I am in New York for only a few days and didn’t realize they were closed on the weekend. They were very nice and able to process my film for pickup later in the day. Also, very fair prices and they seem to know their stuff. Will be my go to developer if I need to develop film in New York.

I got my film developed and scanned here, and I was very impressed by their prices and quick turnaround times. I would definitely recommend going here over CVS.

First time customer developing/scanning 4 rolls of 35mm film and LTI did a great job. The photo quality is gorgeous, big enough to blow up into a full print. I got a Wetransfer link right when they promised (a day and a half later) and everything was reasonably priced. I also noticed they had Portra there for purchase if you’re in a pinch, need it asap. Will be coming back!

Been sitting on a disposable camera for almost a year and finally decided to get them developed! Stopped by LTI and everything was so easy. Pricing is reasonable — I got prints, digital and negatives within 2 days and I believe it ended up being around $20. All the pictures looked great. Thank you!

Dropped off two rolls of 35mm to be developed and scanned on Monday, got my scans back Wednesday afternoon. Absolutely amazing turnaround time and the scans look great!

Used their rush service for a roll of b&w film and they were able to accommodate my needs at the last minute and did a fantastic job developing and scanning. Photos look spectacular. They went above and beyond.

Film photography is often not worth the additional time and effort these days, especially when film itself is in short supply. But film photography is therapeutic and still the medium of choice for many photographers, and LTI Lightside is the photo lab of choice for a large number of them. I only use film sparingly. But when I do, I bring my rolls to LTI for developing and scanning. They have a well organized storefront. They offer discounts to students. Their quality of work is generally very good. And they unfailingly meet their deadlines, whether it is color or black-and-white or slide film. Justin and Bernie are very friendly. Last time around I forgot to pick up the negatives for months. Justin spent over 15 minutes looking for my negatives and won't stop until he found them. Such great service is admirable especially when you consider my small orders. I will continue to use LTI for my processing needs and sure hope their business thrives and helps keep film photography alive.

Just moved to the city and was nervous about finding a new spot to get my 35mm print and scans--but this place is amazing! Brian was very helpful at the front desk, and even gave me the student discount even though I just graduated! And the scans are beautiful! I will definitely be back!

Now THIS! is a photo lab. I get the fuzzies when I walk in. The prices are fair for a HIGH end lab. THey upload the photos for you. I get all my pictures of my dogs and cat and son Jimothey developed here. I bough a very large print of my son Jimothey here, which was processed and printed quickly.

Beautiful quality prints BUT - I've been getting prints there for a while and sending them to people, but I rarely ever get confirmation emails or tracking numbers and the status on my online orders for orders that were shipped and completed months ago still say "not shipped" so I was always having to reach out and ask for tracking and by the time I'd receive it my package would have already arrived.

Literally NEVER seen these prices in the city. Crazy expensive. Would recommend going elsewhere.

Still get my 35mm and 120mm processed and scanned here... 5 years later! Always quick turn around and ready when I come to pick up. Scans are better price point and quality than another lab I get my E-6 developed at. I have never sent in film in the mail with their order form, but could be useful during this COVID time. Still highly recommend!

I've been using LTI for LF E6 for the past two years and they're been perfect. The work they do is great and the service is professional and welcoming. Prices are good. GREAT and friendly staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Don't make the mistake of going to Duggal and having them lose/damage your film (repeatedly).

I have been coming here for 10 years (or more?), as all the labs started closing down in the city. I mostly use them for processing and scanning 35mm film. They do a lovely job with my scans, and in all this time I've never had an issue -- at this point I wouldn't go anywhere else. I still take film photos as a hobby, not a profession, but Bernie and Justin are always respectful of my small orders and still remember my name when I come in.

I've used these guys a handful of times for B&W medium format processing. Their film processing is fast and reasonably priced. However, each time there have been minor issues with some of the rolls (color cast from developer not washing out fully, thin line across the film, streaks, crud on the film). I scan the films and digitally process them so the issues are easy to fix in post, but wish I didn't have to.

I have been a professional photographer for over 40 years and most of the labs I once worked with are gone. LTI is the best around for knowledgeable, personal service. They know what they're doing and I can trust them with my most critical work.

Buyer Beware! I am a Gallery owner for thirty years. Was recommended by Lombard Freid to facemount a Cao Fei photo for a client. Mounting failed after two years.Jeffrey Kane and LTI Lightside do not stand behind their work. Provided all documentation of replacement costs ($100) for a print from China. Refused to pay even that. Only ethical company in whole affair, G L Laminating in Brooklyn who will now get all my business.

Love this lab. They really make a customer feel welcomed and do great work for both film processing/printing. I think I've processed medium format c41 color film and printed a bad ass metallic print here. I would highly recommend this place to all my photographer friends. They don't process E6 transparency film here any more tho and I need to find a reliable lab to do this.

I've tried several labs here in NYC, and coming from The SF Bay Area, most of the premier labs here compare to those back home quite amazingly, but LTI-Lightside has become my favourite. Very consistent with their results-- development just as specified. Haven't lost a roll yet! Great prices are a plus too, and their student discount helps the wallet as well. I definitely recommend this lab. I'm yet to try their specialty B&W development, but I'm looking forward to it in the near future.

Horrific. Not only was I not told they screwed up my film in processing, but I was still charged the full $51 for developing and printing 3 rolls of regular c41 film. I got only 4 images off one of my rolls!!! None of the 3 were complete! Absolute mistake not just going back to Luster. Don't waste your time or money.

Standard pricing. Normal turnover. Good service, they've had to re-scan a few rolls and their normal guy-at-the-desk Bernard sometimes doesn't seem to have the time for your questions! Hobbyists/professionals stay sharp and make sure you get all the facts before doing business!

They ruined 4 rolls of B&W negatives that I took on a cruise to Labadie Haiti (chemical was too warm and couldn't be fixed). I developed the next rolls of B&W with Darkroom and they did a great job at a fraction of LTI Lightside's cost.

What an amazing shop! Stumbled upon them when I was in the neighborhood and needed some prints made of digital files. Came out super nice. Seems like they can print anything and everything. Hope to go back for other projects.

Courteous and fast service, but they did not honor a special request I made (which meant I lost a film spool of a type that is not manufactured anymore) and the quality of prints were less than stellar.

Fast, but not terribly cheap 120mm film processing. You pay for what you get though. Your prints will never look better. Do great digital transfers also!

I shoot medium and large format bw and slide. These guys always ask when I bring in my film backs, they know their dev times and chemistry, and are totally professional. I took them a roll I had shot that expired in 78' and they had no problem running it. Their 120 scans look good, very little dust on the neg/slide, and I am trusting them with my 4x5 slides for scanning.

I am using this lab for six years and it one of the best labs around. Bernie at the Front Desk is doing a remarkable job as Customer Services. Great lab to work with .

I used to use another local lab until someone recommended LTI, I haven't used anyone else since! They take really good care of your negatives (no stains, fingerprints, or marks like some places I've used). The staff is super friendly and the turnaround for processing is really quick (usually a couple hours).

Wrote a Google review and thought I would leave one here as well. Simply put, they are the best around. LTI balances the professional with the personable approach, all the while being communicative and efficient. I love this place. Every member of the team there is exceptional, with no exception. Their customer service is beyond reproach and their prices are low considering the quality of their craftsmanship. If one wants Walgreens pricing, then one should go to Walgreens; good luck with that. They're the best-- lock, stock, and barrel.

I've gotten several rolls of film processed here and haven't had a problem yet. Clean negatives, quick turnaround and reasonable prices. Congrats, LTI - you've earned a regular customer.

Started making runs to this place while working for a highly reputable photographer in the West Village. There is a reason the players go here. They understand name recognition and customer service. More so, if your a regular like me they treat you as a valued customer, not a dollar sign. Always polite and like a bartender at a local dive, they know exactly what I want. I've been taking my own work there ever since. It's a bit pricey but they know their stuff when it comes to dedicated film processing of test rolls and push/pulls. My only grip is that I went down there today to make a drop off and they were closed about 45 minutes early. It bummed me out, but when your trying to make a business out of what is becoming a dying art, I understand if you have to cut a few corners on payroll or let everyone go early for a long holiday. Either that or they need to open a lab out in Flatbush. Until then I'll still be glad to take my film here. Just call first..

i have been shooting 35 mm film quite a bit lately and have tried several labs around the city to find the best fit for me. i love LTI. they are quick, affordable, friendly and consistent.

I've been shooting for over three decades (hurts to even think about it) and will say that LTI is a great pro lab. I have them do both my large and medium format film as well as film scanning, and I'm happy with the quality and service. Mind you, once in a while there will be a technical glitch - when this happens they will sit with you to try and work it out.
