of weird thing that separates LTD from other breweries is their table service style of serving over counter service. It isn't really a good or a bad thing, but it did catch me off guard the first time I visited. However, the staff have always been helpful and friendly, never leaving you without a drink for too long. I think there's also the option of visiting the counter as needed. Overall I can definitely recommend a visit here if you're a beer drinker. There's enough diversity of beer to be interesting without overdoing it.

Google
Really liked this brewery. The layout was fantastic. Lots of outdoor seating, both shaded and not. Inside the taproom was cozy. It's located in Downtown Hopkins, they don't have a ton of room, but they make it work. There is a good selection of beers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. But more importantly, they were personable and relatable. Even amidst the chaos of the Raspberry Parade they were getting beers to thirsty patrons! The patio and taproom is kid and dog friendly. If you haven't, check them out!

Google
Loved this brewery! Cute place, plenty of room, and they have waitstaff that take your order. So no long lines at the bar.....well organized. But more importantly the beer is really good. Nightmare and the apricot were the favorite beers. I also tried the watermelon hard seltzer which was really good. Freshly popped popcorn is a nice touch, plus it keeps you thirsty. 😉 The beer is worth the visit! Easy parking with a parking lot across the street and street parking.

Google
Staff is friendly and great service! Unfortunately they were having a draft issue with their Hefe beer while we were there. Staff suggested it had been going on for days. Pull the beer if it's not up to standards! Turned out very flat. Otherwise atmosphere and other beers were good! Facebook Like counter was a fun touch!

Mister J.

Google
Neat place to visit. Servers took a while to acknowledge our existence (after we were told from one of them there was table service only). Beers were average. A few were better than average. A few were below. Neat ambiance in a great location with free parking. Prices were very reasonable. $10 for a flight of 5 (5 ounce) beers. Adding another 5 ounce beer was $2.

Google
If you haven't been here you need to go! And if you have been here you need to go again! It's newly remodeled and is better than ever! The patio is perfect for a date night. Did you know they have a LTD Club and Cold Brew Coffee ☕? PS I am coming all the way from Aspen, CO for this Patio Slammer. Yes, it's that good! Only a few Crowlers left for the season.

Jess E.

Google
Always a good selection of different beers. Everything from IPAs to stouts to sours. Something for everyone, even the non-drinker in the group. Friendly service as well. Free popcorn or bring your own food. Plenty of board games.

Yelp
Such a fun spot, they always have a great lineup of beers on tap, including rotating flavors and specialties on Friday's. A great dog-friendly patio atmosphere in the summer, with a lot of live music, friendly servers, and fun things going on. (Also keep a look out for the annual LTD block party) This brewery is a top tier Hopkins staple!
google avatar

Mikena S.

Yelp
I love the brew options, they typically have a seltzer available for people like myself that don't that prefer a sour or a seltzer over a beer. I do have to say their blueberry muffin sour was my favorite! Service is always great, we love to sit on the patio and soak up the Minnesota summer.
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
LTD is so fun and perfect for a patio drink. Our server, Anna, was super nice and even took our drinks to the patio to us when they were ready! She was also roaming around taking orders on the patio. We each got a flight with all the fun new summer flavors. They have something for everyone, seriously! My favorite is by far the blueberry muffin. It's just so good!

Yelp
We visited Hopkins a little ahead of a dinner reservation and walked around a bit before we stumbled across LTD brewing. It's just around the corner from the main street and has a nice set up with plenty of space for patrons. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was steady traffic, but it wasn't overly full. There's a few outside spots and plenty of inside seating. The variety of selections was good. There were some normal rotations and a few seasonal as well. I grabbed a beer and partner opted for the grape ape. Both were good and would've definitely led to trying a few more if it wasn't for a dinner reservation. The only thing that was a little odd is that, as we were going in, it appeared that someone had definitely over-enjoyed their time at the brewery as they were carrying a bike and stumbling down the sidewalk, bumping into cars and nearly falling over multiple times. It is a drinking establishment though and I guess that means the other options must be good too! The spot has a fun vibe, lots of options for drinking and free popcorn! This would be a great place to spend an evening with friends and I think we will definitely schedule some extra time to visit when we are in Hopkins.

Yelp
Cute little brewery. I don't get over to Hopkins often but LTD is well worth the stop. The tap room is comfortable and the staff friendly. The beer is good. Parking can be a bit of a hunt but I never end up having to park too far away. Thanks LTD for consistently brewing delicious beers that are poured by friendly beertenders.

Scott R.

Yelp
A great family friendly brewery in the heart of Hopkins. The service is top notch and there are a ton of great spots nearby to get food from.

Yelp
The question is: "what went well?", it's , "what didn't go well?" It's a perfect size for friends from the local to the long distance to meet! It's not cavernous like some micro breweries which makes it special, but it can still rock on with their big events! A lot of the same staff too that seem quite cohesive!
google avatar

Olabisi P.

Yelp
Really like this brewery. Had a large selection and they give you the option to get a flight for $14! You can try five types of beer. I think that's a fantastic deal. Really pretty prop and when I came in they had popcorn! Really cute hidden gem. Will be back!
google avatar

Kurt S.

Yelp
Service was great with iPad people running around. Just didn't have a style that day that hit the mark of enjoyment for me or my wife. Popcorn machine is a huge plus
google avatar

Yelp
I was in the Twin Cities area for work recently and we did a team outing at both LTD Brewing and nearby Bear Cave Brewing. LTD immediately had a familiar, chill vibe to it. Unlike the brand-new and pretty fancy Bear Cave, LTD is a more traditional locale to grab a beer. They were playing Bingo at the time, for prizes - something I hadn't really seen at a bar before but people were having a good time with it. Had some good beers and took a few crowlers home to share with my wife. It was a cool place to hang out - if there was a place like this near my house, I'd be a regular!
google avatar

Ben K.

Yelp
A Hopkins classic! Parking can be hit or miss at LTD, but there is street and lot parking nearby! The space itself isn't anything special but has a homey, local brewery feel! Kudos for the free popcorn available! Service is always friendly and attentive! Beer is great! There's always something new to try! My favorite is their Muffin Top, blueberry muffin beer. It's a summer flavor, so make sure to stop by before it's gone!

Yelp
While in Hopkins I made a pit stop at @ltdbrewing for some beer and popcorn. I tried five of their beers that they had on tap. They had a range of beers from the big and malty to the light and refreshing (and the popcorn machine with fresh popcorn was a nice snack). Belgian Tripel Ale: Heavy hitting Belgian Tripel at 9.9%. Medium body with clove aromatics. Toasted bread malt flavor with a spicy clove flavor - ends with a sweet finish with some fruit rising to balance the clove. The Ant-Man Cometh: A New England Hazy IPA with Mosaic, Galaxy, Amarillo Cryo, and Citra hops. Well-balanced bitterness with grapefruit sweetness. Fruity / grapefruit zest aroma with a haze for days. Blueberry Muffin Top Blonde Ale: A liquid blueberry muffin. Smells like a fresh blueberry muffin straight out of the oven on a Sunday morning and tastes like grandma always made it. Refreshing on a warm day with a light body of a blonde ale. The Great Bluedini Imperial Sour: Mild blueberry on the nose with a tart blueberry flavor. A malty sweetness rises to balance the tart blueberry. Very different from Blueberry Muffin Top, but just as enjoyable. Summer Hefe: Hazy as a true Hefeweizen should be. LTD used American white wheat and pilsner malt to create a smooth and drinkable Hefe with banana / clove character that doesn't taste artificial like some Hefeweizens can turn into.

Yelp
They have an interesting variety of beers to try! (Plus non-alcoholic drinks). We each got a flight and while we didn't love every brew, there were none we disliked. The inside is neat, has an almost western theme. They also have an outdoor patio under a tent. It was a fun date!

Yelp
LTD Brewing has been on my list for a while after seeing their cute flight paddles on Instagram - and it will continue to be a go-to spot! We walked over to LTD after being at a different spot in Hopkins, and we're happy to see it buzzing on a Friday night! We walked inside to be seated and we're greeted by a host/waitress. They said we could find a seat inside or outside and we would have table service! The inside was warm and woody, yet a little eclectic with their decor and signs - I loved it. The bar is at the center with two sides to order from, while the table service orders are picked up on the corner under the LTD sign - it's also nice and spacious inside! Since it was a nice summer night, we grabbed a space for four outside on their patio - where LTD has taken over the sidewalks near them and put up a white tent with tables and chairs. It's the perfect little quaint Mainstreet vibe. The service was excellent at LTD. After finding our seats, only a minute later a waitress came by with a QR code and said we would be helped in a minute or two. We had just enough time to look at the menu and decide when another waitress came by and took our orders. Throughout the night different servers would check on us, which was great! And it didn't feel like overkill either. The drinks were super timely as well, coming out to us less than 5 minutes after we ordered every time - even though the patio was full of people! When we wanted to go inside and enjoy the live music, we didn't even need to close out - they just made note of it and said that the tips are pooled so we didn't need to worry about tipping each server that helped us. On top of it all, while being busy, every single server we encountered was kind, attentive and helpful. Now for the drinks! I ordered one of the flights I have been ogling over on Instagram, and it did not disappoint. I don't think I've ver had a flight where I liked every. single. one. until now. The OPPC was an orange infused version of their light Patio Crusher beer. It was perfectly citrusy without being like a sour. The Muffin Top was a crowd favorite by my group - it really smelled like a blueberry muffin and you could definitely taste it in the light beer. One of my favorite specialty beers I've had anywhere! The Apricot Hefeweizen was also a deliciously fruited light beer without the sweetness of a sour - similar to the OPPC. Their Raspberry Seltzer was delicious! Nothing unique, but a delicious sweeter seltzer. Finally, my favorite of the rotation was the Mangonator - it seriously tasted like drinking alcoholic mango juice. It was sweet and smooth, and I wasn't even sick of it when I got a pint after my flight. When we went inside, I tried their signature Friday Night Drink - Firken Friday, which rotates every week! This week was a pineapple mango seltzer, and it was delicious, sweet and refreshing. Overall, I absolutely loved my night at LTD and loved every drink I tried! I can't wait to come back and continue to try their beers as they rotate.

Yelp
The beer tenders are friendly and there's always something good on tap. I get to pet the best doggos and catch up with some old friends during every visit. They host events like trivia or live music through the week and the free popcorn is pretty good! It's a small town brewery, but it's a vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
What a fun little hangout! LTD is in downtown Hopkins, surrounded by several tasty restaurants. There is some street parking and then Hopkins public parking. As opposed to going up to the bar to order, they have servers. They also have free popcorn, a great selection of board games, and several projector screens. When it comes to selection, it is about average or slightly under average. They had one seltzer, some bottles of kombucha, and home brewed root beer as well. The atmosphere was friendly and warm, and it was a bit loud, as it is at most breweries. I had a good time, I'd come back if I was in the area. Thanks!
google avatar

Yelp
I always love a good local brewery. LTD has an awesome space with plenty of seating. They have large screens for watching sports. I also love that LTD gives back to the community by doing fundraisers on Mondays. We got a flight of beers - you can pick 5 for $12 (though some have an up charge of $1). My favorites from when I went were the Strawberry Mango sour and the Irish Red Ale. I loved the coffee stout too. There's a good variety so I feel like there's something for everyone. They offer popcorn, which was excellent. I was very tempted to eat popcorn for dinner. We ordered takeout instead of popcorn. LTD allows outside food!

Kathy F.

Yelp
We went because a friend was playing guitar there. We drank root beer. Are some popcorn. It was a cute place.
google avatar

Hayward L.

Yelp
Great beer selection and friendly staff. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the bar offers free popcorn. There was live music when we came here on a Friday evening. Tried both the orange and blueberry infused beers, both were good although the flavor did taste a bit artificial for some reason. The IPAs are pretty good as well and I would probably try more of those next time.
google avatar

Aurah Gqunefere W.

Yelp
Cute place, decent beers, service is really spotty. Was brewery hopping with friends and this was our last stop of the night. They did have free cupcakes when we went though, they were delicious!!
google avatar

Joy S.

Yelp
We stopped at this brewery for drinks before supper. They had a wide variety of options. My group had Muffin Top blueberry blonde ale, Effin' Limited white stout, and Blood Orange IPA. Everyone liked their choices. The two fruit ones really smelled like the fruit! The servers were attentive and friendly.
google avatar

Alik W.

Yelp
In a land filled with microbreweries, this one stands out. They have a bit of a gimmick -- everything done is small batch and gone when it's gone, i.e. there aren't flagship standbys like you might see at other breweries. Their beers tend to have character, i.e. the IPA tastes different than every other IPA you've ever had. (In this case, a really interesting watermelon character, rather than the citrus I'm used to.) It is the same drill as everywhere else -- some tables inside, patio outside, stash of board games (currently locked away due to COVID), no food but you can buy some pretzels or hit the food truck. The pretzel selection's better than average -- not just Von Hanson's, but also Firesticks. A solid choice for hanging out and grabbing some brews in the west metro, and I sure hope they survive!
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
Another brewery review, and my input on if it's good for kids. First off, the beer.....great selection, good IPAs and a good Porter! They have root beer for the kiddos as well as snacks. Nice indoor and outdoor space, nothing kid specific, but overall not too pretentious that you can't bring your kids.
google avatar

Abigale S.

Yelp
Tuesday night BINGQ is a must. LTD knocks it out of the park with their seasonal beers throughout the year. Current favorites are the Muffin Top and Raspberry Sour. Their staff is fantastic, they come to the table to take your order--no waiting in line for your next beer at LTD.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Really love this brewery! Their bathroom is very nice and jam packed with lady essentials. Also I love Miranda the cocktail waitress she is such a nice young lady. 5/5 would recommend this brewery.
google avatar

Elise D.

Yelp
LTD Brewing is a hidden gem. They make small batches, and I think that's why every single brew they pour is quality. I am a huge fan of sour beers. LTDs sours are delicious and exceptionally made, and they always have a couple on tap, which can't be said for many breweries. They aren't afraid to experiment with different flavors. There's always something new and exciting to look forward to when coming to LTD. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable. They'll come to You at your table to take orders which is also nice - no having to wait in line and shout your order over the bar. There truly is something for everyone here. I highly recommend coming to LTD, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
How have I lived so close to this place for 2 years and never checked it out?! I'm so happy I finally ventured here this weekend. For being a small brewery I was surprised at how many options they had on tap. I tried the patio crusher and Belgian blonde and loved both! Full of flavor and thirst quenching. You know it's a decent brewery when there's free popcorn and they make sure the machine is always full. You can also order food from any nearby restaurant and they have a handful of menus on hand to reference. The only downfall was the seating arrangement. It was pretty crowded when we walked in with nowhere to sit. There's not a ton of standing room space either so we were in an awkward spot until someone left. I will definitely be coming back here!
google avatar

Deb S.

Yelp
We cannot get enough of this uber-friendly spot. Outdoor seating is lovely in the shaded sun and the beer is perfectly frosty. Service is masked and efficient. Their crowlers are ready for the taking and all I can say is that I cannot wait to get back here!! Fave Beer - Patio Crusher!!!
google avatar

Christopher H.

Yelp
Full Service brewery! Tried to get this pic into the right hands but must've got the number wrong...
google avatar

Brooke R.

Yelp
I had no idea this place even existed in Hopkins, but I'm happy I found it! I came on a Sunday evening, it was not very busy, but the atmosphere was great. The staff were helpful and knowledgable, they let me sample the different beers to make sure I was happy with my choice. They had a big screen playing the Vikings game, so you can't get much better than beer and football.
google avatar

Erin Z.

Yelp
Unassuming brewery in downtown Hopkins. The place was packed when we arrived. No open tables. Finally a group left and I was able to snag the table. This place seems to be very popular with people just looking for a chill time drinking craft beers. The space is small. There are many tables and some couches crammed in to accommodate visitors. It also isn't fancy and new. It reminded me a of a college bar but with a brewery. Just very straightforward and laid back. You can order from the bar but the nice thing is they have people walking around with tablets to take your order. I think due to size they can't have all the Minnesotans do there single queue around the place. Beers were pretty good. I had two, Cherry Limeade Sour and Brown Ale. Both beers were flavored as labeled. The sour wasn't overly sweet as I feared and definitely had that tart sour flavor. The brown was standard but good. My drinking companions ordered a variety ranging from an American Blonde Ale, Triple IPA and a Strong Irish Dry Stout. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. It's worth mentioning that they offer different sizing for beers, in case you wanted that 2nd beer but not in a 16oz. They offer root beer but no other spirits or NA options. They have a popcorn machine, which we loved. As well as many many board games. Highlight of the night, a couple sat next to us with Ticket to Ride (if you don't know, look it up) and I got so excited, I was mad we weren't playing it. Turns out the couple got it as a wedding present! Minnesota, never change.

Yelp
LTD is tucked away in downtown Hopkins, and I have to say I was surprised at how busy it was when we stopped in on Friday night. Great for them! Love to see small local businesses thriving. At any rate, the vibe inside is pretty cool. Be sure to look up when you walk in the door. The ceiling is awesome. Seating is casual and relaxed. I loved that there was a musician playing... definitely added to the cool factor. I will say that I did find the whole thing a bit confusing as a first-time visitor. You walk in and the design of the building basically points you straight to the bar. You aren't sure if you should walk up and order or what. A very nice girl approached us and tried to help but she didn't really offer instructions. She just kind of tried to generally be helpful by asking us how many people we had and making vague suggestions about sitting somewhere. Finally I gathered that I could order a beer from her, which I did after consulting the menu board. She DID have good beer knowledge, which was good. I wound up with the double milk stout, which was really decadently creamy but not as chocolately as I would have liked. And it was 10% ABV. But it sure didn't taste like it. I could get in some real trouble drinking a few of those. A few friends tried the cask sour, which again, I thought was good but not really that sour. I don't know. Maybe I was having a bad palette day. The girl who originally helped us and another guy were floating around with ipads taking people's orders and collecting empties. When we were ready to leave, we cashed out with them. In all, a lovely place to visit with decent beer. Parking is ample. Glassware is cool.

Yelp
Some friends and I took a trip to Hopkins. The mean street of Hopkins, Minnesota. The beer was fantastic, and the service was fantastic. I would suggest the flight of beer. Great service!.

Jeremiah Z.

Yelp
Super fun atmosphere and great staff! LTD is a great spot to visit if ever in Hopkins, the beer is some of the best in the Minneapolis area and we loved our time here!.

Yelp
So many taprooms, amirite? After a while they all seem to blend together and there isn't a ton that sets one apart from the other, so here's a few quick notes. - Waiters. I'm not sure if this is normal, but on the Saturday night they had people wait on us. This is both nice (no lines, etc.) but you also feel bad asking for a sample of something because they have to run around more. No biggie if you know what you like to drink. - Popcorn. Always love free popcorn! - I liked this space. Its small and intimate without being cramped. Something about it was just a bit different. They have projectors on the walls and were projecting the Final Four - nice touch, I don't think you usually see tvs in taprooms. - (root) beer floats, ice cream sandwiches, sodas. Nice to have something for non-beer drinkers. And another shout out for free popcorn. :) - They had quite a few beers available, but nothing really struck my fancy that night. Gotta deduct a star for that. Sorry.

Yelp
I really like this place (this was my first time). We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful May night. I love sour beers and they had a couple of great ones that I ordered in our flight. I hope they keep making the watermelon sour beer because it is AH-mazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us navigate the menu and take us through what we should include in our flight. We will definitely be back this summer! Especially to try their new sours!
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Not going back. We sat outside next to a table that was talking very loudly about masturbating and having sex with someone's dad. Two of the people were working employees. Stephanie was one and the other guy I am not sure of but he had on pink shorts. I know way to much information about Stephanie's preferred "techniques". The inside was nice and the beer was ok.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Excellent variety of beers on tap. Warm, intimate environment that's usually quite lively. Depending on the time of day, you can find young families to social drinkers. The staff is extremely friendly while offering up fast service no matter how busy the place is. I highly recommend this Hopkins gem! Try their sour beers.... you'll be happy you did.
google avatar

Gabriel S.

Yelp
Really fun atmosphere family friendly and lots of room. They have live music, video games, board games and much more. Great beer selection made in house as well as excellent root beer and floats made with either. Very reasonable in price and free parking.
google avatar

Allyson S.

Yelp
Love my little Hopkins gem! Food: Well, drink. It's good. They do a great job of keeping things fresh and fun. A while back, they did a progressively spicier beer. Not something I loved, but it was still cool to see something unique. Service: I've always felt like it was friendly and fun. I went a while back with a kickball team and they were accommodating. They actually had Cards Against Humanity and had no complaints about us playing and lounging for a while. Atmosphere: Average? It's like most taprooms, but I don't hate it.
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
Checked this place out the other day with my husband and some friends. We all had beers we liked- but can you really go wrong when drinking beers? The service was great. Every employee walks around with an iPad and is essentially your server. A rogue concept in the world of breweries. Bonus number 2: the place is family friendly! While most breweries are, it's more difficult to bring babies and children to the NE breweries. Here is what I didn't like about the place: it's dark. Dark floors, dark table, dark walls. Also the floors were super dirty. They serve free popcorn (another bonus) but unfortunately that means white crumbs all over their dark floors. I am one who is very turned off at the sight of any uncleanliness. I will however say that the restrooms were clean and the table we were at was clean. Would I go back? Sure! But it wouldn't be a brewery I would suggest first.

Yelp
You want a great place to grab a brewery beer! LTD is one classic brewery that has events big and small right in downtown Hopkins which is a trip on its own!

L N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I go here for BING-Q (their version of BINGO) on Tuesdays sometimes. It's free to play and there are great prizes (free beer, free pint glasses, free merch, gift cards, etc). The staff are friendly. You can bring in outside food, but there is not a kitchen/ food on site. The beer is OK. They make different beer each week and there's lots of variety. Cute location, good outside seating.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Chill brewery that doesn't have flagships! What?! No flagships!!!??? I'm okay with that because it allows for experimentation and variety. I L-O-V-E sour beers now. And let me tel you, the watermelon sour (get it while you can folded!) is like. Watermelon jolly rancher and a watermelon sour patch kid had a baby. The beer child of watermelon. F'n delicious!! De-Li-CIOUS folks. If you like sours. The here is great. Good, unfiltered, crisp summer breeze kind of Hefe. If you like ipa the milkshake ipa is yummy. This will be a regular on our rotation. Check out this menu, you will surely try a style that you like. I am not a fan flights but here, indulge and find what you like. The free popcorn refreshes the palette in between. LTD rocks! Did I mention you can get a growler refill for like $13?!??!?!??

Anthony J.

Yelp
Whomever manages the taproom is great at their job. Place was super well run and organized. Beer is fantastic. Whomever brews the beer is killin it! -1 star because no popcorn.

Norman F.

Yelp
Ok the beer is excellent but don't miss the root beer! Fun place great staff. Sit on the patio with a great beer and watch the world go by and just chill.

Yelp
As a seasoned MN Craft Beer drinker, my best advice to anyone who's venturing out to any new local brewery is to be sure to give them another shot even if at first you're not a fan. My first experience at LTD was just OK, so I wasn't sure I'd return...but I'm glad I did! LTD is now one of the closest breweries to our house, and they're constantly churning out good brews. Every week, they have Firkin Friday where they offer up some sort of small batch infusion, which is often quite tasty (but you have to get there early or else it often disappears). One of my favorite beers is the Sweet Dreams Pineapple Wheat, which is their pale wheat ale with pineapple. Island Boy and I tried it at the State Fair last year (where it won 2nd place for best craft beer at the fair), which is what originally brought us back into the taproom (we figured if they had one good beer, perhaps they had more). Just as with our first visit, we are always greeted immediately upon entering the taproom. We've found the patio to be a great place to hang out with our pooch, and the best part is, the staff will come by to take your order, so you don't ever have to go inside! So, whether you've never been to LTD, or if you have and you weren't in love at first pint, swing by sometime...they're sure to have something good on tap!

Yelp
Love the vibe in this place. Caddyshack playing on the big screen, great tunes, popcorn-a-plenty, delicious soda for the young ones and of course a great line up of craft brew. Only one block off the bike trail and and also cool swag. Well played LTD, well played. Although Excelsior Brewery is my local, I will be more tempted to head East!

Yelp
We went here on a Sunday after a local coffee and the vibes are so great. Such a great local brewery with great beers! I got the orange peel and blueberry muffin top, so delicious and summery. They really hit the spot on the hot summer day. Another great perk is that they have a ton of board games/cards you can play, which personally increases the fun of the place! Dogs welcome too! Fun fun place. Will come back maybe via bike next time!
