Lucas & Chris Restaurant

We had dinner here last Thursday for my birthday while staying in Colmar. It was by far the best dinner I’ve ever had. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were far above and beyond our expectations! To top it off they brought us champagne to toast at the end!

We enjoyed an exquisite meal at Luca and Chris! Highly recommend the perfect egg. What a unique dish! Beef fillet was tender and delicious, fish of the day was perfectly cooked and the seasonal menu was wonderful. Beautiful Alsace house wine from Domaine Bleger. So good, we drove there the next day and bought 4 bottles! Service was exceptional, especially for France. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Can really see how this made it into the Michelin Guide!

Brilliant dinner and wine pairing. Filet with wine reduction was cooked to perfection. Potato purée was amazing and the bone marrow was heavenly! Chef/manager and the server were personable and very attentive. Highly recommend!

What an excellent meal. The menu had the perfect variety, the portions were well-sized, the crockery innovative & all dishes extremely delicious. If you are looking for a nice dinner out - with a decadent meal - definitely come to this restaurant

At Lucas & Chris, a reservation is essential, with limited seating and a full house. The food is rich and indulgent, perfect for a special evening. I started with the sea bass, which was fresh, citrusy, and light. It was a great way to open the meal. The seafood risotto followed, beautifully made with a creamy texture, and the prawns were juicy and perfectly cooked. Dessert, however, was less of a highlight: the pistachio crème brûlée seemed to rely on pistachio paste, which dulled the freshness of the flavor. In hindsight, I should have gone for the chocolate soufflé. Overall, it was a rich and delicious meal, but when the restaurant is full, it can get a bit stuffy and hot (summer time) something to keep in mind when booking. Still, the quality and care in most dishes make it well worth the visit.

Great food and a relaxed ambience. Only a couple of blocks from the historic city centre but light-years from the tourist restaurant drags.

I had a fabulous evening at Lucas & Chris! Each course was delicious and beautiful, and the staff was very kind and enthusiastic about their work. They have curated a very comfortable atmosphere as well; I had a great evening to myself but could see it being an excellent vibe to bring a date or banter with friends. Highly recommend!

Lucas & Chris is an amazing culinary experience. I loved the oef and the magret de canard. Highly recommended
