The atmosphere is unique and pleasing. The hostesses and servers are very personable. The food is very good. The pictures I've included with this review are for the Deli Stromboli, Chicken Parmesan, and Tortellini Michaelangelo. I personally had the Tortellini Michaelangelo and it was very delicious. The person that had the Deli Stromboli said it was very, very good. The person that had the Chicken Parmesan said it was great. This is one of the finer Italian restaurants that I've been to and I would highly recommend giving Lucca's a try. You need to make reservations.

Easily our favorite date night spot in the area. Let's start with the focaccia bread! ALWAYS so good. We've been here multiple times and try something new each time and have been impressed every single time. There's not a single thing that we haven't liked yet. Solid wine list, fresh ingredients and excellent servers. 10/10 from us! Always recommend this place to our guests looking for a nicer meal. 📸: Caesar salads, Classico pizza (and meatballs & ricotta), Gnocchi Bolognese, Manfredi Ragu, Crab Ravioli, Tortellini Michelangelo, Crab Cakes and Ribeye with fettuccine Alfredo. Favorite appetizer: Crab Cakes Favorite Entree: Manfredi Ragu 🤤

So bummed to leave a less than stellar review of this restaurant! I've loved their Italian dishes, but recently I decided to splurge and get the $40 filet mignon. Ordered it medium and it came out very well done and even burnt on the edges. Disabled veteran, first responder, splurge once per month on a meal, especially reading all they that claim on their menu about their steaks. Very disappointing.

A must try when in Oak Island or surrounding areas! We drove 30 minutes because we wanted Italian and the menu sounded yummy. We were not disappointed! We brought our own wine (cork fee $25) and had a lemon drop martini and dirty martini both great! To start we had fried calamari, zucchini, and olives which were delightful! We also got meatballs which were flavored perfectly and an enough to serve 4 people with other appetizers. We also got the rice balls and they were our favorite! Cheesy and creamy and super tasty! For our entrees we got chicken Parmesan which was flavorful and great portion size. We got the carbonara which was another huge portion size and great. We got the crab ravioli which could have used more sauce and more flavor inside but still pretty good. And the pasta pescatore which was PHENOMENAL! All of their pasta is hand made and you can tell! It was served with delicious focaccia bread which goes great with most dishes! For dessert we had crème brûlée and mint chocolate chip gelato and they were very tasty! Overall this is an amazing choice if you want some great Italian food near the beach! We spent around $65 per person but there are price points for everyone! Overall it’s 5/5 🌟

Res for 6:00, we were seated promptly by a very nice hostess. Waiter was nice, knew the menu very well and took the orders perfectly. Food was good, one person in the party had the short ribs and said it was tasteless. I had the bone in pork chop and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly.

This is a hidden gem. Authentic Italian with the best pizza and pasta I have ever had. It can be busy during peak tourist season, so patience is necessary, but it is well worth the wait.

We ordered a ribeye that was cooked perfectly. It was full of flavor and the portion was so large we had lunch for the next day. Osman made the experience even better by making sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Lucca and we will be returning when we get the craving for a good steak.

Where do I begin... Authentic Italian fare has my heart. Hard to find the real deal. My first love was Italian and his mother fed me "old world" Italian. This is the FIRST place that has come close. I live 3 hrs away and truly think I might make a day of it driving down for dinner again soon! So I took a video of the bread they serve bc you gotta understand the texture. The salad has homemade dressing and has chunks of parm topped with crispy prosciutto! The Alfredo is made. Fresh. To. Order. The meatballs with whipped ricotta were generous and succulent and tasted like they were made in Nonna's kitchen. I could not decide what else to try so I tried a pizza with tomato, prosciutto and arugula. Excellent and loved the olive oily crust. THEN... we got homemade tiramisu and... RICOTTA CHEESECAKE!! This is not the dense "ny style" most people think of. This is Italian grandma cheesecake. It's lighter and more "grainy" from the ricotta. Something I've dreamed about for 30 years, since my boyfriend's mom made it for me!! Didn't get pics of dessert bc we took it to go and ate in our hotel!
