Why Village-to-Village Hikes Are One of the Best Ways to Explore Europe
"France is home to long-distance hikes known as Grande Randonée routes, or GR, for short. These routes take the form of backcountry trails, village paths, and in some cases, even city sidewalks. We're partial to Provence’s Luberon, where connecting trails take you on a cushy tour of hilltop villages and luxe resorts, with stops at wineries and Michelin-starred restaurants."
Exploring Provence's Luberon Valley By Bike (and Car, and Foot)
"Auberge du Vin offers a delightful culinary journey with its locally sourced ingredients and an impressive selection of regional wines. The ambiance is perfect for a post-ride meal, pairing exquisite flavors with rustic charm." - Sophie Friedman
LOVE YOU LUBERON! The country, the sites, the bike rides, the wine, the people, the french-ness! Oh my, how I could live here forever! We will be back, in the lavender season for sure!

Beautiful part of Provence and not crowded as the coast.
Villages are nice and each off them has it’s own charm.
The only negative thing is that people rarely speak English...
Price level for hotels is high, food is average and vine is cheap ;)
