At Lucas & Chris, a reservation is essential, with limited seating and a full house. The food is rich and indulgent, perfect for a special evening. I started with the sea bass, which was fresh, citrusy, and light. It was a great way to open the meal. The seafood risotto followed, beautifully made with a creamy texture, and the prawns were juicy and perfectly cooked. Dessert, however, was less of a highlight: the pistachio crème brûlée seemed to rely on pistachio paste, which dulled the freshness of the flavor. In hindsight, I should have gone for the chocolate soufflé.
Overall, it was a rich and delicious meal, but when the restaurant is full, it can get a bit stuffy and hot (summer time) something to keep in mind when booking. Still, the quality and care in most dishes make it well worth the visit.
